News Services-
The
White House will try to block the release of a number of e-mails between former
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama, citing precedent
invoked by previous presidents to keep their communications confidential.
That’s odd, I wonder why? Richard Nixon’s attempts to keep his communications confidential didn’t turn out well, but his
attempts at obfuscation led the news for months on end, leading to his
impeachment and resignation, whereas everyone now seems to agree that Hillary’s
e-mail cover-up is much ado about nothing. I mean, we know the Clintons are crooked, so what?
The
State Department discovered the e-mails as part of its effort to release the
former secretary’s e-mails. Obama’s correspondence was forwarded for review to
the White House, which ‘decided against releasing them.’
Pretty
much like how Richard Nixon’s White House ‘decided
against releasing’ every minute of
his Oval Office tapes.
