White House Nixes Religious Designs On Easter Eggs

 

Each year at this time, the White House hosts a "Celebrating National Guard Families" art event in which service members’ children decorate Easter eggs in the lead up to the famous Easter Egg Roll. But this year something was different. There was an added stipulation regarding designs the kids were allowed to put on the eggs. The National Guard offspring were explicitly prohibited from submitting religious Easter egg designs. (Can’t have “religious” and “Easter” together! That’d be silly!)

The flyer for the contest stated that an Easter egg design submission "must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements." See how they equated “questionable content,” “religious symbols” or themes, and “partisan political statements?” The truth is, this hyper-secular White House doesn’t want religious symbols on eggs because they think they are partisan political statements, since they know most Christians-- and an increasing number of Muslims—vote Republican.

What’s next? Will the Biden administration decree that Memorial Day observances are fine…as long as they are not accompanied by American flags? Or that we can still celebrate July Fourth, of course, but not with fireworks-- or by having red, white, and blue themes?

Oh well, here’s looking forward to next year’s “Holiday Egg Roll.”  

Resurrection

            (The following is a re-post from April 20th, 2019. It seemed appropriate.)

The question to ask this Easter is whether Western civilization can be resurrected.

 

The answer clearly is: not without Christianity.

 

It is not coincidence that as Christian churches close down for lack of attendance and are the targets of vandalism, as fewer and fewer Westerners identify with any Christian religion, fewer and fewer claim to be happy and filled with hope for the future.

Progressives fight for late-term and even after-birth abortion “rights.” Men are women if they say so…and vice-versa. Young children are encouraged to seek hormone “therapy” and risky operations if they seem at all confused about their gender. Some studies show that one-in five children have some form of mental illness. Hmm. For the first time, American’s life expectancy is actually declining. The San Francisco Gate recently ran a headline reading, “People Are Pooping More Than Ever on the Streets Of San Francisco.” Might all these things have something in common?

After the Mueller Report came out utterly exonerating President Trump and his administration from charges of colluding with Russia, the New York Times ran this headline: “MUELLER REPORT LAYS OUT RUSSIAN CONTACTS AND TRUMP’S FRANTIC EFFORTS TO FOIL INQUIRY.” That doesn’t seem like “The Truth.” Because it isn’t.

An MSN headline posed the urgent question of if a “white man” should be allowed to be the face of the Democratic Party in 2020. In a real sense, a 29-year-old woman has become the face of the Democratic-Socialist Party. She recently released a 7-minute-long animated film titled “A Message From the Future With Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez” in which she gloats about saving the world by banning the internal combustion engine, all fossil fuel extraction and use…and cow farts, while somehow rebuilding every structure in the United States of America and constructing electric train lines leading to… everywhere.

Oh, and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris nearly burnt down to start this Easter holy week. Officials, who haven’t yet been able to conduct an investigation, never-the-less assure us it couldn’t possibly have been the result of terrorism or malicious intent.

 

That is where we’re at as I write this, April 20^th, 2019.

 

Bar the Second Coming, there appears to be no way out of our malaise. Today’s “progressives” are anything but. Real progressives were men such as John Locke, Charles Montesquieu, and the American founding fathers who took humanity on a 1,500-year leap from the Dark Ages into a bright future of freedom, prosperity and promise. Today’s progressives are really touting regressivism, a devolution back into chaos, primitivism and darkness.

 

Until we begin to seek the truth instead of what makes us feel the best at any given time, until we begin to believe once again in something bigger than ourselves—bigger even than climate change and Russian collusion—we are doomed to a slow death by a thousand cuts.

 

Therefore, it is perhaps time for us in the West to be truly radical and embrace our heritage, our Judeo-Christian values. If we do so, perhaps we, too, will experience a glorious rebirth.

 

The way, the truth and the light. He is risen.

Media Trucking Around With The Truth Again (A.K.A. Lying)

 

New York Times columnist Nick Kristof recently reposted a preposterous NPR claim meant to make Israel look bad in its war against Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

The NPR report stated in part: “A Jordanian official says 30,000 trucks are backed up at the main border crossing with Egypt, waiting for Israeli approval to enter.”  

So Kristof, fully in the grips of IDS (Israel Derangement Syndrome), took to ‘X’ to repost this and note: .@janearraf of @NPR quotes a Jordanian official as saying that 30,000 aid trucks are stuck at the Egypt/Gaza border, waiting for Israeli approval to enter Gaza, with some Jordanian trucks stuck there for the last two months. Meanwhile, Gaza kids starve.

Social media critics like John Greenburg pointed out the absurdity of such statements. Greenburg calculated that 30,000 relief trucks would occupy 271 miles of roadway. (For comparison, Israel itself is 263 miles long and 71 miles wide.) We’d be treated to incessant aerial views of this relief truck traffic jam were it remotely true. The truth is that Israel has done more than any other nation in the history of urban warfare to limit “innocent” civilian casualties. As I have noted—several times-- previously, the mainstream media has become a shameless purveyor of lies, and, as such, truly an enemy of the people.

Feds To Attempt To Identify Who Is Watching Certain Livestreams, Videos?

 

As if the burgeoning U.S. surveillance state isn’t yet obtrusive and unconstitutional enough, recent reports indicate that federal law enforcement, in conjunction with courts, have issued orders to Alphabet/Google to identify everyone who is watching certain livestreams or videos on YouTube.

Of course, the feds purport to utilize this information only in legitimate ongoing criminal investigations. However, their recent track record makes this claim doubtful at best.

While I detest social media in general, the monitoring of online activities and pressuring of social media companies is getting out of hand, as evidenced by the Biden administration pressuring Facebook to censor disfavored content in the lead up to the last election. I envision scenes such as the following:

Fed: “Mr. Jones, on or about the night of December 9, 2023, did you or did you not take to YouTube to watch a Jason Aldean video titled ‘Try That in A Small Town?’”

Mr. Jones: “I confess I did, but only because I was so repulsed by the white, racist, patriarchal, Christian Nationalist message!”

Fed: “Do you know who Morgan Wallen is?”

Mr. Jones; “WHO?!”

Fed: “Nice try. Mr. Jones, you now have two options. One, you can make a full public apology. Or, two, you can attend a 6-week re-education camp.”

Fed: “Mr. Smith, why did you watch the video of Tucker Carlson interviewing Tulsi Gabbard?”

Mr. Smith: “I—I didn’t. I swear!”

Fed: “Mr. Smith…we have ways of knowing such things, so please don’t lie to us-- or things will quickly get, shall we say, ‘unpleasant,’ for you.”

 

 

 

 

 

The Fountainhead Revisited

 

We in the West used to build magnificent, soaring buildings and cathedrals because we could… and because we valued the buildings and what they represented. Not so much anymore. Why bother?

Once upon a time we strived for-- and respected-- excellence and beauty. We were inspired to create soaring spires atop elegant cathedrals, lofty structures reaching up to God and His heavens. But we no longer believe in God, or at least our elites don’t, so there is no need for the spires. And there is no need for the magnificent buildings, because our elites no longer respect excellence, they purport to disdain it.

The War on Excellence—indeed even simple competence-- continues unabated. It is, in fact, prosecuted with ever growing fervor by the perverted, demented, power-hungry collection of elites and their symbiotic special interest groups that currently control our culture and our government. The formerly United States of America are in grave danger of being permanently diminished, divided-- and ultimately destroyed-- by a vast cadre of pseudo-elites who were never elected and, if truth be known, serve only themselves. These deep staters, academics, and mainstream media members mock and despise those who believe in “America First” because, to them, “Me First” is far more important. (Though most will never admit it.)

And “Me First” is fundamentally incompatible with “America First.”

Just as Marxism—cultural and otherwise—is fundamentally incompatible with a free, democratic republic.

But how, really, does architecture matter? For the answer, look at Soviet Era block housing…and compare it to the skyline of Manhattan…or the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist.

As Winston Churchill once noted, “We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.”

More to the point, whether we deem excellence a curse or a blessing will determine our fate.

 

 

Guaranteed Income Programs Come At A Steep Cost

 

Numerous guaranteed-income programs have been implemented in cities and counties across the fruited plain lately. This, even though they have been tried elsewhere before and found wanting. “Free” money may sound like a grand idea to the do-gooder mind, but it is obviously counterintuitive to a rational one. If one doesn’t need to work for money—or the things that money purchases, why would anyone work? I mean, if you could be fishing, watching your favorite shows, visiting with friends or family, getting high, etc., etc., why bother?

Is it really a benefit to be granted something without achievement? Hell, if you’re not working, you technically shouldn’t even be granted a participation trophy! Would the Stanley Cup (no, not the ones sold at target and Dick’s) mean anything if it was simply awarded to a team or individual without any games being played? Should the Distinguished Service Cross go to that 30-year-old unemployed guy in your neighbor’s basement who plays video games 40 hours a week?

The obligatory disclaimer: I’m not talking about those who are truly unable to work or take care of themselves…but guaranteed income programs aren’t targeted at those folks, either.

We can debate whether the U.S. has been “fundamentally transformed” overall yet. But it is inarguable that our culture and mores have been. In days of yore, many people refused to accept charity of any type. Parents often told their kids to “pull yourself up by your own bootstraps,” “give it 110% effort” and “put your nose to the grindstone and your shoulder to the wheel.” Hard work and gratitude work the expectations, not entitlement and grievance-mongering. (Of course, in days of yore, parents routinely said similarly preposterous things like “a penny saved is a penny earned” and “treat others like you want to be treated yourself.”) Though these sentiments may be dismissed or seen as anathema by “progressives” today, they were part of the Judeo-Christian work ethos that led to the United States becoming the wealthiest nation on earth, winning two world wars, and going to the moon, for example.

Do most of us want guaranteed income programs? I don’t know, but I hope not. Though I suspect a fair percentage do.

Then there are things most of us don’t want, like electric vehicles (EVs), for reasons that are becoming increasingly obvious. Yet, the same government that would give us free money tells us we have to have them. That doesn’t seem very nice. But it is part and parcel of controlling us. We no longer have a government of, by, and for the people. We have a government of, by, and for…the government.

The more one gets, the more one wants, especially if it is cheaply obtained. Like a drug, we want more…more…more. This creates dependency. And that is why they are doing this. Governments don’t really wish to solve problems, they wish to create them. And then offer a purported cure…or more often something to make us feel better. Creating an entitlement mentality amongst the population effectively guarantees the government—and those in it—more power. In perpetuity. Government wants us to be slaves, or, a perhaps less offensive term, “loyally indebted citizens.” Citizens and public servants all used to speak of the importance of freedom. At any cost. It was a founding value. Not so much anymore. I would consider that a fundamental transformation.”

Margaret Thatcher (now compared to Hitler) famously noted that the problem with Socialism is that “You eventually run out of other people’s money.” Well, we already have. More than $32 trillion ago. We are on the precipice of an abyss. An economic abyss, a physical abyss (fentanyl deaths, plummeting sperm counts and fertility rates), a mental abyss (people appear to be getting dumber), and, worst of all, a moral and spiritual abyss. Like cattle to a feeding trough, we are losing our drive, our dignity, our independence and love of liberty…and our souls.

We could run to the light…if there was any. But we are entering a boundless Black Hole of ignorance, apathy, and depravity-- largely of our elites making. And we’ve done too little to stop them.

Money with no strings attached, huh?

X Post Explains The Great Replacement Plan

 

Elon Musk recently posted what is—or should be—a devastating video ad (“infomercial?”) by Western Lensman exposing the Democrats plan to utilize The Great Replacement to solidify their power for the foreseeable future. Please watch the video. It is well worth one minute and thirty-nine seconds of your time. The video illuminates the Democrats’ Seven-Step Program for winning elections and obtaining a permanent majority, effectively making the United States a one-party state. (Synonyms for one-party state are: authoritarian regime, autocracy, oligarchy, Marxist-Leninist regime, fascist regime, police state, people’s republic, dictatorship, and banana republic, among others.)

Whether this is a formalized plan or an ad hoc one—and I strongly believe it is the former—it is fiendishly clever and already on the verge of success. It is no exaggeration to say that many of today’s leading Democrats are utterly amoral…if not breathtakingly immoral. Many—if not most—want nothing so much as unchallenged power in perpetuity. This corrosive lust makes them do things like attempt to throw their political opposition in jail and turn on their own citizens.

It is hard for a decent person to believe, but the truth is they are using you and I to get rid of you and I-- or at least render us irrelevant.

The Founders would be aghast. This makes taxation without representation look like child’s play.

And makes those of us putting up with this look like children.

Let Them Eat Snake!

 

You’ve likely heard the expression, “If it was a snake, it would have bitten you.” Well, turnabout is fair play they say. Now so-called experts are saying that we should be eating snakes to help save the planet. Apparently, they are “sustainable!”

“Honey, could you pass the pythons?”

“Mmm, this anaconda is delicious!”

“Hey, nice asp!”

If a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, a snake in your belly is worth two in the grass!

The Klaus Schwabs of the World (Economic Forum) not only want us to eat ze bugs, but eat ze serpents, too! Yum! Apologies to Jim Stafford, but we are now supposed to like spiders and snakes! The experts, clever like a fox snake, must now be amused to no end trying to think up things to get us to eat. (Rather than just believe.)

But, hey, if it rattles you to think of eating snakes, you’ve probably never had viper victuals. Tastes like chicken!

So, someday soon, sit down to a rattlesnake entrée with a side of mealworms. Enjoy!

Universe Twice As Old As We've Been Told?

 

As I’ve previously noted, science isn’t what it used to be…and probably never was. Here is yet another case in point:

Recently, Dr. Rajendra Gupta, a theoretical physicist from the University of Ottawa, put forth a stunning proposition. He claimed that new data suggests that the universe is almost twice as old as previously believed. Experts have told us that the universe is nearly 14-billion-years-old for decades now. Gupta says it may instead be 26.7 billion-years-old. And, if that's the case, he asserts that there is no need for dark matter to exist as everything in the cosmos is therefore explicable and functioning tickety-boo, thank you.

I can almost hear scientists saying, “Our bad. We may have gotten the age of our universe wrong by 13 or 14 billion years, and goofed on the whole dark matter thing by believing it to be the most common element in the universe when actually it may not exist at all. But, hey, despite all the wild historical fluctuations, we are certain we can predict what the average temperature of the planet will be in say, 100 years! So please get rid of your gas stoves and lawnmowers with all due haste. Peace out.”

Invasive Species-- A One-Way Street?

 

Fear of—and talk about—invasive species is never-ending in the United States. Not a day goes by without local or national news media highlighting the threat of zebra mussels, purple loosestrife, round gobies, Asian (flying) carp, Gypsy moths, Burmese pythons, Kudzu, Wisteria, Eurasian milfoil, “murder hornets,” or any of literally dozens of other species. We are told, apparently correctly, that these species will simply push our native species out and take over the environment.

This always prompts me to ask several questions, none of which have ever been properly answered—or answered at all, probably because they are not supposed to be asked.

1)      Why? Are our native species all so pathetically weak and averse to successful reproduction that they simply can’t compete?

2)      Why is it that we are told invasive species are a national disaster in the making-- and require us to spend billions of dollars in the fight to limit their footprint in our native ecosystems--  while at the same time we are told that human illegal aliens/undocumented migrants/newcomers are a universal blessing that enriches our nation beyond measure in so very many ways. (Undocumented migrants/newcomers certainly do out reproduce existing American citizens, that much is true.)

3)      Why do so many of the invasive species, flora and fauna alike, come from Asia?

4)      Does this only work one way? Or do certain of our native species-- upon accidental introduction to, say, the Asian environment—go crazy and take over to the detriment or annihilation of the native Asian species?

I envision Chinese authorities bemoaning the fact that a few North American species have invaded their homeland:

“Wang, I can’t believe how quickly the Showy Lady’s Slipper has taken root across the Motherland! It is a tragedy!”

“Yes, Zhang, there are beautiful, sweet-smelling, pink and white flowers everywhere one looks! My Godlessness!”

“And our lakes and rivers have been taken over by walleyes! Walleyes! They have nearly pushed out our gobies and carp! Now we have only beautiful golden-tinted fish that don’t muddy the waters or jump in the air and hurt people. And that have remarkably tasty flesh! What are we to do? President and General Secretary Xi Jinping is not happy!”

“We have to stop this—and reverse this! What’s next, the white pine or sugar maple?! The buffalo or bald eagle? Unthinkable!”

*Communist China has reportedly cozied up to Hamas, calling the terrorist group “part of the Palestinian national fabric.” Yes, much like the Nazis were once part of the German national fabric. And, sadly, like communists are now part of the Chinese national fabric.

*California is reportedly considering a Canadian-style euthanasia bill that would allow even early-stage dementia victims to consent to being medically assassinated.

“Gramma, you just asked me the same question a few minutes ago. Maybe you should consider assisted suicide!”

*According to the 2024 Edelman Trust Barometer Canada Report, most Canadians, like most Americans, believe their mainstream media and government are lying to them most of the time. They are correct. However, Canadians, being Canadians, are even less likely than modern day Americans to do anything about it.

*The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is preparing to launch new satellites that will enable the U.S. military and intelligence community to effectively track moving vehicles and people from space. The NRO says that this raises no real privacy concerns as the satellites won’t be routinely targeting innocent Americans. The NRO also stated that: “Oh, wait, is that a MAGA supporter?! Gotta go. Bye!”

*The Dominican Republic has erected a 12-foot-tall, 100-mile-long border wall to prevent Haitians from entering their country after riots and unrest devastated the neighboring nation. Because walls work. So, the Dominican Republic can build a wall to secure its border, but the United States can’t? Pathetic. But, of course the U.S. could build one. It’s just that the current administration refuses to do so.

 

 

"Lies At 11"

 

            Reports indicate that the perpetually white-nosed Hunter Biden had access to then-Vice President Joe Biden’s Top-Secret materials-- including those containing national defense information pertaining to U.S. troop deployment while he was on vacation in Nantucket. You can be sure you will not be seeing in-depth reports and analysis of this little fact on mainstream media outlets. They are too busy falsely claiming that Donald Trump said there would be a “bloodbath” in the country if he didn’t win the presidency in the upcoming November election. (Trump was obviously speaking specifically about the potential collapse of the auto industry, nothing else.)

The mainstream media is a joke now. A laughingstock. So preposterously biased that the majority of people no longer believe anything it says. Many, in fact, me among them, now automatically assume the opposite of whatever those outlets say. And it must be said they earn this disbelief and scorn every day. The blatant, provable lying about Donald trump never ceases, nor does the pathetically blatant covering up for President Biden.

If long-term business associates of Hunter Biden testified under oath that, say, Hunter funneled $5 million in Chinese funds to “the Big Guy,” his father President Joseph R. Biden, and said that they personally witnessed President Biden pocketing the cash and saying “I love those Chi-coms and will do anything they ask,” it would remain largely unreported. Instead, they would all claim, in nearly identical verbiage, that the “Republicans’ ‘bombshell’ allegations turned out to be a big nothing burger.” They would simply further state that President Biden “was mostly vindicated,” and that the testimony “essentially exonerates the president.”

On the other hand, if Trump were to offhandedly say, “I’d like to have another shot at the presidency,” the media would state, breathlessly and in unison: “Donald Trump said he wants to assassinate President Biden!”

(It is, however, apparently okay for leftist media personalities such as Keith Obermann to muse about Trump being assassinated.)

Canadians Also Unhappy With Their Country's Direction

 

Prepare to read a remarkable statement: “everything is broken in this country.”

According to a recent poll, 70 percent— seventy!— of Canadians agreed with that assertion. Those surveyed say that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s (radically) Liberal government is too focused on climate change and the war in Ukraine, and not dealing with issues important to them, such as the high—and rising—cost of living.

“Everything is broken in this country.”

Much the same is true in America, where the (radically) progressive Biden administration is obsessed with battling climate change, funding the war in Ukraine, and making sure that everyone’s preferred pronouns—and bathroom choices—are honored. The parallels are striking. The majority of Americans want the government to get their southern border under control, and the consequent drug and sex trafficking to be eliminated or greatly reduced. They also want crime-- and inflation-- to be reduced. And the budget deficit, too.

And, sadly, there is another striking parallel. Canadians and Americans have agreed for some time now that their respective countries are going in the wrong direction. Yet, in both nations, the same (or similar) politicians that caused the problems-- or who at least refuse to address the issues their constituents/citizens care most about—keep getting elected. In fact, in the U.S., a great many who flee from “blue” states to “red” states apparently end up voting…as their fellow blue state residents did.

How can this be? There are only three possibilities: 1) Many Canadians and Americans are too ignorant of the causes and effects of politicians and their policies to vote in a manner that would allow for the changes they claim to want. 2) They really don’t want what they claim to want…or at minimum prioritize policy prescriptions differently privately than publicly. Or 3) The vast number of liberals/Democrats/progressives/Marxists and Deep Staters comprising our national/state/provincial governments, in collaboration with their sycophants in the media and academia, are, in diverse and inclusive ways, cheating—and stealing our elections hidden in plain sight.

Time is short. At this point, the only way we can fix our broken nations is to commit to doing everything possible, no matter the time or effort required. This means attending caucuses and school board meetings, acting as election volunteers, calling/writing/emailing/texting your elected officials, writing local op-eds or blog posts, and generally doing whatever else it takes to aid your cause…and your candidates. People on The Left always do this. We must match—or exceed their efforts if we are to win. I know this is tough, as most of us have jobs, families, and commitments. But we must do this anyway.

And most of all, we must tell the truth—always and forever-- and not shy away from uncomfortable discussion or conflict.

Only in this way will we see to it that “We the People,” in order to make a more perfect Union, are never ignored again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

U.K.'s National Health Service Asks Patients If They Are A "Goddess, Satanist, or Druid"

 

Gender-bending has been all the rage in the West for some time now. Intersectionality is as ubiquitous as it is detrimental. Institutions large and small have gotten into the act. The U.K.’s National Health Service, for example, has been asking patients to select from a menu of 12 genders when making hospital appointments. And that’s in addition to choosing from a staggering 159 religions and 10 sexual preferences. GB News reported that “some patients were even asked if they are a ‘Goddess, Satanist, or Druid’ before accessing care.” Gender options include the stale old “male” and “female,” but also “genderfluid, questioning, agender, non-binary, demiboy and demigirl” which are far more interesting.

The list of sexual preferences is also expansive, and includes “pansexual, bisexual, gay, heterosexual, lesbian, queer, questioning, unsure, or asexual,” according to GB News.

Considering gender dysphoria to be “cool” is currently en vogue. DEI is everywhere. But what if your little genderfluid druid needs they’s tonsils removed, for example, and the DEI doctor removes they’s toenails instead? Maybe not so good?

Given the extreme “wokeness” of today’s institutions, it wouldn’t surprise me if queer pansexual satanists receive preferential medical treatment…at least as opposed to straight white Christian males. They check more boxes, you see. And are way more hip and exciting.

Bloomberg Philanthropies To Fund Mayors' Drive For...Funding?

 

Erstwhile New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is planning to spend more than $200 million on a global warming initiative purportedly seeking to reduce the carbon emissions of major cities across the fruited plain. According to Axios, the funds will come from Bloomberg Philanthropies, the charitable organization Bloomberg founded. Memo to Michael: maybe work on getting Beijing, Wuhan, Mumbai, and Moscow to reduce their emissions first.

According to American Greatness, “The program, formally known as the Bloomberg American Sustainable Cities (BASC), will provide the mayors with the funding and resources needed to gain access to expertise and further funding from the federal government, through such laws as the Inflation Reduction Act.”

The program will provide “the funding” needed to gain access to “further funding”…from the federal government?!” I have a question: will the funding provided to gain access to further funding be more than the amount of further funding? If so, is this particularly efficient? If not, couldn’t they have just decided on the total amount of funding “necessary” without funding the effort to gain that funding?

I have another question: what the hell is wrong with our government, leaders, and charitable organizations?!

And further funding from the feds will come via the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)? Yeah right, nothing relieves inflation like more spending! Spending $1.7 trillion in a purported attempt to reduce inflation is absurd. It is patently nonsensical. It’s like producing millions more gallons of vodka to reduce the number of alcoholics. Study: Differences In Men And Women Persist Regardless Of Living Standards

 

According to findings of a study published in Perspectives on Psychological Science (love the monthly centerfolds!), certain psychological differences between men and women remain regardless of living standards. Knock me over with a feather! The intrepid researchers showed that, while some differences increase if living standards improve, others may decrease, and vice versa. They say that, in any case, we should expect distinct differences between the sexes to persist. Yes, just as physical differences among the sexes persist, regardless of living standards.

I hope the study didn’t cost a lot of money. I could have told them what the results would be before it started.

Men and women are different…and remain so regardless of living standards, economic conditions, or environmental factors. It should not take a rocket scientist—or a “researcher”-- to know this. Just as a German Shepherd remains a German Shepherd, whether it resides in Germany, the United States, Haiti, or Albania. And is the same sex in all of these locations, regardless of living conditions-- or anything else.

A sire is a sire and a bitch is a bitch. And life’s a bitch too, right progressives?

U.S. Army Changes Mission Statement

 

The U.S. Military Academy, the Army’s legendary college located at West Point, has recently changed its mission statement by dropping the words "Duty, Honor, Country,"

Those previously iconic words are being replaced in the mission statement with “Army Values,” an amorphous, non-specific term that could mean almost anything…or nothing. But you can be sure dropping “Duty, Honor, Country” means something. And it is not good…for the Army, the country, or potential recruits.

The Army should’ve gone farther and been more honest…by replacing “Duty, Honor, Country” in its mission statement and as its motto.

“Diversity, Equity, Inclusion” would be a perfect fit.

The direction the U.S. military has gone under President’s Obama and Biden will surely lead to…”Chaos, Embarrassment, Defeat.”

PETA Pressures White House To Replace Eggs With Potatoes This Easter

 

Reports indicate that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is pressuring First Lady Jill Biden to forego eggs this Easter and instead use “dyed Easter potatoes” for the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll event. That idea is half-baked, at best. A spud is scarcely a substitute for an egg.

Easter eggs have historically been seen as a symbol of fertility and the rebirth of nature after the long winter. Potatoes are a symbol of…Russia. Or modern fast-food culture. Not the same. Who’s ever heard of an Easter potato coloring kit? The outside of a potato is porous, uneven, and possesses eyes. And is typically much darker than the white shell of an egg.

Potatoes don’t work nearly as well as eggs for constructing idioms, either. Nobody ever said, “don’t put all your potatoes in one basket,” for example.

If Jill Biden and the White House give in to PETA’s demand, I hope they end up with potato on their faces. (See?)

Potatoes and eggs can be good together, however. On our breakfast plates. An omelette and a side of hash browns. Yum!

Study Says U.S. Textbooks Incorrectly Portray Sex, Gender

 

This just in: men and women are not different. (Okay, “experts” have been trying to get us to believe that for some time now, but it still seemed fun to write.) While a recent study did not explicitly say that, one published in the journal “Science” claims that many textbooks used in U.S. classrooms don’t properly distinguish between sex and gender, which are, apparently, considered two very different things by modern science.

The textbooks were taken to task because they didn’t allow for the unimaginably vast number of genders now considered to be extant—and on a continuum. (A very long continuum indeed!) The study avers that the archaic belief in fewer than an unlimited number of genders contradicts scientific understanding……thus proving that science isn’t what it used to be. And probably never was.

The scientists/experts say that, just because a person has male genitalia, we must not assume that that person is male, and if a person has female body parts/genitalia, e.g. a vagina, we shouldn’t arbitrarily assume that person is female.

Assumptions?! If we can’t assume that females are girls and males are boys…we are in real trouble as a society and a species. If men and women aren’t different—and the concepts of sex and gender are not even knowable, we may as well start closing up shop now.

Why stop at expunging musty old notions of sex and gender from our nation’s textbooks? Let’s look at what other “misguided assumptions” they may be promoting. The Earth is round? The Holocaust was bad? Lincoln was assassinated?

What the hell?! If we can’t assume water is wet or fire hot…we as a species will eventually go the way of the passenger pigeon…which were, by-the-way, hunted to extinction. They did not lose their ability to differentiate males from females nor decide that gender is a vast spectrum largely determined by one’s environment.

If we can’t say men and women are different, and possess unique and complimentary body parts, if we can’t state the truth, we are engaging in tortured fantasy. And sacrilege. We will have failed God and nature…and ultimately ourselves.

 

California To Help "Undocumented Immigrants" Purchase Homes?

 

California Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula has introduced Assembly Bill 1840, aimed at expanding homeownership opportunities for “undocumented immigrants” in the state. The bill would make illegal aliens eligible for first time homebuyer loans. The bill, as originally introduced earlier this year, was aimed at low and middle-income citizens, but Arambula apparently decided that was too exclusive, and therefore recently proposed his updated version.

This is yet another kick in the shorts to citizens, especially since the formerly Golden State has the highest priced housing—and by far the most homeless people—in the nation. California is already the only state to fund comprehensive health care for undocumented immigrants. And it has a stupefying projected budget deficit of $73 billion with an average personal debt of $84,730…which “undocumented immigrants” undoubtedly will not have to pay.

Illegal migrants pouring across our southern border have allegedly been handed credit cards and cell phones. In some cases, they are being put up in very nice hotels. Moreover, residents in places like New York City have been asked to take these immigrants into their own homes.

On top of all this, countless billions of taxpayer dollars have been sent to fund the war in Ukraine. Because, you know, Democrats believe the Ukrainian border is inviolate!

It is time for all sane citizens to admit that Replacement Theory is obviously, self-evidently, true. The current administration welcomes illegals in, despite or because of the effect it has on you and I. It will put illegals up at The Ritz or ask us to house them ourselves. “Mi casa es su casa.”

Or perhaps, if the latest version of bill 1840 passes, they can purchase your home if you can no longer afford it.

I don’t know about you, but I am sick and tired of hearing about “undocumented immigrants.” What about unappreciated citizens?!

If these latest actions by Democrats don’t bring home the fact that they prefer illegal aliens over American citizens, nothing will. It is mindboggling to me that Joe and Joanne Citizen, the “deplorables” in flyover country, the rubes supposedly clinging to their God and their guns, haven’t thrown more of a fit over being used like doormats by elected elites who obviously much prefer peoples from other lands. It is long past time “We the People,” actual taxpaying American citizens, stand up and say, “We’re as mad as hell…and we’re not going to take this anymore!”

 

 

John Kerry Says Folks Would Feel Better About Russia's War On Ukraine If It Was A Better Climate Steward

 

I increasingly find myself doubting what I thought I heard or read, particularly when it comes to the Biden administration and its sycophants. My jaw drops, and I find myself saying—often out loud—“Wait…what?!”

This just happened again when, during a recent presser, “U.S. Special Envoy on Climate” John Kerry stated:

I believe that Russia has the ability to be able to make enormous changes if it really wanted to. I mean, if Russia has the ability to wage a war illegally and invade another country, they ought to be able to find the effort to be responsible in the climate issue. And, uh, unfortunately, uh, because of the actions that Russia took in an unprovoked illegal war against another nation, we have not been engaged in discussions with Russia, sadly. I say sadly because it’s a loss for the world not to be able to have Russia acting constructively on this issue. But we need every country, including Russia. Russia is one of the largest emitters in the world. If Russia wanted to show good faith, they could go out and announce what their reductions are going to be and make a greater effort to reduce emissions now. And maybe that would open up the door for people to feel better about, uh, what Russia is choosing to do at this point in time.

Wait…what?!

If Russia did more to reduce greenhouse gases, people might feel better about its war with Ukraine? Alrighty then. “It sucks that Russia attacked Ukraine again, but, you know, if it was working harder to reduce climate change it would be okay, I guess.”

What about the greenhouse—and other-- gases released in the war? Or the potential for a nuclear holocaust? Maybe if Russia committed to using low-emission missiles and recyclable ammo?

Speaking of the Holocaust, if Hitler would have been more concerned about the climate, maybe folks would’ve felt better about the Holocaust…and his attacks on various nations! Same for Japan and its surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, right?   

Kerry recently announced he is stepping down as climate czar, praise the Lord, but it is a travesty that Lurch has been in government as long as he has.

Someone will have big (clown) shoes to fill.

 

 

Minnesota Democrats Propose Transferring 155,000 Acres To White Earth Band Of Ojibwe

 

Minnesota Democratic State Senator Mary Kunesh and Democratic Minnesota Rep. Aisha Gomez have put forth a bill that would give state-owned portions of the 155,000-acre White Earth State Forest “back” to the White Earth Band of Ojibwe by 2029.

Kunesh stated: “This is an acknowledgement of White Earth Nation’s sovereignty and their inherent right to manage their lands as best they see fit.” That’s as may be, but died-in-the-wool liberals like Kunesh and Gomez do not like it when others, such as western ranchers or straight white suburban males, manage their lands as best they see fit. Odd.

Progressive Democrats in the Minnesota state legislature don’t live in the White Earth State Forest, so they don’t give a flying tomahawk what happens to it.

Though also “stolen land,” these virtue-signaling hypocrites never offer to give back, say, 5^th and Hennepin, Loring Park…or the mansion-besotted soil surrounding Lake of the Isles, for example. I’m sure it’s just coincidence that they happen to live and play on these grounds. Right?

 

Federal Judge Rules $1.7 Trillion Budget Bill Unconstitutionally Passed. So?

 

A federal judge has ruled that the House of Representatives acted unconstitutionally in December 2022 when it passed a $1.7 trillion federal budget, the largest spending bill in U.S. history, using proxy voting.

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi allowed proxy voting using the pretext of COVID-19, after which President Biden signed the bill into law. Fewer than half of all House members showed up to vote in person. The judge said Speaker Nancy Pelosi violated the Constitution by permitting the mass absentee voting.

But, hey, that’s kind of Democrats’ thing, right? It shouldn’t be surprising. They love proxy voting-- via mail, or online, or smoke signal, carrier pigeon, etc., etc. They’ll do anything so that votes can’t be properly vetted and counted.

Judge’s ruling or no, what’s to be done about this now? It may be unconstitutional, but you can be certain it will remain law.

And the money won’t be unspent.

 

MSNBC Panel Laughs At Virginia Voters' Illegal Immigration Concerns

 

A recent MSNBC panel led by Rachel Maddow appeared incredulous that Virginia voters are concerned about illegal immigration and would like to see our borders secured. The diverse all-woman panel yucked it up over the backwardness of the rubes of Old Dominion. Maddow noted that Virginia does share a border with West Virginia, however, and intimated that perhaps the voters should be more concerned with keeping the deplorable yahoos in that state from entering Virginia.

This was a remarkably repulsive—and public-- display of disdain for average Americans, even for the likes of MSNBC. Especially considering that illegal immigration now ranks as the number one concern among Americans overall, for several excellent reasons—expense, crime and human and drug trafficking among them.

It is hard to imagine a group of alleged “journalists” being more out of touch. Given the tone of conversation, it wouldn’t have been surprising to hear Maddow or one of her associates exclaim, “Let them eat cake!” (Or cereal.)

Sadly, Maddow’s show is quite popular. Still, it is hard to believe there are those who get their “news” from despicable clowns like these.

 

House Committee Says NSF Using Taxpayer Funds To Censor Online Speech

 

A U.S. House Committee purportedly found that the National Science Foundation has been involved in a taxpayer-funded scheme to shape and censor online speech. If true, this would be a clear infringement of citizens’ First Amendment rights under the Constitution’s Bill of Rights.

According to lifesitenews.com:

In the name of combatting alleged misinformation regarding COVID-19 and the 2020 election, NSF has been issuing multi-million-dollar grants to university and non-profit research teams. The purpose of these taxpayer-funded projects is to develop AI-powered censorship and propaganda tools that can be used by governments and Big Tech to shape public opinion by restricting certain viewpoints or promoting others.

The NSF has also allegedly been trying to hide this fact from the media to avoid political scrutiny and accountability. Should this really be the purview of the National Science Foundation?

This is worse than taxation without representation. It is taxation intended to strip us of our God-given liberties! Sadly, our tax money is used against many of us routinely now. Union dues often go to fund causes—and candidates-- many members detest. The government also finds ways to use taxpayer money to lobby for gun control. It is well more than ironic that we are effectively made to spend our own money to rob ourselves of the right to speak and assemble freely-- and defend ourselves. And, if the government can essentially repeal those rights, there is clearly no right they intend to leave intact.

Saddest of all, “We the Sheeple of the United States” don’t seem to care all that much anymore.
