Time For The New Year

                It is one thing to run out of cheese or wine. It is quite another to run out of time. Time, as they say, is of the essence. 2019 was a tumultuous year. We live in the most affluent time in history. (Though many, sadly, don’t know the reasons why). Yet people around the world sense that something profound is missing-- or wrong. Unfortunately, in most cases, they are right. Elites the world over, those ensconced in governments, academia, the media and massive international corporations—as well as dictators like the Iranian mullahs, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong un-- try ever harder to instruct and control the rubes, the peasants, the “deplorables” in fly-over country. And some of them are fighting back.
                What will happen? Where are we headed? Will 2020 be a good or a bad year? Will it be as tumultuous as 2019 or even more so? Only time will tell. We can tell time, kill time, waste time, or race time. Everything is a question of time, because, in some sense, time is everything. And it marches on… regardless of our wishes.
                There is no time like the present. Ask someone who has narrowly avoided death. Time is a gift. And there is no present like time.

                                                  Happy New Year!

The CBC Cuts Trump Out

                The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation—or CBC—recently edited the popular Christmas movie “Home Alone 2,” cutting the famous 40-second cameo in which McCauley Culkin asks (future president) Donald Trump for directions upon entering the Plaza Hotel. Comicbook.com queried the CBC about the “edit,” the network replying, “As is often the case with features adapted for television, Home Alone 2 was edited to allow for commercial time within the format.”
                Yeah, sure. Now tell us the one about the three bears. Has the Communist Broadcasting Corporation taken “The Apprentice” off the air, too? Is it refusing to show movies in which Ronald Reagan appeared? Will it now forbid all mention of Kanye West? Has it banned advertising from Chick-fil-A? Oil companies?
                Most of the mainstream media outlets-- the supposedly free press-- in the West act as if they were aggressively and egregiously censored by a totalitarian government. That they are so meek, uncurious, unserious, dependent, intellectually bereft, and willing to shackle themselves to one discredited ideology must boggle the mind of any sentient being.
                A free press is necessary to the proper functioning of a democratic republic.
                It’s too bad we don’t have one, eh?

Nike Releases Shoe Celebrating Colin Kaepernick

                 Nike, the Portland area international apparel manufacturer, recently announced plans for the imminent release of a Colin Kaepernick-themed shoe. The shoes pay homage to the date the former NFL quarterback first knelt for the national anthem, Sneaker News reported. Kaepernick wore the black-and-white shoes during his recent workout for NFL teams. (Didn’t help him). The back of the shoes sport a portrait drawing of the great man himself, while the bottom of the shoes are stamped with 081416, or 08/14/16. That is the date Kaepernick first refused to stand for the National Anthem. Nike released a statement saying that they collaborated with Kaepernick to create a design that connects to his "life personality,” adding, "Colin was identified because we believe his voice and perspective inspire many generations on and off the field."
     The shoes went on sale Monday, December 23rd. Sadly, they sold out in mere minutes. They are no longer available. However, the high demand for the Kaepernick shoes has apparently inspired Nike to consider launching several other new lines of commemorative footwear. One source, who wishes to remain anonymous, told me the company is in the early stages of producing shoes honoring the 1968 Olympic protest of Tommie Smith and John Carlos in Mexico City, John Hinckley Jr.’s attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan on March 30th, 1981, and the first abortion performed by Planned Parenthood in Syracuse, New York, circa 1970.
                The source said Nike is apparently also considering releasing shoes celebrating the 9/11 attacks on America and The Tet Offensive, launched by the Viet Cong and North Vietnam on January 30th, 1968, against the United States and its allies.
                Not to be outdone, Reebok, a Nike competitor, is rumored to be coming out with an athletic shoe paying tribute to the British soldiers responsible for the Boston Massacre, while a separate anonymous source tells me New Balance will soon manufacture a shoe commending the recent impeachment of President Trump.
                As this new woke trend grows ever stronger, some experts say it will almost certainly spread to manufacturers of other apparel items. One garment industry guru said she expects Hanes and Fruit of the Loom to soon release boxers and briefs with the following dates and occurrences stamped on them in various locations:

*11 04 08— Barack Hussein Obama elected president of the United States.

*11 06 12-- Maine, Maryland, and Washington become the first states to legalize same-sex marriage.

*‘72 ‘76 ‘80 ‘84—The four election years in the 20th Century in which Gus Hall, general secretary of the Communist Party of the United States of America (CPUSA), ran for president.

*03 30 1981— Date Ronald Reagan was shot/nearly assassinated by John Hinckley Jr.

*01 22 19— Date New York legalized full-term abortion.

*2012— The year Colorado and Washington legalized recreational marijuana use.

*05 08 2019—Date Denver, Colorado voters decriminalize the possession and use of hallucinogenic “magic mushrooms.”

*08 16 2018—Satanic Temple members unveil statue of occult deity Baphomet in front of Arkansas State Capitol building.

Actress Jameela Jamil Equates Abortion With Liberty

Actress Jameela Jamil, of NBC’s “The Good Place,” took to Twitter recently to trumpet her love of abortion, saying “My life is more important to me than an unborn fetus’ one. Suck on that.” A lovely, unselfish sentiment from a classy lady.
In an interview with feminist icon Gloria Steinem published in Harper’s Bizarre magazine earlier this year, Jamil remarked: "I'm someone who's had an abortion, and I feel like I need to make sure that we prove it's not always just emergencies. People have abortions, sometimes a woman just wants her liberty, and we have to normalize that it's okay just to make that choice for yourself, because your life is as important as a newborn life that doesn't even exist yet." Abortion isn’t just for emergencies anymore! Let’s have ‘em for freedom! For fun! For sh*ts and giggles! Just because we can! We have to normalize infanticide. It’s just a choice that you get to make for yourself, because your life is as important as a newborn life! Especially one that doesn’t exist yet!
Earth to Jamil: it wouldn’t be a “newborn life” if it wasn’t alive and didn’t “even exist yet,” would it? Moreover, if it didn’t exist, you wouldn’t need an abortion, would you? You don’t remove something from your womb that isn’t there in the first place, Mrs. Einstein. Interesting that you accidentally used the term “newborn” to describe an unborn fetus “that doesn’t even exist yet,” as well. Almost Biden-esque misuse of the language.
Steinem told the actress, who has previously stated that the abortion she got when she was young was “the best decision” she has ever made: “It took me a while to understand that the first step in every authoritarian regime is controlling reproduction, and that means controlling us. Unless we — men and women — have power over our own bodies and voices, there is no such thing as democracy."
No, Gloria, the first steps authoritarian regimes take are preventing people from defending themselves, shutting down free speech, and gaining control of the media and the schools. These are things people of your political ilk are wont to do. Abortion-rights activists have control over their own bodies, they just choose not to exercise it. Twice. In deciding to have sex and in deciding not to use birth control.
Jamil also issued a separate tweet, blasting pro-life advocates and stating: “You people are pro-birth. Not pro-life.” Good one. Although that is a distinction without a difference. Or a distinction, come to think of it. For many, being born seems to be a pre-requisite for being alive.
Jamil took some flak for her idiotic remarks, prompting her to get back on her Twitter horse, telling those who dared to take issue with her, “I SAID WHAT I F***ING SAID and you’re clueless if you think I’m going to take it back.”
Well, Jameela, if you hadn’t done the irresponsible F***ING you did, you wouldn’t have needed an abortion. You’ll have to live with that your entire life and perhaps even account for it afterwards. Hope you are still in a “Good Place” at that time.
Suck on that, Ms. Jamil. So there!
I said what I said and you’re clueless if you think I’m going to take it back.

LGBTQ Flag Burner Gets Sixteen Year Prison Sentence

                Flag burning-- per se-- is not a crime in the United States. One can set Old Glory aflame with impunity, to hell with the hundreds of thousands who have given their lives for it and the millions who have in other ways sacrificed for what it represents. Like our First Amendment rights, which permit flag burning as part of the protection of free speech in general.
                However, burning an LGBTQ flag is apparently beyond the pale, not only illegal, but a “hate crime,” as it also ignites the indignity of Rainbow Warriors everywhere. An Iowa man was sentenced to 16 years in prison on Wednesday, December 18th-- for burning a “rainbow flag.” Adolfo Martinez took a gay pride flag from outside a church and set it on fire. NBCNews reported that he was given “15 years for the hate crime of arson” and “a year for reckless use of explosives or fire.” And an additional “30 days for harassment” for good measure. Arson isn’t a hate crime. Unless your target is a member of the LGBTQ community or other group that tends to vote Democratic.
                Ames Church of Christ Minister Eileen Gebbie told KCCI television: "Nobody got shot (and) nobody was sexually assaulted. It was a banner. How much does that hurt? But I had to reflect on the fear it created in our sanctuary. People became afraid to go to church.” Was Minister Gebbie allowed to influence the length of Martinez’ sentence? It sounds like it, but I didn’t find a report that makes that clear one way or another. The prosecutor, Story County Attorney Jessica Reynolds, said of Martinez, "I believe him to be very dangerous. That's why my office recommended the maximum sentence." The judge agreed to the sentence, making Martinez the first person in Story County history to be convicted of a hate crime.
                The U.S. flag’s colors are red, white and blue. Blue for justice. White for purity. Red for the blood her citizen patriots have shed to defend her principles. If one can burn the nation’s red, white and blue banner with no repercussions, the same should be the case for an identity group’s pastel one.
                December 18th was certainly not a banner day for the American justice system.

A Tale Of Penguin Perversity

                The cover-up is over.

                The story has finally been told. And it is shocking. Titillating. Repulsive. Black and white. Lloyd Spencer Davis, renowned filmmaker, author, and director of the Centre for Science Communication at Otago University in New Zealand, relates a tale of unbridled depravity in his new book, “A Polar Affair.” Davis, regarded as one of the world’s foremost authorities on penguins, recounts British scientist Dr. George Murray Levick’s study of Antarctic penguins in the early 1900s. Levick accompanied intrepid explorer Robert Scott on his tragically famous 1910-1913 expedition to the South Pole. Marooned for an Antarctic winter, he utilized the time to become the first person to conduct a lengthy study of penguins up close.
                What he discovered stunned him. He observed the randy Adélie penguins engaging in “astonishing depravity.” He noted that homosexuality, “promiscuity” and “infidelity” were rampant in the colony. He witnessed rapes, gang rapes, the sexual abuse of chicks by adult birds, and, he averred, even necrophilia. Levick claimed penguins also engaged in “prostitution,” with males paying with stones. (This perverted penguin behavior was apparently confirmed by scientists in a separate study of Adélie penguins conducted in 1998, more than eighty-five years later).
                Levick wrote a manuscript after his months-long research but considered his findings too inappropriate to ever be published. In fact, Levick was so shocked he recorded his observations in Greek so that only educated gentlemen could decipher them. He wanted to shield the results of his study from the general public and only circulated his findings among a very small group of “experts.” This led to a century-long cover-up of his discoveries. His work only resurfaced when it was unearthed at the Natural History Museum in 2012.
                To the certain delight of modern-day feminists, Dr. Levick blamed the penguins’ revolting behavior on “hooligan males.” Apparently, even flightless birds living in the most remote regions of the planet suffer from “toxic masculinity.”
                The controversial, steamy, envelope-pushing “A Polar Affair” is now available on Amazon. Where it is probably already sold out. Reviews of the book on social media have been impassioned, but starkly mixed, mirroring the opinions of the penguins’ behavior. LGBTQ groups were quick to laud both, praising Davis for writing the book, Levick for his groundbreaking study, and the penguins for their “queerness” and uninhibited libidos.
                Feminists, on the other hand, took to Twitter to express their outrage and demand that “A Polar Affair” be removed from booksellers’ shelves, while reaching out and extending a flipper of support to the aggrieved female penguins. #MeToo. Some went so far as to demand the National Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Penguins change its name and logo. Others called for Penguin Random House publishing to shed its name, as well, in favor of one more in keeping with the times. Still others insisted the federal government ban the manufacture, possession and donning of tuxedos.
                It is time we all “woke” up. If you ask me, this kind of behavior is for the birds.

Gov. Cuomo Vetoes Bill Allowing Federal Judges To Officiate Weddings

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo recently vetoed a bill that would have allowed all federal judges to officiate at weddings in New York… because of the possibility that a few of the jurists might have been appointed by President Trump. Cuomo said of the bill that was passed by an overwhelming majority in the Democratic-controlled state legislature: “I cannot in good conscience support legislation that would authorize such actions by federal judges who are appointed by this federal administration. President Trump does not embody who we are as New Yorkers. The cornerstones that built our great state are diversity, tolerance, and inclusion. Based on these reasons, I must veto this bill.”
Currently, all state judges are allowed to preside over weddings, as can the governor himself, mayors, and even deputy city clerks, in addition to members of the clergy and any member of the public specifically ordained for the occasion. Yet only certain federal judges are eligible to preside over wedding ceremonies. The bill Cuomo quashed would have expanded eligibility to all New York federal judges, as well as those from out of state.
The governor apparently has the temperament of a toddler in his “terrible twos,” petulantly refusing to permit even the possibility of a Trump appointee helping to see a couple through to wedded bliss. His action was truly petty, close-minded, mean-spirited, mind-blowing… his stated reason for it spectacularly hypocritical, illogical. In order to uphold the Empire State’s supposed values of “diversity, tolerance, and inclusion,” he commits an act so intolerant it will mandate the exclusion of many judges from around the country and anyone who doesn’t think like the governor himself… from officiating a wedding!
 What’s next for Gov. Bozo? Will he ban firemen who speak well of Trump from fighting fires and getting cats down from trees?

'Twas The Night Before "Impeachmas"

'Twas the night before ‘Impeachmas,’ when all through the House
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
Allegations were slung without any care,
In hopes that the president soon would despair;
Democrats were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of impeachment danced in their heads;
But Pelosi-- in her dress—soon set her trap,
And simply settled down for a long winter's nap,
Then on the TV there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter.
And then he appeared, he was there in a flash,
It gave me the shudders, My teeth I did gnash.
Well he looked like a liar, had a manner so stiff,
I knew in a moment it must be Chairman Schiff.
More eager than beavers his minions they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
"Now, NANCY! now, RASHIDA! now, OMAR you vixen!
On, WATERS! on CLYBURN! on, SWALWELL! (And Wolf Blitzer)?
It is Trump we will scorch! Forget about the wall!
Now bash away! trash away! Slapdash away all!"
His eyes -- how they blazed! his features unmerry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose almost scary!
His sad little mouth was drawn taught as a crossbow,
His words imprecise, his delivery slow;
He was spindlier than Trump, a nasty old grump,
And I groaned when I saw him, and thought  ‘What a chump’;
The mania in his eyes, and slight twist of his head,
Soon filled me with nothing-- nothing but dread;
He spoke feckless words, in front of the Clerk,
And lied through his teeth; oh, what a jerk,
Flipping his finger and thumbing his nose,
He tried to run roughshod over those he’d oppose;
He sprang from his chair, to his team gave a whistle,
And they all fell in line as the president bristled.
 I heard him exclaim, ere he was done for the night,
Merry Christmas To All

Gender-Neutral Father Christmas?

                GraphicSprings, an online free logo generator and graphics design company, recently put together and conducted a survey asking what Father Christmas should look like if he was subjected to a rebranding and modernization effort. More than 4,000 people in the United Kingdom and the U.S. were asked to vote on a series of statements pertaining to Father Christmas’ updated look. Statements such as “He should have an iPhone,” “He should have dreadlocks” and “He should use Amazon Prime” were included, among numerous others.
                Turns out, 17% of the respondents said Santa should become gender-neutral, and almost 11% thought St. Nick should transition to a woman. For what it’s worth, a higher percentage of those polled in the United States wanted a gender-neutral Santa than in the U.K.
                I say Santa should be a gender-neutral bisexual with dreadlocks who orders his toys from Amazon with his new iPhone 11 Pro Max because they (one of Santa’s preferred pronouns) has tasked the elves with trying to prepare the North Pole for the onslaught of flooding that Global Warming/Climate Change will surely bring.
                Moreover, Santa would rename Rudolph “Justice,” and the other reindeer “Charlie,” “Finley,” “Skylar,” “Royal,” “Lennon,” “Oakley,” “Armani,” “Landry” and “Azariah.”

                But seriously: Merry Christmas!

Alumni, Alumnx

              According to The College Fix, college departments across the country are dumping the term “alumni” in favor of “alumnx” in support of gender neutrality.  This is surpassingly strange, even for the wokest wackos in higher education, as “alumni” itself is a completely gender-neutral term.
             “Alumni” is a Latin word derived from “alumnus.” It means “pupil” according to the online etymology dictionary. “Alumni” is the plural, and gender-neutral, form of “alumnus.” If “alumni,” obviously non-gendered, is still not non-gendered enough for leftist loonies, we are very near the end of civilization.
            Schools currently using “alumnx” in at least some instances in some departments include the University of California-San Diego, Syracuse University, the University of Michigan and Loyola University Maryland. The term is especially prevalent on the schools’ LGBTQ+ web pages.
To me, “alumni” has always been perfectly gender-neutral, whereas “alumnx” sounds like a non-binary, bisexual Latino woman graduate in today’s context. Too specific in its own misleading way.
Gender-neutral gingerbread cookie sweaters, gender-neutral Barbie dolls, gender-neutral gender-neutral terms. Can’t say “gingerbread cookie,” have to say, “gingerbread gender-neutral person cookie.” Again, both the term “gingerbread cookie” and the cookies themselves are gender-neutral. (“Person,” however, isn’t. It’s got “son” in it).
What’s next? (Although I really don’t want to know). Are we going to be asking if the word “neutral” is neutral enough? Is “bland” bland enough?
Unspecified, indistinct, unknowable, amorphous. Welcome to the future.

Biden Admits Green Dream More Important Than Working Class

                Joe Biden admitted during the most recent Democratic debate that he really isn’t keen on blue-collar workers. A moderator asked Biden if, in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, he would be “willing to sacrifice some of that growth, even knowing potentially that it could displace thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of blue-collar workers in the interest of transitioning to that greener economy?” Biden replied, “The answer is yes.”
                Well, there goes West Virginia. As Hillary Clinton found out.
                The willingness to sacrifice other people’s jobs is a key characteristic of Democrats, whether on the campaign trail or otherwise. This trait should be coupled with a willingness to lose one’s own job, but that is, pace Ted Kennedy, apparently a bridge too far. Biden’s easy dismissal of working-class types is mindful of other great moments in campaign idiocy, such as the aforementioned Hillary Clinton’s statement prior to the 2016 election that, “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.” Oddly, this did not sit well with folks in coal mining areas like Pennsylvania, Kentucky and West Virginia.
                This would be akin to visiting Wisconsin (something Hillary did not deign to do) and vowing to ban the manufacture, distribution, sale and consumption of cheese. Or appearing in New York City and saying, “I pledge to bring Wall Street to its knees.” Come to think of it, Alexandria Occasional-Cortex has essentially said just that.
                Who among us isn’t longing for Sen. Elizabeth Warren to campaign in Florida and shout: “We must go after Big Citrus!” Or to travel to Texas to tout her plan to “totally ban the production and sale of cowboy boots and ten-gallon hats.”
                I can’t wait for Tom Steyer to stop in Los Angeles and tell the assembled crowd: “The film industry must go the way of the dinosaur. It is needlessly wasteful of precious resources and greatly contributes to the increase in greenhouse gases sent into the atmosphere. Oh, and when I’m president, I will also ban spas, salons, tanning beds, lattes and plastic surgery.”
                Look for Biden to make a last-minute stop in Iowa ahead of the Hawkeye State’s February 3rd caucus, although he’ll probably think he’s in Ohio or Nebraska. Watch for him to step up to a podium, lean into the microphone and adamantly aver: “We must prohibit the growing of corn—feed or sweet—by 2030. It produces too many greenhouse gases and is inefficient in water usage.”
                And that is no malarkey.

"Somber" Democrats Celebrate Impeachment

                Just prior to the House impeachment hearings against President Donald Trump, Speaker Nancy Pelosi donned a black dress and took to a podium to tell the world how serious and “somber” a moment this was. Talking heads on CNN and MSNBC all stressed that this was a serious, sad, somber, solemn time for all of us. A big decision, a big undertaking, lynching impeaching a president, you know. The last thing they all wanted to do, but they are duty-bound— literally sworn-- to uphold the Constitution and the Founders’ wishes, you see. Therefore, painfully, prayerfully, they had to embark on the unpleasant task.
                What a load of crap.
                Rep. Rashid Tlaib couldn’t contain her joy when she was captured on film walking (on air) to the Capitol for the impeachment vote. She told the reporter in giddy tones she was going to vote to impeach the president. At least this time she didn’t publicly refer to him as the “mothereffer.”
                Washington Post reporters who were tasked with covering the coup events leading up to impeachment tweeted out a picture of themselves at a local watering hole gleefully holding up their drinks with the message, “Merry Impeachmas” accompanying the photo. Solemn and sober, indeed.
                The day after the vote, Nancy Pelosi herself, decked out in a bright red celebratory dress, exclaimed that “people have a spring in their step because the president was held accountable for his reckless behavior.” “Journalists” in the mainstream media who reported on the “historic” impeachment were fairly bursting with mirth and self-satisfaction.
                Those in The Swamp, academia, and the aforementioned mainstream media-- and their fellow leftists everywhere-- were drinking, dancing, joking, employing noisemakers, dropping balloons, and shooting pixie dust out of their asses after the House vote was finalized. It reminded me of nothing so much as the hilarious old CareerBuilder television commercial in which “a bunch of monkeys” are celebrating what they think was a great sales period for their company…until someone comes into the room, flips the chart they’d been looking at upside-down, and sets them straight.
                If there is a God in Heaven, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats will truly be somber on November 4th, 2020.

Democrats Impeach Trump, America

Democrats in the House made Donald J. Trump only the third president in the long history of the United States of America to be impeached.
From here on out, every president whose political opposition controls the House of Representatives will be impeached.
Such is the destruction the Democrats have wrought. After 230 years of showing the world how successful a true democratic republic could be and stunning many with civil, at times even cordial transfers of power at even the highest levels, Democrats chose to deliberately assassinate their own nation’s previously cherished founding principles, political processes and the rule of law. In a kangaroo court lynching that made decisions banana republic dictators have visited on their political opponents look sober, well-reasoned and just, House Democrats impeached President Trump on two counts of…of…well, things they didn’t like. For the first time in history, a president has been impeached without being accused of a crime. Or a high crime and misdemeanor. “Abuse of power” and “obstruction of Congress” are not only very broad and very vague “charges,” they are whatever those issuing them say they are. Obstruction of Congress? Seriously? Some body is a little full of themselves. Have any House members heard of “checks and balances?” Members of Congress routinely let President Obama treat them as his little “bitches,” too craven even to speak up when Barry used his “pen and a phone” to circumvent Congress and do whatever the hell he wanted.
Some in the Democratic Party, now no more than a particularly large antifa mob with better backing, have literally wanted to impeach Trump since before he took office. That gives the lie to the “high crimes and misdemeanors” standard and the “we had no choice” bullshit spewing from the power-crazed maws of the sanctimoniously evil. First, it was Russian collusion. When that fell through, it was this, that and another thing. Then it was quid pro quo. Then bribery. Then “obstruction of us.” If that would have been dismissed, they would have impeached Trump for “nasty tweets,” or “orange hair.”
Adam Schiff, a truly disturbed and dangerous man, refused to grant the president and his supporters due process at every step of the way. Schiff determined who could speak, who was muzzled. He, hilariously, claimed to be unaware of who the “whistleblower” was. A personage on whom the Democrats and their enablers in the mass media showered slobbering adoration. Yet Schiff refused to allow this third-party whistleblower to testify or even to let Republicans talk about him. Have to protect the God-given right of someone to conduct an anonymous, drive-by character assassination without having to provide any evidence or be inconvenienced in any way. If you are a member of a minority party, you are guilty unless and until you can prove your own innocence. Sucks to be you.
The traitorous Democrats, as ever projecting their own beliefs and behavior onto their political opponents, claim to be distressed about this whole impeachment business. It is a sad and solemn day for the country, they say. But they have to stand with the Founders. And the red-blooded men and women of our military. They fervently hoped it wouldn’t come to this, they bray. Despite the fact that many have called for Trump’s impeachment on—or before—the day he took office.
After depriving the president of anything and everything pertaining to the rule of law and due process in the House hearings, these preposterously partisan charlatans, led by Nancy Pelosi, now want to set the rules of the Senate hearing, as well, where the president and his supporters are historically granted the right to defend themselves from the baying hordes. The Democrats attack, attack, attack, while saying, “so sorry, so sorry, so sorry!”
Democrats claimed that, if Trump lost the 2016 election, he wouldn’t let it go. Instead, Hillary Clinton lost, and she and the entire Democratic party can’t bring themselves to come to terms with that. Simply cannot acknowledge that reality. They’d rather disenfranchise 63 million voters less than a year before the next presidential election than admit they lost. If anyone tries to reason with the lot of them, the precious snowflakes put their fingers in their ears and yammer, “The farmer in the dell, the farmer in the dell, hi-ho, the derry-o, the farmer in the dell.”
Making a tragic chapter in American history worse, Nancy Pelosi wore black to the hearings to trumpet to the world how somber and sad this day was for her—and all the rest of her Democratic colleagues. She as much as said, “If there was any way we could have avoided this outcome, you know we would have found it.”
The reality is that Pelosi and her Democratic quislings are partying like its 1999, when Bill Clinton was still in orifice office. And they were defending him from the “partisan Republican witch hunt.”
 In these starkly—and darkly-- partisan times, it is up to the voters to decide who should prevail.
Or at least it should be.

British Voters Say "Get Brexit Done"

“Get Brexit done.”
 That was part of a strong message Britain’s voters delivered to their would-be masters—both at home and across The Channel—with the recent landslide election of Boris Johnson and conservatives in general. It remains for Prime Minister Johnson, who campaigned on that exact message, to follow through on his promise.
The larger message England’s electorate sent via the Conservative landslide was: “We are tired of the effeminate, coastal and big-city elites in foreign capitals telling us what to do and how to think. We are tired of being lorded over by people who think they know better—and are better—than us. We don’t wish to send our money to Brussels to be redistributed to various other member states of the E.U. as its bureaucrats see fit. We don’t like the fact that any citizen of an E.U member state can relocate and seek work here without even needing a work visa, and that non-U.K. citizens can come here and take advantage of our National Health Service and welfare programs. And we sure as hell don’t like that the dandies in Brussels can tell us how powerful our vacuum cleaners can be and dictate the curvature of our bananas.
Borders, language and culture matter. As does history. England’s borders are…the ocean. Always an island unto herself, she has been near, but not truly of, Europe. It is time that England regained some of her old confidence, if not arrogance. Johnson in some ways is Trump’s “Mini-Me.” (He is 5’, 9” while Trump is 6’, 4”). Perhaps he can help Make England Great Again. Unfortunately, neither Trump nor Johnson are fiscal conservatives, but they are far better on a wide range of other policy issues than those from other parties against which they ran. Perhaps Johnson can re-invigorate Britain’s economy as Trump did America’s. Perhaps both leaders can restore their respective nation’s sense of self and worthiness.
Ironically, British voters’ disdain of edicts and mandates from Brussels is akin to the colonists’ abhorrence of King George III imposing taxation without representation on them-- and subsequently the Intolerable Acts. After years of delays, bickering and chaos, the majority of British voters found the status quo intolerable.
243 years after the United States declared independence from England, England has declared independence from the European Union. Let freedom ring.
Somewhere, in broad sunlit uplands, Churchill smiles. And flashes a “V” for victory sign once more.

AOC Says White Supremacy Must Be Defeated In Climate Change Battle

  Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) recently blathered on about climate change—as she is wont to do. At the Climate Crisis Summit in Des Moines, Iowa, she said: "The way we inoculate ourselves from continuing to burn up our planet at an unsustainable level, triggering feedback loops that we have not even begun to comprehend, is by honoring indigenous wisdom and allowing it to guide our climate policy. The way that we preserve our systems is by transitioning to principles of universality.”
             Feedback loops? AOC hasn’t even begun to comprehend the Froot Loops she ate this morning. We need to let indigenous wisdom guide our climate policy? Are we to bring back the rain-dance and pray to the Great Spirit? And what are the “principles of universality” to which she is referring? If they are not already ours, are they really universal?
            Canadian activist and “climate prophet” Naomi Klein spoke before AOC, referring to “two fires”: climate change and divisive conservative politicians like President Trump who divide America with “white supremacy.” The Prophet Klein stated: "Do we think it is a coincidence that these two fires are raging at the exact same time? And as these strongmen turn their populations against each other, that frees them up for the real business at hand which is pillaging the earth. We cannot win this fight without battling white supremacy.

            I liked Patsy Klein better.

Ocasio-Cortez continued, saying, “I want you clothed, I want you educated, I want you paid a living wage, no ifs, ands, or buts. And what that also means — and what Naomi talked about as well — is directly, consciously, combatting white supremacy in the United States of America.”  I want AOC clothed, too, but she was supposedly educated, and look how she turned out. She went on to disparage consultants who she said encouraged her to focus on technological solutions to the “climate crisis,” and avoid the social justice tie-ins, advice she summarily dismissed as wrong-headed.
AOC, like many progressives, possesses the uncanny ability to see “white supremacy” behind everything. Blaming conservatives for dividing the country and fomenting racial unrest is a preposterous reversal of reality. Leftists have been fanning the flames of racial, gender and class unrest for many years now. Parroting Geico, it’s what they do. In fact, the left accuses its political opponents of standing for—and doing—precisely what it itself stands for and does, often making it seem to rational people that they are living in some bizarre, illogical, alternate universe.
Whether speaking of Russian collusion, global warming, transgenderism, Socialism—or a host of other things—progressives prefer feelings over facts. Ironically, this is often truer the higher their “education” level. Unfortunately, due to their nearly total control of academia and the mainstream media, their B.S. in B.S. persuades far too many people.

Never in the course of human history have so many been so deluded by so few.

Acronyms And Emojis

                Acronyms and emojis are everywhere, unavoidable, ubiquitous in today’s fast-paced world of instant communication and gratification. Too hurried or lazy, we no longer take the time to spell out many words and phrases. I recently realized that, because of this, many of us can no longer spell them. There are so many acronyms out there that many are used by several different entities. “SPCA,” for example, is short for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and, probably, for the Society for People who Cherish Acronyms.
               Good progressive that I am, I believe federal government action is required to address this crisis. Therefore, I think Congress should propose a bill placing a limit on how, where-- and how frequently-- acronyms can be used. ASAP! IDK if the bill would pass. If it did, POTUS would probably veto it. IMO he’s got ADD, BEG. Or maybe ADHD, LOL! We are FUBAR, that’s for sure!
   BTW, have you heard about all the UFOs the USAF has supposedly seen lately? I think the CIA, FBI and NASA are trying to cover up these sightings.  It’s enough to drive a person to drink. Don’t want to piss off MADD, though. Even at my age, I might have to join AA before I join the AARP, J. Oh well, I just want to sip a beer, watch ESPN-- or something on PPV—and chill out. After all, YOLO, right? K.I.S.S. Who wants to be gripped by FOMO?
  As a SWM, the APA probably thinks I just want to hop in my SUV, grab my SIG Sauer and go harass members of the LGBTQ community. In truth, since my MD refused to prescribe meth for me, I’m in search of an OTC drug that has similar effects. Don’t know if there are any. Might be SOL.
  Oh well. WTF. Anyway, peeps, BFN.
