Mom Marries Daughter

                 A 43-year-old Oklahoma woman and her 25-year-old biological daughter are facing charges of incest after authorities learned the pair were legally married in Oklahoma last March. According to a police affidavit, officers learned about the marriage late last month during a child welfare investigation. (There’s a shock).

                Patricia Ann Spann and her daughter, Misty Velvet Dawn Spann (!), of Duncan, Oklahoma, are each being held on $10,000 bonds after making initial appearances in Stephens County district court. Patricia Spann told a state child services investigator that she had lost custody of three children, who were then adopted by their paternal grandmother, but reunited with her daughter (Misty Velvet Dawn) two years ago. She claims they “hit it off” and that she thought their marriage was okay because her name wasn’t on her daughter’s birth certificate, according to the affidavit.

                But wait, there’s more! Detectives later learned she had also previously married one of her sons. That 2008 marriage was annulled 15 months later.

                This whole, “marriage equality” thing is getting out of hand.

                What’s next, a poly-amorous incestuous marriage movement?

                Ironically, Oklahoma often gets branded by progressives as the home of right-wing, Christian fundamentalists. Yet, how easy is it to get married in that state? I mean, same sex, same last name, no red flags? Apparently blood tests and the like are no longer needed, but are there no parameters or restrictions?

                Perhaps we are in need of a new short-form that those seeking to be married must fill out prior to planning the ceremony.

                Question 1) Are your last names already the same?

            Question 2) If so, do you call your prospective marriage partner mommy or daddy, son or daughter?

                Question 3) Are you actually immediate family members?

                But I can already hear the ACLU and other leftist organizations bellowing “Love is love, let it be you crazy, right-wing, Christian oppressors! Aren’t you pro-choice when it comes to marriage?!”

Man Gives Birth To His Own Baby?

                 Breathless online reports recently touted the “first transgender couple to have their own child,” and used phrases such as “Man gives birth to his own baby.”         

                Creepy? Remarkable? A miracle? You be the judge.

                 Fernando Machado used to be a woman. Diane Rodriguez used to be a man. They met on social media a couple of years ago. They continued sharing pictures on Facebook. They started to date. Eventually they decided they wanted a child. Soon “Mr.” Machado was expecting.

                This was possible because neither of them had undergone “corrective” surgery. Ironic, no? The couple naturally posted a photo of their new son on Facebook, with the message: “Our son is not only a blessing, but he also promotes love.” Call me a skeptic, but I don’t think he is capable of “promoting” anything at this time. I’m sure he just wants “daddy” to breastfeed him.

                “Ms.” Rodriguez, who came into this world a male named Luis, stated: “We don’t have a name yet, or rather we do, we are just waiting to announce it.”

                “She” continued: “Being a mother was never something I thought I would do because I am a transsexual. The law before demanded that to be recognized as a woman you had to be castrated.” I’m sure that most men doubt that they will become mothers. Fortunately, that inane old archaic law that required a person to be female before being recognized as a woman has been repealed by the Obama administration. “Ms.” Rodriguez had the balls to take advantage of that fact while simultaneously siring a son. Might want to name him “Pat,” folks. Just in case.

                The couple claim that they “are the same as other families.” Right on! Whose dad doesn’t have a vagina, whose mom doesn’t sport a penis?!

                “Ms.” Rodriguez elaborated: “We live as man and woman. I’m a transfeminine woman and Fernando is a transmasculine man.”

                “Mr.” Machado said that when he discovered he was pregnant, he “started crying with happiness, fear and dread.” You know what they say: “you can take the woman out of your identity, but you can’t take the woman out of your physiological response.” Or something. He added: “I had never felt like that before. Wow, at last, I am completely happy.”

                Translation: a man and a woman had sex- and consequently had a baby.

                The twist is that the woman who birthed the child calls herself a man, and the man who fathered the child calls himself a woman. What progressive thinking and behavior this exhibits! How superior to the stodgy, old, traditional ideas about gender roles! I bow down before their remarkable inclusivity! I tremble when I contemplate their non-conformity!

                As a white, cis-normative male with a penis, I realize I am now outside of the mainstream. I can only beg for forgiveness.

                Or claim to be a woman.

Big City Mayors Apologize To Terrorists For Being Targeted

                   Incredibly, the mayors of three cities hit hard by Islamic terror- New York City, London and Paris- argued for bringing more unscreened refugees into their countries/cities in a recent New York Times Op-Ed piece as the U.N. Assembly met in New York last week. The joint Op-Ed was published just a day or two after the terror attacks in New York and Minnesota. It read thusly:

                 “Our shared perspective is informed by the sober awareness of the dangers we face. In the aftermath of an explosive device going off in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York last weekend, and other attacks in cities throughout the world, we recognize that the security of all our residents is paramount in large, open, democratic societies,” they wrote. “But it is wrong to characterize immigrant and refugee communities as radical and dangerous; in our experience, militant violence is vanishingly rare. Therefore, we must continue to pursue an inclusive approach to resettlement in order to combat the growing tide of xenophobic language around the globe. Such language will lead only to the increased marginalization of our immigrant communities, and without making us any safer.” In your experience “militant” violence is “vanishingly rare?” Each one of your cities has been attacked multiple times in recent years, with a combined death toll in the thousands! And your biggest concern is the “growing tide of xenophobic language around the globe?” If so, you are criminally insane!

                London’s Muslim mayor says terror attacks are simply “part and parcel of life in a big city.” I’m trying to recall, did Churchill state that “German bombing raids/v-bomb attacks are just part and parcel of life in a big city. We’ll just have to deal with them for the foreseeable future?”

                Prior to that, the French Prime Minister actually said that the French will “have to live with terrorism.” Easy for you to say. Tell that to all of your former citizens who are now dead, slaughtered by Islamic terror. And their families.

                Not to be outdone, John Kerry opined, “Remember this: No country is immune from terrorism. It's easy to terrorize. Government and law enforcement have to be correct 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But if you decide one day you're going to be a terrorist and you're willing to kill yourself, you can go out and kill some people. You can make some noise. Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn't cover it quite as much. People wouldn't know what's going on.” (Why should that pesky media cover terrorism and mass killings, John, even though they cover individual murders in every city around the country).

                Can anyone imagine FDR saying: “Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn’t cover the kamikaze attacks quite as much. People wouldn’t know what’s going on.”

                It’s always good for dictators if the “people don’t know what’s going on.” Most of the people don’t know what’s going on now, John, so why are you complaining? And the people who have some idea of what’s going on are being smeared as belonging to the “basket of intolerables,” and “clinging to their guns and religion.”

                But at least we have Minneapolis mayor Betsey Hodges wise words to fall back on:  “At this difficult moment, I also urge every Minneapolitan and every Minnesotan to support and stand firmly with our Muslim, East African, and Somali friends and neighbors. A horrible, violent attack like this should never be exploited to attack a whole community and a whole religion. Yet we have seen Islamophobia rear its ugly head in terrible moments like this far too many times — *and* at a moment when one person in particular is playing to fear and hatred of immigrants on a national scale, I fully understand the worry of the Somali community here that it will happen again.” This attack will be exploited to attack a whole community and a whole religion? She’s only worried that those who have been randomly attacked by Islamic extremists might “exploit” these attacks against them to cast aspersions on Muslims?! Are you bleeping kidding me?! Can anyone possibly imagine FDR saying, in December of 1941, “A horrible, violent attack like this should never be exploited to attack a whole nation and religion. Yet we have seen Shintophobia rear its ugly head in terrible moments like this far too many times!”

                We also had this helpful comment from Minnesota’s governor Mark Dayton: “I ask everyone in the St. Cloud area and throughout Minnesota to rise above this atrocity and act to make religious and racial tolerance one of the ways in which Minnesotans again lead our country.” Perhaps you should’ve directed that towards the Muslim community, Mark.

                Tolerance is literally going to kill us. Tolerance of evil, tolerance of the most abhorrent acts, tolerance of one’s own utterly unnecessary demise…these are not hallmarks of a healthy society, they are indicators of very real mental illness and extreme moral decay.

Walmart Store Refuses To Make Police-Themed Cake

                Walmart has apologized for refusing to make a police-themed cake for an officer’s retirement party. The police officer’s daughter went to a McDonough, Georgia Walmart recently and asked an employee at the store’s bakery for a cake with an American flag in black and white with a blue stripe added in. (The “thin blue line” design is a commonly used police officer emblem). But a bakery employee refused to make the cake, asserting that “the design could be perceived as racist and nobody feels comfortable decorating the cake.” Nobody?

                The officer’s daughter then asked for a simpler cake, one with a single blue line on a chocolate background, but the employee said she didn’t “feel comfortable” with that design either.

                Taylor Wilkes, a family friend and fellow Georgia police officer, criticized the store via a Facebook post, calling the store’s behavior “appalling.” “There is nothing racist about the symbolism behind the ‘thin blue line,’ yet people CHOOSE to make EVERYTHING about race,” Wilkes wrote. “I’m so tired of it.”

                You and me both, Taylor. You and me both.

                Andrew Breitbart famously- and brilliantly- said, “Politics is downstream from culture,” meaning that when our culture is defiled, degraded and deformed, our politics will be too. That truism is writ large in our two remaining presidential candidates.

                And in how we won’t decorate our cakes.

Washington High School Coach Fired For Praying

                Joe Kennedy was a high school football coach in the state of Washington. He lost his job after he refused to stop praying at midfield after football games. U.S. District Judge Ronald Leighton declined to issue a preliminary injunction that would have compelled the Bremerton School District to rehire him while his case is litigated.

                The former coach is suing the district, claiming they violated his religious rights. The coach was placed on administrative leave last year after he refused to stop his post-game ritual of taking a knee and praying at the 50-yard-line. After every game for the last eight years, Kennedy walked out to the 50-yard line, took a knee and offered a brief prayer. Eventually, over the years, students asked if they could participate, and he said they were free to do whatever they wanted.

                That changed last year when the school district launched an investigation and ordered the coach to cease and desist. He was prohibited from kneeling, bowing his head or doing anything that could possibly be seen as religious in nature.

                Ironically, the head coach at Washington State’s Garfield High School, Joey Thomas, recently  joined his entire team as they took a knee during the national anthem to protest America. No recriminations are forthcoming.

                 This is what it’s come to in Obama’s America: you can take a knee in protest, but not in prayer. 

Brown University To Stock Men's Bathrooms With Menstrual Products

                 That historic Ivy League stalwart, Brown University,  is in the vanguard in its response to the fundamental change the Obama Administration has brought to America’s bathrooms. Viet Nguyen, the school’s Undergraduate Council of Students President, recently announced that the august educational institution’s student body president and 20 other young scholars would be hand-delivering menstrual products to all nonresidential bathrooms on campus, including men’s rooms. According to Newsweek, Nguyen wants to get the message out that not all people who menstruate are women. Nguyen further stated, via a campus-wide email: “Feminine hygiene products are not a luxury. They’re as essential as toilet paper. There’s been a lot of conversation about why pads and tampons are a necessity, not a luxury, but not a lot of action. We wanted to take it into our own hands. Low income students struggle with having the necessary funding for food, let alone tampons.”

                According to Campusreform.org, Nguyen aims to “set a tone of trans-inclusivity, and not forget that they’re an important part of the population.” Yes, a vital 0.3 percent of the population. At most. And what percentage of those are women who identify as men? Are there even one in a thousand? Doubtful, as more than two-thirds of transgenders are men who claim to identify as women. Vastly more than one in a thousand Americans have digestive issues and intestinal disorders, but I don’t see any Tums dispensers or acid-reflux medication in public restrooms.

                As for the “Not all people who menstruate are women” bon mot, that is demonstrably untrue. Not all women menstruate, but everyone who menstruates is a woman, by definition. You know, “the cycle,” eggs, vagina, womb, etc. And “Feminine hygiene products are not a luxury?” I don’t know anyone who disagrees with that. But when “feminine” hygiene products are freely and anonymously dispensed in men’s bathrooms, that is an unnecessary squandering of funds that could be put to better use elsewhere.

                If not all of the people who menstruate are women, then, obviously, not all of those who inseminate women are men. And, if that is the case, if “men” are menstruating and “women” are impregnating them, language- and rationality- have no meaning and chaos will reign. There will not be a “new world order,” there will be no order at all. In a sense, nothing would matter.

The Clinton Foundation

                Former senior White House ethics officials have said a new Hillary Clinton administration would have to take careful steps to ensure that past foundation donors would not have the same access as she allowed at the State Department. Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon did not respond directly to the Associated Press’s questions recently about Clinton transition plans regarding ethics, but said in a statement Tuesday that the standard set by the Clinton Foundation's ethics restrictions was "unprecedented, even if it may never satisfy some critics." (Emphasis mine).

                In one sense, he may be correct. What is unprecedented is the Foundation’s lack of ethics restrictions.

                And its chutzpah.

China To Host World Dog Show In 2019?

                China is currently slated to host the World Dog Show in 2019.

                This is a country that slaughters roughly 10 million dogs each and every year, a nation with a truly appalling animal rights record.  Yet an international body representing Kennel Clubs in 90 countries is set to stage the event in Shanghai.

                It is a tradition in China to eat dogs. And trade in their meat. Incredibly, every year many dogs are deliberately boiled alive as part of that meat trade. Surely American progressives will see this as a quaint cultural trait, one that Americans must recognize as equally legitimate- if not actually superior to our own tradition of thinking about dogs as “man’s best friend.” Tolerance and inclusion! Tolerance and inclusion! No “invalidating!”

                The World Dog Show is considered by many to be the most prestigious international event for dog groomers and trainers to display their animals. It is organized by the Belgian group “Fédération Cynologique Internationale,” which is the largest canine organization in the world.

                Britain’s Kennel Club, for one, will not be attending the event.

                According to the mirror.co.uk, a petition calling for China to be stripped of the show has gained 550,000 signatures thus far.

                If your signature isn’t on that petition, please consider rectifying that with all due haste.

                It may well, figuratively speaking, be a dog-eat-dog world we live in. But it doesn’t literally have to be a man-eat-dog one.

Comedy Central Roast Turns Into Vicious Attack...On Roaster

                Comedy Central’s roasts of the famous have historically been filled with funny lines and bawdy references. “Zingers” are the order of the day. In the end, however, one can usually ascertain the respect- if not actual affection- for the person getting roasted…via the countenances of those roasting him or her. The recent Comedy Central roast of Rob Lowe was more of the same in some respects, but shockingly different in another.

                Many of those doing the roasting departed from lampooning Rob Lowe, he of the 1988 sex tape with a 16-year-old, to savage another roaster, the conservative commentator Ann Coulter. Some of these liberal elites apparently checked their tolerance and inclusivity at the proverbial door. To whit:

Nikki Glaser (?): “The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave.”

Peyton Manning: “I’m not the only athlete up here. As you know, earlier this year, Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby.”

Peter Davidson (SNL): “If you are here, Ann, who is scaring the crows away from our crops?”

                Odd, I thought joking about people’s looks- especially females- was against the welcoming liberal creed? Perhaps they don’t like her because she is attractive and brilliant. But let’s continue with the good humor, shall we?

Jeff Ross: “Ann is against gay marriage. What is your thinking on that? If I can’t get a husband, they can’t either?”

Jimmy Carr: “Ann is one of the most repugnant, hateful, hatchet-faced bitches alive. It’s not too late to change, Ann. You could kill yourself.”

Jewel: “I do want to say as a feminist that I can’t support everything that’s been said tonight. But as someone who hates Ann Coulter, I’m delighted.” (Hates!)

                These are people calling Ann names, using the vilest language against her and openly wishing she were dead. She was called a “c-nt” 19 times and a “racist c-nt” once. Davidson said, “Ann describes herself as a polemicist but most people call her a c-nt,” and then muttered “a racist c-nt” under his breath. Glaser called Coulter “a real-life super-villain.”

                Incredibly, after the “event” was over, media-types opined that Coulter was a poor sport who didn’t laugh heartily at the “jokes” directed against her.

                This was the most repugnant mob behavior imaginable- and true hate speech. These “roasters” were nothing more than piranhas smelling blood and going on a mindless rampage. Emphasis on mindless. And rampage. The left revels in the very behavior they so loudly decry. They are inclusive only of those who believe exactly what they believe, and are rabidly intolerant of anyone else. Of course, most of the vacuous celebrities attacking Coulter have no real understanding of history or current events…and couldn’t spell tolerance or civility if you spotted them the vowels.

                Replace “Ann Coulter” with “Barbra Streisand,” “Lena Dunham,” or “Hillary Clinton” in the above report. Or with “Nancy Pelosi,” “Ellen Degeneres,” or “Roseanne Barr,” for that matter. Go ahead, try it right now. Just change the names and then read it word for word.

                Unimaginable. The left would not be laughing. Those that didn’t lose consciousness or go into extended catatonic shock would be crying and/or demanding that the roasters be fined, imprisoned, deported or executed.

                It’s not just the stupefying hypocrisy. The leftist elitists in America today are truly some of the most vapid and pathetic, yet deeply vile and despicable people to have ever trod this planet.

                Historically, many Americans have enjoyed perusing the box-scores of their favorite sports, an activity that has been a morning ritual for millions. How did Colfax and Gibson pitch last night? Did “the Babe” hit another homer? How many points did Michael Jordan get against the Knicks? Could Gretzky have gotten another hat trick? How many yards did Gale Sayers run for? How many carries did Adrian Petersen get? What was Tom Brady’s completion percentage?

                This habit brings much real joy to many, yours truly included. It is-in and of itself- a national pastime. You see, sports is simultaneously important and an avenue of escape. It puts a value on achievement, greatness, desire, character, heart, teamwork and the work ethic. As well as on mental and physical toughness, much needed attributes today, ones rapidly on the wane in our society.

                Yet there are several dark shadows now hanging over the American sports scene, shadows beginning to diminish fan’s enjoyment of these games.  Many American athletes have somehow come to believe that an important part of their vocation is to express their feelings and “thoughts” about current events vis-à-vis perceived historical injustices, etc., particularly as regards the national anthem.

                This attitude has morphed into a meme and is being virulently spread across many sports- at nearly all levels. Recently, some high school athletes have refused to stand for the anthem, girl’s teams as well, of course, even on non-revenue generating squads.

                Soon, box-scores will read something like this:

Anthem: 43 stood, 4 sat, 3 knelt, 2 held middle fingers up, 1 had wiener hanging out

                The greatest call in the history of sport was, “Do you believe in miracles?!”

                The sad, but honest answer now has to be: “Not anymore.”

Hillary Clinton Lost Multiple Mobile Devices, Documents Show

                Hillary Clinton lost several mobile telephones during her tenure as Secretary of State, according to recently released FBI documents pertaining to her mishandling of classified information. These phones would’ve carried e-mails from her private server, likely including classified information.

                One report states, “Abedin and Hanley indicated the whereabouts of Clinton’s devices would frequently become unknown once she transitioned to a new device.” Frequently? Every garden-variety citizen I know of here in fly-over country either turns their old phone in for recycling upon purchase of a new one, or stores it in its original box, in a closet, pending some unforeseen emergency use.

                According to Breitbart.com, another report notes that Clinton is known to have used 11 smartphones while Secretary of State and two more thereafter. Investigators wanted all 13 of these mobile devices, but two had been destroyed and none of the others could be found! Documents show that a staffer destroyed Clinton’s old phones “by breaking them in half or hitting them with a hammer.” Nothing unusual about that. Personally, I pour acid on mine and then put them through a wood-shredder. Doesn’t mean she had any sensitive information- or anything to hide- on them!

                Concerns arose that Hillary may have left a trail of phones around the globe for hostile powers and foreign spies to hack, but the former head of the State said she never lost a cell phone while traveling abroad. Well, at least we put that fear to rest! Apparently then, whilst in the U.S., she lost more phones than a platoon’s worth of alcoholic traveling salesmen.

                Apart from mishandling information, “losing” thousands of e-mails, and being unable to pinpoint where her ad-hoc server was, she can’t even remember where a plethora of her former phones went. Good thing she isn’t tasked with carrying the nuclear briefcase.

                “Where’s the case, Hill? Where’s the briefcase??!!”

                “Well, I’m sure I had it earlier today. Let’s see, where is the last place I know I had it? Umm… Bulgaria?!”

CNN Blurs Out Trump Logo

                Still believe in an unbiased media? Sorry to shock you, but the mainstream media hates Republicans. This is odd, given the fact that many in the establishment wing of the G.O.P. are nearly as drunk with power and their own superiority as they are. RINOs run rampant in the formerly Grand Old Party, and they, too, are believers in big-government and free spending (“R.I.N.O.s” being Republicans In Name Only, for any low-information voters who may be reading this, as unlikely as that may be).

                Don’t pay attention to Big Media? Need more evidence? CNN Headline News recently made the decision to blur out the logo of a “Trump 2016” tee-shirt worn by an interviewee. Steven Eckel had recently broken a vehicle’s window and saved a baby that had been left alone in the steaming hot car. The network was understandably interviewing this heroic man, who happened to be wearing the Trump tee at the time. When they rebroadcast the interview, they blurred out the Trump logo, as if covering up genitalia.

                This wasn’t an episode of Naked and Afraid, this was supposedly hard news. How can we ever trust that what they are showing us is the simple, unbiased, unvarnished truth? They couldn’t countenance the fact that this unselfish hero might choose to wear a pro Trump shirt. And they sure as hell weren’t going to allow their viewers to see it.

                What’s next, are they going to project a #NeverTrump image onto the next person interviewed for valorous behavior? Or will they go the other direction and computer-generate “Trump 16” onto the clothing of people shown committing crimes?

                They say that truth is stranger than fiction. The mainstream media doesn’t want us to be able to tell them apart.

472 People Shot In Chicago In August

                At least 472 people were shot in Chicago during the month of August, 16 of them on August 31^st alone, according to the city’s police department. Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson blamed the proliferation of guns and lenient sentencing laws for the bloodbath. How are your city’s strict gun-control laws working out for you, Chicagoans?

                Superintendent Johnson stated that the police have confiscated nearly 6,000 guns so far this year. “We’re doing our part,” he claimed, noting that the total is “more than New York and L.A. combined,” and added “We’re arresting these guys.” That’s as may be, but your city’s homicide rate is also greater than New York’s and L.A.’s combined. I’m guessing most of the guns confiscated aren’t shotguns or hunting rifles and that- in any case- almost none of them were purchased legally, in Illinois or elsewhere. One more “guess”: the majority of those arrested were black. Am I right? Just more proof of police bias! Nothing else to see here, no need to ask questions or delve deeper! Better to have 472 people- a month- shot than risk hurting anyone’s feelings!

                Superintendent Johnson got closer to the actual problem when he further stated, “Where we are having problems is holding repeat gun offenders accountable for repeatedly committing these gun crimes. And until we fix that, we’re going to continue to see this cycle of violence that we see every day.”

                Precisely why are we having trouble holding those who repeatedly commit gun crimes accountable?! That is one of the key issues here. That shouldn’t be a problem at all. And disarming the law-abiding has only made the problem worse.

                We can take away the pencils, pens and keyboards that are causing so many misspelled words in our society, but that won’t solve the problem. We can arrest the spoons, forks and straws that are responsible for the plague of obesity that is shortening so many American’s lives… but they will still be overweight. Inanimate objects are- by definition- incapable of acting on their own. Nor can they recognize good or evil, pro or con.

                That can only be done by individual human beings.

                “Like is the new “the.” Like it or not. Consider the following sentence:

                “Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth, upon this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that ‘all men are created equal.’” Recognize it? Of course, it is the first line of Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. Let us imagine how that line might sound if it were spoken today:

                “Like, eighty-seven years ago our ancestors brought forth, upon this, like, continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty and, like, dedicated to, like, treating all people equally.”

                Now let’s add in the second distinctive feature of modern language usage and revisit the famous sentence:

                “Dudes: like, eighty-seven years ago our foredudes brought forth, upon this, like, continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty and, like, dedicated to, like, treating all dudes equally.”

                And now we insert the third prominent feature of today’s language usage:

                “Dudes: like, fu--ing eighty-seven years ago our fu--ing foredudes brought forth, upon this, like, fu--ing continent, a new fu--ing nation, conceived in mother-fu**ing liberty and, like, dedicated to, like, treating all dudes fu--ing equally.”

                Finally, let’s, like, look at the next line of the tall dude’s speech, okay? So, like, he goes…

                

"Hide It Hillary" Offensive, "Punch Trump" Okay, Apple Decides

                A new game called “Hide it Hillary” was originally denied access to Apple’s App Store because company officials said it “includes content that could be considered defamatory or mean-spirited.” Apple has allowed the obviously non-defamatory, anything-but-mean-spirited games called “Punch Trump,” “Slap Donald Trump,” and “Smack a Trump” access to the App Store marketplace.

                Heat Street- a conservative website- recently reported that “Hide it Hillary” does not condone violence or even feature the former secretary of state’s image. Players simply attempt to put documents into a “laptop, server, shredder, or closet,” according to the Washington Times. “Hide it Hillary” is now available on Google Play for Android devices.

                Independent game/app developers said getting approved with Google took less than one hour, while Apple’s denial came after an eight-hour wait. (The app was available for 99 cents at the iTunes store one day after the Heat Street report and has received many five-star reviews).

                “I absolutely believe there’s a double standard with Apple in the sense that they have defamatory and mean-spirited Trump games available for download but none for Hillary,” developers Ansem Omega Solutions told the site. “I can’t imagine we are the first developers to experience this type of bias. In fact, one of the main reasons we chose to develop a Hillary app is because there were no Hillary apps whatsoever in the store 6-months ago when we began developing.”

                        The Clintons have hidden- or attempted to- an almost inconceivable amount of information potentially damaging to them in the last 25 years or so, while playing fast and loose with information potentially damaging to their country. Yet a game (relatively gently) poking fun of them for it is banned by Apple?

                The left is always bleating on (and on and on and on…) about tolerance and inclusion, and decries physical violence above all things, but “Punch/Slap/Smack Trump” games are perfectly okay?

                What are they hiding? It certainly isn’t their hypocrisy.
                

Memo To Colin Kaepernick

                 Memo to Colin Kaepernick and the other mind-numbed, robotic, politically-correct, preprogrammed progressives in the vanguard of the NFL’s new artificially-intelligent pseudo-enlightened era: I am taking a knee, too. I am refusing to stand with you-or up for you. Moreover, I, too, am protesting the things I don’t currently like about this nation. I am protesting the “fundamental transformation” of the greatest nation the world has ever known.

                I am protesting Obamacare, which has dramatically driven healthcare costs up as it has reduced choices for those needing insurance. I am protesting President Obama’s Caesar-like disregard for representative democracy and republicanism. I am protesting the staggeringly rapid expansion of government regulation and the equally quick rise in entitlement spending. I will sit for the anthem because thousands upon thousands of people who wish to kill us and end our way of life are being allowed to come streaming across our border, encouraged, aided and abetted by the government that our flag represents. My conscience mandates that I take a knee as the “Star Spangled Banner” is played, because hundreds of thousands of innocent babies are killed in this country every year, and the party possessing executive power wants to ensure that taxpayer’s money- regardless of their beliefs-  goes to fund this continuing holocaust.

                I won’t stand and place my hand over my heart anymore because politicians in the U.S. have saddled our children and grandchildren with a debt so immense that, whether we choose to repay it or not, our economy is likely to be anemic- or much worse- for the foreseeable future. I will no longer even listen to the national anthem when played because every single tenet and value that made this country great is being mocked and attacked by radical Islamists, Black Lives Matter groups, Satanists, Hollywood, the mainstream media, Big Education, socialists and various other formerly fringe groups…with the full faith and support of almost every branch and offshoot of the United States government.

                Make sense, Colin and crew? Who is more aggrieved? I don’t make a fraction of your salaries, and white, Christian, working males are blamed for almost every ill imaginable.

                Standing for the anthem is supposed to be a sign of respect to those who have given their lives in defense of freedom and to the “pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.” If we can’t even all agree to do that, the time has come for us to part ways.

                You should take a knee, at times Colin.

                You ought to fall to your knees to give thanks in prayer for where you were born, that two white people adopted you as their own…and that you make $19 million a year for being a second string malcontent.

Refugees Suing Pennsylvania School District

                A group of immigrant refugees is suing a central Pennsylvania school district, saying the academy they were put in upon coming to America is not good enough.

                The six refugee students range in age from 17 to 21, and hail from Somalia, Sudan, Burma, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to Fox News. The six, represented by the Pennsylvania branch of the American Civil Liberties Union, are suing Lancaster schools in federal court, claiming that they were being denied access to a quality education.

                Officials for the school district say the six students were placed in the academy because it offers a special program geared towards their needs.

                “[The District] believes the lawsuit is without merit," Superintendent Damaris  Rau said in a statement. "We are confident we are doing an excellent job supporting our refugee students who often come to school with little or no education.”

                A special "acceleration program" at this academy was created for under-credited students, both refugee and non-refugee, which gives them the opportunity to earn credits toward a high school diploma by the age of 21, Rau said.  

                At this school, students receive the benefits of various opportunities… including remedial services, English classes for Second Language Learners, after school programs, and job and computer skills instruction, as well as mentoring services, Rau added.

                Immigrants used to be put on waiting lists, stand in long lines and be expected to know and recite various facts and minutia regarding American history in order to become citizens of the United States. They were grateful to be allowed to do so in an attempt to become Americans and simply- and only- be granted a chance to make something of themselves through hard work in a country where the government didn’t dictate the outcome of their existence.

                Today a selfish, repulsive, demeaning…and ultimately self-defeating…entitlement mentality prevails among many- if not most- of our immigrants.

                 To put this in perspective, can you imagine early American settlers, such as the much-maligned  Pilgrims and Puritans, suing Native Americans, claiming that they were not welcoming enough, and that life was too harsh here?

                One would think that refugees, by definition fleeing from war, poverty or oppression, would be incredibly grateful for the chance to come to a free and prosperous nation and be the recipients of free after school programs, job and computer skills instruction, mentoring services,  classroom instruction and an opportunity for a much better life.

                One would, apparently, be wrong.

Bakery Refuses To Make "Trump 2016" Cake

                Mckenzie Gill, a teenage girl from Bossier City, Louisiana, went to a local Albertsons grocery store to have a cake made for her upcoming 18^th birthday. Gill, a supporter of Donald Trump, asked the bakery’s employee to put an American flag and “Trump 2016” on the cake. Gill said the woman refused, stating that she could paste the flag, but not the “Trump 2016” message.

                Ms. Gill said in a Monday, September 5^th  Facebook post: “Just left Albertsons, the woman behind the cake counter just refused to make me a birthday cake because I wanted ‘Trump 2016’ on it…. Did that really just happen?” She told a local TV station the cake was for her 18th birthday, the theme of which is “Trump 2016.”

                “We [wanted] an American flag cake with Trump 2016 on it, and right when I said ‘Trump,’ like, the lady kinda just -- ‘Trump?’” the 17-year-old recalled. “She was like, ‘I definitely -- I mean I can make you a flag cake, but I’m not going to write Trump on it.’”

                An Albertsons spokesperson has since apologized to the Gill family, claiming the issue was a misunderstanding over company policy regarding “copyrighted phrases.”

                Now tell me the one about the three bears. “Copyrighted phrases?!” That’s preposterous. That’s a “non-truth” of nearly Clintonian proportions.

                In 2013, the owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa- an Oregon bakery- were fined $135,000 by the state’s Bureau of Labor and Industry due to their refusal to participate in a lesbian wedding ceremony. The owners cited their deeply-held Christian religious beliefs as the basis for that refusal.

                Then the state slapped a gag order on them, preventing them from even publicly discussing the matter. Doesn’t that take the cake? How is that even possible in America?

                Surely similar fines will be levied against this Albertson’s bakery? After all, they aren’t even a small, family-owned company. Fines of this nature won’t put Albertsons out of business. They are a larger corporation that can easily afford to pay for their insensitivity. And anyway, they have no excuse, as disdain for a Republican politician isn’t a religious issue.

                My mistake. To the progressive left, it is.

               

$2,700 For Kids To Ask Hillary Clinton A Question?

                 For a mere $2,700, a child under 16-years-old was allowed to ask Hillary Clinton a question at a recent fundraiser for the Clinton Foundation, the New York Times revealed. (In the 21^st paragraph of a Saturday, September 3^rd story).

                That’s right, if you were already a Foundation donor attending the swanky event held at the Sag Harbor, New York, estate of hedge fund magnate Adam Sender, and your child wanted to know, say, how Mrs. Clinton was going to protect her from the scourge of gun violence plaguing the Hamptons, all you had to do is cough up another 2.7 large and HC would do her best to answer.

                A family photo with Mrs. C could be had for only ten grand more, according to attendees!

                The article also stated that, at a recent dinner/fundraiser at the Beverly Hills mansion of entertainment mogul Haim Saban, the invitations made it quite clear that if attendees wished to dine and receive a photo with Hillary (and who wouldn’t?), they had to “Write not raise” $100,000.

                The front-runner in the presidential race, the standard bearer of the party of the poor and downtrodden, the under-represented and the underpaid, understandably believes that she can raise more money via private fund-raisers than she can utilizing town hall meetings or other public events involving the great unwashed. What’s more, her campaign knows that the hosts of these soirées will prevent any untoward questions and let the Shy One bask in the warm glow of affectionate embrace.

                “Lady” Lynn Forester de Rothschild, regular backer of Democrats and longtime Clinton ally, made certain attendees to the $100,000-per-couple lamb dinner she hosted for Hillary on the vast, manicured lawn of her oceanfront estate on Martha’s Vineyard did not ask any tough questions. “I said, ‘Let’s make it a nice night for her and show her our love,’” Lady de Rothschild allowed.

                Small wonder why Hillary could be seen “dancing” alongside Jimmy Buffet, Jon Bon Jovi and Paul McCartney at another recent tony affair. She even joined in on a sing-along to “Hey Jude,” reports say. The crowd included the likes of über-populists Harvey Weinstein and Calvin Klein.

                Mrs. Clinton raked in approximately $50 million at 22 fund-raising events in the last two weeks of August. That equates to about $150,000 an hour, even more than the federally-mandated minimum wage she has been touting.

                Hillary likes to talk about those who are “struggling and striving,” those “everyday Americans” she claims that Donald Trump is out of touch with. Yet she is clearly most at ease when in the midst of fellow millionaires. While Trump has been visiting flood-ravaged areas in Louisiana, attending black churches in Detroit, and meeting with regular Joes and joeys, Hillary is loathe to leave the coastal elite.

                At the recent dance-party/fund-raiser with the likes of Buffet, McCartney and Bon Jovi, Hillary declared: “I stand between you and the apocalypse.”

                The wealthy, hypocritical, “sex, drugs and rock’n’roll” types don’t need you to stand between them and catastrophe, Lady Clinton.

                And, to those who love (their) country, you are the apocalypse.

               

               

9/11 15-Years After: Reflections On A Nation Divided

                The owner of a Texas mattress store has apologized for a preposterously tasteless advertisement promoting a “9/11 anniversary sale.” The television ad starts out with a woman touting the “Twin Towers” sale. Then two men, astonished at the incredible deals, question her about the sale. She throws open her arms to attest to the magnitude of the sale, knocking both men backwards into two stacks of mattresses. She screams, hands to her mouth, as the two mattress towers fall to the ground. Then, she turns back and looks into the camera…a bizarre little smile discernible on her face…and states “We’ll never forget.”

                This wasn’t the only instance of appalling promotional judgment in advance of the 15-year “anniversary” of the worst one day enemy attack on American soil in the nation’s history.

                A Walmart store in Florida allowed a display of Coke cans stacked to look like the World trade Center to be constructed, replete with Coke Zero cans depicting the actual Ground Zero location.

                And, today, on the anniversary itself, September 11^th 2016, the National Football League season kicked off, amid controversy over a few of its players recently refusing to stand for the national anthem. The NFL  honored service men and women, first responders and the victims of September 11^th across the league today.

                Yet, the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins had other plans. The Seahawks stood and locked arms, coach Pete Carroll included, during the national anthem to show solidarity with those mistreated in this society. At the same time and across the field, four Miami Dolphin players took a knee for the anthem, popping up immediately upon its conclusion.

                Many Americans took time today to mourn those lost to Islamic terrorism, and to reflect on one of the most horrific days in the country’s history. Loved ones were remembered along with the heinous acts of terrorists. Ironically, prior to today’s games, the NFL broadcast messages from President Barack Obama and former president George W. Bush.

                In the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, America under “W” appeared more united than it had been in a very long time. Conversely, after nearly eight years of “the Great Divider,” the country is rapidly coming apart at its figurative seams. The country has more, deeper, darker and likely irreconcilable differences than at any time since the Civil War. Progressive extremists will not settle for anything less than all-out socialism, total moral relevancy, and the dissolution of the Constitution of the United States. Conservatives, Christians, traditionalists, and believers in a free market system with  limited government (kept that way by checks and balances) cannot possibly live with- or stand for- that outcome.

                That is “fundamental change” writ large.

                On top of everything else, the most popular sports league in the U.S. is becoming an oversize petri dish for social engineering and the putting forth of political statements. Millions of us love tuning in to the games each week to get away from the problems of the real world. Fantasy football is hugely popular and aptly named. And now the joy is being sucked out of even that aspect of our lives.

                As for racial “inequality,” 68% of players in the NFL are black, just less than 28% are white. Under 13% of the American populace is black. The average NFL salary is nearly $2 million a year.

                The median annual household income worldwide is under $10,000 a year.

               

               

London Has A New Green Light District

                Approximately 50 sets of traffic lights around London’s busy Trafalgar Square had their ‘walk’ and ‘green man’ images replaced with seven different same-sex and transgender symbols last June to coincide with- and show support for-  an annual Gay Pride festival. Transport for London’s gesture of good will to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and ‘trans diversity’ crowd in England’s capital was supposed to be a temporary measure, but the symbols are still in use, and are confusing to some day-trippers and tourists according to Britain’s express.co.uk.

                The solitary ‘green man,’ who has been featured on UK traffic lights since 1969, has now been joined by a male partner or replaced with two green women holding hands.  Other lights feature pairs of female and male gender symbols, or a transgender symbol (which combines elements of both sexes). Some pedestrians have complained that they no longer know which way to turn while crossing the central London streets, and if you look at the transgender symbol in particular, you can’t blame them, as it is essentially a series of arrows pointing in different directions. But, maybe they will all eventually “see the light.”

            Mr. Smith, a father of two from Preston, Lancashire, said: “When the light went green I saw the two female symbols and I thought, ‘Oh right, so my missus can cross with my little girl but what do me and the boy do?’” 

                I imagine Mr. Smith continuing: “Then my son asked me, ‘Dad, what am I supposed to do?’ and I told him… just don’t go straight son. Just don’t go straight.”

             This forever changes the way I’ll think of the phrase “out like a light.”

                                                                         

 

Mascot Mania At Rutgers University

                 In the spring of 2015, the student government at Rutgers University approved a resolution calling for the creation of more “diverse mascots” at the school, arguing that the current Scarlet Knight mascot is too white and too male to represent the student body. The resolution stipulated that the current mascot should be joined by several “additional” Scarlet Knights who are black, Hispanic, female or third-gender. Perhaps the “Ebony Knight,” the “Brown Knight,” the “Knight-ette,” and the “Knight of Indeterminate/All/No/Some Other/Some Others Gender” could take the field with the Scarlet Knight, thereby terrorizing- or at least confusing the hell out of- the opposing squad.

                But why stop there? Rutgers could be at the forefront of mascot and societal evolution, boasting of both a “Good Knight” and a “Bad Knight.” That would be inclusive. Moreover, they could have their existing “Scarlet Knight” and add a “Scarlet Day” so the school appears welcoming to fans of darkness and of light- and to very poor spellers.

                And why not a “Silent Knight” in support of those who are mute?

                But this is surely just the start of the coming mascot diversity. Ohio State Buckeyes? Why not “Doe-eyes?” or “No-eyes?” Oklahoma Sooners? Why not add the “Laters?” In 2016, are we really to be openly prejudiced against those who may procrastinate a little? What’s the rush? Too many rush…to judgment! Let’s be more inclusive of those that don’t care to join the capitalist rat race or oppress the native peoples by stealing their land!

                There are so many opportunities for inclusion and the redress of grievances amongst college athletic mascots! For another example, the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany’s teams are called the “Great Danes.” Would it not be more inclusive to add a “Not-Particularly-Good Danes” mascot to the mix, or at least a “Great Peoples Not from Denmark” mascot?

                Lock Haven University’s squads are called the “Bald Eagles.” This is intolerably insensitive. They need to add a “Fully-Feathered Eagle” mascot and change the name of their existing one to “Follicly-Challenged Raptors” immediately.

                And the South Carolina Gamecocks? How about the Gamehens or the Gameclitorises? This would help counteract the Patriarchal imbalance inherent in the American system of naming amateur athletic teams.

                There are several colleges with a “Bulldog” for a mascot. Think how much more inclusive- and representative of the student body- it would be if they added a “Bulldyke” mascot in the interest of diversity!

Rutgers University And The Sound Of Silence

                Rutgers University published a guide to preventing “bias incidents” in which it warned students that the very idea of free speech is a lie. There is a page in the guide, dedicated to the school’s “Bias Prevention & Education Committee,” stating, “There is no such thing as ‘free’ speech. All speech has a cost and consequences.”

                The school has since backed off on that statement, but is racing full speed ahead in its attempt to get students to “think before you speak” and therefore reduce the occurrence of “microaggressions.” As part of this effort, Rutgers has instituted a “language matters” campaign consisting, in part, of 60-90 minute workshops examining how “negatively charged words…create a damaging environment for all of society.” Presenters at the workshops seek “to demonstrate how microaggressions hinder our ability to have a diverse and inclusive society/community.”

                These heinous microaggressions are often unintentional and can be “nonverbal” or even “environmental,” according to the university. (I’m sure it’s a microaggression if you accidentally, quietly drop your empty Aquafina bottle into the garbage rather than a recycle bin).

                Rutgers is heroically attempting to eradicate other egregious behaviors, as well, including microinsults, microinvalidations and microassaults. Pray tell, what are these you ask? Telling someone they are strong “for a girl,” would be an example of a microinsult. Asking a person of color where they are from would be a classic case of microinvalidation. The school claims that “avoiding someone” qualifies as a microassault. Avoiding someone is an assault??!

                Avoiding someone is essentially the opposite of assaulting them. Avoidance and assault are virtually antonyms. Would you rather have someone avoid you or assault you?

Trigger Warning: Some may be offended by the following statement. Please seek out the closest available safe space, preferably one containing puppies. Grab some play-dough and a warm cookie, and put on a Barbara Streisand song.

                When we’ve reached the point where we deliberately conflate these two concepts at our “institutions of higher learning” because we value diversity and inclusion over the truth, real learning, work ethic and integrity, it is (past) time to pull the plug on them.
