Bloomberg is planning to spend more than $200 million on a <a href="https://amgreatness.com/2024/03/13/bloombergs-organization-to-fund-200m-climate-initiative/">global warming initiative</a> purportedly seeking to reduce the
carbon emissions of major cities across the fruited plain. According to <i>Axios</i>,
the funds will come from Bloomberg Philanthropies, the charitable organization
Bloomberg founded. Memo to Michael: maybe work on getting Beijing, Wuhan,
Mumbai, and Moscow to reduce their emissions first.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">According to <i>American Greatness</i>,
“T<span style="color: #374151;">he program, formally known as the Bloomberg
American Sustainable Cities (BASC), will provide the mayors with the funding
and resources needed to gain access to expertise and further funding from the
federal government, through such laws as the Inflation Reduction Act.”<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="color: #374151;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">The program will provide
“the funding” needed to gain access to “further funding”…from the federal
government?!” I have a question: will the funding provided to gain access to
further funding be more than the amount of further funding? If so, is this
particularly efficient? If not, couldn’t they have just decided on the total
amount of funding “necessary” without funding the effort to gain that funding?<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="color: #374151;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">I have another question:
what the hell is wrong with our government, leaders, and charitable
organizations?!<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #374151;">And further funding from
the feds will come via the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)? Yeah right, nothing
relieves inflation like more spending!</span>
<span style="color: #374151;">Spending $1.7 trillion in a purported attempt to
reduce inflation is absurd. It is patently nonsensical. It’s like producing
millions more gallons of vodka to reduce the number of alcoholics. (Or, conversely,
like drastically cutting the number of police officers in order to reduce the
crime rate. Oh wait, we actually have done that, too.)<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

to findings of a study published in <i>Perspectives on Psychological
Science</i> (love the monthly centerfolds!), certain psychological
differences between men and women remain regardless of living standards. Knock
me over with a feather! The intrepid researchers showed that, while some
differences increase if living standards improve, others may decrease, and vice
versa. They say that, in any case, we should expect distinct differences
between the sexes</span><span style="color: #2b2b2b;"> to </span><a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/distinct-sex-differences-persist-in-countries-with-higher-standards-of-living-finds-study/ar-AA1mEJvQ">persist</a><span style="color: #2b2b2b;">. Yes, just as physical
differences among the sexes persist, regardless of living standards. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="color: #2b2b2b;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">I hope the study didn’t
cost a lot of money. I could have told them what the results would be before it
started. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="color: #2b2b2b;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Men and women are
different…and remain so regardless of living standards, economic conditions, or
environmental factors. It should not take a rocket scientist—or a
“researcher”-- to know this. Just as a German Shepherd remains a German
Shepherd, whether it resides in Germany, the United States, Haiti, or Albania.
And is the same sex in all of these locations, regardless of living
conditions-- or anything else.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

U.S. Military Academy, the Army’s legendary college located at West Point, has
recently changed its </span><a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/west-point-s-mission-statement-change-sparks-fury/ar-BB1jSEOW"><span style="background: white;">mission statement</span></a><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;"> by
dropping the words "Duty, Honor, Country,"<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Those
previously iconic words are being replaced in the mission statement with “Army
Values,” an amorphous, non-specific term that could mean almost anything…or
nothing. But you can be sure dropping “Duty, Honor, Country” means something.
And it is not good…for the Army, the country, or potential recruits.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">The
Army should’ve gone farther and been more honest…by replacing “Duty, Honor,
Country” in its mission statement <i>and</i> as its motto.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">“Diversity, Equity, Inclusion” would
be a perfect fit.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">The direction the U.S. military has
gone under President’s Obama and Biden will surely lead to…”Chaos,
Embarrassment, Defeat.”</span><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>agatehunter1094http://www.blogger.com/profile/14069171947780207265noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7775779424744134655.post-13912583921492494472024-03-14T22:23:00.003-05:002024-03-14T22:23:52.590-05:00PETA Pressures White House To Replace Eggs With Potatoes This Easter<p> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Reports indicate that <span style="background: white; color: #222222;">People
for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is pressuring First Lady Jill Biden
to forego eggs this Easter and instead use “</span><a href="https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/peta-pressures-jill-biden-switch-eggs-potatoes-annual/"><span style="background: white;">dyed Easter potatoes</span></a><span style="background: white; color: #222222;">” for
the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll event. That idea is half-baked, at
best. A spud is scarcely a substitute for an egg.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Easter eggs have
historically been seen as a symbol of fertility and the rebirth of nature after
the long winter. Potatoes are a symbol of…Russia. Or modern fast-food culture.
Not the same. Who’s ever heard of an Easter <i>potato</i> coloring kit? The
outside of a potato is porous, uneven, and possesses eyes. And is typically
much darker than the white shell of an egg.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Potatoes don’t
work nearly as well as eggs for constructing idioms, either. Nobody ever said,
“don’t put all your potatoes in one basket,” for example.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">If Jill Biden and
the White House give in to PETA’s demand, I hope they end up with potato on
their faces. (See?)<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Potatoes and eggs
can be good <i>together</i>, however. On our breakfast plates. An omelette and
a side of hash browns. Yum!<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Now, about the
Easter <i>bunny</i>…</span><o:p></o:p></p>agatehunter1094http://www.blogger.com/profile/14069171947780207265noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7775779424744134655.post-9435094993242946972024-03-13T22:28:00.002-05:002024-03-13T22:28:34.430-05:00Study Says U.S. Textbooks Incorrectly Portray Sex, Gender<p> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">This just in: men and women are <i>not</i>
different. (Okay, “experts” have been trying to get us to believe that for some
time now, but it still seemed fun to write.) While a <span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">recent
study did not explicitly say <i>that</i>, one published in the journal “Science”
claims that many textbooks used in U.S. classrooms don’t properly distinguish
between </span><a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/us-biology-textbooks-promoting-misguided-assumptions-on-sex-and-gender/ar-BB1iJ6gO"><span style="background: white;">sex and gender</span></a><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">, which
are, apparently, considered two very different things by modern science.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">The textbooks were taken to task because they
didn’t allow for the unimaginably vast number of genders now considered to be
extant—and on a continuum. (A very long continuum indeed!) The study avers that
the archaic belief in fewer than an unlimited number of genders</span> <i>c</i><i><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">ontradicts
scientific understanding</span></i><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">……thus proving that science isn’t what it used
to be. And probably never was. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">The scientists/experts say that, just because a
person has male genitalia, we must not assume that that person is male, and if
a person has female body parts/genitalia, e.g. a vagina, we shouldn’t
arbitrarily assume that person is female. </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Assumptions?! If we can’t assume that
females are girls and males are boys…we are in real trouble as a society and a
species. If men and women aren’t different—and the concepts of sex and gender are
not even knowable, we may as well start closing up shop now. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Why
stop at expunging musty old notions of sex and gender from our nation’s
textbooks? Let’s look at what other “misguided assumptions” they may be
promoting. The Earth is round? The Holocaust was bad? Lincoln was assassinated?
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">What the hell?! If we can’t assume
water is wet or fire hot…we as a species will eventually go the way of the
passenger pigeon…which were, by-the-way, hunted to extinction. They did not
lose their ability to differentiate males from females nor decide that gender
is a vast spectrum largely determined by one’s environment. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">If we can’t say men and women are
different, and possess unique and complimentary body parts, if we can’t state
the truth, we are engaging in tortured fantasy. And sacrilege. We will have
failed God and nature…and ultimately ourselves. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"> </span></o:p></p>agatehunter1094http://www.blogger.com/profile/14069171947780207265noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7775779424744134655.post-91813375342276534942024-03-12T22:15:00.002-05:002024-03-12T22:15:43.679-05:00California To Help "Undocumented Immigrants" Purchase Homes?<p> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">California
Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula has introduced Assembly Bill 1840, aimed at
expanding homeownership opportunities for “</span><a href="https://www.foxla.com/news/new-california-bill-would-make-illegal-immigrants-eligible-for-first-time-homebuyer-loans"><span style="background: white;">undocumented
immigrants</span></a><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">” in the state. The bill would make illegal aliens
eligible for first time homebuyer loans. The bill, as originally introduced
earlier this year, was aimed at low and middle-income <i>citizens</i>, but
Arambula apparently decided that was too exclusive, and therefore recently proposed
his updated version. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">This is
yet another kick in the shorts to citizens, especially since the formerly Golden
State has the highest priced housing—and by far the most homeless people—in the
nation. </span><span style="background: white; color: black;">California is already the only state to fund comprehensive
health care for undocumented immigrants. And it has a stupefying projected
budget deficit of </span><a href="https://calmatters.org/politics/capitol/2024/02/california-budget-deficit-balloons/"><span style="background: white;">$73 billion</span></a><span style="background: white; color: black;"> with an
average personal debt of $84,730…which “undocumented immigrants” undoubtedly
will not have to pay. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: black;">Illegal
migrants pouring across our southern border have allegedly been handed </span><a href="https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/arizona-sheriff-illegal-immigrants-being-handed-5000-visa-gift-cards-5542504"><span style="background: white;">credit cards</span></a><span style="background: white; color: black;"> and cell
phones. In some cases, they are being put up in very nice </span><a href="https://nypost.com/2022/08/25/nyc-now-using-14-hotels-to-house-migrants-amid-ongoing-surge/"><span style="background: white;">hotels</span></a><span style="background: white; color: black;">. Moreover,
residents in places like New York City have been asked to take these immigrants
into </span><a href="https://www.newsnationnow.com/us-news/immigration/nyc-mayor-pitches-paying-residents-to-house-migrants/"><span style="background: white;">their own homes</span></a><span style="background: white; color: black;">. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: black;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">On top of
all this, countless billions of taxpayer dollars have been sent to fund the war
in Ukraine. Because, you know, Democrats believe the <i>Ukrainian</i> border is
inviolate!<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: black;">It is
time for all sane citizens to admit that </span>Replacement
Theory is obviously, self-evidently, true. The current administration welcomes
illegals in, despite or <i>because</i> of the effect it has on you and I. It
will put illegals up at The Ritz or ask us to house them ourselves. “Mi casa es
su casa.” <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Or perhaps, if the latest version of
bill 1840 passes, they can purchase your home if you can no longer afford it. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">I don’t know about you, but <i>I </i>am
sick and tired of hearing about “undocumented immigrants.” What about <i>unappreciated
citizens</i>?!<span style="background: white; color: black;"><o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">If these latest actions by Democrats
don’t bring home the fact that they prefer illegal aliens over American
citizens, nothing will. <span style="background: white; color: black;">It is
mindboggling to me that Joe and Joanne Citizen, the “deplorables” in flyover
country, the rubes supposedly clinging to their God and their guns, haven’t thrown
more of a fit over being used like doormats by elected elites who obviously much
prefer peoples from other lands. It is long past time “We the People,” actual
taxpaying American citizens, stand up and say, “</span><a href="https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=we%27re%20just%20as%20mad%20as%20hell%20and%20we%27re%20not%20going%20to%20take%20it%20anymore&mid=A50A7562780D5B474632A50A7562780D5B474632&ajaxhist=0"><span style="background: white;">We’re as mad as hell</span></a><span style="background: white; color: black;">…<i>and
we’re not going to take this anymore</i>!” </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;"><span style="color: #c00000;"><o:p><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"> </span></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">This just happened again when, during a recent presser, “U.S. Special

Russia took in an unprovoked illegal war against another nation, we have not
been engaged in discussions with Russia, sadly. I say sadly because it’s a loss
for the world not to be able to have Russia acting constructively on this
issue. But we need every country, including Russia. Russia is one of the

guess.” <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="color: black;">What about the
greenhouse—and other-- gases released in the war? Or the potential for a

if Russia committed to using low-emission missiles and recyclable ammo?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Speaking of the Holocaust, if Hitler

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Kerry recently announced he is

Mary Kunesh and Democratic Minnesota Rep. Aisha Gomez have put forth a bill
that would give state-owned portions of the 155,000-acre <a href="https://www.dl-online.com/news/local/becker-county-opposes-vows-to-fight-white-earth-forest-transfer">White
Earth State Forest</a> “back” to the White Earth Band of Ojibwe by 2029. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Kunesh stated: “This is an
acknowledgement of White Earth Nation’s sovereignty and their inherent right to
manage their lands as best they see fit.” That’s as may be, but
died-in-the-wool liberals like Kunesh and Gomez do not like it when others,
such as western ranchers or straight white suburban males, manage <i>their</i>
lands as best <i>they</i> see fit. Odd.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Progressive Democrats in the
Minnesota state legislature don’t live in the White Earth State Forest, so they
don’t give a flying tomahawk what happens to it. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Though also “stolen land,” these
virtue-signaling hypocrites never offer to give back, say, 5th and
Hennepin, Loring Park…or the mansion-besotted soil surrounding Lake of the
Isles, for example. I’m sure it’s just coincidence that <i>they</i> happen to
live and play on these grounds. Right? <o:p></o:p></span></p>

Speaker Nancy Pelosi violated the Constitution by permitting the mass absentee

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">But,
hey, that’s kind of Democrats’ thing, right? It shouldn’t be surprising. They

Maddow appeared incredulous that <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/msnbc-anchors-mock-virginia-voters-for-calling-immigration-their-top-issue-and-laugh-over-concerns-with-flood-of-migrants-into-us/ar-BB1jpiop?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=LCTS&cvid=6a8f70a3a7c74594a5b6ac52282f19c6&ei=19">Virginia voters</a> are concerned about illegal
immigration and would like to see our borders secured. The diverse all-woman
panel yucked it up over the backwardness of the rubes of Old Dominion. Maddow
noted that Virginia <i>does</i> share a border with <i>West Virginia</i>,
however, and intimated that perhaps the voters should be more concerned with
keeping the deplorable yahoos in <i>that</i> state from entering Virginia. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">This was a remarkably repulsive—and
public-- display of disdain for average Americans, even for the likes of MSNBC.
Especially considering that illegal immigration now ranks as the number one
concern among Americans overall, for several excellent reasons—expense, crime
and human and drug trafficking among them. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">It is hard to imagine a group of
alleged “journalists” being more out of touch. Given the tone of conversation,
it wouldn’t have been surprising to hear Maddow or one of her associates
exclaim, “<span class="MsoHyperlink">Let them eat cake!” (Or </span><a href="https://twitter.com/markeatsmeat/status/1762285626282426546">cereal</a><span class="MsoHyperlink">.)<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

that the <span style="background: white; color: black;">National Science Foundation
has been involved in a taxpayer-funded scheme to shape and censor online
speech. If true, this would be a clear infringement of citizens’ First Amendment
rights under the Constitution’s Bill of Rights.</span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: black;">According
to </span><a href="https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/dr-malone-congress-uncovers-massive-taxpayer-funded-scheme-to-censor-online-speech/"><span style="background: white;">lifesitenews.com</span></a><span style="background: white; color: black;">:<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;"><i><span style="background: white; color: black;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">In the name of combatting alleged misinformation
regarding COVID-19 and the 2020 election, NSF has been issuing
multi-million-dollar grants to university and non-profit research teams. The
purpose of these taxpayer-funded projects is to develop AI-powered censorship
and propaganda tools that can be used by governments and Big Tech to shape
public opinion by restricting certain viewpoints or promoting others.<o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: black;">The NSF
has also allegedly been trying to hide this fact from the media to avoid
political scrutiny and accountability. Should this really be the purview of the National Science Foundation?</span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">This is <i>worse</i> than taxation
without representation. It is taxation intended to strip us of our God-given
liberties! Sadly, our tax money is used against many of us routinely now. Union
dues often go to fund causes—and candidates-- many members detest. The
government also finds ways to use taxpayer money to lobby for gun control. It
is well more than ironic that we are effectively made to spend our own money to
rob ourselves of the right to speak and assemble freely-- and defend ourselves.
And, if the government can essentially repeal those rights, there is clearly no
right they intend to leave intact. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Saddest of all, “We the <i>Sheeple</i>
of the United States” don’t seem to care all that much anymore. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

plain meaning of words.”</i>—Samuel Adams<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"> </span></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">How spot on was Sammy with<i> that</i>
statement?!<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">In later years, George Orwell brilliantly
illustrated this truism via books such as “Animal Farm” and “1984.” And today, the
left, whether it be in academia, media, or politics—but I repeat myself—ceaselessly
attempts to transform those iconic books from “fiction” to non-fiction. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">The tyrants comprising the Biden
administration, for example, tell us that abortion is actually “women’s health
care,” concerned parents are “domestic terrorists,” weather is “climate
change,” and men in drag are “trans <i>women</i>.” Etc., etc., ad nauseum. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Today’s so-called “liberals” and “progressives,”
two other terms whose plain meaning has been perverted, also endlessly inform
us that unborn babies are somehow only “non-viable tissue masses,” and that silencing
and/or jailing their political opponents is actually an attempt to “save
democracy.” What’s more, they aver, any and all opinion, information, data, or
facts that don’t support their narrative are “misinformation” or
“disinformation.” Similarly, they claim that everyone that disagrees with them
on any issue is an “extremist,” “fascist,” or member of some other super-scary
“far-right” group. Many also refer to moms and dads as “birthing parents” and eschew
the use of the words male and female. These same non-viable-brain possessors may
even refer to God as “sky daddy.” <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">And just when one might think they
can’t possibly outdo themselves, the Biden administration may soon start
calling <s>illegal aliens</s> undocumented migrants “<a href="https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2024/03/biden_administration_has_new_term_for_illegal_aliens.html">newcomers</a>.”
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">If Americans are to ever reclaim
their freedoms and get the perverted tyrants out of the White House, they will
need to see to it that newcomers are ushered in on Nov. 5th. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"> </span></o:p></p>agatehunter1094http://www.blogger.com/profile/14069171947780207265noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7775779424744134655.post-18373865022254974252024-03-05T22:26:00.001-06:002024-03-05T22:26:57.088-06:00Corruption And Redemption: America On The Precipice<p> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">A corrupt people
will not long remain free. Period. That is something the founders knew in their
bones. Yet I fear we have forgotten that lesson. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">A corrupt people
will not long remain free. That is a simple truism. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Here are a couple Merriam-Webster
definitions of corrupt: <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">1) a: <i>morally degenerate and
perverted: depraved<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">b: <i>characterized by improper
conduct (such as bribery or the selling of favors)</i><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">3) <i>adulterated or debased by
change from an original or correct condition<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Few honest folks
would fail to admit that our society’s morals have declined in recent years, or
that the amount of “improper conduct” has increased. Without question, our
behavior has been adulterated and debased by change. Look at the content of
television shows circa say, the 1970s or 1980s versus today. When one went out
to dinner, or even a nightclub or tavern 50 years ago it was extremely rare to
hear those next to you using using “F-bombs.” Today, nearly everyone uses them
on a constant—and loud—basis, young girls included. In some places the word
appears as ubiquitous as “the,” “and,” or “you.” Look at pictures of people
attending sporting events in the 40s, 50s, or 60s and compare them to today. Coats,
ties, dresses, and hats were the norm back then, whereas anything goes today. Tats,
piercings, and sweatpants predominate in many cases. And that is just
scratching the surface. We all are aware of the increase in crime, drug use,
and attendant homelessness. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">And now we have a
corrupt <i>government</i>, one that does not value the personal liberty of its
citizens; that, in fact, disdains it and sees it as a threat. Those in the
current government and its various institutions fervently wish to tame us-- and
eventually effectively enslave us. They make it abundantly clear, in every way
possible, that they much prefer the illegal immigrants pouring across our
border in an incessant, unbroken torrent. Easier to bribe, mold, and coerce you
see. And secure their votes. Those in that government do everything possible to
suppress, cancel, or imprison their political opponents—and their supporters-- all
the while proclaiming they are doing so to “preserve our democracy.” <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">The ”fundamental
change” that the Obama Era ushered in has, of course, led to fundamental change
in what many of us value-- and how we see the country…and what it represents. Nearly
everyone notices that there is a very different feel from, say, 1985. I would
posit that, in many ways, that change <i>has</i> adulterated and debased us.
Confidence, buoyancy and optimism have largely been displaced by ennui, doubt,
angst, and a jaundiced pessimism. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">We have been here
before, however, and lived to tell of it. So there is still some hope. In 1979,
President Carter talked of the “erosion of confidence” afflicting the nation. Around
the same time, Ronald Reagan stated: “Recession is when your neighbor loses his
job. Depression is when you lose yours. And recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses
his.” <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">If President Biden
loses his job on or about November 5, 2024, perhaps America will recover once
again. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;"><o:p><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"> </span></o:p></p>agatehunter1094http://www.blogger.com/profile/14069171947780207265noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7775779424744134655.post-13864913169818778672024-03-04T22:35:00.001-06:002024-03-04T22:35:27.365-06:00Biden Administration Has New Term For Illegal Aliens<p> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">The
Biden administration, always on the lookout for a new euphemism to make its
policies and opinions seem less repugnant, has come up with a new one for those
streaming across our southern border illegally. <span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">The </span><a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/biden-faces-fury-over-new-politically-correct-phrase-for-migrants/ss-BB1j7EWa"><span style="background: white;">politically correct
term</span></a><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;"> appeared on an obscure “fact sheet” on the White House
website prior to President Biden's long overdue <s>run</s> saunter to the border.
</span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">The
term, you ask? “<i><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">Newcomers</span></i><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">.” Scout’s honor. “Newcomers.”<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">To recap, we’ve gone from the factually correct</span> “illegal aliens” to “undocumented
migrants” to “newcomers” in a few short years. Stupefying. What will they be in
another couple of years, “trailblazers?” “Trusted travelers?” Perhaps even “beloved
saviors?” <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">If
gaslighting was an Olympic sport, the Biden administration would win the gold
every time. And the silver and bronze, as well.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">What
a bunch of bullshit. And <i>that’s</i> not a euphemism. </span><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>agatehunter1094http://www.blogger.com/profile/14069171947780207265noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7775779424744134655.post-28908972483293721712024-03-03T23:25:00.000-06:002024-03-03T23:25:07.659-06:00Swing State Poll Purports To Find Voters Think Biden Too Old, Trump Too Dangerous <p> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">A <span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll of

more than 1,000 respondents said Biden was </span><a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/biden-is-too-old-but-trump-is-dangerous-swing-state-poll-shows/ar-BB1j6akK"><span style="background: white;">too old</span></a></span><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">, compared
to only 34% who said Trump was. On the other hand, fully 45% of those surveyed said
Trump was “dangerous,” while only 38% said the same of Biden. </span><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">Trump
more “dangerous” than Biden? Insanity. There is far more crime today than when
Trump was in office. More gang-related flash-grabs, more car jackings, more
retail theft, etc. There are </span>100,000
fentanyl deaths a year in America. And much of this is due to our wide-open
southern border and Biden’s steadfast refusal to do anything to secure it. As
with everything else, the day Biden took office he was determined to roll back,
repeal, or otherwise eviscerate Trump’s successful border policies and cease
construction on a border wall. Hello, human/child/sex trafficking. And let’s
not forget about the two <i>wars</i> that are raging now that did not exist
when Trump was president. Many believe there may well be more to come. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">And <i>Trump</i> is dangerous?! More
dangerous than Biden? WTH?! What sentient being could think that? (Even Biden’s
<i>dog</i>, Commander, was dangerous. In fact, he bit multiple Secret Service
agents before Biden reluctantly shipped him out of Washington.) We had much
safer streets and cities here at home…and a much safer, calmer <i>planet</i>
when Trump was Commander-in-Chief. Hell, Biden, in addition to being dangerous
to everyone else, is a danger to <i>himself</i>! His every attempt to climb
stairs, ride a bike, or get off a stage is fraught with grave peril.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">The poll respondents should have
acknowledged that Biden is too old <i>and </i>dangerous. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">If you don’t believe me, just ask a

Joe Biden recently announced plans to implement a </span><a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/biden-says-us-military-to-airdrop-food-and-supplies-into-gaza/ar-BB1jcA3Q"><span style="background: white;">military airdrop</span></a><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;"> of
food and supplies into Gaza.</span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Say it ain’t so, Joe. Is the United
States aiding both sides in that conflict now? <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Here’s what Biden did say: <span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">"The loss of life is heartbreaking.
People are so desperate that innocent people got caught in a terrible war
unable to feed their families, and you saw the response when they tried to get
aid in. And we need to do more in the United States, will do more. In the
coming days, we’re going to join with our friends in Jordan and others in
providing airdrops." Unfortunately, in classic Biden fashion, he said “Ukraine”
when he meant to say “Gaza.”<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b;">Even
more unfortunately, the food and supplies, like virtually all aid purportedly
intended for the “innocent people” in Gaza, monetary or otherwise, will end up
in the hands—and stomachs—of Hamas terrorists. Oh, and there are surpassingly
few “innocent people” in Gaza in any case. </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Talk about <a href="https://dennisprager.com/column/it-takes-a-morally-confused-world-to-be-anti-israel">moral confusion</a>! This would be as if the U.S. had
dropped food and supplies into <i>East</i> Berlin in the 1950s! <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">In reality, this aid is less about
helping supposedly innocent people in Gaza, and more about helping Biden curry
favor with Muslim voters in Michigan. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Nauseating. </span><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>agatehunter1094http://www.blogger.com/profile/14069171947780207265noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7775779424744134655.post-45923275410242673712024-03-01T22:43:00.000-06:002024-03-01T22:43:05.492-06:00Why Is Everything Being Recalled Now? (U.S. Edition)<p> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">I
can’t recall seeing this many product recalls before.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Cheese.
<a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/nutrition/dole-recalls-some-salad-kits-over-potential-listeria-contamination/ar-BB1ioAh6">Salad kits</a>. Sandwiches. <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/chocolate-recalled-over-fears-of-life-threatening-allergy/ar-BB1j7Ovf?ocid=msedgntp&pc=LCTS&cvid=393e9aa37a144121943ba4c9be6e9363&ei=21">Chocolate bars</a>. Steak. <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/foodnews/chick-fil-a-issues-nationwide-recall-of-this-popular-dipping-sauce/ar-BB1jbebb">Chik-fil-a dipping sauce</a>. Even mouthwash and <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/syringes-recalled-over-sterility-fears/ar-BB1j6ZL6"><i>syringes</i></a>! Etc., etc. Most of the recalls were
due to possible contamination or undeclared ingredients, either of which could
lead to severe illness or even death, particularly to those with foodborne
allergies. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">This seems sadly
in keeping with derailing trains and parts falling from airplanes. The left’s war
on excellence—or even competence-- continues apace.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">I have never seen so many recalls in
such a remarkably short period of time. And I don’t believe in coincidences. I <i>do</i>
believe that “diversity, equity, and inclusion,” or “DEI,” is wreaking havoc on
society. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">I pray to God I’m wrong, but I have a

one Democrat and one Republican, <span style="background: white; color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">recently introduced
the Courage to Serve Act, which, if passed into law, would provide an expedited

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">American citizens used to have the courage to serve, too; but,
judging by recruitment shortfalls, many no longer have the <i>stomach</i>—or
the <i>opportunity</i>-- to do so since the Obiden administration purged the
military of conservatives, Christians, and patriots. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">In the administration’s defense, it had to purge the military
of conservatives, Christians, and patriots so that it could use it to go after
conservatives, Christians, and patriots here at home in the ever more dystopian
future. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Welcome to the new mercenary American military. Give free
stuff to illegal immigrants—including a path to citizenship—and hope they jump
at the chance to defend the nation they’ve been told is a heinous hellhole of
discrimination and oppression. (But, oddly enough, incredibly generous to
“undocumented immigrants!”)<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Proposed new military recruitment campaign slogan: “Uncle Sam
is misogynistic, racist, homophobic, bigoted, and generally hateful…and he

take the opportunity to risk it all when it’s put like that? <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

soon begin implementing a plan, promoted by Bill Gates and George Soros, to
spew chalk dust and certain chemicals into the atmosphere to reflect sunlight
away from the Earth’s surface. The creation of manmade white clouds would be an
attempt to lower Earth’s temperature and reverse global warming. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="background: white; line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 19.5pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Calibri",sans-serif; font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">This extraordinary experimental action is set to occur over the
next few months, with dust and chemicals being hurled into the atmosphere from
various countries, including Australia, Israel, and the United States. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

And we know this how? Nothing on this
scale has ever been done before. As with the COVID mRNA vaccines, we really
don’t know how this will turn out. Fingers crossed. And this roll of the dice
is on a cosmic scale! To the extent that it has an effect, it will be the first
instance in history of verifiable manmade climate change on a global scale, for
better or worse. Kind of ironic if you ask me. </span></span><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

Who authorized this assault on the
atmosphere? Surely Bill Gates and George Soros can’t simply, unilaterally
impose actions intended to affect weather and climate around the globe. Did I
miss something? Did the world’s citizens vote on this? Was the global community
consulted? Did each and every nation have a say? Farmers and botanists, the
elderly and infirm? <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="background: white; line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 19.5pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Calibri",sans-serif; font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">Is there a back-up plan should this attempted nullification of the
sun backfire and plant life be adversely affected? Or if we are thrown into a
new Ice Age, or even a Little Ice Age? What if the plan bears fruit…and the planet
no longer does as it used to? <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="background: white; line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 19.5pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Calibri",sans-serif; font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">And <i>why is this not the biggest news story around the globe</i>?

certainly been little or no opposition from <i>Democrats</i> in Congress. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

Budget Office (CBO) now estimates that, <i>this year</i>, 2024, <span style="background: white; color: #333333; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">the U.S. federal government will spend more on interest on
the national debt than on national defense. Or Medicare. You read that
correctly. The CBO says that the federal government will spend $850 billion on
defense, as opposed to $870 billion on debt </span><a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/theapothecary/2024/02/07/cbo-federal-interest-payments-now-exceed-defense-spending/?sh=47df815049d3"><span style="background: white; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">interest</span></a><span style="background: white; color: #333333; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">. Moreover, i</span><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">nterest payments on the national debt are the quickest-growing
part of the preposterously bloated yet still fast-growing federal budget…and
are projected to reach a mind-blowing <i>$5.4 trillion</i> by 2053.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">So, effectively, taxpayers are going to have their
hard-earned money confiscated to pay $870 billion for nothing. Less than
nothing, actually. In a better world, Americans</span><span class="MsoHyperlink"><span style="color: windowtext; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none;"> would be able to collectively sue
their government for swindling or malfeasance, if not treason. It’s one thing
to spend one’s own money like a drunken sailor on shore leave, quite another to
spend other people’s money in the same profligate manner. To endlessly spend even
more of other people’s money because you’ve already spent too much of their
money should be a crime. In a saner world, those responsible would at least be
held accountable and be removed from office. <o:p></o:p></span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span class="MsoHyperlink"><span style="color: windowtext; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Yet
many—if not most—of us are on the take. This lends more power to those in
government. Therefore, only a literal handful of politicians in Washington have
the courage and integrity to face the debt…and talk honestly about it. Any
politician, typically a conservative Republican, who does appear to speak
seriously of cutting spending, especially entitlement spending, is immediately
portrayed by Democrats and their sycophants in the mainstream media as being
“heartless,” or, bizarrely, even “greedy.”<o:p></o:p></span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span class="MsoHyperlink"><span style="color: windowtext; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">About
that characterization, Thomas Sowell, as usual, was spot on in noting, “I have
never understood why it is ‘greed’ to want to keep the money you have earned
but not greed to want to take somebody else’s money.” <o:p></o:p></span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span class="MsoHyperlink"><span style="color: windowtext; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none;">Another
Thomas, Jefferson in this case, perfectly summed up our choices nearly 250

independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must
make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude.</span></a><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">”<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

Which is why effort and competence are under attack, as is the honoring—or even
recognition—of competence and effort. So, out with SAT tests, get rid of deans’
lists, and dispense with honor rolls. Hell, let’s get rid of grading systems
entirely! <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

violent protest movements-- and the groups that foster them-- such as Black Lives
Matter, with extraordinary tolerance and charity. But when a true populist
movement arises, and white, working-class Christians get uppity and threaten to
vote for someone like a Donald Trump, they go into full “snit” mode and look
down their noses in horror and approbation at the great unwashed.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; mso-background-themecolor: background1; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ligatures: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>“Brexit,” too, was an example of the elites
being caught with their pants down. They simply couldn’t believe that many
folks would challenge the wisdom they so generously espoused from atop their
political thrones. With staggering- and sickening- hubris, these elites
characterized Trump’s rise and Britain’s E.U. exit as “illegitimate,”
“irrational,” and as unforgivable effrontery- a revolt against “expert’s”
authority. (To quote the “Church Lady” from the old Saturday Night Live skit:
“Well, isn’t that special!” It’s well past time these bureaucratic
bedsores took one on the chin.)<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; mso-background-themecolor: background1; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ligatures: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">This “revolt” is
anything but irrational. In America, the white working class has suffered
through declining marriage rates, stagnant- or worse- wage rates…and even
declining <i>life expectancy</i>. They see immigrants and robots taking
jobs away from them while their values are denigrated on a daily basis. They
see the elites’ attempt to take their firearms away from them at the same time
as they strive to import more and more immigrants into their communities, some
from terrorist hotbeds. Their eyes widen as the powers-that-be force-feed them
transgender bathrooms and mock Christianity while embracing Islam as a
“religion of peace.” They bust their ass and pay their taxes… and are rewarded
by being called “hicks” and racists and homophobes, even as they see more and
more people being given a free ride, courtesy of the government they partially pay
for.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; mso-background-themecolor: background1;"><span style="color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ligatures: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">
They know they are not the aggressors, but the aggrieved. They are not the
predators, but the prey. They have a big target on their backs, and they are
finally, <i>logically, reasonably,</i> getting tired of it.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; mso-background-themecolor: background1;"><span style="color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ligatures: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">
The elites, for their part, don’t care. They know the end result of their own
policies. They carefully pander to every type of minority, as these groups will
be the majority in the very near future, and likely an overwhelming majority
not that long after that. In a twisted political dance, the “tolerant” elitists
are already boldly discriminating against a bare majority…in order to prove to
the large minority that they <i>won’t</i> discriminate against <i>them</i>!<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; mso-background-themecolor: background1;"><span style="color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ligatures: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">
Far too many unelected, bureaucratic pencil-pushers in Washington and Brussels
have been granted nearly complete control over those they are supposedly to
serve, due to the cravenness of their elected “bosses.” These duplicitous
diplomats and sanctimonious “servants” sneer self-righteously at those who they
derisively say cling to “their God and their guns,” as they arouse themselves
by marinating in their own supposed superiority.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; mso-background-themecolor: background1;"><span style="color: #222222; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ligatures: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">
The West and its signature values of limited representative government, respect
for the individual, free will, free markets, discipline, work ethic, and
reasoned faith, led the world out of the Dark Ages. Bizarrely and remarkably,
the truth of the matter is that <i>elites </i>in the Western media, government,
entertainment, and academia are now <i>revolting</i> against the same values

article cited a study claiming that the majority of U.S. classrooms “teach <span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/careersandeducation/majority-of-us-biology-textbooks-teach-outdated-ideas-about-gender-and-sex-study-finds/ar-BB1iJ5S1">outdated
ideas</a> a</span>bout the differences between sex and gender,” in part because
they rely on outdated textbooks that don’t clearly differentiate between the
two…and too clearly differentiate between male and female. The study, published
in the journal <i>Science</i>, says these books <span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">promote
gender and sex <i>essentialism</i>, the idea that these categories have
“fundamental or ‘essential’ qualities.” </span>Gasp!<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">We all
know that males and females have no “fundamental or ‘essential’ qualities,”
right? They are totally interchangeable in every possible way!<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">It is
now heresy to believe in binary sexual characteristics-- and you will be in big
trouble if you don’t publicly recognize the vast, make that <i>infinite</i>,
variability of genders. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">So now educators must teach lies, whether about sex/gender,
climate change, American history, or any number of other subjects, or risk
being excommunicated…or worse.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Ironically, this is reminiscent of Galileo being put on trial
for stating that the Earth and other planets revolve around the sun, not the
other way around. His detractors couldn’t countenance a heliocentric solar
system.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="background: white; color: #2b2b2b; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: medium;">Today’s “progressives” can’t countenance any disagreement
with their agenda…because they believe the Earth—indeed the universe—revolves around
<i>them</i>.</span></span><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>agatehunter1094http://www.blogger.com/profile/14069171947780207265noreply@blogger.com0
