Washington School District Going To Race-Based Disciplinary Policy

 

Washington state’s Clover Park School District recently approved a new policy which will almost certainly encourage Tacoma area school administrators to consider race when disciplining students.

The new district directive urges school staff and officials to establish disciplinary policies that “may be adapted to individual student needs in a culturally responsive manner.” In a culturally responsive manner?

Critics understandably claim the new approach is in effect a race-based disciplinary policy that will encourage harsher or lighter punishments based on a student's race, with white students being disciplined more severely. 

However, the district insists that it is simply following a state law passed in 2021 that compels districts to “align with Cultural Competency, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion standards.” It insists the new guidelines neither are nor will be largely race-based.

Now tell us the one about the three bears, please. We know Diversity, Equity and Inclusion standards have nothing whatsoever to do with race, right?

John Arbeeny, a former deputy mayor of Lakewood, is also a skeptic. He expressed skepticism of the district’s assertion in a letter to the editor of the Suburban Times. Arbeeny wrote: “So 'culturally responsive discipline' is merely a deceptive cover term for 'racially/ethnically based discipline' which seeks to 'even out' the numbers of disciplinary incidents based upon racial/ethnic populations or some other undefined criteria.” Just so, John. Just so.

How come “progressives” believe everything should be based on race? How can this seem like a good idea, whether logically, spiritually, or based on historical fact?

“Black people aren’t able to control themselves. It’s not even their fault, really. They just can’t help it. They were born that way because of their skin color. Melanin, you know. White people? They are all racist. Inherently. Due to their skin color. They can’t help it. Just are. Then there are Native Americans, Asians, Latinos …and don’t even get me started on the Jews.”  

What could possibly go wrong or be wrong about a policy such as this? In a society gone stark raving mad, one that is shedding its long-time anchors of religion and equal justice under the law, inverting the notions of morality and tolerance, shaming the pursuit of excellence and the very idea of objective “standards,” and mocking traditional concepts of morality? Everything.

Race-based discipline and justice? How’d that work out for us before? Why not race-based health care? A race-based wage scale? Race-based restaurant reservations?

It is once again time for us to abandon race-based policies in favor of sanity-based policies. That much is clear.

One might even say it is black and white.    

 

Scientists Developing Self-Transmissible Vaccines

 

Free will and bodily autonomy are soon to be quaint memories of a bygone era, fleeting, sepia-toned visions hovering somewhere in the dusty attic of our minds.

Scientists are currently developing “self-spreading vaccines” that could transmit themselves to others in close proximity. According to National Geographic, they are feverishly working, engaged in experiments to come up with a vaccine that will spread to unvaccinated people—or even animals—as if by osmosis.

The report states that the scientists are currently developing “contagious vaccines” for Ebola, bovine tuberculosis, and Lassa fever, a viral disease spread by rats. The scientists are also planning to expand their studies to other diseases-- including rabies, West Nile virus, Lyme disease, and the plague.

The goal is to create a vaccine that would “infect” its recipient in such a way that they could pass on vaccination to others around them, in much the same way that they could pass on a disease. Thus, one vaccinated person or animal in a given community would spread the purported benefits of the vaccination to those around them. With or without them knowing that fact. Full disclosure?

These new vaccines would be so-called recombinant viruses and use a cytomegalovirus, or CMV, proud member of the herpes family of viruses.

National Geographic reported:

Imagine a cure that’s as contagious as the disease it fights—a vaccine that could replicate in a host’s body and spread to others nearby, quickly and easily protecting a whole population from microbial attacks. That’s the goal of several teams around the world who are reviving controversial research to develop self-spreading vaccines.

Advocates for the infectious vaccines claim the goal is to revolutionize public health by disrupting infectious disease spread, potentially preventing the next pandemic.

But skeptics argue that the viruses used in these vaccines could themselves mutate, jump species, or set off a chain reaction with devastating effects across entire ecosystems.

For example, Jonas Sandbrink-- a biosecurity researcher at the University of Oxford’s Future of Humanity Institute—noted: “Even if you just start by setting it out into animal populations, part of the genetic elements might find their way back into humans.” He added, “Once you set something engineered and self-transmissible out into nature, you don’t know what happens to it and where it will go.”

Oh, don’t be such Debbie Downers! Experts would make sure nothing like that could possibly happen, right? Right?

I’m old enough to remember when vaccines were supposed to prevent transmission, infection and contagion, not promote them.

And I can’t help but think these vaccines are being developed to make it impossible for people to avoid getting vaccinated, impossible to choose not to be infected with a given vaccine/experimental gene therapy. “Deniers” would be effectively, and perhaps unknowingly, forced to cede their own bodies to the vaccines—and the will of the government or other entity. Shades of the movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

As of this writing, no one has yet conducted any field or laboratory studies assessing the impact and safety of these self-spreading vaccines.

The Canadian rock band Rush wrote a popular song (released in 1980) called Freewill, the last line of which reads: “I will choose a path that's clear, I will choose free will.”

Soon, we may no longer have that choice.

 

New York Rolls Out Campaign To Capture Florida's LGBTQ Community

 

In a response to legislation recently signed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis that critics have absurdly dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” law, New York City is rolling out a digital marketing campaign encouraging members of Florida’s LGBTQ community to move to the city. Mayor Eric Adams said at an April 4^th briefing that the Big Apple’s campaign is set to include digital billboards. One of these ads reportedly states: “People Say a Lot of Ridiculous Things in New York. ‘Don’t Say Gay’ Isn’t One of Them.”

Get it? It’s okay to say “gay” in Gotham City. Of course, it’s also okay to say “gay” across the state of Florida, as the bill in question never once mentions the word. By rights, it should be called the “Doesn’t Say Gay Bill.”

It is amusing that New York is now trying to lure Floridians to move there given the massive outflow of Knickerbocker state residents to Florida that has taken place over the past couple of years. Wonder why so many erstwhile residents of New York have chosen to relocate to Florida? Could it be for the freedom? No state income tax? Weather? A governor who believes children should be educated, not indoctrinated? All of the above?

The city—and state—surely knows it can’t persuade most Sunshine State residents to abandon Florida for the “charms” of the Empire State, so it has hit on appealing to its LGBTQIA+ residents. Time will tell if this campaign bears fruit. In the unlikely event that it does, it will be another sign of the ever fragmenting American society, brought about by the “progressive” policies and focus on “intersectionality” that have been foisted on American society by the modern day Democratic Party and its sycophants in the media, academia, “entertainment,” and Big Tech who aid and abet them in their frantic and desperate quest to destroy the last best hope of earth. Due to their ceaseless efforts, America is separating into rival camps, diametrically opposed enclaves, class-based environs, red states and blue states. The elites in the big, coastal cites despise the “rubes” in “flyover country,” and, since they wield the power, they punish their “enemies” any and every way they can. The rubes eventually have no alternative but to protect and indemnify themselves to the extent possible by pushing back against their would-be masters. For which they are labeled bigots or “terrorists.”

Mayor Adams may think it’s clever to aver that people in NYC don’t say “Don’t Say ‘Gay,’” but it’s not. It’s pathetic. Will cities of the future be all gay or all straight?

Maybe people in New York should say, “Don’t Say Murder,” “Don’t Say Rape,” “Don’t Say Economic and Cultural Devastation,” or “Don’t Say Rampant Homelessness and Drug Use.” Or perhaps, “Don’t Say ‘Moving to Florida.’”

The truth can hurt.

That is why The Left hates it so much.

 

 

 

Not Your Father's Disney-- Or Walt's

 

“The most magical place on earth” is now the queerest.  

Walt Disney believed in the sanctity of the family and the power of imagination. He said of his grandest creation, “Disneyland is the star, everything else is in the supporting role.” He lived by his credo: “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, dreams are forever.”

Walt Disney passed away in 1966. And, ironically, so did his dream.

And the company he created has effectively changed his credo to: “Gayness is timeless, sexual adventurism has no age, transgenderism is forever.”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently signed into law the Parental Rights in Education bill. The legislation prohibits the instruction of sexual education and gender orientation to school children under eight-years-old, those in pre-K through grade 3. Democrats and other so-called progressives immediately and preposterously dubbed the legislation the “Don’t Say Gay Bill.” A more accurate moniker would be the “Doesn’t Say Gay Bill,” since the word “gay” literally never appears in the bill. But let’s not let the truth stand in the way of a good narrative, right?

In any case, leftists, progressives, Democrats (but I repeat myself) and other assorted morons and asshats went ballistic when they discovered they may no longer legally be able to indoctrinate young children into the LGBTQIA++++++ lifestyle/community…or even simply describe what they did in or out of bed with their significant others over the past weekend to their young and inquisitive classroom charges on any given Monday morning. Repression! Oppression! The white, male, Christian patriarchy at its evil worst! The insatiable desire of many of today’s teachers to talk to-- and with-- young kids about sexuality and “gender fluidity” is shocking, creepy, abusive…and borderline criminal. Or should be.

Disney issued a statement roundly condemning the bill.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis then called out Disney for issuing the statement, declaring: "This state is governed by the interests of the people of the state of Florida. It is not based on the demands of California corporate executives. They do not run this state. They do not control this state.”

Imagine if U.S.-based multi-national corporations like, say, Amazon, Google, Disney, or Pfizer could influence or even dictate U.S. policy! Ridiculous! Preposterous! Could never happen. Why, if it did, the United States would be an oligarchy, much like Russia. Hah!

Chase Buttigieg, husband of U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, took to Twitter to indignantly state: “Every LGBTQ student, teacher, parent, nurse, astronaut, mechanic, soldier, etc., in Florida is still LGBTQ. The governor can sign a bill making it illegal to acknowledge their existence, but he can’t make them disappear with a pen. Love will always win, friends. Onward.”

“Every LGBTQ student, teacher, parent, nurse, astronaut, mechanic, soldier, etc., in Florida is still LGBTQ?” All of them? Wow. And what of electricians, plumbers, secretaries, check-out clerks, professional athletes, veterinarians, and waitresses? Does DeSantis’ bill make it illegal to acknowledge their existence, too? What if you happen to be a bisexual parent who is also a teacher and in the National Guard? Does DeSantis’ bill make you disappear? Call for your execution? Such preposterous poppycock should be beneath even the husband of a member of the Biden administration.

Disney corporate president Karey Burke boldly stated that she wants a minimum of 50% of Disney’s characters to be LGBTQIA and/or racial minorities going forward. And how is Disney going to make it queer clear to the kiddies that all these characters are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender?

Disney has already done away with all gendered greetings and messages, replacing them with “hello ‘dreamers,’” etc.

Worse yet, Disney production coordinator Allen March says his team is utterly committed to “exploring queer stories” and “canonical trans characters,” as well as “canonical bisexual characters.” Canonical?

Here is the definition of “canonical:”

1.       According to or ordered by canon law.

"the canonical rites of the Roman Church"

2.       Included in the list of sacred books officially accepted as genuine.

"the canonical Gospels of the New Testament"

3.       relating to a cathedral chapter or a member of it.

 

Do we really wish to conflate sodomy, bisexuality, transgenderism, and gender dysphoria with the “sacred?”

 

Not to be outdone, Disney executive producer Latoya Raveneau was caught on film stating: “I was just, wherever I could, just basically adding queerness.” Yay! Queering Disney! Yay! “Gay, gay, gay, gay!”

And Disney’s activism partner Nadine Smith, of Equality Florida, told the company’s LGBTQ employees that DeSantis and Republicans want to “erase you,” “criminalize your existence,” and “take your kids.” In reality, it is conservatives who routinely get cancelled, erased, and whose very existence is criminalized. Talk about fake news and disinformation! Republicans want to take the kids from members of the LGBTQ community? Really? Has this ever happened? Even once before? What would they do with them if they kidnapped them? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? (This is precisely the kind of bullsh*t that the mainstream media adores and traffics in, literally fake news. It is more than biased. It is disingenuous, it is untrue, it is deliberately malicious, and it does immeasurable and permanent harm to society at large on several levels. It is why, tragically, the mainstream media as presently constituted is truly the enemy of the people.)

Imagine the possibilities of this gay new world! Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff “Woody” would be so good together, if you know what I mean! We can dream about magical moments between Jasmine and Elsa! That’s what I’m talkin’ ‘bout! Tarzan, Jane, Tinker Bell, Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Ariel, Minnie, Mickey, Goofy…the delicious permutations are endless!

David Hogg Asks If A License Should Be Needed To Kill Humans

 

Gun control activist extraordinaire David Hogg took to Twitter recently to pose a serious question, one whose answer has eluded philosophers and theologians for Millenia: “If you need a license to kill deer why don’t you need one to kill humans?” The precocious Harvard whiz kid added, “Plenty of people will think this is dumb- good for you. I’m not looking out for an election and I’m entitled to my own opinion no matter how much you disagree.” Huh?

The reason a license isn’t needed to kill humans is because murder is against the law. Has been for a long time. It is wrong to kill one’s fellow humans for sport. Ergo, hunting them is not allowed. Anywhere. Anytime. No “license” is needed for that which is not permitted.

Also, we in the U.S. have the right to bear arms to prevent those who, unlicensed though they may be, wish to threaten us or our loved ones with grievous bodily harm. Our rights don’t come from other humans. Just because “Bob” says it is okay to imprison Jews or kill my neighbor doesn’t make it so. Much as “Bob” should not be able to prevent you or me from exercising our inherent natural right to defend ourselves. For some reason, progressives have difficulty understanding this most basic concept.

The hyper-progressive Hogg ironically proclaims that he is “entitled to my own opinion no matter how much you disagree.” Yet, progressives everywhere incessantly insist that those who disagree with them are not entitled to their own opinion, and should, in fact, be: censored, prevented from speaking, kicked off campus and social media platforms, pilloried, fired, and cancelled.

Perhaps David should have to get a license before he is allowed to go Hogg wild on Twitter again. What do you think?

The NFL Goes Even Woker

 

National Football League owners recently approved a new mandate requiring every NFL team to hire one minority offensive assistant coach. The mandatory hire will be in effect for the upcoming 2022 season and can be a female or a member of an ethnic or racial minority.

A statement obtained by United Press International noted that each of the soon-to-be-hired coaches will receive a one-year contract and will “work closely with the head coach and offensive staff to gain experience.” Teams will reportedly be reimbursed for the female and/or minority coaching hires through a league-wide fund that will go toward their salaries.   

The goal of the new policy is to increase the number of minorities in the pool of offensive coaches, since they are typically the most sought-after head coaching candidates. This edict is, of course, part of the league's ever-increasing efforts to embrace and foster “diversity, equity and inclusion.”  

Which got me to thinking: will every NFL offense be required to have at least one woman or transgender on it? Every offensive line? Will every team soon be required to have at least one bisexual and Jewish person on its defensive coaching staff? A Mormon on its special teams? A Pisces in its marketing department? A minimum of two vegans and one Two-Spirited individual in its scouting department? Where does this end?

Actually, that was a rhetorical question. We all know where this ends. With an openly conservative coach getting disciplined or fired. And with a ban on the hiring of MAGA supporters, Trump voters, and DeSantis lovers. Because “diversity, equity and inclusion” only goes so far. It’s imperative when talking about things like sexual orientation or identity, but is utterly inapplicable and meaningless as regards to political orientation and independence of thought.

The NFL, like almost every other entity in America, has gone woke.

Putting the best and most competitive team on the field no longer takes priority. Neither does winning football games. What matters most is appeasing the small but vociferous woke mob.

 

 

MasterCard To Track Your Carbon Footprint?

 

Auto manufacturers, companies, and governments increasingly have the power to track our every movement or prevent us from driving our own vehicle. Supposedly democratic governments can lock us down or even freeze our bank accounts on a whim (see also, “Canada” and “Trudeau”). In this increasingly dystopian world, large multinational corporations are working hand-in-glove with said governments to reshape society in their preferred image, garden variety citizens be damned.

To that end, MasterCard and the United Nations have joined forces to produce a credit card that measures your carbon footprint. And, once you reach your “limit,” you can’t purchase anything else…at least with that card. Well, isn’t that special? What’s next? We may not want to know.

But perhaps I’m too cynical. What could be the downside?

Would it prevent the cardholder from purchasing, say, cigarettes? Put a cap on how much one could spend at a liquor store? If we were to try to order Glenn Beck's new book, “The Great Reset,” from barnesandnoble.com, would it generate a message like “Incorrect purchase, authorization not allowed?” If we wanted to use it to pay for our subscription to the New York Post, would a pop-up notice appear saying “Transaction disallowed, inappropriate material!”

I guess the consumer best read the fine print on the cardholder agreement: “This card not authorized for transactions at Chick-fil-A, Hobby Lobby, and certain other retailers…”

Knowingly or not, we are gradually ceding total and complete control over our actions and very lives. The powerful and elite already control the media, academia, and perhaps even our election process—if not the outcomes. They attempt to control our thoughts and emotions. They try to control our fear with crises—legitimate or contrived. They can dial it up or dial it down based on who's in office or what they wish us to believe.

And now they are working on developing “transmissible vaccines.” (That’ll show those of us who they dub vaccine “deniers.” Don’t wish to be injected with an experimental gene therapy? Too damn bad!) In the halcyon days of yore, “vaccines” were to prevent transmission, not promote it.

As recent events have shown, when it comes to controlling the little people, there's virtually nothing the government-corporate oligarchy cannot do…or will not attempt.

Brave new world? No. Depraved new world? Indeed.

And one increasingly devoid of free will.

California Abortion "Tourism"

 

California State Senators Nancy Skinner and Anna Caballero introduced Senate Bill 1142, which, if passed into law, will establish a public-private fund for the sole purpose of providing grant money to nonprofits to assist "low-income pregnant women" get "access to abortion services."

This bill has the explicit goal of attracting out-of-state women who seek abortion services which would subsequently establish California as a state friendly to abortion “tourism.” Which is an unfortunate term. And an ugly one.

“I’d like you all to look over here now. There’s the Hollywood Bowl! And this is Rodeo Drive! Over there is Grauman’s Chinese Theater…and there is a Planned Parenthood! And just two blocks over is Bob’s House O’ Abortion! Yay!! Let’s go have a look. We have tours planned of both of them!”

What’s next, Holocaust tourism?

 Is the California Office of Tourism going to use this? “Come to California, the Golden State, home of the stars, the land of milk and honey……and unfettered abortion!”

Perhaps visitcalifornia.com will trumpet the new bill’s affect if passed: “Experience a world of breathtaking beauty, heart-pounding adventure, world-renowned wine and culinary delights. Art, culture and attractions to amaze the whole family. And more abortion clinics than you can shake a stick at! In California, anything is possible, because we are an abortion sanctuary!”

Sadly, just one more reason to stay away.

Physical Fitness Equals White Supremacy?

 

Cynthia Miller-Idriss, an MSNBC Opinion Columnist, recently attempted to link physical fitness with Naziism and white supremacy. In a March 22^nd piece, she stated that “A network of online ‘fascist fitness’ chat groups on the encrypted platform Telegram are recruiting and radicalizing young men with neo-Nazi and white supremacist extremist ideologies.” She opined that these young men are “initially lured with health tips and strategies for positive physical changes,” but are “later invited to closed chat groups where far-right content is shared.”

Miller-Idriss also noted that “It appears the far right has taken advantage of pandemic at-home fitness trends” to expand its “radicalization of physical mixed martial arts (MMA) and combat sports spaces.” Yes, we all know how conservatives famously embraced the pandemic lockdowns. Perhaps they were secretly behind the push to keep people from leaving their abodes.

Then Miller-Idriss observed: “Physical fitness has always been central to the far right. In ‘Mein Kampf,’ Hitler fixated on boxing and jujitsu, believing they could help him create an army of millions whose aggressive spirit and impeccably trained bodies, combined with ‘fanatical love of the fatherland,’ would do more for the German nation than any ‘mediocre’ tactical weapons training.”

“Physical fitness has always been central to the ‘far right’?” Like who? Herman Göring? William F. Buckley, Jr.? Rush Limbaugh? Does she think the ancient Greeks and Romans were progenitors of Naziism? Actually, we can be sure Miller-Idriss thinks anyone to the starboard side of V.I. Lenin is “far right.”

But the illustrious and insightful MSNBC columnist wasn’t done yet. She bravely soldiered on, saying, “The intersection of extremism and fitness leans into a shared obsession with the male body, training, masculinity, testosterone, strength and competition.” You know it, sister! “Fitness,” “training,” “strength,” and “competition” are nothing but dog-whistles for a radical right-wing takeover of all that we hold dear!

I bet you, dear reader, didn’t know that the YMCA is actually a haven for aspiring Hitler Youth. Did you? Or that the President’s Council on Physical Fitness is naught but a redoubt of White Supremacy. Or that “gym” is not, in fact, just short for gymnasium…a German word…but also stands for “Gestapo Youth of ‘Merica.”  

In the face of this compelling—indeed overwhelming—evidence, I’m calling for the four major professional sports leagues in North America to ban all workouts, training, and practices…so as not to contribute to the advancement and outright worship of fitness fascism in America.

This means you, LeBron James. And you, Patrick Mahomes. And you, Shohei Ohtani. And you, P.K. Subban. Stop exercising and start being more woke! Better yet, grow a vagina…or a pot belly! So we’d know we can trust you.

The Theater of the Absurd that passes for our modern society deems all striving for excellence, whether intellectual, vocational or physical, as simply a nod to-- or feature of-- a white, male Christian patriarchy. The desire for fitness, you see, in the eyes of leftists, can only be part and parcel of a vast, right-wing conspiracy to return us all to the halcyon days of the Third Reich.
