We Must Tell The Truth Now, Or Sentence Our Kids To Servitude

 

Leftists will go to any length to shut down any and all rational research and inquiry into-- and reporting of- potential or actual differences among blacks and whites, men and women, various cultures, and anything else they think could possibly yield results that don’t entirely fit their narrow little narrative. They are, in fact, closed-minded, intolerant and exclusionary haters of history, reality, and truth.

By their reasoning mandate, we should not have pursued astronomy, as discovering that the sun was the center of our galaxy/solar system went against religious teaching at the time. Physics should not have been engaged in, as it eventually allowed for the creation of the atomic bomb. (As Gad Saad wrote in his latest excellent book, “Suicidal Empathy.”)

But no, it is verboten to do any research pertaining to the differences, if any-- be they physical, physiological, or mental-- between blacks and whites. Or between the two sexes. Or between Christianity and Islam.  Or between Western culture and any others. Nothing to see here! And even if there was, we don't want to see it!! And we especially don’t want you to see it!!! Assorted other serious studies, such as the relationship between open borders and the frequency of various crimes, must also never see the light. Ditto for data pertaining to COVID jab injuries. To the extent that any of this does get out and in any way challenges prevailing progressive assertions and dogma, it is “countered” by simply labeling the facts, figures, or data as “racist,” “bigoted,” “homophobic,” “transphobic,” “misogynistic,” “Xenophobic,” “Islamophobic,” or in some other way hateful. And by calling those involved in the research or reporting a “fascist,” “deplorable,” “Nazi”--  or as “anti-science,” among other ridiculous and deplorable terms.

Bizarrely, this does not work in reverse. If those today’s “liberals” call out as “bigoted,” “Islamophobic,” or “fascist” should deign to brand far-left, bat-shit crazy Socialists-- who openly want to get rid of all borders, police, prisons, the Senate, the Supreme Court, and the President-- as “extreme,” “Communist,” or “anti-Semitic,” the mainstream media would refuse to challenge the liberal positions, but would decry the “extremism,” “mean-spiritedness,” and democracy-threatening nature of the “far-right” MAGA types who dare to deviate and dissent from the sanctioned narrative.

This means that those who are not a slave to conventional Communist wisdom, a phrase that should not be possible let alone relevant in 2026, must batten down their personal hatches and tell the truth no matter what, so help them God. For if we do not do this now, risking verbal assault, our children may find themselves doing this later…and find themselves being sent to a gulag, deprived of their freedoms and prosperity.

Democrats, Destruction, And The Theft Of A Republic

            Dylan Adams was famously caught on camera keying Teslas across the Twin Cities in early 2025. He damaged 6 of them to the tune of over $21,000. He admitted to investigators that his crime spree was motivated by his hatred for Elon Musk. Yet “Scary” Mary Moriarty, Hennepin County Attorney, declined to file criminal charges against Adams, who is, wait for it, a fiscal policy analyst with the Minnesota Department of Human Services under Governor “Tampon” Timmy Walz. Adams ended up serving a one-day suspension. Probably got some shopping done and binged-watched a few episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Worse, newly reported state employment records reveal that he has subsequently received a promotion and a raise. And yet Moriarty hit a 19-year-old woman with a felony charge for (allegedly) keying a single vehicle. Protect your own, I guess. Especially in government. Especially in blue states like Minnesota. Disgusting.

In what I consider related news, The Gateway Pundit reported that “The brand-new city manager of upscale Sausalito, California was arrested on felony burglary charges after allegedly breaking into multiple yachts at the Sausalito Yacht Harbor, a mere three weeks into her high-paying gig.”

She also tried to steal one. TGP again: “Elaine Forbes, 53, who just started as Sausalito’s city manager on July 1 with a whopping $275,000 taxpayer-funded annual salary, was hauled off by Marin County sheriff’s deputies around 6:50 a.m. on Saturday after responding to a noise complaint, KRON4 reported. Deputies reportedly found her aboard a vessel she didn’t own, trying to start the boat, leaving behind messes with empty alcohol bottles, sounding the yacht’s loud horns, and even wearing the owner’s clothing. She initially claimed it was her boat and told officers she was having ‘a bad morning.’”

Adams and Forbes are kindred—if evil—spirits…and quintessential modern-day Democrats. It’s not enough that these folks want to tax the hell out of us. They want to damage or steal the property they haven’t prevented us from having. There is a deep-state entitlement mentality at work here that will destroy the country if it continues to go unchecked. They are the opposite of public servants, the opposite of the founders’ character and vision.

Whether keying Teslas or attempting to steal yachts, Democrats leave behind messes, empty alcohol bottles…and immeasurable destruction.

And yet, they are not truly held accountable. By anyone at all. Ever. Look for Forbes to run for president in 2036.

The Democratic Socialists of America’s appetite for destruction is unlimited, insatiable. Its disdain for the founders-- and America as a whole—as total and impenetrable as it is insane. As is its hatred for competence, success, religion, dignity, moral standards…and objective truth. Its support of crime and criminals rock solid and inarguable.

           If the majority of Americans don’t quickly summon the intelligence, sanity, and courage to beat them back or defeat them outright, there will not be a tricentennial…at least not for a nation that bears any resemblance to the one we once knew. "Sticks And Stones May Break My Bones, But Words Will Never Hurt Me"

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”

That was a phrase often uttered by schoolchildren in days of yore. (Circa the 1950s-1970s.) But many of today’s “adults” are not nearly as level-headed and mentally tough as were yesterday's youth. Generalized prosperity has played a big role in the increasing fragility of the populace, and its subsequent entitlement mentality.  As has “helicopter parenting.” But arguably the biggest contributor to this depressing phenomenon is higher education, i.e. colleges and universities. Someone disagreed with me! Safe spaces anyone? Warm milk, cookies, and playful puppies? Oh my God, I need a therapist!

If someone, say, hits you in the head with a baseball bat, the harm done is very, very real. At minimum, you will feel pain. A high level of distinct and lingering physical pain. You may even suffer headaches, broken bones, brain damage, lapse into a coma, or even die.

On the other hand, if someone calls you a “bad” name, such as “wop,” “bastard,” asshat, bigot, racist, Nazi, asshole, or “Jew lover,” there is no physical damage or pain and you get to decide whether to be offended or hurt. In that sense, any hurt must necessarily be self-inflicted. Personally, I would never let anyone have that power over me. But there are many who jump at the chance to be offended, to be hurt. This allows them to play the victim card while simultaneously turning around and verbally assaulting the other party, their alleged “assailant.” Truth be told, these are the folks who typically throw terms like bigot, racist, Jew-lover, or Nazi around. Also “deplorables,” “clingers,” etc., etc., etc.

A neat, if repulsive, trick, eh?

How to handle these situations? Point out their neediness, vanity, entitlement mentality, and hypocrisy. Then laugh at them…and move on.

Because the truth of the matter is that sticks and stones—and baseball bats—can break one’s bones, but words should never be allowed to hurt you.

Words, properly employed, can educate, illuminate, inspire…and even change opinions and minds. But they should never be considered “violence,” no matter how inconsiderate, inaccurate, or vile.

Because if they are, it necessarily follows that free speech is curtailed or eradicated. And when free speech is abridged, all other freedoms and liberties will be, as well. Without exception.

 

 

Islam, Marxism, Tyranny Ascendant

 

Canada, the UK, and France are rapidly morphing into Muslim nations. Iran is run by a motley collection of itinerant thugs and Islamic terrorists. Russia is run by an extreme authoritarian. China, North Korea, Cuba, and various other nations have a Communist government. Daniel Ortega is a dictator, like many others, one who recently announced he was suspending elections in Nicaragua. The EU renders the will of the people in several European nations effectively moot.

In Hungary, Victor Orban’s Fidesz Party was recently raided, their servers confiscated. Romanian Presidential elections were cancelled back in 2024. And the beat—or beat down—goes sadly on.

In Germany, efforts are underway to outright ban the Alternative for Deutschland (AfD) party, that nation’s largest opposition party. The ruling Social Democrats and their Brownshirts SS Stasi political police have hilariously been attempting to prove that the AfD is a danger to democracy, much like rabidly insane Democrats have said about President Trump and his supporters here in the United States.

Local ruling authorities have gone so far as to change the election rules, allowing local election boards to ban individual candidates if they purportedly harbor “doubts” about “their loyalty to the constitution.” Meaning they pose a threat to their power. “Socialism” is on the rise in Europe, including in formerly sane and conservative countries like Hungary. And it is indisputably having a moment in the United States. That is because leftists, like the practitioners of Islam, never rest, never flag-- and will never do so—in their manically obsessive quest to destroy freedom and prosperity. Simply put, if either one of these two ideologies were ever to prevail across the West, the world would enter a new Dark Age, economically, morally, politically, and spiritually. That is what happens when those in power seek to deny the unalienable rights granted to us by our Creator. And that is what happens when those currently in power allow it to, whether through greed or suicidal empathy.

Here in the U.S., the Democrat Party would suspend elections in a heartbeat if the people in it thought they could get away with it. And “RINOs” might let them get away with it, sooner rather than later. It is ironic that Democrats claim the same of President Trump and his supporters, who actually are trying to uphold the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, among other founding principles.

As for Germany? Germans must push back, bigly, if they want to ensure they retain some liberty and rights, like the right to vote for whom you want. Or there will be no Alternative for Deutschland. Not now. Not ever.

Islam and Marxism share one depraved goal: the utter destruction of the West and its values. If these twin malignant afflictions were to prevail, it would plunge the earth into darkness and despair. And even the earth wouldn’t be big enough for the both of them. What then?

 

 

Gun, Knife, Or Hammer Control?

 

Ann Widdecombe, an icon of British conservatism, was found dead in her home earlier this month. Joshua Kerry, 28, stands accused of killing her. Prosecutors say he struck Widdecombe 21 times with a hammer after entering her property. Horrifying. Brutal almost beyond belief.

And now a group called ‘Palestine Action’ is apparently promoting this barbaric method of assault as a promising new means of employing “direct action.” Journalist Andy Ngo recently posted on ‘X’: “Palestine Action is advertising ‘direct action’ training for people who want to take up militant action using hammers.”  The Palestine Action Group’s ‘advertisement’ (see Palestineaction.org/workshops) also read: “Arms Tired From Waving Flags? Work Out With A Hammer! Direct Action Training Available!” Maybe PAG just wants to encourage folks to become carpenters, you know, like Jesus. Bet that’s it.

These people are worse than savages. Bludgeoning others to death with a hammer, bashing their heads in, inflicting excruciating pain over time…can you say ‘death penalty?’

I’m going to get a jump on our Democrat and Progressive friends. I’m going on the record—right here and now-- as calling for common-sense hammer control. IDs should be required to purchase these weapons. Background checks (NICS forms, etc.) should be completed and replied to prior to purchase being allowed. Hammers should all be locked up at all hardware and home good stores. Hammer safety classes should be mandated. As should permits to acquire and carry. And suffice it to say that no one needs a sledgehammer, and the manufacture and sale of these deadly weapons should be permanently banned.

Where guns have been banned, guns are still used in violent crimes. Odd. But, increasingly, so are knives. And now hammers. How long can it be until forks, weedwhackers, and baseball bats take their place as weapons of choice?

But, of course, no inanimate object can be inherently dangerous or evil. What must be banned if these attacks are to be reduced or alleviated are the policies that create fear, poverty, envy, entitlement, hatred, ignorance, and mental illness. Precisely the policies that Leftists espouse.

I guess what we really need is common sense leftist control.

 

 

Artificial Intelligence To Take Over Hollywood?

 

Eline van der Velden, the founder and CEO of something called A.I. studio Particle 6, says she is concerned about people who don't embrace A.I., including especially detractors of her new project. Particle 6, Ms. Van der Velden's studio, recently announced that it is behind the A.I. character named Tilly Norwood, whom the company is pushing as the first A.I. actress to ever “exist,” and who is soon to star in its upcoming A.I. movie titled "Misaligned."

Van der Velden believes the general public is better off preparing for the inevitable reign of A.I. rather than fighting it.

Really?

What would It’s A Wonderful Life and Casablanca look like if they had been entirely A.I. generated and “performed?” Would we have gloried in lines such as, “Each A.I. generated character’s life touches so many other A.I. generated lives.” Or, “Every time a bell rings, an A.I. generated angel gets its wings.”

It is getting increasingly more difficult, particularly for our youth, to discern reality from fiction, actual intelligence from artificial intelligence, history from fake news, scientific “fact” from “experts” agenda, and truth from sheer prevarication.

Democrat Party Dead, Marxists And RINOs Ascendant, America Doomed

 

The Democrat Party is dead. The party of Truman and JFK is gone. It has been on life support for years now. Recent events have proven that it is now deceased. Though I am a conservative, I must say that this is not good news for the United States of America. This is because the old party, with all its flaws, largely consisted of people who at least kind of liked America. And, at some level, had some respect for the founders, our history-- and even their political opposition. That is obviously no longer the case. That the demise of the donkeys has occurred simultaneously with the fracturing of the Republican Party and the revenge of the Rinos is doubly bad for the country. The Socialist-Marxists are diametrically opposed to limited government of, by, and for the people, with equal justice under the rule of law. And, most importantly, to the notion—and truism-- that our rights are unalienable and granted by our Creator. And Rinos? Well, in truth, they stand for nothing and go along with anything. As asshats like John Thune clearly demonstrate, on a daily basis, they see their main enemy as being President Trump. They detest MAGA nation.

Which is unfortunate, as that is the nation’s only viable way forward and singular chance at renewal. Else, the U.S. will be as dead as the Democrat party. A rising and eventually majoritarian Socialist-Marxist Party will conspire to further fundamentally transform the U.S. until it is unrecognizable and unexceptional. RINOs will form focus groups and write strongly worded letters of remonstrance before quickly and quietly acceding to the demands of the Socialist-Marxist Party.

I have previously written of how different the tone was between the lead-up to the Bicentennial and the lead-up to the Semiquincentennial. Many are reluctant – or even embarrassed-- to lustily celebrate America’s 250^th birthday. Wokeness, suicidal empathy, and rapid demographic change have combined with the collapse of objective educational institutions and media outlets to sentence us to a sort of nation-wide version of MAID, Marxist Assistance In Dying.

Half a century on from our Bicentennial, we should be celebrating both harder… and more reverently…the birth of the greatest nation that has ever graced planet earth. We should be looking to our founders, not away from them.

And, dear God, how I wish the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Charlie Kirk, and Toby Keith were here to take this ever-so-warranted celebration to the next level.  

 

 

 

A Time For Resolution

 

 I have no illusions (or delusions) about the impact that my writing has (or, more accurately, doesn’t have) on policy makers…or anyone else. But I wish I could tell Republicans one thing: for the love of God, stop playing by Marquess of Queensberry Rules and tell the Democrats to go eff themselves. And then set out to fix the country, preferably by first passing the SAVE Act…via nuking the filibuster if need be.

Republicans in general are not very good at fighting. Worse, they are inexplicably bad at explaining the easily explainable and properly stating their case. (Example: the SAVE Act, still somehow un-passed, though roughly 80% of citizens want it enacted.)

It doesn’t—or shouldn’t-- take a hero to stand against systemic voter fraud, illegal alien crime, the Hillary and Obama led attempted coup against the duly elected President Trump via the infamous Russian Collusion Hoax that derailed America for years, or against the absolutely ubiquitous fraud and theft of taxpayers money committed by Somalis, NGOs, Democrat representatives, and a cast of thousands of other criminals. Nor should it take great courage to state that a man can’t become a woman and vice-versa…and shouldn’t be allowed in women’s bath and locker rooms. Or to point out that many of today’s Democrat candidates are bat-sh*t crazy with morals that would make a drunken sailor on shore leave blush… if not vomit. And that a growing number are now to the left of Mao Zedong and at least as evil. (Pro-tip: make sure when running a Communist candidate that he or she doesn’t sport a Nazi tattoo. You’re welcome.)

Senate Democrats are now blocking the National Defense Authorization Act which funds the Defense Department/Department of War to spite Trump. Not surprising, as everything Democrats do is centered around spiting Trump, not serving the people.

Like many conservatives, I am still waiting for the massive DOGE spending cuts. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz recently pardoned an illegal alien who repeatedly raped a pre-teen girl. (Didn’t want to see him deported.) And oversaw staggering fraud and corruption. Yet he is still in office, a slap in the face of decency and sanity. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer just pardoned an Albanian who was convicted of murder in 1978. Why would she pardon a convicted murderer? Didn’t want to see him deported.

Why the hell not?

These ghoulish freaks want to put grandmas who strolled through the People’s House on Jan. 6 in jail until the sun expires and want to make it illegal to refer to someone by their actual gender but can’t bear to see immigrant child-rapists and murderers deported. How is this not overwhelmingly troubling to, well, every sane and decent American citizen? I mean, what the hell?! How is it possible most of us are just saying, “Oh well,” and moving on?! And Democrats/Socialists/Communists (but I repeat myself)  are the ones who are pissed off and animated?! I tremble for our country.

So Gavin Newsom stonewalls any and all investigations into fraud, both at the state level and personally. Nothing happens. Dylan Adams, the Minnesota state employee (and Democrat, but I repeat myself) who was famously caught on camera vandalizing six Teslas to the tune of $20,000 because he doesn’t like Elon Musk, served a one-day suspension for his crimes. One day. Suspension. Not fired. No jail.

And then there is Ilhan Omar (D-MN), the Muslim immigrant who allegedly married her brother to get him, too, into the states…and who, regardless, trashes America at every turn. And whose financial disclosures went from placing her net worth at $30 million to under $100,000 in the blink of an eye. Accountant error you see. (Now tell us the one about the three bears!) Still in Congress, despite everything.

So, Spencer Pratt has an election stolen from him in real time. Everyone knows this. But too few care. What we are witnessing is the Graham Platnerization of the Democrat Party. And, God forbid, America. The founders knew all this could happen, in fact said it would happen if the people lost their religion and morals.

Ecclesiastes 3:7-8 states [that there is]:

 

A time to be silent and a time to speak,

A time to love and a time to hate,

A time for war and a time for peace.

 

This is not the time for silence. This is the time to speak…out against the assault on Judeo-Christian values and work ethic. This is the time to hate-- yes hate-- the evil that is threatening to overwhelm us…and to love those that fight for good. And it is a time for war against those that would slay us…so that a just and lasting peace may soon reign again.  

 

DSA Members Exhibit Their Rabid Hatred For America (And We Should Be Very Concerned)

 

Linda Sarsour, a radical Islamic activist who works with the benign sounding but terrorist supporting Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), wants to dispense with the Declaration of Independence-- arguably the grandest and most important document ever conceived and written by human beings-- and replace it with one based on her values and principles. Because, of course she does, she’s a card-carrying member of the Democrat-Socialists of America, a misnomer on the order of the People’s Republic of China. The she-witch asked, “Do we have the audacity to…build a document that is our values?”

Well, do we? Do we have the audacity to allow her and her ilk to “build a document that is our [their] values,” values diametrically opposed to the ones on which the country was founded: limited government of, by, and for the people with the rule of law and unalienable rights granted by our Creator? You know: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Another DSA member, Frances Gill, recently argued that “every president since the founding of the country has been super evil.” Say what?! Well, a few of them might have been, such as Woodrow Wilson, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden. But George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and James Monroe? Abraham Lincoln? Calvin Coolidge, Ronald Reagan, FDR, Harry Truman, JFK? All “super” evil? Compared to whom, which world leaders at what time in history? Hitler, Stalin? Pol Pot, Idi Amin Dada, Mao Zedung, Kim Jong-un, Nicolás Maduro, the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini? Beginning to get the picture, Frances? But I’ll continue. Saddam Hussein, Robert Mugave, Genghis Khan, Benito Mussolini, Hirohito, Ho Chi Minh, Fidel Castro? King George III, King Henry VIII, Pope John XII, Nero, Caligula? Suffice it to say that the greatness—and goodness—of several American presidents has done more for the country, its people…and the world…than anyone else in history. Period. Just in recognizing, granting, and fighting for liberty for starters. It is a simple fact that many world leaders, including many today, care only about their own power, a trait which has been a veritable hallmark of the very Socialists/Marxists/Communists these DSA asshats tolerate, respect, or revere.

It is not surprising that Sarsour (and likely Gill) wants to dispense with the Declaration of Independence. Those who would choose Socialism, Marxism, Communism are making it clear that they are—or would like to be-- dependent on the state. They would give up their freedom, their very liberty, for a little potential alleged security in the form of payments from the state (taxpayers). In doing so, they are helping to rob others, taxpayers, of their freedom, their liberty, and their belongings. Taken to these extremes, virtually everyone else eventually realizes that their effort, their toil, their work is pointless, as the fruits of their labor go to others who do not work.

Productivity necessarily collapses along with consumption, and economies collapse... at which point everyone essentially becomes a slave... at or near subsistence level poverty, if that. All of history proves this so, which is why leftists cannot tolerate the accurate teaching of history, if they teach it at all.   

What will happen if these kooks attain power, a growing possibility due to rapid demographic change and the decades-long work of the indoctrination camps known as colleges and universities? Look to the USSR, North Korea, Paul Pot’s Cambodia, and today's Cuba and Venezuela for the answer.

Look very closely.

President Trump: I will be making a big announcement tonight, a yuuuge announcement concerning election integrity—or the lack thereof—and its implications for the future of our country and national security. I will be revealing conclusive proof that China extensively meddled in the 2020 presidential election—and that our own intelligence organizations and the ‘Deep State’ deliberately and systemically hid that from you, the American people and voters…and from myself, your duly elected president.

ABC:  We didn’t feel it was right or moral to pre-empt—or delay—the current episode of The Bachelor, and therefore deprive American citizens (and voters!) of almost real-time updates on Spencer Conley & Jess Edwards, who were engaged on the finale of Bachelor in Paradise season 10 just last September.

CNN: Well, this is CNN… and we chose to run a critical Public Service Announcement pertaining to the epidemic of explosive diarrhea sweeping the nation due to Cyclosporiasis-- caused by improperly handled lettuce and produce—rather than run the aging, rotund liar’s insane litany of thoroughly debunked election interference claims and completely unfounded attacks on the press as being somehow biased against him.

CBS: As President Trump continues to make unverified, and frankly preposterous, assertions about Chinese interference and other forms of fraud in what most experts claim was the most secure election in American history, we have to cut away now to bring you breaking news: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have just announced that they will be taking a second-- and much longer-- honeymoon in the Cayman Islands early next year after the NFL season has concluded. Wow. Just wow.

The Associated Press (AP), recapping President Trump’s speech: The president put forth soaring but baseless rhetoric about alleged American exceptionalism before weirdly veering into a darkly political speech with warnings about a sinister threat of communism that evoked one of the country’s ugliest chapters. Trump went so far as to state that an amorphous and almost undetectable communism was a mortal threat to American liberty. What a nut job!  25^th Amendment people! Trumpty Dumpty’s speech pales in comparison to then President Biden’s brilliant September 1^st, 2022, speech in which he rightly and properly demonized Trump and his fascistic supporters in a fiery rant girded by a suitably dark and blood-red background.

 

 

 

 

A Toast To History: A Dozen Decades That Led Us To Now

 

We are well into the new year. Long ago toasts have been forgotten, vows made for the year ahead allowed to fall by the wayside. The vast majority of New Year’s resolutions have been jettisoned like a prom dress after three or four cocktails. Regardless, it behooves us to look back in time every now and again, to see how we got here and therefore where we may be headed. Every Decade has had its own feel, vibe, character…even ambiance, if you will. For what it’s worth, here is my extremely brief thumbnail sketch of the past 12 of them. I know this post is different— (ironically) far less timely and on a subject of far less immediacy and import than of those I usually pen, but I wanted to get a feel for you, the readers, opinions of past decades. Those of you who aren’t too absorbed in a lovely Summer Sunday and/or the finale of the FIFA World Cup, please take a moment to let me know if you have a favorite decade, or one that stands out to you in some poignant way-- for good, bad, or indifferent. I am genuinely curious and look forward to reading your comments.

*1910s— Ford invented the assembly line, and, not coincidentally, increased basic wage rates. Babe Ruth made his debut. The Panama Canal was completed. But this decade was dominated by the “War to End All Wars.” Which, as it turned out, wasn’t. Possibilities met Progressivism for the first time. And the Great War devastated Europe and overshadowed everything. Some say we have never recovered.

*1920s— The war was over and everyone was dancing. The “Roaring Twenties” came in like a drunken lion and, unfortunately, ended in a stock market crash. Women won the right to vote in America, but drinking alcoholic beverages was prohibited. So speakeasies and “bathtub booze” ruled the day. It was fun, fun, fun until your daddy took the Model-T away.   

*1930s— Born of a stock market crash, the ‘30s never really got any better. As if a market crash wasn’t enough, the “Dust Bowl” years further devastated Americans. FDR reigned. World War II loomed. Churchill tried to prevent it, but no one who mattered listened. If the ‘20s were fun, the ‘30s were not.

*1940s— America tried to be aloof, but that dream was shattered on December 7^th, 1941, a date that would “live in infamy.” Ike, MacArthur, and Patton helped win the war, ending four years of rationing and sacrifice for American families. And devastation for the world. The Nuclear Age began. Churchill presciently identified an “Iron Curtain.” The Berlin Airlift began. The Greatest Generation became the Greatest Generation. The United States became the world’s only true superpower, economically and militarily, pissing off the Soviets and every other would-be superpower. This, then, became the “American Century.”

*1950s— Back to the ‘20s as we came out of another World War and were dancing again. This time with Big Bands and legal alcohol! Sock hops, the Big Bopper, Elvis, and Ike. What’s not to like? A feel-good era of Red Ryder BB guns, slinkies, and Daniel Boone hats-- but the space race started between the United States and the Soviet Union. As did the Cold War.

*1960s— Started out okay but ended badly. Very badly. Race riots, Vietnam, Woodstock—sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Flower children. JFK, RFK and Martin Luther King, Jr., all assassinated. A ray of hope: we landed on the moon in July of 1969. The friggin’ moon! Oh, and I was born.

*1970s— War. Loss. Carter. Gas lines. Stagflation. Malaise. Hostages. Orange shag carpets. If the ‘70s were a car they would be an Edsel. If they were a food, they would be a Brussel sprout. If they were a person, they’d be a homeless addict. Despite all that, I can reflect fondly on the decade, as I was young and improving. Unlike the U.S. For $5 you could buy a “pet rock.” I played a lot of pinball.

*1980s— …And then the U.S. Olympic hockey team stunned the world. I mean stunned. And Ronald Reagan became the 40^th President of the United States of America. When America was still somewhat united. Pop music was upbeat. Reagan was re-elected in the biggest landslide in American history, only Minnesota abstaining. If the ‘70s were an Edsel, the ‘80s were a Mustang. Reagan’s policies really took effect in 1983 and ushered in the “17 Fat Years.” Don’t worry, be happy! The Berlin Wall fell. Life was good! My favorite decade.

*1990s— The ‘90s saw the creation of the World Wide Web, revolutionizing communication, commerce, and culture. For good, bad, and indifferent. Globalization, the European Union, Hip Hop. Bill Clinton and “it depends on what your definition of is is.” Most of us were still doing well, but many of us felt that something wasn’t right. Gulf War. Dot-Com bubble. “Defining deviancy down.” On a positive personal note, I got married and my wife and I had child #1. Ode to Joy.

*2000s— Just as the “Miracle on Ice” and Ronald Reagan ushered in the ‘80s with great optimism and a “can do” spirit, 9/11 cast a pall over this decade that could never quite be shaken. And then came the 2007-8 real estate crash and a recession. The fat years were over. Barack Obama was elected vowing to “fundamentally transform” America. Sadly, he did. Boy, did he ever. (Wife and I welcomed child #2. Ode to Joy again.)

*2010s— This decade saw the rapid rise of smartphones and social media platforms, a trend that continues today. “Apps” became ubiquitous. A.I. became “a thing.” There was a surge in cultural movements. (And virtue signaling.) D.E.I. was the order of the day. Donald Trump shocked the world when he was elected President of the United States in 2016. Trump Derangement Syndrome was born.

*2020s—Joe Biden was allegedly elected president in 2020, a “fact” that no one was allowed to question at the time, but which looks less and less factual today. Politicians used COVID-19 to lock down the world and force people to accept an experimental mRNA “vaccine” into their bodies. Donald Trump was elected again in 2024, as the people were sick of an obviously incompetent and senile husk of a man who was being used by far-left entities to advance a far-left agenda. This decade, now just past its midpoint, is hard to permanently characterize, of course-- other than by saying it has been fraught with inner tension, heightened division, rising skepticism, and increasing angst about the future. (I lost a brother in 2021 during the COVID lockdown. Horrendous.)

Welcome to another edition of “Today in Stoopid Stupid.” Fortunately, there is never any shortage of material for these posts. To wit:

*Sam Hawgood, a pediatrician-- and the chancellor of UC-San Francisco—recently appeared before a congressional hearing on DEI in med schools to state, “the vast majority of pregnancies are in women.” The vast majority, you say? That is like saying the “vast majority” of those born will pass away at some point. Or, the “vast majority” of people with fully functioning vaginas are women. Brilliant. Thank God for medical experts.

*After Egypt’s loss to Argentina in the FIFA World Cup, Egyptian commentator Mohammed Nour posted a video in which he claimed Israel was to blame for his country’s 3-2 loss. Say what?! Nour claimed that Yair Netanyahu, the son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was somehow involved—and added, "We played against Argentina, but also against FIFA and Israel.” Alrighty then. Of course, Egyptian authorities also once detained a stork on suspicion of it being an Israeli spy. True story. The vile but ever-growing ranks of anti-Semites now have something else to hang on the Jews. Lose a game? Blame Israel!

*Speaking of stupid, Americans are reading less, and, in many cases, dramatically so. It is not much of an exaggeration to say that we are entering a postliterate world. (As reading skills decline, so does writing competency.) More troubling yet, IQ scores have been falling lately, too. And it’s no coincidence that the decline in reading skills and intelligence is happening simultaneously. But what the hell, we have AI, right?

*The NOAA currently estimates that there is an 81% chance that there will be a “Super” El Niño during the months of October thru December, perhaps the strongest recorded since 1950. And, right on cue, “AID” groups such as CARE are warning that this unusually strong El Niño could worsen health and humanitarian risks for women, particularly those in “marginalized” communities already adversely affected by food insecurity, water shortages, and reduced access to medical care. According to an article purportedly by “John Ghost,” from a publication called “When In Your State,” we must understand that “Women can face disproportionate harm during disasters because existing inequalities often increase their caregiving responsibilities, exposure to violence, and difficulty accessing health services and financial resources.” Bad weather disproportionately affects women? First of all, there aren’t any systemic existing inequalities, at least not ones disfavoring women. And is it still not the case that far more men than women are firefighters, storm chasers, police officers, National Guard members, ambulance drivers, construction workers, and the like? You can’t fix stupid. But you can laugh at it.

 

Gov. Walz Says Of Serial Pedophile Rapist-- We Shouldn't "All Be Judged By Our Worst Day"

 

Per Front Page Magazine:

“On June 10, 2026, the Minnesota Clemency Review Commission voted to grant a pardon for Tou Lue Vang, a criminal illegal alien from Laos. Vang had been convicted in 2006 of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. According to court filings, Vang repeatedly sexually assaulted a girl between 2002 and 2004. On one occasion, he tried to offer his victim $10 to keep quiet about the sexual assaults. While being interviewed by police, he tried to justify his actions by saying that for him ‘it is a cultural thing…to marry and have sex with girls as young as 12.’ He also claimed that the victim was just as guilty as him and should also be arrested.”

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz signed off on the pardon. The girl was 10-years-old when Vang first raped her. Twelve-years-old when he last did. (Perhaps not even old enough to need a Tampon, Tim.) The Trump administration was ultimately able to deport him anyway. He should not have been pardoned. Or even deported. He should have been executed. Molesting little girls is not a “cultural” thing, it is an evil thing, regardless of what Vang’s alleged “culture” promotes or “tolerates.” Asserting that a 10-year-old girl is as responsible for what transpired as he is…is also evil.

Pardoning a refugee who sexually abused a 10-year-old girl, to prevent him from being deported seems almost unimaginably despicable, even for Walz. But apparently not. Walz subsequently attacked the Trump administration for deporting the heinous immigrant, saying, “I guess the question I would ask is, ‘Did that make us any safer?’” I guess the reply with which I would answer the governor is, “Of course it does, asshat. Whenever serial violent criminals and pedophiles are removed from society it always makes us safer. It cannot be otherwise.”

Incredibly, Walz also said this: “Did it improve the idea that we can’t all be judged by our worst day?” Stop right there! He raped a 10-year-old girl…and then continued to do so for months and years! One rape of a 10-year-old is more than enough to judge someone. But continuing to rape that child over time?

Were Walz and his ilk so nonjudgemental and tolerant of the Jan. 6ers who strolled through the People’s House without raping anyone? No, basically they said “fry ‘em!”

Should the Nazis have been judged by their worst day, when they came up with the idea of incinerating the Jews? And continued doing so for years, much as Vang continued assaulting his prepubescent victim?

It wouldn’t matter what day, month, or year you picked to peek in on Walz-- by his words and actions you’d find he’s a monster. And, for all of that, his worst—and most illuminating-- day might have been the one during which he uttered that disgusting sentence. And you’re damn sure right I judged him for it.

 

The E.U. Says Keep Your Eyes On The Road Because Big Brother's Eyes Are On You

 

The EU recently announced that its new “life-saving systems” for vehicles have gone into effect as of July 7^th. This mandates that all cars and vans meet requirements for expanded safety glass, new tests for worn tires, emergency brake detections, and most notably, an “advanced driver distraction warning system to keep drivers focused.” What is this warning system, you ask? Welcome to eye-tracking cameras. These ADDW systems are required to monitor where the driver is looking at all times. According to official EU documents, “The presence of the driver’s gaze shall be monitored by the ADDW system in the areas of interest.” Areas of interest? To whom?

The new rules define “distraction” areas as: the driver’s lap, the center console, and behind the driver’s seat, among others.

Republicans recently argued against similar technology being made mandatory in the U.S., including both passive and active monitoring tools, some of which can be powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Some officials have been lobbying for these infrared cameras that track a driver’s eye movements and pupil dilation, and also for “cockpit-embedded sensors” that would estimate a driver’s blood alcohol levels via that person’s breath or skin contact.

What could go wrong?

EU official: Where are your eyes looking? Hey, over here! Back on the glass directly in front of you! Your hand has been in your lap for 45 seconds now, what’s up with that? Whoa, what’s going on in the back seat! And what are you drinking?

Like COVID-19 lockdowns and gun control measures, this is not about safety. It is not about where the drivers’ eyes are looking. It is about the government’s eyes on the drivers. You and I. As with Flock cameras, imbedded chips, digital currency, etc., etc. How does it feel knowing Big Brother is focused on you?

We have already gone way too far down a road that ought not have been travelled.

The authorities have every moment of that trip on film. And we weren’t happy about it. They could see it in our eyes.  

Some In Congress Really Are Anti-America

 

There is a moronic but popular sports-talk radio host in the Twin Cities, Dan Barreiro, who uses a quote from Sarah Palin as part of the lead-in to his weekly Wednesday segment with local “political wonk” Pat Kessler, a long-time lefty who worked for WCCO for decades. Barreiro, who considers himself the very soul of moderation, employs the quote to mock Palin, as if her quote was demonstrably false, indeed preposterous. Palin’s quote? “I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out are they pro-America or anti-America.” The offputtingly smug host of the “Bumper to Bumper” show apparently has no idea that a great number of today’s Democrats, “Progressives,” and Democrat Socialists of America, including some in Congress, have repeatedly stated their disdain for the U.S., and have openly shared their desire for violent revolution and the utter destruction of the American “imperialist empire.”

Take, for example, repulsive Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who recently spoke at something called the 'People's Conference for Palestine.’ (Note to Barreiro: “Rep.” means she is in Congress.) Tlaib stated: "Look at this room, motherf***ers, we ain't going anywhere! The political structures that I have to work in, that we all are surrounded by, was built on slavery, and genocide, and rape, and oppression. Real change doesn't come from the cowards and warmongers in Congress, it comes from the streets. It comes from all of us mobilizing and seizing the power to resist and fight back." She seems nice. She added, "Gaza is the compass in this country,“ and, chillingly, “Now we're in Congress and we're in every corner of the United States." Tlaib apparently believes Jan. 6 was a dark day indeed, but the Oct. 7 torture and slaughter of men, women, and children was a day of celebration and the way forward.

It is no longer enough for Democrats to try to “fundamentally transform” the (formerly) United States, something one wouldn’t do if one respected and appreciated it. Now, the cool kids in the DSA want to destroy it. The DSA’s platform endorses “scrapping the U.S. Senate, ‘abolishing the carceral forces of the capitalist state,’ defunding the police and Department of War, open borders forever, amnesty for each and every illegal immigrant, and replacing the president and Supreme Court. Of course, what and who they really want to replace is you, the patriotic middle-class voter in “fly-over country.” That their policies would necessarily destroy you as citizens is a feature not a bug. Their goal is the same as that of every Marxist/Communist tyrant that has ever lived: complete control of you and eternal power for themselves. The founders knew this. That is why The Left demonizes and despises them…and why they try so hard to get you and I to do so, as well. But the founders studied all of history and embarked on a nearly impossible journey to grant us a limited government of, by, and for, the people. Against all odds, they succeeded, and we were bequeathed documents meant to forever enshrine our “unalienable” rights, granted to us by our Creator. (By the way, these documents made it a virtual fait accompli that slavery would soon end in America, even as it was still practiced in various other countries, something the American media would never tell you.)

The Democrat Party has undergone a remarkable transformation, having been “fundamentally transformed” itself. (Emphasis on “trans.”) Whereas it was once openly hostile and racist to blacks, it is now openly hostile and racist to whites, Christians, heterosexuals, and patriots…even while continuing to promote policies extremely detrimental to black people. That is truly remarkable. Or what some people would call evil, myself included.

In many ways, Graham Platner was the perfect modern-day face of the Democrat Party: (“alleged”) sexual abuser, Communist, etc., etc. His last reported words to election officials as he announced his decision to exit the race? “F*ck ICE. Free Palestine. Up the hearts.”

Well, he’s not exactly John Adams or Thomas Jefferson, but whatever…right?

There are many on the left that simply do not believe in the concepts—or existence-- of good and evil…except when it comes to demonizing those with whom they disagree. Not for the unfettered killing of babies for personal convenience? You are the devil. Want to make America great again? You are Hitler. Prefer Christianity over Islam? Bigoted Islamophobe! Like to engage in dialogue on these topics with students at colleges? Then you deserve to die.

At this point, the pertinent question isn’t whether anyone in Congress is anti-America, but whether there are many who are truly pro-America…and for the right reasons.

 

Of Marxists And Morons

 

Most of us have heard the horrific figures: Communism/Marxism was responsible for more than 100 million deaths in the 20th century alone.

There are two preconditions necessary for people to accept or even welcome Communism: one, frustration with current economic and/or political conditions, and two, a moral decay that generates a disdain for work and an excessive entitlement mentality that demonizes others’ success, accomplishments, and wealth. For far too many, this demonization of what others have leads not unto desire to make the right decisions and work hard enough to earn it yourself, but unto envy, greed, wrath and sloth, four of the Seven Deadly Sins. And a demand that much of what others’ have be confiscated and handed over to one’s self and one’s demographic group…without one having to work for it. This, as history clearly shows, is an automatic death sentence for a society. Every time. In every case. Whether it be the erstwhile Soviet Union, its satellite in Cuba, Pol Pot’s Cambodia, or, more recently, previously wealthy Venezuela.

It could not possibly be otherwise. If I work hard, say, for 60-hour weeks, and I and my family are not going to be very appreciably better off than someone who is unemployed and able to sit on his couch all day because of my tax money, it would literally be immoral, as well as against human nature, for me to continue to do so. Why? Because I would not only be allowing the excessive and arbitrary taxation of my earned labor, while robbing myself of precious time with my family, but quite possibly, in the long term, degrading my health. And subjecting myself to various opportunity costs/losses.

Margaret Thatcher famously said, “The problem with Socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.” That in itself is spot-on, but there is far more to it than that.

Ayn Rand: “There is no difference between Communism and Socialism, except in the same ultimate end: Communism proposes to enslave men by force, Socialism by the vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide.”

When people address this issue, they almost always start by saying, “Capitalism with all its faults…” I am not willing to do that. This is life. This is Earth, not heaven. In this sense, Capitalism doesn’t have any faults. True Capitalism does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex…or anything else. The supply and demand curve determines what price any given product can bear. Charging less than that is not altruistic, but stupid and fraught with possible bias. Nothing can be truly worth other than what people will pay for it. That is why art is so subjective. One person looks at a painting and thinks, “I’d pay anything for that masterpiece,” another says to herself, “You couldn’t pay me to take this ridiculous piece of crap home.”

In command (Communist/Marxist/Socialist) economies, one or a very few people determine what the cost of any given item “should be.” Since there is no market feedback, their biases come into play. Lots of them. Shockingly, these biases always lead to a handful of leaders living well, and everyone else being paupers and puppets.

It is anything but a coincidence, a fluke, that the United States quickly became the largest and most innovative economy on planet Earth. Entrepreneurship explodes when people are potentially rewarded for their effort, creativity, and dogged determination. All ships do rise with the tide. The “poor” in America are still better off than all but the rich of many nations today. But supporters of Communism would rather everyone be less well off but closer in income than everyone being far better off with a greater income disparity. There is a word for that. It’s called evil.

Capitalism pulled countless millions—perhaps even billions—out of poverty in recent decades. Even China, Laos, and Vietnam were forced to go to market economies, despite their Communistic social policies.

Younger members of today’s Democrat Party-- or should I say, the Democrat-Socialist Party—have recently and rather suddenly embraced the “teachings” of Karl Marx’s “The Communist Manifesto” and “Das Kapital.”

That kind of ignorance and immorality does not just show up organically. It has to be very carefully inculcated. And that is what our colleges and universities are for.

The U.S., under JFK and Ronald Reagan, ultimately won the Cold War, essentially without firing a shot. Now it appears a Cold Civil War may be looming at some point in the future. One that, sadly, would have to be fought and won if this nation were to survive. Because, as Churchill said, “It is better to perish than live as slaves.” And make no mistake, if you are living under Communism, you are a slave…to the state.
