In
one of history’s most preposterous (and pathetically comical) ruses, Iran’s
IRGC has produced a 26-page-long letter to the American people, in which it repeatedly urges Americans to vote
against the villainous President Donald Trump and his rascally Republicans…amidst
a veritable sea of bald-faced lies, projection, and simple untruths. In one
sense, it is fairly sophisticated in its attempt to fool, um, “low-information”
Americans and prey on their suicidal empathy. Yet, it so whitewashes the Quran
and Iran’s tyrannical, fanatical, terror-sponsoring leaders as to come across
as breathtaking farce.
In a section titled “The
Main Factors Underpinning Iran’s Victory,” it cites “The Quran’s superior
doctrine and worldview.” The “letter” goes on to state: “Arguably, the primary
factor responsible for Iran’s victory in its clash with two armies that enjoy
almost limitless resources is having a leader who is carefully chosen in
accordance with a set of criteria inspired by the tenets of the Quran, a leader
whose virtue, justness, and competence must be ascertained beyond any
reasonable doubt by a body of independent and learned jurists appointed
directly by the people.” Well, that couldn’t be any further from the
truth. Now tell us the one about the Three Bears.
Summoning
even more chutzpah, the communication claimed that “Quranic doctrine” is based
on the principles of “honesty, liberty, equality, social equity, respect for
the rights of others, political discernment, compassion, and the priority of
human values over personal desires.” Honesty? Like that so clearly shown in
this letter? Liberty? Like that your people enjoyed prior to 1979? Equality,
social equity, and respect for the rights of others? Guess I’ll ask the
families of the countless thousands of citizens-- of various countries-- that
you and the terrorist groups you sponsor have slaughtered. Or perhaps we can
just look at your women, draped in tarps and without the right to bare arms,
legs, or anything else. Or, in many cases, to drive or leave home without a
male chaperone. Typically they do have the “right” not ot be beaten by their
husbands…with anything larger than a thumb.
At
one point, the missive states, “it should be fairly obvious that the phrase ‘Death
to America,’ which Iranians have been chanting since the triumph of the Islamic
Revolution, does not in any way express any ill will toward the American people.”
This is beyond Orwellian, akin to something a hyper-woke DSA candidate might
say. Wishing the death of America, and therefore Americans (and calling it/us
“The Great Satan”) does not in any way express any ill will
toward the American people? Sure. And abortion is “women’s healthcare,” and
Lindsay Clancy was a “darn good mother.” (I say was, because, you know, she
recently killed all of her children.)
The
letter goes on (and on and on) to ask “How Can the U.S. Be Saved?” Remarkably,
it references both the Old Testament and the “Qur’an (13:11),” stating, “God does
not alter the affairs of a people until they alter their own affairs.” This may
actually be the case. If so, Americans must laugh at this letter and proceed to
try to save their country. Iran’s leaders have already altered their own
affairs, and that of the tens of thousands of their own citizens they have
slaughtered. We’ll all be watching to see what God does next.
The
message further read, “Despite all the hardships that our enemies impose on us,
we will continue fighting, as we have done for the past 47 years, for the
liberation of humanity from tyranny and ignorance.” (See also, their women in
tarps. And the 52 Americans held hostage for 444 days during the Jimmy Carter
abetted “Hostage Crisis.”)
Incredibly,
the letter asserted, “We can live together in peaceful coexistence,” and closed
with “We pray for an imminent end to oppression and aggression, for the
liberation of all nations from the grip of tyrants, for a life of loving
fellowship and universal peace.” May as well have been written by Hitler,
Stalin, or Mao.
In
truth, the 26-page piece of Persian propaganda boils down to this: “’Death to
America’ or ‘Vote Democratic’ is same thing. Thank you.”
On
second thought, truer words were never spoken.
