Do Michigan Jews Have A "Moral Obligation" To Vote For A Muslim That Disdains Them?

On a recent episode of the "Pod Save America" podcast, co-host-- and former Obama aide-- Jon Lovett, stated that Jewish folks in Michigan should vote for Abdul El-Sayed, the state’s Muslim Democratic U.S. Senate nominee.

Lovett: "So Donald Trump says there that any Jew would be ashamed to vote for Abdul, and there's a debate among Jews in Michigan about whether to vote for Abdul. I just want to be very clear, Jews in Michigan have a moral obligation to support Abdul.” He added, “They should do it to protect themselves from antisemitism and rising hatred in America." Well, that makes perfect nonsense. Abdul El-Sayed and his family have documented links to the Muslim Brotherhood…and even to al-Qaeda and Hamas.

So, once again, a Democrat has gone full Orwell. Does Lovett actually think that Jews in Michigan have a death wish, are too stupid to live, or are spectacularly susceptible to lying, gaslighting, and indoctrination? This is insanity on steroids.

Did the Jews held in German concentration camps during World War II have a “moral obligation” to vote for members of the Nazi party? Oh, wait, they couldn’t vote. And there were no more elections once the Nazis seized power.

Did the first eligible black voters in the erstwhile Confederacy have a “moral obligation” to vote for plantation-owning Democrats who were members of the KKK? Imperial wizards?

On a much smaller scale, should a white, Christian conservative be considered to have a “moral obligation” to vote for a school board member that is openly anti-white, anti-Christian, and pro-Marxist? A moral effing obligation?

What if this lunacy was turned around? Would Abdul El-Sayed have a bleeping “moral obligation” to vote for, say, a rabidly anti-Islamic man who thinks all Muslims should be converted, enslaved, or exterminated? But, of course, that doesn’t happen.

I believe we in the United States have a moral obligation to defend ourselves and our history. To see that our children and grandchildren have at least a chance to be free, safe, and prosperous. To worship how they will, and vote for whomever they want to represent them.

And I believe that I have a moral obligation to do what I can to see that they do.

We all do.
