In
the days preceding the arrival of the Mayflower, the land that is now America
was a vast, sparsely settled wilderness. Most of the few allegedly “indigenous”
peoples here were nomadic. They themselves arrived here by crossing the then
land bridge from what is now Russia. Tribal wars were common. There were no
buildings or infrastructure.
After
the English and other Europeans arrived, civilization took hold. This
eventually led to homes, roads, schools, hospitals, heat, air-conditioning,
lighting, phones, television, insurance, computers, the internet, movies, video
games, free markets, disposable income, the automobile, airplanes, advanced
medicine and surgery, greatly increased life expectancy, and generational
wealth. Oh, and recognition of the inherent rights granted us by our Creator.
And
the pathetic grifters that have emigrated to the West from places like Somalia
in recent years mock and despise us, even after being the recipients of
unearned lucre and empathy? What sane and self-respecting European, Canadian,
or American would tolerate this? How the hell did so many of us allow a fringe
group of radical, dimwitted, inbred, aggressive, and hyper-lustful practitioners
of the Religion of Peace™ into our countries? (For that matter, that is not a
totally inaccurate description of the throngs of Karens and AWFULs among us.)
From
1492 until 1820, only about 2.6
million people emigrated to what became the United States in or
around 1776. 2.6 million people in 328 years. By contrast, it is likely that
tens of millions of people illegally crossed our borders during the Biden
administration.
So,
here is the definition
of “colonization:”
1) the action or process of settling among
and establishing control over the Indigenous people of an area:
2) the action of appropriating a place or
domain for one's own use:
And,
in an ecological sense: the action by a plant or animal of establishing
itself in an area.
I
have often marveled in my writings—here and elsewhere-- at those who purport to
believe that every illegal alien immeasurably enriches this country, while
every invasive species is a dire threat to our native land.
Western
nations, most of whom were once safe and prosperous, are now coming apart at
the seems due to a massive influx of military age male Muslims and assorted
other illegals from places that have no knowledge of – or respect
for—individual freedoms and the rule of law, our cultures and norms, our way of
life. And whose homelands, such as they may be, contributed nothing to the
advancement of the human condition. And yet who are demanding that the
countries to which they emigrated follow their cultural norms, their
religious beliefs…even while setting the indigenous peoples’ churches afire and
sucking money from their wallets via massive fraud and suicidal empathy on the
part of crazed leftists.
In
conclusion, I ask you: who are the real colonizers?
Hint:
it isn’t Americans or white Europeans.
One more time: leftists
purport to believe that, if an immigrant gives birth here the day she arrives,
the baby is inarguably a precious and invaluable American citizen with all the
attendant rights of one whose family arrived on these shores in, say, the
1700s. Well, actually with far more rights. Because, if you are a
straight, white, Christian whose family emigrated to the United States in the
1700s, and who has served in the military and been an exemplary citizen, the
very same leftists will call you a “colonizer,” “bigot,” “Xenophobe.”
Who is more “indigenous,” a
working man or woman whose family has been here since Plymouth Rock or
Jamestown, or a burka-clad woman from Somalia that arrived here late last
month? Another astounding bit of hypocrisy: leftists celebrate abortion until
birth—and now after birth—but are deliriously happy when illegal aliens successfully
give birth to four, five, six—or more—kids. Amazing.
Should make one wonder why.
