English Woman Suffocates Her Two Young Daughters

Louise Porton, a 23-year-old English woman, was recently found guilty of killing her two young daughters because they “got in the way” of her sex life, the BBC reported. She has been jailed for life, though she will be eligible for parole after 32 years.
What’s worse, Birmingham Crown Court Judge Amanda Yip called her “calculated” and “evil.” Judge Yip apparently doesn’t understand that words can hurt and “labels can disable.” The intolerant, holier-than-thou judge went on to tell Porton, “These were blameless young children who were plainly vulnerable and ought to have been able to rely on their mother to protect and nurture them. Instead you took their young lives away.” Apparently, Judge Yip is some kind of fundamentalist Christian, pro-life wacko.
Porton suffocated three-year-old Lexi Draper and 17-month-old Scarlett Vaughn within a three-week period in 2018. The prosecutor stated during the trial that he believed Porton saw her children as getting “in the way of her doing what she wanted when she wanted and with whom she wanted.”
What a perfect characterization…… of why women get abortions. Porton isn’t a murderer. She’s a pro-choice pioneer. A leader in the drive for a woman’s right to an “after-birth abortion.” She is bravely standing up for women’s right to comprehensive “health care.”
Porton shouldn’t be in prison. She should be among those seeking to become the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nominee.

University Of Michigan To Hold "Psychedelic Neuroscience Symposium"

Scientists at the University of Michigan’s “Center for Conscious Science” will hold an on-campus symposium in September in which they will explore “psychedelics,” or mind-altering drugs, in a purported attempt to “study the effects and potential medical uses of various psychoactive substances.” “Psychedelic Neuroscience Symposium” officials are urging neuroscientists, cognitive scientists, psychologists and clinicians to attend the gala.
Psychedelic drugs include substances such as psilocybin mushrooms and LSD and can significantly alter consciousness and lead to bizarre audio-visual experiences. These potentially dangerous substances act primarily upon the central nervous system, where they can also cause temporary changes in perception, mood, emotion and behavior. Who knew Woodstock was a “Psychedelic Neuroscience Symposium?”
Democrats are apparently already taking part in the new study if their recent debates are any indication.

"So Proud"

The stories are now legion: a celebrity-- or other figure-- reveals how proud he, she or they is/are that their spouse, son, daughter, father, mother, grandparent or priest has come out as homosexual, bisexual or pansexual. The latest, apparently, is Brooks Laich, a Canadian ice hockey player whose wife, Julian Hough, came out as “not straight” in a recent interview. Hough, a 31-year-old professional dancer, “stripped down” for Women’s Health magazine’s Naked Strength issue and “opened up” about telling her husband of her sexuality, according to a foxnews.com report. Hough informed Women’s Health that she told her hubby: “You know I’m not straight, right?” (This seems a bit presumptuous insofar as she is married to him and the couple has presumably been routinely consummating their nuptials). To which Laich replied, “I’m sorry, what?” (Lending credence to my previous observation). Hough added, “I think there’s a safety with my husband now that I’m unpacking all of this.” He may well have wished Hough had left some “of this” packed.
Nonetheless, in true woke fashion, Laich wrote an Instagram post after Hough’s magazine spread was published.  It stated: “So proud of my wife @juleshough for the woman she is, and her courage to share her journey of trials and triumphs!” Laich added, “Love you so much, babe!” Apparently, the feeling isn’t entirely mutual.

The typical report of a man finding out his wife is “not straight” goes loosely as follows:

Man-- “I am so PROUD of my wife for coming out as a lesbian. I support her 100% in whatever she does. And for whomever she is or may become or identify as. To be perfectly straight with you, I was thrilled to discover she wasn’t straight. I couldn’t be prouder to realize that I am not man enough—or person enough—to satisfy her physical needs and desires. And when I realized that she never mentioned anything like this to me before we “got together,” I thought that-- just maybe-- I played a small part in her preference for women over men… and my heart swelled anew! I was SO PROUD that she came out in public, too, rather than just keeping it between us! Now the whole world knows the special relationship and joy we share! I must admit, I am proud of that, as well! And then, when she told me she has had literally dozens of female lovers in the few years we have been together, my heart fairly burst with PRIDE! I am even PROUD of being PROUD of her! In short, I just couldn’t be PROUDER!! Unless, of course, she came out as pangender or transgender…or both. Yup, so bleeping proud.”

Second Democratic Debate Recap: The Debacle In Detroit

Second Democratic Debates: The Debacle In Detroit—Highlights?
July 30 & 31, 2019
CNN Hosting, Don Lemon Moderator

Tuesday, July 30:

Lemon: “Mayor Buttigieg, given the president’s overt hatred of all living things, is anything bugging you tonight?”

Buttigieg: “Yes, there is a smashed bug on my forehead. It’s disgusting, but I don’t want to draw attention to it by removing it. I don’t wish to give Trump the satisfaction. I’d probably get a new nickname.”

Lemon: “Indeed. Sen. Klobuchar, what do you say to those Trump voters who prioritize the economy over the president’s bigotry?”

Klobuchar: “Well, Don, I have had it with the racist attacks. I have had it with a president that says one thing on TV, that he has your back, and then you get home and you see those charges for prescription drugs and cable and college. We shouldn’t have to pay for any of those things. In fact, we shouldn’t have to pay for anything at all.”

Lemon: “Marianne Williamson, given Trump’s desire to imprison or kill everyone in the LGBTQIIA+ community, preferably in the most painful ways possible, how would you fundamentally change the tone coming out of the Oval Office?”

Williamson: “Don, my dear Donald…we all just need to take a deep breath and cleanse ourselves of the hatred and jealousy. If we get our chakras right, everything else will be okay, despite Trump’s dark, psychic force.”

Wednesday, July 31:

Don Lemon: “Vice-President Biden, would there be any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking, in the Biden Administration?”

Biden: “No. We would work it out, and make sure it’s eliminated, and no more subsidies for either one of those. Any fossil fuel. I’d be the only fossil allowed in my administration. Hee, hee.”

Lemon: “Good one! Rep. Gabbard, do you believe the United States should have gone to war in Iraq?”

Gabbard: “This current president is continuing to betray us. We were supposed to be going after al Qaeda, but over years now, not only have we not gone after al Qaeda… our president is supporting al Qaeda.”

Lemon: “Yes. Senator Booker, do you think Vice-President Biden is equipped to handle criminal justice reform?”

Booker: “Mr. Vice-President, there’s a saying in my community: ‘You’re dipping into the Kool-Aid, and you don’t even know the flavor.”

Biden: “Hope it’s not Guyana Grape! Oh-three-oh-three-oh-three-oh. I’ve found my three-oh ♪on Blueberry Hill…♫”

Lemon: “Alrighty then. Senator Gillibrand, given President Trump’s obvious repulsiveness and love of pathological behavior, what would be the first thing you would do upon entering the Oval Office?”

Gillibrand: “The first thing I would do is Clorox the Oval Office.”

Lemon: “What, it’s not white enough for you?! You have to bleach it?”

Gillibrand: “That’s not what—”

Lemon: “Anyway, Mr. Yang, some Democratic politicians believe we only have 10 or 12 years to fix climate change. Given that Trump hates planet Earth, do we even have that long?”

Yang: “It’s already too late. We’re screwed. I propose to give everyone in the world $1,000 to help them get to higher ground. That’s the only chance we’ve got. We’ve all got to get to higher ground. Immediately.”

Lemon: “Mayor de Blasio, since we know that Trump likes to torture animals and eat babies, what do you say to those who claim you have been ineffective at best in running New York City?”

De Blasio: “F**k them! We need to tax the hell out of the rich, Don. It’s the only way.”

Lemon: “No doubt. Former HUD Secretary Castro, since Trump’s favorite historical figure is Adolf Hitler, how would you try to heal the deep wounds that he has inflicted on the American populace?”

Castro: “I believe in open borders. Wide open. Actually, no borders at all. That should heal everything. I also believe that Trump is a racist.”

Lemon: “Right on, brother! Sen. Harris, given that Trump is fond of bestiality and pedophilia, what would you……”

Tolerance And Abortion

Progressives always say, “we must be inclusive.” Then they say, “abortion is a right.”

They say, “We must be welcoming to those that are different from us.” Then they say, “abortion is health care.” They say, “We must take care of the most vulnerable in society or what does it say about us?” Then they say, “If a baby survives an abortion attempt, we’ll leave it up to the mother—with possible input from the father-- to decide if it should be allowed to live.”
They say: “Republicans want to ruin health care. Kill babies! Republicans want to throw your grandmother off a cliff. Kill babies! Republicans want dirty air and water. Kill babies! Republicans want to lynch people of color. Kill babies! Where is the civility? Kill babies! Republicans are mean-spirited. Kill babies! Capitalists are cruel. Kill babies! There is no difference between men and women. Kill babies! There are 63 genders. Kill babies! Fracking kills! Kill babies! Climate change is real, man-caused and dangerous. Kill babies! Trump separates children from their parents at our southern border…that’s sick! Kill babies!! Columbus disrupted Native American lives. Kill babies! Cigarettes can cause cancer. Kill babies! We have to protect our kids from tobacco! Kill babies! (And legalize marijuana)! Wear your seat belt. Kill babies! Get plenty of exercise, eat your vegetables and get a good night’s sleep. And kill babies! Make sure your young ones wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Kill babies! Tell your kids not to accept candy from strangers. Kill babies! Don’t let your children grow up to be cowboys. Kill babies! Don’t smoke during your pregnancy. Kill babies! Don’t drink when you’re nursing. Kill babies!”

There you have it: inclusive, welcoming and tolerant…abortion. I know, right?

Polyamory, The New Gay Marriage

Psychologists based at California universities are leading the American Psychological Association (APA) in putting together a task force to study “consensual non-monogamy,” in order to reduce the stigma attached to those who practice it. The Golden State shrinks hope to promote “awareness and inclusivity about consensual non-monogamy and ‘diverse expressions of intimate relationships.’” (Well, I personally start with a goat, two dildos, eggnog, a turkey baster, and a can of spam…”).
The APA’s task force Division 44 website proclaims: "Finding love and/or sexual intimacy is a central part of most people’s life experience. However, the ability to engage in desired intimacy without social and medical stigmatization is not a liberty for all. This task force seeks to address the needs of people who practice consensual non-monogamy, including their intersecting marginalized identities. The APA Division 44 Consensual Non-monogamy Task Force promotes awareness and inclusivity about consensual non-monogamy and diverse expressions of intimate relationships. These include but are not limited to: people who practice polyamory, open relationships, swinging, relationship anarchy and other types of ethical non-monogamous relationships." Relationship anarchy? Sounds like what people with more than two kids experience.
Division 44 also sports a Religion and Spirituality Task Force, with the professed desire to “reduce theological barriers often separating sexual minorities from the sources of their beliefs." (I hate to be an old fuddy-duddy, but sometimes those barriers were placed there for a good reason). Those wishing to become task force members are asked whether they agree with a series of statements such as: “I support generating research and promoting awareness of issues facing individuals engaged in consensual non-monogamy with multiple marginalized identities,” and “I support including consensual non-monogamy as a legally protected class.” Multiple marginalized identities? MMI?
Heath Schechinger is a psychologist at the University of California-Berkeley and co-chair of the APA’s Division 44 Consensual Non-monogamy Task Force (DFFCN-MTF). His website says he “specializes in providing sex therapy and working with alternative relationships and lifestyles, diverse sexualities, couples/partners, and infidelity,” and adds that he “has considerable experience in working with concerns related to polyamory/open relationships, kink, TGNC/NB, and LGBQIA.” Kink? Do we have to add a ‘K’ to LGBTQIIA?” I honestly did not know what TGNC/NB stood for. Sadly, after a little research, that is no longer the case. It stands for the “Transgender, Non-Conforming, Non-Binary” community. “LGBTGNC/NBQIIA+?”
Reactionary, stick-in-the-mud, old curmudgeons like myself have long warned that the legalization of same-sex marriage would render marriage meaningless. After all, if marriage has naught to do with procreation, then why shouldn’t three men or four girls and a horse be able to legally marry? “Love is love,” right? There’s no more to it than that.
In an email to LifeSiteNews, psychologist Daniel Boland, an APA member for over 50 years, said of the polyamory taskforce: “The APA has abandoned all respect for fact-based research and scientific tradition. It has capitulated to the most unstable, most radical elements in our society.” He added, “Its abandonment of its original professionalism renders it no longer credible to the public or to its members.”
As others have noted, this is what happens when ideology replaces science. And it is happening ever more frequently across multiple disciplines.
Much as with gay marriage in years past, polyamory is gaining acceptance in popular culture. Willow Smith, singer-- and daughter of actor Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith-- recently declared herself polyamorous. The 18-year-old said she is equally attracted to men and women and averred that she would find fulfillment in a relationship with two other people. That particular arrangement is apparently known as a “throuple.” (As in, “Nobody knows the throuples I’ve seen!”). Willow recently told something called Red Table Talk, “I love men and women equally, and so I would definitely want one man, one woman. I feel like I could be polyfidelitous with those two people." How charmingly old-fashioned.
            And polyridiculous.

Girl Scouts Award Scout For Promoting Abortion

The Girl Scouts of America granted a high school sophomore its prestigious Girl Scouts Gold Award for promoting access to abortion. The sophomore told Tucson Life she’s “planning on hosting an event to educate people about and de-stigmatize access to ‘women’s healthcare.’” Access to “women’s healthcare” has never been stigmatized. Unfortunately, usage of preposterous euphemisms hasn’t been effectively stigmatized.
The award-winning sophomore also joined the Women’s March in protest of President Trump and his policies. The Girl Scouts have often been accused of promoting a left-wing worldview in recent years, with good reason. Many feel that significant evidence proves the organization has essentially become a tactical arm of Planned Parenthood, and sexualizes young girls through its influence. In fact, Planned Parenthood instructional materials are part of the core curriculum at Girl Scouts training seminars.
The GSA has recently changed the name of several of its most popular cookies, maybe because they’re made in different bakeries, maybe for politically-correct reasons. Do-si-dos have become trefoil cookies, tagalongs peanut butter patties and samosas caramel delites. (I mean, think about it: square dancing is so yesterday, no one wants to think of someone who isn’t really wanted on the journey, and cultural appropriation is a crime, right)?
More changes are imminent, now that progressives and Socialists are unabashedly ruling the day. One person close to the organization told me that the group will be introducing several new cookies for 2021. Thin Mints will go the way of the dinosaur due to the name’s implicit body-shaming. The cookie will henceforth be known as Healthy Yet Realistic Body Weight Mints. Venezuela Vanilla will join the line-up, as will Russian Teacakes, Planned Parenthood Peanut Butter Patties, Transgender Toffee Biscuits, Queer Wafers, Lesbian Lemonade Scones, and “Better Red Cake Than Dead Cookies.”
I don’t know about you, but my mouth is watering already. Put me down for two boxes of each!

Great News, Americans!

Great news, Americans! Not only is the stock market at an all-time high, so is support for polygamy! A recent Gallup poll on American values and beliefs found acceptance of multiple spouses is now the highest on record, with 17% of respondents saying the practice is “morally acceptable.” Experts caution that determining the exact cause of the trend is difficult. There has, of course, been a rapid and general increase in “liberal” views on social issues such as same-sex relationships and premarital sex. However, one Gallup analyst notes that support for polygamy in the U.S. has risen by nearly 10 percentage points in just the seven years the TLC show “Sister Wives” has been on the air. (If that pace continues, by our tricentennial, everyone in America will declare polygamy to be a right granted to us by our Creator).
It wouldn’t be the first time that the boob tube has helped change American values. The NBC sitcom Will & Grace featured several gay characters and is often credited with shifting American’s attitudes on gay rights. And there are numerous other examples.
The unprecedented general increase in progressive views on social issues in America has been proceeding apace for over 50 years now. While television has certainly played its part, so has academia, the mainstream media, Hollywood in general, and the ever-emboldened special-interest groups themselves.
I have no doubt that if Americans were now more thoroughly polled, their acceptance of pedophilia, frotteurisme, zoophilia, necrophilia, urophilia, klismaphilia, coprophilia, incest, and auto-erotic asphyxia would be the highest ever on record, as well.
Tolerance, diversity, and inclusiveness good! Judgement, values, and virtues bad!

Wisconsin Woman Named "Marijuana Pepsi" Receives PhD

A Wisconsin woman, who works full-time at Beloit College, has the real given name of Marijuana Pepsi Vandyck. And, according to a recent report in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, she earned a doctorate degree this past May, so is now officially Dr. Marijuana Pepsi…Vandyck.
Vandyck, 46, said she’s been teased all her life by classmates, teachers and bosses because of her name. She told the Journal-Sentinel, “Regardless of what they do, say or what they’re trying to put in place, you still have to move forward and succeed.” She noted that some people simply refused to call her by her real name, often opting for “Mary,” which she dismissed. She admitted, however, that she went by the initials MP when she worked as a real estate agent—so stoners wouldn’t steal her business signs.
Marijuana Pepsi’s mother, Maggie Johnson (!), bestowed the unusual name on her daughter. Despite the fact that she named Marijuana Pepsi’s sisters “Kimberly” and “Robin.” Despite her success, Vandyck, who neither smokes weed nor drinks pop, advises against naming kids after pot or illicit drugs.
Not surprisingly, she left her unstable home when she was 15 and has spent her life trying to prove herself. She vowed to earn her PhD soon thereafter, telling others “I’m going to be called Dr. Marijuana Pepsi.” Everybody has a dream. Though many go Up In Smoke.
So it was with great pride that she presented her dissertation, titled “Black names in white classrooms: Teacher behaviors and student perceptions,” to her instructors at Cardinal Stritch University. (For her dissertation, Vandyck interviewed other students whose teachers and classmates had focused on their names, according to the Journal-Sentinel report).
Happily—if ironically—Marijuana Pepsi has achieved her dream of getting a PhD in higher education leadership. She asserted: “I’ve grown into my name because I am a strong woman. I’ve had to be.”
Let’s hope this story doesn’t prompt others to give ridiculous names to their offspring. We’ll have enough problems in the near future without having to deal with a Dr. Magic Mushrooms Mountain Dew, a Dr. Opioid Sprite, a Dr. Cigarettes Fanta, a Dr. Downer Mello Yello, or a Dr. Heroin Coca-Cola. (Almost sounds redundant).
As for me, well, I prefer to be called Dr. Beer Dr. Pepper.

University Fellow Equates Air Travel With Random Gun Violence

Eric Holthaus, a meteorologist and fellow at the University of Minnesota’s Institute on the Environment, launched a preposterous and profane Twitter attack on Jason Rabinowitz recently, over the latter’s decision to fly to Madrid for no critically important reason. Rabinowitz, who hosts a podcast about airline travel, had found inexpensive round-trip tickets to Madrid-- from New York’s JFK International Airport—and was unafraid to use them. He apparently noted on his podcast that he was only making the trip because of the relatively low price of the tickets. This did not sit well with Holthaus (which in German translates into “brings the house”), who brought the house down on top of Rabinowitz, saying: “We are in a climate emergency. What the f**k are you thinking, you selfish, entitled asshole? People are literally dying because of this kind of shit.” He said “unnecessary” air travel should be illegal and cited “unexamined privilege” for creating the “biggest existential threat we’ve ever faced as a species.” Yes. Quite.
According to thecollegefix.com, Holthaus added: “This kind of behavior is the same as taking a gun and just firing blindly into the air towards a crowd just because you think it’s fun to shoot a gun. You don’t care who you’re hurting. You just care about yourself.”
In fact, hopping on an airplane is in no way like “taking a gun and just firing blindly into the air towards a crowd.” When you step onto a plane, none of the people around you will be harmed or killed. Attempting to make that analogy is akin to saying, “mowing your lawn is the same as randomly lobbing tactical nuclear missiles into neighboring territories just for your personal amusement.” Or that “eating beef is the same as murder. You don’t care who you’re hurting. You just care about yourself.”
And, what are the odds that Holthaus is untroubled by abortion?
Rabinowitz did not respond to Holthaus’s tweets. Holthaus later apologized, saying: “I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. I shouldn’t have used that word to describe a person and I apologize for it and will work on doing better.” However, he could not help adding that it’s the system as a whole that needs to change, and savaged civic leaders and the airline industry for their role in the “outrageous” and “permanent” destruction of the biosphere on “the only planet in the known universe that can harbor life.”
So, you’re saying we are unique, Mr. Holthaus? Possibly even derived from our Creator? I thought scientists believed life must be common around the universe? A garden-variety, non-miraculous result of a simple scientific numbers game, no?
The “biggest existential threat we’ve ever faced as a species” does indeed loom over us today. It isn’t global warming, however. It is our rejection of natural law and refusal to believe in anything greater than ourselves.
