Russian Nuclear Accident Obfuscated

                Rosatom, Russia’s state nuclear agency, recently admitted that five of its staff members were killed in an accident during tests involving engineering and technical support of new isotope power sources of a liquid propulsion system, according to a Rosatom statement. The tragedy occurred on a military site in northern Russia, near Arkhangelsk. No details were given.

                It had previously been reported that a liquid propellant rocket engine blew up, forcing authorities to close part of a bay in the white Sea to shipping and causing a spike in radiation levels in a nearby city. Regional media outlets have also reported that local residents have been stocking up on iodine, a substance used to lessen the effects of radiation exposure.

                As is typical, Russia’s Ministry of Defense was close-mouthed about the incident. In a brief statement released only after the story got out, the ministry said: “Nothing to see here. Is fake news.”

    A member of the general staff, on condition of anonymity, replied to a Western reporter’s question about the incident by saying, “Was only minor accident. How you say? A nuclear ‘boo-boo’ so-to-speak. Glowing? What glowing? Oh, that glowing. Is radiance of supremely happy Soviet citizens, basking happily in free and prosperous nation led by our Dear Leader esteemed President Vladimir Putin. Sorry, but I must go now. Do svidaniya!”

                The Media-Democratic Complex savaged President Trump for stating a simple, irrefutable fact: Rep. Elijah Cummings’ (D-Maryland) Baltimore is a rat-infested, crime-ridden city that Democrats have run into the ground, one in which no reasonable human being would want to live.

                The same Media-Democratic Complex was entirely untroubled by Bernie Sanders comparing much of Baltimore to a “Third World country” back in 2015.  It was similarly sanguine when Elijah Cummings himself referred to his hometown as a “DRUG INFESTED” place where people are “walking around like zombies.” CNN and MSNBC have employed the term “racist” over 1,100 times in characterizing Trump’s tweet. As far as I am aware, they have yet to describe either Bernie’s or Rep. Cummings’ words in a negative fashion…even once.  

                This is proof positive that any words the president could string together and tweet out would be met with derision and vitriol, whether that tweet was “I like ice cream,” “parts of America are beautiful,” or “I believe the Earth is round, not flat.”

                It would put today’s Democrats in a tough spot if he tweeted: “Socialism is the answer.”

                Many Baltimore residents agree with Trump’s assessment of the city, which sports the highest per-capita murder rate in America. Many have flooded Twitter with their own comments. And videos. Speaking of which, FOX45 reporter Maxine Steicher travelled to Baltimore’s Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood after Trump’s Tweet, to report on conditions in the neighborhood. The area is part of Rep. Cummings’ 7^th Congressional District. Improbably, a rat was seen scampering across the background of her live shot, proving that God has a sense of justice. And humor.

Hypocrisy, Thy Name Is Democrat

             The United States Senate recently—finally—voted to confirm Brian Buescher as a federal district judge for Nebraska via a 51-40 party-line vote. Buescher had faced scrutiny from Judiciary Committee Democrats due to his membership in an organization they found abhorrent. What is this dark, depraved and despicable group? The North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA)? The Church of Satan? Nope. The Knights of Columbus, a nominally Catholic fraternal organization dedicated to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.

            The sick bastard. It’s even worse than I thought.

How could he have possibly been confirmed?

Buescher was grilled by Democratic Senators Mazie Hirono (Hawaii) and Kamala Harris (California) late last year about his involvement with the twisted group. At the time, Hirono, referencing the society’s adherence to Catholic teaching on same-sex marriage, stated: “The Knights of Columbus has taken a number of extreme positions.” She then asked Buescher, “If confirmed, do you intend to end your membership with this organization to avoid any appearance of bias?” Societal mores (and consequently cohesions) have broken down so quickly in recent years that the age-old, virtually universally held idea that marriage should be between one man and one woman is now seen by many as an “extreme” position, held only by reactionary bigots, Trump supporters, and Nazis…effectively all one and the same.

But, I would ask, what have Hirono and Harris, among many other Democrats, done to “avoid any appearance of bias?” (Bias: “prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair”).

“The Squad” issues anti-Semitic statements as frequently as day turns into night. Democrats at all levels routinely hurl epithets at the president of the Untied States, calling him “racist,” “unstable,” “dangerous,” “cruel” and “misogynistic.” They say he is a “fascist,” and compare him to Hitler. They demonize Trump—and all his supporters—as xenophobic, moronic, bumpkins. “Deplorables” if you will. Or even if you won’t. They claim Republicans as a whole are “mean-spirited” and desirous of tossing your wheel-chair-bound grandmother off a high cliff just for sh*ts and giggles.

It is essentially impossible for a modern Democrat to be pro-capitalist, and/or pro-life and/or pro-God, as that goes against Party Orthodoxy. (These, too, are now considered “extreme” positions, beyond the pale of the tolerant and open-minded). That kind of heterodoxy is now grounds for banishment from the party that many claim Thomas Jefferson founded, an assertion with which I beg to differ. Jefferson once wrote, in a letter to Dr. Benjamin Rush, “I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.”

No wonder the Democratic Party has now banished Thomas Jefferson.

Bias? Thy name is Democrat. Leftists stand for nothing if not tyranny over the minds of man. (And women, too)! Climate change? “The science is settled.” Period. Deniers will not be tolerated. But may soon be prosecuted. If a man says he is a woman, you have no alternative but to believe her. And you better use her preferred pronouns or you could be fined. Own your own bakery and don’t wish to bake a cake for a gay wedding or to commemorate an abortion? Sorry, you have no choice. Want to say a prayer before taking a final in your calculus classroom? Das ist verboten.

El Paso Versus Dayton: A Tale Of Two Tragedies

                Leftists apparently believe there are good mass murders and bad mass murders. Perhaps even good mass murderers and bad mass murderers. How can I make such a sick suggestion?  Easy. Just look at the difference in coverage the two recent heinous tragedies have received from the mainstream (fake) media. The El Paso shooting has been given wall-to-wall, around-the-clock coverage, the perpetrator’s background and motives discussed ad nauseum. The Dayton disaster is primarily given play as regards the necessity of gun control in an America made violent almost solely by President Donald Trump, the shooter’s background and motives glossed over. So, if this is the case, how do progressives differentiate between them? Also easy. “Good” tragedies, those worthy of continuous airplay and thorough explanation, are those that are politically useful to them, whereas “bad” ones are those that tend to discredit their talking points.

              The El Paso madman was apparently looking for Mexicans to shoot, and, despite the fact that he explicitly stated Trump had nothing to do with his sick agenda, was easily thrust into the “violent, white, right-wing extremist” mold. The Dayton madman was apparently a leftist himself, and, ironically, a believer in gun control. Ergo, El Paso tragedy good, Dayton calamity not so good. The former is emphasized, the latter de-emphasized.

Reparations II

              Democrats are all about reparations. Reparations for slavery, of course. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) recently said, “everyone alive is responsible to do something now.” Say what? Rep. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) stated: “you see how deeply unfair this nation is still to so many people.” Booker grew up in a toney New Jersey suburb, the son of not one—but two—IBM executives.

             In the early ‘90s, the U.S. government sent checks to each of the surviving Japanese-Americans sent to internment camps at the outset of the nation’s involvement in World War II…by Democratic President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

             Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., recently reintroduced a bill titled the Refund Equality Act, which could fork over around $57 million in amended tax returns to married LGBT couples who wed prior to the Supreme Court ruling the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional in 2013. Prior to that date, though 10 states had already legalized same-sex marriage, they required each of the spouses to file their federal taxes as individuals. After DOMA was struck down, the couples were allowed to change their previous returns from individual to joint, but only for the prior three-year period. The Refund Equality Act would dispense with those time limits. This despite the fact that gay couples earn significantly more, on average, then do straight couples.

Sen. Warren also recently opined that Native Americans should be “part of the conversation” on reparations. While I am sensitive to the plight of Native Americans, they have received billions of dollars from the federal government in the past, and have been granted, in many cases, the right to own and operate extremely lucrative casinos, as well as vastly expanded hunting and fishing privileges.

Where does this stop? Who hasn’t been wronged? Do two wrongs make a right? Who is next in line for reparations? Transgenders? How much are they owed for their inexplicable, long-term exclusion from certain bathrooms and locker rooms? And what of those in the polyamorous community? Even today, in most states, they can’t legally get married. Which, of course, prevents them from filing their tax returns (doubly?) jointly. Don’t Catholics have a claim to reparations? They were persona non-grata in the early days of the union. The Irish, too, were shunned. “No Irish Need Apply” signs were hung outside of many an establishment in days of yore.

How about the families of the 620,000 or so soldiers who lost their lives in the Civil War? Are they not deserving? Come to think of it, did France and England repay relatives of those American soldiers who died in the European Theater of Operations during World War II? World War I? Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?

While we’re at it, if all living Caucasian Americans owe reparations to African-Americans, don’t all living Muslims—or at least all Saudi Muslims-- owe reparations to the families of those killed on 9/11? Or to the thousands of Christians slaughtered in the Middle East and Africa in recent years? Does Japan still owe the Chinese for the Rape of Nanking? Is China someday going to repay the hundreds of thousands of Muslims it has recently imprisoned without due process? What of the Balkan states? Who owes who reparations? Confusing, isn’t it?

Yet there is one group it is still okay to mock, slander and marginalize. To lie about, muzzle and physically assault. Who will see to reparations for conservatives? Wearing a “MAGA” cap is tantamount to placing a target on oneself. Many conservatives have arbitrarily lost their jobs—or been the victim of reduced opportunities—at Big Tech companies, in newsrooms, educational institutions, and in Hollywood. Conservative groups and individuals have been targeted by the IRS and other government agencies. Some in government have been swallowed up by The Swamp. Countless numbers have been castigated, cast aside, jostled, doused, evicted, banned and shadow-banned. Some have been wrongfully investigated. What of their emotional and physical trauma?

How long will it be until Democrats decide we need to pay reparations to criminals? Trick question. They already have proposed just that. In fact, they essentially want to give reparations to those who aren’t American citizens, who have never lived here, and who have just recently entered the country illegally. And to those who may do so in the future. They think it’s incumbent upon U.S. citizens—black, white, gay or straight-- to pay for the health care, education, and abortions of illegal aliens.

Those familiar with U.S. history know that, if any group owes reparations to African-Americans, it is the Democratic Party. If the party wins the 2020 presidential election and manages to institute programs like the Green New Deal, estimated to cost the average American household $70,00 in its first year alone, it will owe all of us reparations.

English Woman Suffocates Her Two Young Daughters

                Louise Porton, a 23-year-old English woman, was recently found guilty of killing her two young daughters because they “got in the way” of her sex life, the BBC reported. She has been jailed for life, though she will be eligible for parole after 32 years.

                What’s worse, Birmingham Crown Court Judge Amanda Yip called her “calculated” and “evil.” Judge Yip apparently doesn’t understand that words can hurt and “labels can disable.” The intolerant, holier-than-thou judge went on to tell Porton, “These were blameless young children who were plainly vulnerable and ought to have been able to rely on their mother to protect and nurture them. Instead you took their young lives away.” Apparently, Judge Yip is some kind of fundamentalist Christian, pro-life wacko.

                Porton suffocated three-year-old Lexi Draper and 17-month-old Scarlett Vaughn within a three-week period in 2018. The prosecutor stated during the trial that he believed Porton saw her children as getting “in the way of her doing what she wanted when she wanted and with whom she wanted.”

                What a perfect characterization…… of why women get abortions. Porton isn’t a murderer. She’s a pro-choice pioneer. A leader in the drive for a woman’s right to an “after-birth abortion.” She is bravely standing up for women’s right to comprehensive “health care.”    

                Porton shouldn’t be in prison. She should be among those seeking to become the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nominee.

University Of Michigan To Hold "Psychedelic Neuroscience Symposium"

            Scientists at the University of Michigan’s “Center for Conscious Science” will hold an on-campus symposium in September in which they will explore “psychedelics,” or mind-altering drugs, in a purported attempt to “study the effects and potential medical uses of various psychoactive substances.” “Psychedelic Neuroscience Symposium” officials are urging neuroscientists, cognitive scientists, psychologists and clinicians to attend the gala.

 Psychedelic drugs include substances such as psilocybin mushrooms and LSD and can significantly alter consciousness and lead to bizarre audio-visual experiences. These potentially dangerous substances act primarily upon the central nervous system, where they can also cause temporary changes in perception, mood, emotion and behavior. Who knew Woodstock was a “Psychedelic Neuroscience Symposium?”

Democrats are apparently already taking part in the new study if their recent debates are any indication.

"So Proud"

            The stories are now legion: a celebrity-- or other figure-- reveals how proud he, she or they is/are that their spouse, son, daughter, father, mother, grandparent or priest has come out as homosexual, bisexual or pansexual. The latest, apparently, is Brooks Laich, a Canadian ice hockey player whose wife, Julian Hough, came out as “not straight” in a recent interview. Hough, a 31-year-old professional dancer, “stripped down” for Women’s Health magazine’s Naked Strength issue and “opened up” about telling her husband of her sexuality, according to a foxnews.com report. Hough informed Women’s Health that she told her hubby: “You know I’m not straight, right?” (This seems a bit presumptuous insofar as she is married to him and the couple has presumably been routinely consummating their nuptials). To which Laich replied, “I’m sorry, what?” (Lending credence to my previous observation). Hough added, “I think there’s a safety with my husband now that I’m unpacking all of this.” He may well have wished Hough had left some “of this” packed.

            Nonetheless, in true woke fashion, Laich wrote an Instagram post after Hough’s magazine spread was published.  It stated: “So proud of my wife @juleshough for the woman she is, and her courage to share her journey of trials and triumphs!” Laich added, “Love you so much, babe!” Apparently, the feeling isn’t entirely mutual.

              The typical report of a man finding out his wife is “not straight” goes loosely as follows:

Man-- “I am so PROUD of my wife for coming out as a lesbian. I support her 100% in whatever she does. And for whomever she is or may become or identify as. To be perfectly straight with you, I was thrilled to discover she wasn’t straight. I couldn’t be prouder to realize that I am not man enough—or person enough—to satisfy her physical needs and desires. And when I realized that she never mentioned anything like this to me before we “got together,” I thought that-- just maybe-- I played a small part in her preference for women over men… and my heart swelled anew! I was SO PROUD that she came out in public, too, rather than just keeping it between us! Now the whole world knows the special relationship and joy we share! I must admit, I am proud of that, as well! And then, when she told me she has had literally dozens of female lovers in the few years we have been together, my heart fairly burst with PRIDE! I am even PROUD of being PROUD of her! In short, I just couldn’t be PROUDER!! Unless, of course, she came out as pangender or transgender…or both. Yup, so bleeping proud.”

Buttigieg: “Yes, there is a smashed bug on my forehead. It’s disgusting, but I don’t want to draw attention to it by removing it. I don’t wish to give Trump the satisfaction. I’d probably get a new nickname.”

Lemon: “Indeed. Sen. Klobuchar, what do you say to those Trump voters who prioritize the economy over the president’s bigotry?”

Klobuchar: “Well, Don, I have had it with the racist attacks. I have had it with a president that says one thing on TV, that he has your back, and then you get home and you see those charges for prescription drugs and cable and college. We shouldn’t have to pay for any of those things. In fact, we shouldn’t have to pay for anything at all.”

Lemon: “Marianne Williamson, given Trump’s desire to imprison or kill everyone in the LGBTQIIA+ community, preferably in the most painful ways possible, how would you fundamentally change the tone coming out of the Oval Office?”

Williamson: “Don, my dear Donald…we all just need to take a deep breath and cleanse ourselves of the hatred and jealousy. If we get our chakras right, everything else will be okay, despite Trump’s dark, psychic force.”

Wednesday, July 31:

Don Lemon: “Vice-President Biden, would there be any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking, in the Biden Administration?”

Biden: “No. We would work it out, and make sure it’s eliminated, and no more subsidies for either one of those. Any fossil fuel. I’d be the only fossil allowed in my administration. Hee, hee.”

Lemon: “Good one! Rep. Gabbard, do you believe the United States should have gone to war in Iraq?”

Gabbard: “This current president is continuing to betray us. We were supposed to be going after al Qaeda, but over years now, not only have we not gone after al Qaeda… our president is supporting al Qaeda.”

Lemon: “Yes. Senator Booker, do you think Vice-President Biden is equipped to handle criminal justice reform?”

Booker: “Mr. Vice-President, there’s a saying in my community: ‘You’re dipping into the Kool-Aid, and you don’t even know the flavor.”

Biden: “Hope it’s not Guyana Grape! Oh-three-oh-three-oh-three-oh. I’ve found my three-oh ♪on Blueberry Hill…♫”

Lemon: “Alrighty then. Senator Gillibrand, given President Trump’s obvious repulsiveness and love of pathological behavior, what would be the first thing you would do upon entering the Oval Office?”

 

Gillibrand: “The first thing I would do is Clorox the Oval Office.”

Lemon: “What, it’s not white enough for you?! You have to bleach it?”

Gillibrand: “That’s not what—”

Lemon: “Anyway, Mr. Yang, some Democratic politicians believe we only have 10 or 12 years to fix climate change. Given that Trump hates planet Earth, do we even have that long?”

Yang: “It’s already too late. We’re screwed. I propose to give everyone in the world $1,000 to help them get to higher ground. That’s the only chance we’ve got. We’ve all got to get to higher ground. Immediately.”

Lemon: “Mayor de Blasio, since we know that Trump likes to torture animals and eat babies, what do you say to those who claim you have been ineffective at best in running New York City?”

De Blasio: “F**k them! We need to tax the hell out of the rich, Don. It’s the only way.”

Lemon: “No doubt. Former HUD Secretary Castro, since Trump’s favorite historical figure is Adolf Hitler, how would you try to heal the deep wounds that he has inflicted on the American populace?”

Castro: “I believe in open borders. Wide open. Actually, no borders at all. That should heal everything. I also believe that Trump is a racist.”

Lemon: “Right on, brother! Sen. Harris, given that Trump is fond of bestiality and pedophilia, what would you……”

Tolerance And Abortion

            Progressives always say, “we must be inclusive.” Then they say, “abortion is a right.”

They say, “We must be welcoming to those that are different from us.” Then they say, “abortion is health care.” They say, “We must take care of the most vulnerable in society or what does it say about us?” Then they say, “If a baby survives an abortion attempt, we’ll leave it up to the mother—with possible input from the father-- to decide if it should be allowed to live.”

They say: “Republicans want to ruin health care. Kill babies! Republicans want to throw your grandmother off a cliff. Kill babies! Republicans want dirty air and water. Kill babies! Republicans want to lynch people of color. Kill babies! Where is the civility? Kill babies! Republicans are mean-spirited. Kill babies! Capitalists are cruel. Kill babies! There is no difference between men and women. Kill babies! There are 63 genders. Kill babies! Fracking kills! Kill babies! Climate change is real, man-caused and dangerous. Kill babies! Trump separates children from their parents at our southern border…that’s sick! Kill babies!! Columbus disrupted Native American lives. Kill babies! Cigarettes can cause cancer. Kill babies! We have to protect our kids from tobacco! Kill babies! (And legalize marijuana)! Wear your seat belt. Kill babies! Get plenty of exercise, eat your vegetables and get a good night’s sleep. And kill babies! Make sure your young ones wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Kill babies! Tell your kids not to accept candy from strangers. Kill babies! Don’t let your children grow up to be cowboys. Kill babies! Don’t smoke during your pregnancy. Kill babies! Don’t drink when you’re nursing. Kill babies!”

There you have it: inclusive, welcoming and tolerant…abortion. I know, right?
