Women In Cologne, Germany, Victims Of Mass New Year's Eve Assault

At least ten women have reported being sexually assaulted and robbed on New Year’s Eve in the German city of Cologne. German authorities have finally admitted that these assaults were part of an unprecedented and coordinated series of attacks in which dozens and dozens of women were sexually harassed and robbed by hundreds of young men “who appeared to have a North African or Arab” background, according to testimony from numerous victims and witnesses. More than 90 people have filed legal complaints.
The mass assault went virtually unreported for days, leading many to the obvious conclusion that authorities wanted to prevent the incidents from being used as an argument for restricting immigration. Germany took in more than one million migrants last year and is struggling to deal with the political, social and economic consequences of the influx.
Heiko Maas, Germany’s Minister of Injustice, warned against linking the assaults to immigrants, stating that the ethnicity of the perpetrators was irrelevant.
Heiko, you may want to try to tell that to the Jews.
Police said that the men committing the assaults broke into smaller groups, with each group encircling a woman. Then, while some groped her, others would steal her wallet and/or cell-phone.
Cologne holds a large festival every year prior to Easter. Thousands of costumed revelers fill the streets to celebrate with parades and parties.  Henriette Reker, the mayor of Cologne, said that city officials would begin working to explain the city’s attitudes and norms to its many newcomers.
“We will explain our carnival much better to people who come from other cultures, so there won’t be any confusion about what constitutes celebratory behavior in Cologne, which has nothing to do with a sexual frankness.” (Emphasis mine).
Well, she just refuted old Heiko’s claim that the ethnicity of the perpetrators was irrelevant. Confusing celebratory behavior with sexual assault- pardon me, I mean sexual “frankness”- seems a bit of a stretch.

I can already see the politically-correct, helpful and informative signs going up in Cologne’s public square prior to the next festival: “Please Refrain From Assaulting, Robbing, Raping Or Plundering Fellow Celebrants!”

Tolerance?

Tolerating the militantly intolerant is not, in fact, tolerance at all. The saying that ‘all evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing’ is correct. At some point, if we don’t do whatever it takes to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our own heritage- especially as it pertains to freedom- we ourselves become complicit in the carnage. The reflexive tolerance of even the most heinous evil is actually intolerance of morality, sanity and truth. It refuses to acknowledge the difference between good and evil…or their very existence.

Radical Islam can’t be reasoned with. It is impossible to have a fruitful, rational discussion with people who, for example, systemically sexually enslave and abuse children, or send them into a public place to blow themselves- and the ubiquitous “infidels”- up, believing they will ascend to Paradise for their actions.

Chinese Government To Enslave Citizens Via "Sesame Credit"

Welcome To The Sheeple's Republic Of China

The Chinese government is turning its own citizens “trustworthiness” and submissiveness into a financial and political game sponsored by the state and soon to be mandatory. The country’s social media networks have “partnered” with the Communist government to measure how fiscally responsible and politically and “morally” obedient citizens are. The program is called, “Sesame Credit,” and utilizes a game-like format to create self-imposed, group control. Sesame Credit is operated by Alibaba and Tencent, the two companies that run all of China’s top social networks. Alibaba is the world’s largest online shopping platform, boasting over 400 million users.
The program won’t become mandatory for every Chinese citizen until 2020, but it is already working according to reports. Fiscal and government-held data are combined and each citizen is ranked via being assessed one single “score,” or rating, a number that can go up or down based on their “behavior.”  Citizens are encouraged to fully pay all their bills on time in order to raise their credit score…and many are even posting their scores on dating sites and their own social media pages. The program also looks at what each person purchases and may adjust one’s score accordingly. Buy work shoes and diapers and you must be responsible…your score goes up. Saki and Anime’ from Japan? Obviously you are irresponsible and immoral…down goes your score.
The soon-to-be omniscient- and omnipotent- program will even take note of which females have been “instructed” to take birth control. But wait, there’s more! A citizen’s score will almost certainly be adversely affected if they don’t happily and totally toe the government line. If one posts a political opinion without prior permission and approval, or posts information that the government does not wish to be disseminated, one’s score is lowered. Not only that, but if any of your friends do so, your score will likewise be lowered.
You and your friends will not only be objects of constant state-sponsored surveillance, but your score will be readily available for everyone to see. "Open Sesame?" Crash your “credit” score and lose your friends, job, wife? This insipid public shaming will itself act as a form of powerful peer pressure against free and open thought and debate, as well as politically-incorrect behavior. Shades of the KGB and the Stasi.
This is chilling, Orwellian behavior, indeed, but is it already happening in Europe and America, as well? The sad fact is that Western leftist’s incessant push for more and more free speech to be branded politically-incorrect, offensive or even officially recognized “hate speech,” shares many of the same goals, and a few similar methods, with the Chinese Communist government’s attempt to reassert total control over a soon-to-be obedient, malleable, intellectually-disarmed populace.
Looming cyber-security initiatives would link web access with an individual user’s identity. Several prominent feminists and other assorted leftists have already called on the UN to pressure ISPs and governments to restrict or eliminate web access for those with the temerity to disagree with them.
We, the "sheeple" (to borrow a phrase from Michael Savage), are allowing our freedoms to be gradually eroded on a day-by-day basis. We need to collectively put on our “rally-caps” and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. This new year, 2016, would be a fine time to start.

If we don’t, the yoke will be on us. Permanently.

White Out

I’m no longer amused by the war on all things “white.”The use of the word itself has come under attack by some progressive extremists of late.  Ironically, “white privilege” is the term used to tar all things white with the same brush. Snow white, pure white, the Great White Way, white collar, white knight, White Christmas, etc., etc., are all terms used to illustrate the notion that the word white has a deliberately superior, non-inclusive connotation.

                That is a white lie.

I myself am personally offended by the use of terms such as “white as a sheet” indicating someone who is scared silly. “White-collar crime” infers that anyone with a desk job or managerial position is likely to be a crook. “White knuckle” is another term used to describe someone who is scared. The term “White feather” denotes a symbol of cowardliness. Detect a trend here? Why is the universally recognized symbol of surrender a white flag? And men in white coats come to take the mentally unstable to white rooms? How insensitive is that?
“Whitewash” means to cover up, to hide something, typically an indiscretion or illegality. “White elephant?” That is a possession unwanted but difficult to dispose of. And “white trash?” Really? Hate speech.

Come to think of it…I want the word “white” to be evicted from our language, too.

Appropriate Appropriation?

Students at Oberlin College have been angered and offended by “culturally appropriative” offerings at the school’s Dascomb Dining Hall. They have vented in the school newspaper and demanded meetings with Campus Dining Service officials and the president of the college. Similar outrage is being expressed on other college campuses around the U.S.
What’s their beef, one might ask? One student was appalled that General Tso’s chicken was served with steamed chicken instead of fried, as that isn’t authentically Chinese according to one student, who added that it was simply “weird.” (It was probably a mandate from Michelle Obama).
As if that weren’t enough, one Japanese student protested sushi rice that she claimed was undercooked to the point that she felt it was “disrespectful” of her culture. She further opined, “When you’re cooking a country’s dish for other people, including ones who have never tried the original dish before, you’re also representing the meaning of the dish as well as its culture. So if people not from that heritage take food, modify it and serve it as ‘authentic,’ it is appropriative,” she said.

Well, it’s not exactly the Bataan Death March, is it?

This whole concept of “offensive appropriation” is offensive and insane.
What if we in America hadn’t “appropriated” the printing press from the Germans? Would we have printed the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States? Or perhaps even (eventually) all the money we gave to help Germany- and Japan- recover from a World War they started?
Should no country be allowed to “appropriate” medical advances/breakthroughs from any other country? Let’s just let millions die.
And what of the appropriation of land? As soon as one group of people get someplace, that’s it? How come the college students literally crying in their beer about food appropriation are the same ones demanding that we let immigrants in without even vetting them? Aren’t they appropriating part of America and her freedoms? Or perhaps we are appropriating them? Either way, according to their logic it can’t be good.
The rest of the world has appropriated a staggering number of things from the U.S., Europe and Asia included. Some excellent political theory and lust for freedom. The telephone, light bulb, internet and many other inventions and technical advances. Look around at all the McDonald’s, Burger King’s and KFC’s in Europe, Japan and even China. Why did they appropriate American fast food joints? I bet they aren’t preparing and serving every single dish the exact same way it is done in the U.S.  And then there is entertainment… music, television and movies. Is it insulting that other countries have “appropriated” American made movies such as Star War’s? Or should it be seen as a compliment?

What if Eve wasn’t created by the “appropriation” of Adam’s rib?

These spoiled, coddled, college kids feel endlessly entitled to things no previous generation had. They have a lot to learn. Unfortunately, they are being taught the wrong lessons.

Free College?

It is impossible to repeal the law of supply and demand, despite the fondest wishes of progressives in – and out of- academia. It is that fundamental truth- and that very law- that is behind the skyrocketing costs of a college education. The incredible, wasteful swelling of administrative types and their salaries is one part of the problem. The rampant spending on the frills and comforts of modernity is another. Not every classroom needs wi-fi, I-pads, air conditioning, etc., and not every building or even campus should require a lounge, climbing wall, “safe space,” et. al., either.
Yet these trends are part of a larger issue, an “elephant in the room,” if you will, that no one wants to acknowledge. When government decides that it’s best that every young person attend a college or university, no matter what their grades are and irrespective of their knowledge, intelligence, discipline, financial situation or proclivity to do so, that alone will lead to more students heading off to college. When that pressure is wed to a vastly increasing number of programs and loans to help students attend these bastions of higher education, the supply of students who can afford to do so goes up dramatically, thereby allowing these institutions to significantly raise their tuition and other fees, leading to a need for more money to be made available to encourage and allow students to continue with Uncle Sam’s arbitrary higher-education mandate.  This cycle has repeated itself over and over for several decades now.
The number of universities (and instructors) has not increased at anything like the rate of student participation, though, as these are inefficient entities with many bureaucratic and politically-correct strings attached to them. However, awash with cash, universities have spent unwisely and profligately on non-classroom related items, such as “creature comforts,” and extra administrators who help lobby for more money to be spent on higher education, public-sector unions, etc.
The cry from campus now is that college attendance should be free…and some smarmy, pandering, opportunistic politicians are going along with that insane demand. Obviously, nothing is free. Are the colleges going to lay-off all of their administrators? Will the professors give up their salaries and volunteer? There wouldn’t be any money to buy new things, for building maintenance and grounds keeping…or anything else. Of course this wouldn’t be the case. With a nearly unlimited supply of students, the demand for a college education would be likewise nearly unlimited, and the tuition rates would skyrocket yet again.
No, what is really meant by free, is free to the students themselves, of course. Those staffing the colleges…the administrators, professors and their public-sector unions, would be gaily partaking of the largess, as well.
It would be the taxpayers, especially those in the middle class- college educated or not- that would get ‘taken to the cleaners.’ As the humorist P.J. O’Rourke once presciently wrote, “If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it costs when it’s free.”
We need to dispense with the political-correctness and the Pseudo-socialism and return to a time when students studied the Greek and Roman classics and were also exposed to the works of more recent Western philosophers such as Locke, Montesquieu and Burke. By so doing, students would get acquainted with the best political philosophy known to man and would learn what it means- and what is required- to have and retain a “free,” republican form of government.
A little Adam Smith wouldn’t hurt, either.
Perhaps then they’d understand the costs associated with their demands.

Second Amendment Opponents A Threat To Safety, Freedom

Those who quarrel with the Second Amendment are really opposed to the idea that one has an inherent right to defend oneself. They are, at root, deniers of natural law.
These same “progressives” can countenance neither an individual’s right to defend herself, nor, collectively, the country’s. On the one hand, they claim that an individual’s right to bear arms is somehow revoked now that we have a standing army or “permanent militia.” The collective renders the individual moot. Yet, on the other hand, they are against new weapons systems and increased military spending and for unchecked, unfiltered immigration, terrorists or no. Thus the collective- the country- is unable to properly defend itself as well.
It’s hard to tell if their positions on disarming the innocent are inconsistently consistent or consistently inconsistent.

Though it’s easy to see that they are insane.

Clinton-Bush: Back To The Future Again?

Many liberals want to see Hillary Clinton become the Democratic nominee for President and lean to Jeb Bush as the more sensitive, sensible, moderate (liberal) candidate to be the Republican nominee. Would these “progressives” like to see slavery return, as well? Maybe we could re-fight the Vietnam War? Bring back bell-bottoms and pet rocks? Sixteen consecutive years of Clinton-Bush rule (ending seven years ago) wasn’t enough for them?
Are they really hungry for more Clinton scandals or squishy, Bush era “compassionate conservatism?” Did they ask for Jai-Alai sets and coon-skin hats for Christmas?

As for me, I’m going to go play Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop (Thinking About Tomorrow)” on my new eight-track tape player while I contemplate joining the “Whig” Party!

Paris Climate Agreement To Possibly Reduce Global Warming By 0.2°C By 2100!

Taken as a whole, the world’s Paris climate commitments are estimated to reduce global warming in this century anywhere from not at all to 0.2°C. All for a minimum mandated cost (to the West) of just one hundred billion dollars a year, more after 2020. If that’s not getting one’s money’s worth, I don’t know what is! If the amount spent yearly never exceeds the established “floor,” that will be roughly 8.5 trillion dollars by the year 2100. If the average spent- in constant dollars- is $150 billion a year, we will have thrown approximately 12.75 trillion dollars into a cosmic black hole. What is the opportunity cost of that decision? How many Habitat for Humanity houses could’ve been built with that amount of money?  We could have just given every man, woman and child currently on earth $1,000 cash. Or paid for ten years of golf rounds for Barrack Obama…plus 3 more Hawaiian vacations for his family.
It is abundantly clear that, in the end, the leaders of this so-called Summit wanted to wallow in the adulation that would follow the act of declaring the political accomplishment of a Signed Agreement, regardless of what the Agreement contained.

They wanted their own Neville Chamberlain moment, one in which they could strut around proudly proclaiming, “Greenpeace in our time!”
