Democrats in the House made Donald
J. Trump only the third president in the long history of the United States of
America to be impeached.
From here on out, every
president whose political opposition controls the House of Representatives will
be impeached.
Such is the destruction the
Democrats have wrought. After 230 years of showing the world how successful a
true democratic republic could be and stunning many with civil, at times even
cordial transfers of power at even the highest levels, Democrats chose to
deliberately assassinate their own nation’s previously cherished founding
principles, political processes and the rule of law. In a kangaroo court
lynching that made decisions banana republic dictators have visited on their
political opponents look sober, well-reasoned and just, House Democrats
impeached President Trump on two counts of…of…well, things they didn’t like.
For the first time in history, a president has been impeached without being
accused of a crime. Or a high crime and misdemeanor. “Abuse of power” and
“obstruction of Congress” are not only very broad and very vague “charges,”
they are whatever those issuing them say they are. Obstruction of Congress?
Seriously? Some body is a little full of themselves. Have any House members
heard of “checks and balances?” Members of Congress routinely let President
Obama treat them as his little “bitches,” too craven even to speak up when
Barry used his “pen and a phone” to circumvent Congress and do whatever the
hell he wanted.
Some in the Democratic Party, now
no more than a particularly large antifa mob with better backing, have
literally wanted to impeach Trump since before he took office. That
gives the lie to the “high crimes and misdemeanors” standard and the “we had no
choice” bullshit spewing from the power-crazed maws of the sanctimoniously
evil. First, it was Russian collusion. When that fell through, it was this,
that and another thing. Then it was quid pro quo. Then bribery. Then
“obstruction of us.” If that would have been dismissed, they would have
impeached Trump for “nasty tweets,” or “orange hair.”
Adam Schiff, a truly disturbed and
dangerous man, refused to grant the president and his supporters due process at
every step of the way. Schiff determined who could speak, who was muzzled. He,
hilariously, claimed to be unaware of who the “whistleblower” was. A personage
on whom the Democrats and their enablers in the mass media showered slobbering
adoration. Yet Schiff refused to allow this third-party whistleblower to
testify or even to let Republicans talk about him. Have to protect the
God-given right of someone to conduct an anonymous, drive-by character
assassination without having to provide any evidence or be inconvenienced in
any way. If you are a member of a minority party, you are guilty unless and
until you can prove your own innocence. Sucks to be you.
The traitorous Democrats, as ever
projecting their own beliefs and behavior onto their political opponents, claim
to be distressed about this whole impeachment business. It is a sad and solemn
day for the country, they say. But they have to stand with the Founders. And
the red-blooded men and women of our military. They fervently hoped it wouldn’t
come to this, they bray. Despite the fact that many have called for Trump’s
impeachment on—or before—the day he took office.
After depriving the president of
anything and everything pertaining to the rule of law and due process in the
House hearings, these preposterously partisan charlatans, led by Nancy Pelosi,
now want to set the rules of the Senate hearing, as well, where the
president and his supporters are historically granted the right to defend
themselves from the baying hordes. The Democrats attack, attack, attack, while saying,
“so sorry, so sorry, so sorry!”
Democrats claimed that, if Trump
lost the 2016 election, he wouldn’t let it go. Instead, Hillary Clinton lost,
and she and the entire Democratic party can’t bring themselves to come to terms
with that. Simply cannot acknowledge that reality. They’d rather disenfranchise
63 million voters less than a year before the next presidential election than
admit they lost. If anyone tries to reason with the lot of them, the precious
snowflakes put their fingers in their ears and yammer, “The farmer in the dell,
the farmer in the dell, hi-ho, the derry-o, the farmer in the dell.”
Making a tragic chapter in American
history worse, Nancy Pelosi wore black to the hearings to trumpet to the world
how somber and sad this day was for her—and all the rest of her Democratic
colleagues. She as much as said, “If there was any way we could have avoided
this outcome, you know we would have found it.”
The reality is that Pelosi and her
Democratic quislings are partying like its 1999, when Bill Clinton was still in
orifice office. And they were defending him from the “partisan Republican
witch hunt.”
In these starkly—and darkly-- partisan times,
it is up to the voters to decide who should prevail.
Or at least it should be.
