Muhammad Now Among Ten Most Popular Baby Names In America

For the first time ever, “Muhammad” (and its derivations) has made the list of the top ten most popular baby names for boys in the United States. 2019 saw a significant overall rise in the popularity of Arabic names, including “Aaliyah,” which supplanted Layla for tenth place on the list of most popular girl’s names. “Muhammad” has had an amazing 29% jump in frequency this year alone, according to BabyCenter, an online media company based in San Francisco that provides information on conception, pregnancy, birth, and early childhood development.
The Johnsons, Smiths, Ericksons, Whites, Blacks, and Andersons, et. al., that used to populate the country are dying out, going the way of the Passenger Pigeon. The “Old Fart” hats, flannel shirts, work ethic and selflessness that were the hallmarks of the “Greatest Generation” will soon be relics of the past, lost to history forever.
Some Western nation’s fertility rates have dropped below replacement level. Some of those same nations are awash in immigrants, illegal or otherwise, the vast majority of whom hail from North Africa or the Middle East. Much of Europe has already been significantly Islamicized. Several nations in the European Union have experienced rapid increases in violent crime, female genital mutilation and anti-Semitism.
America is pathetically and blithely following Europe down the same parlous path. The few folks courageous enough to try to prevent the death of a nation are slandered and called racists, bigots, white supremacists, xenophobes…and worse.
The Arabic script is on the wall. Unless things change dramatically, Inshallah, we will all be Muhammads and Aaliyahs soon.
Caliphate? Call it fate.
