Bernie Sanders Purchases Opulent New Summer Home

Socialist rock-star Bernie Sanders, that champion of the poor, disenfranchised and downtrodden, has purchased a gorgeous new four bedroom, three bath summer home on Vermont’s elite and pricey Lake Champlain. (“This campaign is about ending the grotesque level of wealth and income inequality that we are experiencing…”).
The Bern’s spectacular new crib cost just under $600,000 and is located  in the island community of North Hero, Vermont. Sanders’ majestic seasonal get-away has 500 feet of prime Lake Champlain beachfront, sits on 1.1 acres, and includes a guesthouse. (“This campaign is about creating an economy that works for all of us, not just the one percent!”).
Bernie and his clan will, of course, keep their existing Vermont home in Burlington’s New North End. Oh, and their fashionable row house on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. (“This campaign is about that homelessness is increasing and that tens of millions of Americans, because of a lack of affordable housing, are paying 40, 50 percent or more of their limited incomes to put a roof over their heads.”).
Channeling his inner Rev.  Jeremiah Wright (of “God Damn America” fame-  who lives in a mansion in a gated community), Bernie Baby has become one of the precious few people on the planet to own three or more homes. (“This campaign is about ending the pain of a young, single mother in Nevada, in tears, telling me that she doesn’t know how she and her daughter can make it on $10.45 an hour. It’s about the reality that millions of our fellow Americans are working at starvation wages. It is about ending the disgrace that too many veterans still sleep out on the streets”).
Yes, Sanders’ has managed to parlay his Marxist shtick into multiple roofs over his head. Maybe he’ll let the Black Lives Matter Movement use his new guesthouse.

                Feel the Bern?
