Barack
Obama is a radical from the Alinsky Files. He despises the United States as
originally founded and so set out to “fundamentally transform” it. Tragically,
he largely succeeded. And today we have radical clergy like Pope Francis and
Pope Leo, who both clearly disliked the traditional Catholic Church, and so set
out to fundamentally transform that institution.
In fact, according to
LifeSiteNews, “Archbishop Vincenzo
Paglia said Pope Francis deliberately sought to ‘recreate’ the Pontifical
Academy for Life and the John Paul II Institute in order to move Catholic
theology beyond what he described as a ‘moralistic’
framework based on natural law. Yes, we wouldn’t want Catholic or Christian
theology to be based on morality, would we! And certainly not on natural law!
Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia has said that “Pope
Francis felt the need to adapt doctrine to the new times,” especially as
regards homosexuality and the family. So, since a growing number
of folks seem to be
following and worshipping Satan (literally), should the Catholic Church adapt
to the changing times and do the same?
And so we have the specter of the
Archdiocese of Salzburg co-hosting a training event called “Queer People in Our Parishes” with two pro-LGBT activist groups. And of Fr.
James Martin calling far-left, pro-abortion Stephen Colbert one of today’s “best
Catholic evangelists.” If Colbert is one of today’s best Catholic evangelists,
I am the poster boy for the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).
The Canadian government is currently pondering a bill that effectively criminalizes Christian religious expression and belief, as when quoting parts of the Bible, and that would effectively
lead to an “open season” on Canadian Christians should the bill become law.
Wilfrid
Laurier University professor David Haskel, during a recent Senate Committee on
Human Rights hearing, warned that ideological opponents increasingly claim that
Christians’ beliefs harm society. Nothing could be further from the truth……the
light, and the way.
The truth is that it’s wokeism,
multiculturalism, synodality, etc., that is doing irreparable harm to society.
Sadly,
most of us simply-- and limply--
stood by as these “transformers” took a wrecking ball to the
country and the church.
Obama
told us that, “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” An assertion
which turned out to be, shall we say, less than honest.
Francis
and Leo have essentially implied, “Don’t worry about these changes. If you like
your Savior, you can keep your Savior.”
For
now.
