The Royal Navy Is Royally Screwed, As Is Britain

The British Royal Navy reportedly has had another ‘crippled’ vessel withdrawn, leaving just five active frigates to defend Britain. Five? Frigates? Well, that should be enough to fend off Russia and or China. Not.

Five effing frigates? That isn’t neglect. It is planned obsolescence. Civilizational suicide. “How the mighty have fallen” doesn’t begin to describe the collapse of Britain. From the largest, best, and most feared navy in the world to one that would fit in a large outdoor swimming pool. That’s what happens when a nation prioritizes welfare and illegal immigration over its continued existence. I guess “Rule Brittania” is over. Perhaps they could throw a few Boston Whalers, a Bayliner or two, and a handful of souped-up PWCs at Putin and Xi if it comes to that. “The sun never sets on the British Empire?” The sun has set on the British Empire. It won’t set on its navy, however, because it doesn’t have one.

The Andrew’s motto is: "If you wish for peace, prepare for war.” Apparently it no longer values peace because it sure as hell isn’t prepared for war. The diminutive fleet, as presently constituted, is no longer prepared for a set-to or skirmish let alone a war. The erstwhile “Jolly Jack Tars” are few in number and not so jolly. And there are quite a few Jills mixed in. The once “Royal” Navy is anything but. But the Brits in charge are likely thinking: “But there’s always the Americans.” They may also now be thinking, “Oh wait, maybe we shouldn’t have just thumbed our noses at them in their time of need.”

The UK recently raised its national terror threat level to "severe," indicating that its powers-that-be believe a terror attack is "highly likely.” I wonder if that is in any way connected to the fact that there have been almost 200,000 small boats filled with illegal immigrants arriving on its shores since 2018. Compare those 200,000 vessels to the 63 active commissioned ships left in what remains of the Royal Navy.

Britain avoided being invaded by the Third Reich during World War II. Yet, of late it has passively allowed itself to be invaded by hordes of military-aged Muslim men. Interdicting 200,000 boats probably requires more than 63 ships. It certainly requires the will to do so. Britain leaders have no navy. And no will.

So, “Cheerio” and “Ta-ta.”

It didn’t have to be this way.

“Restore Britain?” I’m rooting for them, but……good Luck.
