In a
recent Senate hearing, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) asked Dr Nisha Verma “can
men get pregnant?” Verma responded, “I totally agree science
and evidence should guide medicine,” before adding, “I also think yes/no
questions like this are a political tool…” Dear God. Beam me up, Scotty.
If
we can’t even get the very first thing correct, we are totally doomed.
Genesis 1:27: “Male and female He created them.” Genesis. What kind of
an asshat could screw this up?! Yet even the Supreme Court can’t decisively affirm
the founding distinction, the reason for our existence. Nearly everyone
who ever lived, up until the past few decades, knew men and women were
different, knew what the differences were, knew that men can’t get pregnant,
and that women don’t have penises. But no longer. In many ways, we are
regressing, devolving. Not progressing.
Speaking
of firsts, the American Founders declared, “We hold these truths to be self-evident,
that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with
certain unalienable rights…” If it was self-evident back then that all men are
created equal, it surely is self-evident today that men and women are
different. It is remarkably self-evident that men cannot get pregnant and women
cannot impregnate men. But not to many of today’s Democrats and their enablers
and mentors.
“Cis,”
“trans,” “I identify as,” and “my truth,” are all terms that are meaningless at
best, destructive at worst. And let’s not even delve into “approved” pro-nouns.
(I sometimes tragically get pro-nouns and nouns mixed up, leading me to label
certain progressives “asshats,” “morons,” “evildoers,” and “dunderheads.”) If
we let far-left radicals determine the parameters of conversation and the words
and phrases that are “allowed,” we effectively permit them to dictate our actions,
thoughts and beliefs. At which point they become our masters. Which is their
goal. (What was the Genesis of that desire?)
I,
for one, identify as someone who would never let that happen. So help
me, Lord. I believe there is such a thing as the truth, objective truth.
And that we are called to seek it. I don’t believe there is a “trans” truth.
Guess
I must be a cis Christian.
And “progressives”
sure as hell won’t like that.
Because,
truth-be-told, they despise Christianity, truth, diversity, and tolerance.
They can’t countenance competition, because that is a threat to their power,
the only thing they respect and worship.
