President Joe Biden recently gave a commencement address at South Carolina State University in which he told the graduates that he “got started in politics because of the civil rights movement.” That was a preposterous lie. He added that he sat in a Black church years ago before going out to “desegregate restaurants and movie theaters.” Preposterous lie number two.
In fact, Biden has made several racist remarks in his half-century in politics. Moreover, he eulogized Robert Byrd, who was once not only a KKK member, but an “exalted cyclops!” He went so far as to call Byrd a “friend,” a “mentor,” and a “guide.”
Though the media incessantly accused President Trump of lying, he was a remarkably transparent president. Biden, however, like most Democrats and left-leaning people, is a champion serial prevaricator. Trump often exaggerated, almost never outright lied. Biden, Obama, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, John Edwards, Ted Kennedy, Adam Schiff, Michael Dukakis, Gary Hart…and I could go on…are all afficionados of lies, lovers of deceit, and fans of fabrication.
Yeah, we know. You guys “never had sex with that woman. Not one time. Never.” And you invented the internet, sliced bread, and the polio vaccine. And pants. And instituted the interstate highway system. And founded the national parks.
Now tell us the one about the three bears.
