Channeling their inner Gestapo, German police
(polizei) recently arrested
Santa Claus at a Christmas market in Stralsund, Germany. Although it
happened last month, video of the coppers busting old Saint Nick has just recently
surfaced in the American media. The Santa Claus apparently had it coming however,
as he did not scrupulously adhere to the government’s mask mandate.
It is a good thing Santa’s elves and reindeer didn’t
accompany their boss to Stralsund, or the polizei might have clubbed them to
death if they, too, exhibited insufficient fealty to government edicts
surrounding the Never-Ending Pandemic. They might have field-dressed Rudolph on
the spot if he wasn’t sporting a thick and properly fitted mask covering his
bulbous and glowing red schnoz.
Nearly 70% of Germans are fully vaccinated against a
virus that is fatal to fewer than one percent of those who contract it. Yet,
cases of coronavirus are skyrocketing. What’s far worse, however, is that
tyranny is being imposed on many countries. And the tyranny will remain long
after the pandemic ends.
Tragically, the China Virus’ rampage across the West caused
its leaders to act like those of Communist China. That will forever be the
worst effect of the plague.
There is a notion called the “One-China Policy” by
which Communist Chinese leaders assert that there is only one sovereign state
under the name China and that Taiwan should not be recognized as independent. After
the advent of COVID-1984, it appears that the whole world falls under the “One-China
Policy.” This may be a single nation’s greatest reward for fomenting evil in
the history of the world.
If the Second Coming were to take place, and Jesus
showed up sans mask, he would almost certainly be chastised and sent to a Quarantine
Camp. If He was lucky.
Regardless of what else we believe, this doesn’t bode
well for the rest of us.
