A new Morning Consult/Politico survey, conducted between
March 2nd and March 6th, and published on the 8th,
found that fully 44 percent of respondents believed it is “likely” reporters
“make up” anonymous sources.
But, according
to a source I can’t reveal, 43% of those 44% don’t believe the (supposed)
results of that very survey. President Trump himself does not like
anonymous-source reporting, and also believes that some- if not most- of these
sources are falsified, and that the “information” contained in these reporter’s
stories is often fabricated. Unless I just fabricated that information.
During
his address last month to the Conservative Political Action Conference, the
president stated: “They have no sources; they just make ‘em up when there are none,”
un-anonymously citing “himself” as the source for that accusation.
Only
36% of survey respondents said it is “not likely” journalists fabricate their
unnamed sources… according to an unnamed source.
