The UK And Canada Are Apparently Seeking MAID (Moronic Assistance In Dying)

 

According to a PJ Media report, a British teacher lost his job and was banned “from teaching altogether after reasonably arguing against mass illegal migration to his country.”

Sam Everett, the teacher, had recently expressed his opinion on social media that the British Navy should be enlisted to stop the unending invasion of third-world migrant men coming to the UK in small boats.

Everett, a physical education teacher in Darlington, once also had the temerity to state that illegal aliens should “respect our laws or leave.” What a radical! What kind of monster wants people to respect the laws of the land?!

An independent panel was promptly assembled to investigate the crazed educator. The panel subsequently recommended that Everett be allowed to retain his job and found that he was not guilty of racism. Or any other kind of “ism” for that matter. Numerous colleagues praised his record.

But the British government, with the intrepid Keir Starmer at the helm, would have none of it. Independent panels be damned, Britain’s Department for Education (DfE) eschewed the panel’s findings, ignored the evidence, and imposed a comprehensive ban on Everett that could prevent him from ever teaching again.

Meanwhile, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the Fairview School has banned all food in its cafeteria and lunchroom to respect Ramadan.

The UK-- and its similarly deranged dominion, Canada-- are off their respective rockers. They are batsh*t crazy. They have it in for themselves, bigly…to the point that they may well eventually become—even if inadvertently—a serious threat to the United States and the security and existence of the free world. They are not only weak links as regards NATO, but appear to be actively seeking their own destruction, by inviting the Muslim world in and/or cottoning to Communist China. This will have to be addressed at some point if things don’t take a U-turn in the near future. Islam—and Communism—are absolutely incompatible with a free, prosperous, democratic society or republic. It is one or the other.

This is terribly sad, and, in a sane world, would have been easily avoidable, but nonetheless here we are. Both the UK and Canada are far down a road that ought not have been travelled.

America: Then, Now, And In The Future

 

War. Nuclear weapons. Terrorism. The “Religion of Peace.” $39 trillion debt. Unsocial media. Fraud. Corruption. Lies. Hoaxes. Mainstream media, Big Education. Always more fraud, corruption, lies and hoaxes. Russian-collusion. COVID-1984. Lockdowns. Remember what they did to you? Or tried to? Artificial intelligence. Real ignorance.

It can’t end like this. We can’t let it. We owe it to ourselves and our children. And theirs.

Folks of my age remember growing up in an era when people in many areas of the country didn’t lock their doors at night. As kids, we ate lunch and our parents told us to go outside and find something to do, but be back in time for dinner. So we rode our bikes all over, feeling like kings. We were free. Some of us played wiffle ball or boot hockey. Some of us lucky enough to live near a lake went fishing or borrowed a kayak. We built tree houses and explored nearby fields and woods. As we got older, we went to drive-in movies. We had our first beer…and our first kiss. We were invincible, our whole lives ahead of us. Getting stronger every day. It was magnificent and we knew it. When we were free. It taught us how to make the right choices…like nothing else could. Ironically, being allowed to be kids in this way turned us into grown-ups quicker than if our every movement and thought was tracked and recorded. Over time, we began to gather wisdom. All of us who grew up that way remember it well. And, for those of us who have had serious health issues—and/or have “suddenly” become elderly— my God, it hurts how much we remember. We can’t ever go back to those halcyon days when everything worked and nothing hurt-- and everything was possible. Times have changed. There’s no changing that.

But we can do everything in our power to give our children the best life possible, one without constant fear of assault, declining standards of living and life expectancy, and government overreach. We must make the founders proclamation that we all have the right to life. Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness real again. We must do this for them. The uniquely American dream of buying a home, some land, and a modicum of privacy must not end here and now. So help us, God.

So how do we really Make America Great Again?

First, let’s look at what got us to the state we are in today, as therein may lie the answer: Evil uses ignorance and misplaced tolerance to destroy the good. Today’s Democratic-Socialist Party, the mainstream media, their accomplices in Big Education, Islam, along with sundry other far-left and/or anti-American activists, utilize this truism in their incessant attempts to bring down America (and the West in general).

The antidote? Don’t let them. Oh, sure, Eric, but how? Never agree with a lie. Never even stay silent when one is directed your way. Call, write, email, and text your representatives. Let them know your thoughts. Don’t look the other way. Don’t be afraid of condemnation. Don’t go along to get along. That is neither kind nor Christian, in fact at some point it is the road to perdition. Never miss a vote.

I am sick to death of the infighting amongst alleged conservatives: Megyn Kelly vs. Mark Levin, Tucker vs. reality, etc., etc. It is embarrassing and counterproductive. A true patriot would have better things to do.

              If we let it all slip away, it will be permanent. Our freedoms, once lost, will never be able to be fully recaptured or restored, in part due to what Churchill once called the “lights of perverted science.” Today that means the omnipresent cameras, “smart homes,” social media, and the rapid onslaught of Artificial Intelligence. More to the point, if the Democrats prevail in the upcoming midterms, the United States will immediately devolve into a one-party state and stay one until the sun expires. It will no longer be exceptional, but will join the ranks of so many other impoverished and totalitarian nations around the world, nations that offer no hope to any other.

And, at that point, it will be far too painful to remember the way we once were. Far too painful.

In the meantime, appreciate all you have, as it- and you- will soon be gone. Leave no heartfelt words unspoken, no sweet gesture incomplete, no act of love undone. Love your spouse with passion and abandon, your kids with patience and understanding, but also a firm guidance. Love also the truth, no matter how hard it may seem to be to do so. If pursued by enough people with enough courage, it really will set us free.

(And don't forget, we didn't ask to be born. We didn't create ourselves. We are not gods. There is a higher power.)

*Free markets are the most inclusive, tolerant, and unerringly precise markets possible. Things and services can only be worth what people will pay for them. This should not be a difficult concept. Any other way of setting prices is inherently inefficient, biased and discriminatory.

*Russia is allegedly supplying Iran with intelligence to help it fend off the Americans. What the hell are the lefties supposed to think now? They hate Russia-- and are willing to help fight a forever war against them via their proxy Ukraine-- but are oddly equally opposed to the United States in its conflict with the radical Iranian theocracy. They must be sadly conflicted.

*According to Life Site News, “The Canadian government has created a committee filled with euthanasia advocates to determine whether or not Canada should expand assisted suicide to those with mental illness.” Canada may decide to off those with mental illness?! Like those who are pro-Trump or MAGA, for example…because such people are obviously mentally ill, eh? Allow me a vignette:

*The Bank of England has confirmed that Sir Winston Churchill, the iconic leader who stood alone against Hitler for many months, will be removed from banknotes and replaced with images of wildlife. The central bank plans to survey the public as to which animals they would like to see on the next set of £5, £10, £20, and £50 notes.

GBN reported: “The move to replace historical figures with animals was described as ‘significant’ and ‘overdue’ by celebrity bird-watcher Nadeem Perera, who sits on the bank's panel of wildlife experts who will choose which English species will appear on the next set of banknotes.”

There is such a thing as a “celebrity bird-watcher?!” And why does a celebrity bird-watcher sit on a bank’s panel of wildlife experts? And why does a bank have a panel of “wildlife experts?!”

So, what species of wildlife will replace Churchill on British currency? A rat? Weasel? An invertebrate would be more fitting, given the current Prime Minister of England and his parliament. We know it won’t be from the canine family, given the ever-increasing population of Muslims in once Jolly Olde England. In fact, I’m betting it won’t be long until The Prophet Mohammed himself graces the currency. Perhaps there will even be enough room to put the 72 virgins on the back of the notes.

As many expected, the team wallowed in toxic masculinity and drunkenly partied down with drunken members of the far-right trump administration, a truly sickening display of nationalism, ableism, and misogyny. Hockey sucks, as it seems to be a sport of wealthy, far-right individuals who almost incessantly strive for excellence. Yuck.

*March 15--From the CNN newsroom: It has now become crystal clear that far-right President Donald J. Trump approved the attack on Iran simply because he doesn’t like to see women in hijabs and burkas. Moreover, Secretary of State Marco Rubio allegedly does not like Iranian food, further adding to the impetus to attack the sovereign nation once known as Persia, an action CNN has decried and repudiated since the attacks first started. At least three different anonymous sources contributed to this report.

Watching CNN attempt to portray itself as a legitimate news source is an appalling and repulsive—if mostly peaceful—endeavor, in and of itself. 

 

 

 

High Infidelity

 

Dear gentle readers (sorry, I watched ‘Bridgerton’ with my wife a few nights ago), see if you can detect a theme in the following stories.

First, per thegatewaypundit.com, “Britain’s far-left Green Party has defeated Nigel Farage’s Reform Party in a Manchester special election marred by Muslim voter fraud.” The election took place in an area with a very large Muslim population and was marred by extremely high levels of “family voting.” There oughta be a law.

But there is a law against rape—and gang rape—in virtually all Western nations…but it hasn’t done much good in the U.K. in recent years. Which is sadly not surprising given the fact that members of the kingdom’s highly “diverse” police force don’t just look away, but allegedly sometimes traffic the young girls or even rape them themselves. And then there’s Keir Starmer.

The rape of a young girl is a particularly heinous act, yet arguably not as heinous as killing everyone in a group of people because of their faith. Which is precisely what Achmat Akkad, a staffer at Mayor Mamdani’s New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, has proposed. Remarkably, Akkad is reportedly a community coordinator and “Mental Health First Aid Trainer,” and yet has relatively recently posted various anti-Semitic comments such as “1 Israeli left in this world would be one too many!” That’s all too clear. And Akkad is by no means the only over-the-top Jew-hater in Mamdani’s warmly collectivist administration. Do they consider the United States to be “the Great Satan?” Might be nice to know.

Meanwhile, at a school in the Wylie, Texas, Independent School District, a group called “WHY ISLAM” was somehow able to “set up a table on campus during school hours earlier this month without district approval.” Reports indicate that the group was giving out Qur’ans and hijabs to girls throughout the high school, and were also disseminating pamphlets touting Sharia law…in honor of World Hijab Day.

Being as there is no “World Bible Day,” I expect Christian groups throughout the land to remedy that oversight and hand out Bibles and crosses at k-12 schools across the fruited plane in the days leading up to Easter. Right?

Okay, probably not. Especially considering that a Christian teacher who sought a religious exemption when he was ordered to read an LGBTQ book to his first-graders, was (allegedly) threatened with termination if he did not. Eric Rivera was called into the principal's office and was given a "final warning" to teach “Stella Brings The Family” or lose his job.

It is clear that Christians are under attack from both Muslims and hyper-secularists. The ranks of Christians have been thinning for years now in the West, even as the numbers of Muslims and hyper-secularists continue to grow.

One thing is certain: a reckoning awaits.

 

Feminists For Toxic Muslim Misogyny

“Self-described feminists protesting strikes against Iran in Washington, D.C., are making common cause with a mosque backing the repressive Islamic regime. Code Pink, which calls itself an anti-war ‘feminist grassroots organization,’ collaborated with the Virginia-based Manassas Mosque and other allies for D.C. demonstrations on Feb. 10-11 and Monday against military action in Iran, Instagram posts show. The mosque called Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ‘our leader’ in a now-deleted Sunday Instagram post, announcing a Ramadan meal in honor of his ‘martyrdom’ after U.S.-Israeli attacks killed him on Saturday.”

The Shia mosque honored the legacy of the twisted bloodthirsty monster responsible for the deaths of countless Americans and hosted a remembrance service for him the day after he was furloughed and sent to Paradise? In Manassas, Virginia where thousands upon thousands of Americans died in the First and Second Battles of Manassas during the Civil War in an attempt to free a people and keep the Union together? Despicable.

The mosque is closely tied to the regime in Tehran-- or was when there was one. It describes itself thusly: “a community of pious, educated, socially conscious, and active Muslims.” Socially conscious you say? Well, historically, the more “active” the Muslim, the worse for everyone else, otherwise known as “infidels.”

One of the mosque’s (since-removed) blog posts lauded Qasem Soleimani, the Iranian general killed in a 2020 U.S. drone strike, who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American service members. Moreover, a video taken inside the mosque a few years ago showed that it was adorned with photos of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps “martyrs” (though the IRGC is a U.S. designated terrorist group), a life-sized cutout of Khameini, and various Iranian flags and slogans.

“Feminists for Islam” is an oxymoron if ever there was one, emphasis on moron. It is akin to “Jews for Hitler,” “Distilleries for Prohibition,” or “Democrats for Sanity.” It makes less than no sense. Do feminists really want to be forced to be clad head-to-toe in black apparel and be unable to leave the house without a man’s permission and presence? If so, that is a different kind of feminism than any that came before.

But, on second thought, it would be perfectly in keeping with the staggering irrationality of the era.

Consider this: progressives say that being gay or lesbian isn’t a choice, that a person is absolutely born that way and has no say in the matter. Okay. And they also say that no one is born male or female, rather they are simply “assigned” a sex at birth by an old school doctor and/or a cis trad parent. But those notions are mutually—definitionally—exclusive. If one isn’t either male or female at birth, it is impossible for them to be gay or lesbian at birth. As Charlie Kirk might say, prove me wrong. Can’t.

So, remember, abortion is “women’s health care!” And “feminism” is your Muslim husband slapping you around just a bit. Right?

 

"Lobstergate?": The Only Spending Democrats Decry Is That For Our Troops

 

A government watchdog report recently revealed that the Pentagon spent $6.9 million on lobster tails during a single month in late 2025. As per Fox news, “The expenditure was part of a record-breaking $93.4 billion ‘use-it-or-lose-it’ spree in September that included ribeye steaks, king crab, and luxury furniture.” Naturally, the mainstream media, and critics of the administration-- but I redundantly repeat myself—are lashing out at the expenditures. Which is hilarious and hypocritical, as this is just modern “baseline budgeting,” which has been standard operating procedure for every government department, federal, state, and local, for many years now.

That said, I am a huge and long-time proponent of drastically cutting government spending, largely because most of the money government siphons off from us it does so needlessly—or even to the detriment of society. Most often to the detriment of society. The debt is unsustainable and it is just a matter of time before Atlas Shrugs. In its various iterations and guises, government spending causes inflation, dependency, and the dissolution of the family. Much of it is sadly inherently corrupt and used to fund ever more corruption.

And yet Democrats are A-okay with all of this. (Some RINOs, too.) It suits their narrative, advances their agenda, and enhances their control.

However, there is one budget item of which they are totally aghast, one type of spending they cannot countenance and which they believe is an egregious affront to taxpayers. That heinous outlay recently surfaced in the form of treating the members of our military to a few nice dinners. That is a bridge too damn far, say Democrats! Providing steak and lobster dinners to our warriors on the eve of their deployment to the Middle East is utterly beyond the pale! My God, think of Middle American taxpayers, the mainstream media cries! This is an outrage!

Their outrage is an outrage. Whereas I believe the Pentagon should, like any other department of government, do everything in its power to reasonably contain costs, the first function of government is to protect its citizens. In fact, there is a logical case to be made, ala our Founders, that the federal government should have few other functions.

Democrats never met a kickback they didn’t like. (Let’s not even discuss the Uniparty’s love affair with Big Pharma.) “Money laundering” and “corruption” are their pronouns. Fraud is their raison d’ệtre. Millions of dollars to a “Quality Learing Center?” No problem. Billions in fraudulent Medicare payments? Meh. Fake autism centers, home health care companies, and non-emergency medical transport businesses? Whatever. USAID, NGOs? They love them like Don Lemon loves a camera. Because they put cash in their pocket.

Preposterous outlays to fund polyamory advocacy in Latvia? Hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund the development of an LGBTQ version of Sesame Street in Kenya? Millions to promote abortion around the world? Yeah, baby! A few tens of thousands of dollars to study the effect of cocaine on chickens? Granting Dr. Fauci a couple of million bucks to perform cruel and bizarre experiments on animals? You bet.

Giving our nearly poverty-stricken troops, the ones who protect us and our liberty, a small raise and treating them to a sumptuous dinner now and again? “That’s outrageous!” scream the Democrats and their media sycophants! A dozen or so of our military members have given the last full measure of devotion in the Iran War thus far. More than one hundred have been wounded.

Democrats want to give free healthcare and housing to illegal aliens across the country. Courtesy of American taxpayers. But they are unwilling to fund the DHS—and are upset when our troops are well fed.

Screw them. It is a tragic statement on the mental and spiritual health of this country that they are still a viable political entity.  

 

A Primer On Taxation And Productivity

 

“The wealthy are getting bigger tax breaks,” Democrats incessantly howl. Or, “The wealthy are poised to receive larger tax refunds than the less fortunate.” The proper response to these inane assertions would be, “Yes, and do you know why that is? It's because they pay more in taxes. In fact, by some measures, the top 1% of income earners pay nearly 40% of the federal income taxes.” The bottom half of income earners, or non-income earners, pay virtually no federal taxes at all.

This is as if progressives would be pissed off if somebody who spent $1000 at Menards got more money back via the company’s 11% rebate then somebody who spent $10 at Menards. That would be insane. Should we go to a progressive rebate structure, too, based on one’s income level? Those on the left would probably say yes. But, again, most wealthy people already pay far more in taxes via our “progressive” tax rate than do those less well-heeled. And that discrepancy doesn't even take into account the myriad other income transfer programs and schemes for which someone other than the recipients must pay. Nor does it consider or reflect the inconceivably vast levels of Democrat corruption and fraud-- or the related billions of dollars in freebies for illegal aliens that must either explode the debt or be paid for by higher income earners. To wit, Elon Musk recently claimed that he has paid over $10 billion in cumulative taxes as the most soaked individual taxpayer in history.

As California, among other states, is poised to find out, if you punish the talented, productive and job-producing, you will be left with the incompetent, shiftless, and welfare-addicted. And you sentence your state—and its residents-- to a dismal and dystopian future.

In a related story, new New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani promised his constituents “free” buses. And the city’s first “Free” Grocery Store just opened. Fox News reported that “hundreds of New Yorkers queued up outside a pop-up shop offering free groceries.”

But how can anything be truly free? Will farmers donate their produce? Will shipping and packaging be done for free? Are store employees willing to work for nothing? (Hell, they’re barely willing to work for good wages.) So, in the end, guess who pays? Guess who always pays?

Looks like we’ve got some ‘splainin’ to do. Okay, Democrats, for there to be a product or service that some people “are not paying for,” others would have to not be paid for their labor. Of course, this cannot be the case, at least at scale. So, what people mean when they say something is free, is that others must be made to pay for it. And when some people are made to pay more and more for things that are provided to other people for free, they will naturally do the logical thing and flee that state or municipality, taking their productivity-- and money-- with them. This is doubly bad for the state from which they fled. But, a large, and apparently growing, percentage of the populace either doesn't understand the connection, or doesn't care as long as they can get free stuff, provided by others. These are not the “moral” people that John Adams and the other founders were Speaking of, as regards the Constitution.

When government demonizes the most productive segment of the population and confiscates ever more of its money, those in that population tend to try to protect themselves and their families’ financial future. Surprise! Who woulda thunk?

But so-called progressives live in an alternate “reality,” albeit one that can never become real. At some point, Atlas Shrugs.

Britain To Ban 67 Dog Breeds?

 

The Daily Mail has reported that “Sixty-seven dog breeds could be banned in Britain if new breeding guidelines set by parliament become mandatory.” It added that “The all-party parliamentary group (APPG) for animal welfare has launched a new tool to determine if a dog is healthy.” This tool doesn’t concern itself with a dog’s actual health and eschews clues such as a shiny coat, general disposition and demeanor, healthy appetite, etc. No, these assessments/guidelines include “extreme” or “exaggerated attributes” such as “mottled coloration, excessive skin folds, bulging outward-turning eyes, drooping eyelids, under or overbite and a muzzle that interrupts breathing.” The assessment, currently voluntary, is reportedly expected to become law within five years, although those behind the new “tool” claim these reports are “misinformation.”

If mottled coloration, excessive skin folds and drooping eyelids are problematic, most humans in the U.K. would be banned, as well. Beagles, dachshunds, Great Danes and Saint Bernards are among breeds that would likely be targeted by the new guidance. Well, “beagle” has “eagle” within it, and that is an American symbol most unwelcome in Keir Starmer’s Britain. Dachshund? German; equals Hitler. Great Dane? Fairly Decent Dane would be less ableist and less likely to offend those of lesser stature. Saint Bernard? Carries unacceptable Christian overtones. Even on a purely DEI basis, these breeds are problematic!

In truth, the proposed new health tool is likely a response to the U.K.’s surging Muslim population, as Islamic law considers dogs dirty and unworthy. Much as it abhors alcohol. (It is no coincidence that many hundreds of British pubs, once iconic pillars of British communities, have closed in recent years.)

British Navy Only Working Nine-To-Five?

 

As you have probably heard, the British navy……well, here’s how The Daily Caller put it: “The Royal Navy’s mission to intercept Iranian drone threats has stalled in port because the Portsmouth repair yard now operates on a ‘nine-to-five’ schedule.”

Well, wouldn’t want to put anybody out, would we? Except, perhaps, the victims of Iranian drone attacks.

The mission to protect a British airbase from Iranian drone strikes was essentially placed on hold while maintenance crews finish welding and system overhauls during standard business hours, The Telegraph recently reported. The deployment of HMS Dragon (an air-defense destroyer designed to intercept high-speed missile and drones) to Cyprus has purportedly been delayed because the Ministry of Defence and private contractor Serco restricted shifts as a “cost-cutting” measure. Starmer probably needs the money to fund his country’s endless programs to care for illegal aliens.

Nine-to-five? Really?! There is a war going on, lads. Even if it isn’t yours. The Royal Navy was the biggest—and best—on earth not too long ago. Now that navy appears less than formidable…if not actually non-viable to use a term abortionists favor. This is sadly symbolic of the whole of Britain, a once great nation that appears to be intent on aborting itself. Hey, Prime Minister Starmer, if you listen closely you can hear Churchill and Thatcher weeping. Not that you would care.

Contrast this with the U.S. military, past and present. Case in point: the USS Yorktown was gravely—almost fatally-- damaged during the Battle of the Coral Sea in World War II. It was expected that repairs to the vital carrier, one of only a handful the US had at the time, would take several weeks or more. Instead, the ship’s dedicated and motivated repair teams, working around the clock, miraculously completed repairs in just 72 hours. Their sacrifice and hard work in getting the Yorktown battle ready again allowed her to participate in the Battle of Midway, where the Yorktown played a vital role in the battle that was to be the turning point in the war in the pacific.

As President Trump recently stated, the United States doesn’t really need the Brits in the fight against Iranian terror. Yet one would think that the Brits might want to feel needed in this regard.

But Starmer does not wish to do anything to alienate or upset the U.K.’s massive and ever-increasing Muslim population. Truth be told, Britain has already been defeated.

In any case, you stand no chance of winning if you’re only willing to work nine-to-five.
