It was recently announced that Apple
has adopted 37 new emojis, including a pregnant
man emoji. (It’s about time!)
Apple has introduced a vast array
of symbols and emojis over the years. Back in the bad old fuddy-duddy days,
when reactionaries were running rampant-- in 2017-- Apple introduced a breastfeeding
mom emoji. How quaint!
The following year, it was reported
that the trans community had adopted the lobster
emoji, because lobsters can be gynandromorphs, creatures that display both
male and female characteristics. (Well, that would certainly speed up the
dating process!) This, too, was decidedly old-school, as today progressives
claim that there are no such things as “male” or “female”
characteristics. Hence, the dire need for a pregnant man emoji. And, of course,
a breastfeeding dad/man emoji.
I’m sure Apple will soon announce
the addition of a “well-hung woman” emoji. I’d like to see a Republican
with balls emoji and a pig with wings emoji. They could join other things that do
not exist, such as unicorns, mermaids, and sane Democrats.
