Pelosi's Choice For Transportation Committee Chair Hits Other Vehicle While Trying To Park Her Car

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s top pick for Transportation Committee Chairwoman, Eleanor Holmes Norton, 84, was recently seen on video repeatedly driving her car into a parked vehicle. She then parked at an odd angle, so that the front and back of her vehicle was virtually up against the rears of both of the two cars in the adjoining spaces. (One vehicle in a neighboring parking space was facing in, the other out.) Norton had trouble getting out of her car and didn’t even bother to leave a note on the vehicle she scraped up against. And Pelosi wants her to be the Transportation Committee Chair?

This is sadly and absurdly typical of today’s Democrats. They propose the most preposterous policies and support the least qualified, most ridiculous candidates.

Who does Pelosi favor as the head of Housing and Urban Development, a homeless guy from the streets of San Francisco? Who would be her choice to lead the Department of Justice? Ghislaine Maxwell? Peter Strzok? Andrew Cuomo? Jeffrey Toobin? Would she want Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to be Education Secretary? Bozo the Clown? Or perhaps Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China. That would, of course, be unconstitutional, though. Not that the Constitution has been much of an impediment to Democrats lately.

And who would she recommend for Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff? On second thought, never mind, it would be impossible to find two people more inept-- dangerous, in fact, to the well-being of America and her citizens—then Lloyd Austin and Mark A. Milley, who are currently occupying those positions.

On second thought, what the hell, let’s give Ms. Holmes Norton a chance. I’m sure she’ll do a bang-up job.
