The United States federal government collected a
record $3,586,456,000,000 in total taxes through the first eleven months of fiscal
2021 (October 2020 through August 2021), according to the Monthly Treasury
Statement. The federal government also collected a record $1,829,589,000,000 in
individual income taxes in that same period.
However, because the federal
government somehow managed to spend $6,297,090,000,000, the Treasury
still ran a deficit of $2,710,634,000,000. Stupefying.
And the Biden administration
and most of its fellow Democratic lunatics-in-power want to enact a $3.5 trillion tax increase. Anyone know a stronger word
than “stupefying?”
