Incredibly, immunity deals between the FBI and the
Department of Justice on the one hand, and former Clinton chief-of-staff Cheryl
Mills and ex-campaign staffer Heather Samuelson on the other, require the FBI
to destroy the latter’s laptop computers
after reviewing them. Moreover, sources recently told Fox News that a ‘side
arrangement,’ of which there were several, limited
any search to no later than January 31st, 2015. This precludes
investigators from reviewing any documents for the period after the email
server became public, thereby preventing
them from discovering any potential evidence of obstruction of justice.
This
should be considered obstruction of justice in and of itself. Richard Nixon
must be rolling over in his grave. Who is going to investigate the FBI and
Obama’s Injustice Department? Why are they working together- and with
Democratic operatives- to stymie the near certain discovery of criminal
behavior on the part of members of that party? And why were the FBI and DOJ voluntarily negotiating ‘side deals’
when the laptops could have been easily obtained without condition via subpoena? Even Judiciary Committee aides
admitted they were stunned by the agreement(s), and stated that Mills and
Samuelson already had immunity from the
consequences of whatever might be on the laptop.
They
also emphasized that the destruction of the laptops means that the computers
could not be used as evidence in any future legal proceedings, if new
information or circumstances arise. Coincidentally, the side deals were agreed
upon less than a month prior to FBI Director James Comey’s announcement that
his agency would recommend that no charges be brought against Hillary Clinton
or her staff.
House
Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., expressed similar
incredulity in a letter he sent to Attorney General Loretta Lynch. “Doesn’t the
willingness of Ms. Mills and Ms. Samuelson to have their laptops destroyed by
the FBI contradict their claim that the laptops could have been withheld
because they contained non-relevant, privileged information? If so, doesn’t
that undermine the claim that the side agreements were necessary?” Goodlatte
queried.
That’ll
be quite enough sanity, Bob.
Sadly,
it is abundantly clear that obvious shams and scams trump logic and reason
among our political and media elites these days. Forty-some years later, we’re
still well aware of the Cold War era ‘Watergate Scandal,’ a comparatively mild,
shallow and inept attempt by certain individuals to gain inside information on the
opposition party. Does anyone seriously believe that, forty years hence, the
collusion between massive governmental institutions and the Clinton Democratic
Machine- to suppress information that would harm them but help the American
people and the democratic process- will be freely talked about and taught in
schools? That’s laughable. Why? In large part because American mainstream media-
Big Media- has literally become an extension of the progressive movement. Any
substantive differences between MSNBC, PBS, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, the New York
Times, etc., etc., and Pravda and Tass are rapidly dissolving.
Somebody
once said that, “power corrupts…and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
The United States of America was founded with just that
truism in mind. We are in the trouble we are in now because we are aloof to
that fact. The Founders would never have let things go this far.
It is
time for a Second American Revolution.
