New York Mayor Bill De Blasio A Terrorist?

                The Team Hillary Clinton emails released by WikiLeaks are appointment reading, and one thing is certain: there is a consistent theme amongst them: the "Basket of Deplorables" is truly ginormous!

                This latest batch reveals its hatred of traditional Catholics, southerners, and Bernie Sanders supporters... such as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. De Blasio had the audacity to go on NBC's "Meet The Press" in the late spring of 2015 and not endorse Hillary. What is more, he praised Bernie Sanders. This apparently didn't sit well with Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook and spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri. Mook fired off a brief email to Palmieri: "Wow. What a terrorist," to which Palmieri responded, "Told you!"

                I am anything but a Sanders fan, and have nothing but disdain for the mayor, but this is not exactly a well thought out, reasoned argument. The Obama administration, of which Hillary was a part, won't even call terrorists "terrorists," but two of Her top aides reflexively call the current mayor of New York a terrorist? Their knee-jerk reaction is illustrative. This is what passes for' thinking' on the left: "If you disagree with me, you are a terrorist." It is no wonder that they want to ban freedom of speech and repeal the First Amendment, among others.

                Emails apparently hacked from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta's private account also referred to Bernie Sanders supporters in general as "self-righteous" whiners. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Say hello to the Trump supporters, folks. Into the basket you go. Other emails called Hispanic party leaders such as Bill Richardson "needy Latinos," labeled CNN anchor Jake Tapper "a d--k," and even savaged erstwhile Clinton ally Sidney Blumenthal. Into the basket, boys! (These comments comprised part of an April 2011 email discussion between Ms. Palmieri and John Halpin, a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, an organization he founded).

                These emails should be by far the most important revelations of the presidential race to date, particularly the ones relating how Hillary Clinton has come “to hate everyday Americans” and emphasizing the need for her kind to maintain political power by producing “an unaware and compliant citizenry.” Slaves. This, while tragically not surprising to engaged and informed people, should be seen as potentially the most important and game-changing news for America since World War II… if not the Civil War. Yet, in a preposterous travesty and titanic miscarriage of justice, American mainstream media outlets are steadfastly refusing to report on this ongoing story.

                The same media types that got so aroused by their own importance in doggedly unearthing evidence of the Watergate scandal are now desperately attempting to help Hillary cover up her vastly more damaging misbehavior and incompetence.

                Try to imagine what the media response would have been if Donald Trump was caught saying he “hates everyday Americans,” or his campaign was caught stating that they needed to get or retain power by “producing an unaware and compliant citizenry.” He would have been summarily forced out of the race.
