Transgender Takes Pics Of Other Woman In Target Dressing Room

A 43-year-old man was arrested July 12th in Ammon, Idaho, on one count of felony voyeurism. The man, who claims to be a transgender woman by the name of Shauna Patricia Smith, was apparently dressed as a woman when he was caught taking pictures of a woman while each were inside adjacent dressing rooms at the local Target store.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the store after the victim noticed that someone was reaching over the dressing room wall with a cell-phone, taking pictures as she tried on clothes. The victim confronted the suspect who proceeded to flee from the store on foot, according to the Sheriff’s department release. Detectives then reviewed witness information and security footage from Target, which led them to Smith, the release said. Smith was interviewed and subsequently taken into custody by detectives, and was booked into the Bonneville County Jail. Investigations are underway to determine if any more victims exist relating to this event.  A Sheriff’s Office spokesman stated that it isn’t yet known whether the reported victim was wearing underwear when she was photographed.
Here is how the Idaho Falls Post Register described the suspect, in the first paragraph of their front-page article on the incident: “A transgender Idaho Falls woman was arrested Tuesday on one count of felony voyeurism for a report that she took pictures of another woman changing clothes in a dressing room at Target in Ammon.” (Emphases mine). The article went on to say that the “woman,” Shauna Patricia Smith, was in custody “in the Bonneville County Jail under the name Sean Smith, according to the jail’s active inmate roster.” A Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office news release said the suspect is also known as Sean P. Smith.
Notice that even though the suspect is a biological male, and his mug shot bears no hint of femininity, the paper repeatedly refers to him as a female. Are we to then believe “her” attraction for the “other woman”- so strong “she” risked (and got) jail time for it by taking unauthorized photos- was of a lesbian nature? Is he this person a “transgender lesbian?”
This wasn’t the first such incident at a Target store. On June 22, police in New Hampshire arrested 22-year-old Zachary Bishop for recording underage girls in a Target changing room. Moreover, police have reported incidents of cell-phone voyeurism in Target changing rooms and restrooms in various locations around the country. Where is the media coverage of these outrages? I guess the victims of these abuses aren’t part of a pushy but organized special interest group. They don’t have an entire political party behind them.
Things don’t happen in a vacuum. Social-engineering is as often regressive as progressive, and shouldn’t take place in our bathrooms- or our military. Why were bathrooms separated by gender in the first place? There just may have been a reason.
Over 1.3 million people have signed a Boycott Target petition over the last couple of months. The company’s stock price has fallen from $83.50 a share on April 19th to under $74 a share today. Transgender? TransTarget. That is progressive!
