Planned Parenthood Joins Black Lives Matter Twitter Campaign!

                 Planned Parenthood, that stout pillar of belief in the preciousness of life, has joined the “Black Lives Matter” movement via its Twitter campaign. A recent tweet from the Planned Parenthood Black Community read: “We are joining #Ferguson organizers and protesters in DC today—standing in solidarity with you! #HandsUpWalkOut#BlackLivesMatter.”

                This is a tad ironic, given that the Black Community is much smaller than it would be if not for Planned Parenthood. 79% of Planned Parenthood’s abortion clinics are “within walking distance of African American or Hispanic/Latino neighborhoods,” according to the pro-life group “Protecting Black Life.” Martin Luther King Junior’s niece, Alveda King, herself a civil rights activist, has described Planned Parenthood as “the most obvious practitioner of racism in the United States.”

                Planned Parenthood, that unflagging repository of morality, is itself the number one killer of black people in America. How’s that, you say?! Abortion is the top cause of death in the African-American community, responsible for the demise of over 360,000 black babies every year.

                Planned Parenthood performs the vast majority of abortions in America.

                To call this an absurdity is to do great disservice to the term. If Twitter was around in earlier times, an equivalent asininity might be an early 1940’s tweet: “The Third Reich is joining #SaveTheJews in their Munich protests today—standing in solidarity with our kosher brethren! #HitlerSaysHandsUpWalkingToTheGasChambers#JewishLivesMatter.”
