LA Mayor Karen Bass Says California Governors' Race Already Over

 

Los Angeles Mayor Karen (‘Largemouth’) Bass recently joined repulsive ex-ESPN personalities Jemele Hill and Cari Champion on something called the ‘Flagrant and Funny’ podcast to talk about her reelection campaign, the runoff, and the Palisades and Altadena fires. She breezily, confidently, and snarkily dismissed the state’s governor race like the Biden administration dismissed thoughts of border control. (And like she dismisses concerns about her role in the aforementioned fires.)

This most Karen of Karens stated of Californians, “All They needed to see was the ‘R’ behind his name. That’s why the governors’ race right now is over. Our governor’s name is Javier Becerra. You don’t need an election on November 3^rd. A Republican cannot win in this state!”

Sieg Heil! 

So, Californians are so intolerant, close-minded, unwelcoming, and exclusionary that they won’t even consider voting for anyone with an ‘R’ behind their name? Amazing. She claimed that the governors’ race “is over” and that Javier Becerra has effectively already won? And that the upcoming election isn’t needed, because “a Republican cannot win” in California?

I knew Democrats cheated, in part by conjuring up endless mail-in ballots after ‘election day,’ but now they have found a way to guarantee their candidates win long before ‘election day?’

Democrats always express their deepest fears that Trump and the rascally Republicans may see to the end of “our democracy.” So much so that they sued to get Trump off the ballot in multiple states in 2024. And they now are suggesting that elections are no longer needed because one of the two major political parties in this country cannot (be allowed to) win elections…or doesn’t deserve to.

That is the opposite of democracy…and a representative republic. It is tyranny. The media, academia—and a great many RINOS—will not hold these power-hungry charlatans accountable.

It is up to us to do so.

Giving Birth In Massachusetts? Expect A Visit From Big Brother

 

The governor of Massachusetts, Maura Healey, is seeking millions of dollars to fund her proposed statewide postpartum home visits. The voluntary program would offer free home “visits” to every new parent, to screen for mental health issues and…and what else?

Over at Townhall, writer Amy Curtis, eschewing the first-person narrative, noted: “After this writer's second child was born, the city where she lived at the time sent a government employee to check on her. Tired, sore from the delivery, and home alone with a toddler and a newborn, she was too surprised by the unannounced visit to say no. But looking back, the whole thing was creepy. The woman walked around the entire apartment, even though her baby was sleeping in the living room.”

Creepy, indeed.

The “Welcome Family” program would be better branded as the “WTF?” program. Besides depression, what might a typically “progressive” government “visitor” screen for? A MAGA hat on a table? A cross on a wall? Lee Greenwood music playing in the background? You know they’ll be looking for firearms. And, what if a new parent’s laptop happens to be open to an article by, say, a "far-right" conservative?! Quicker than Michael Moore can snatch up a jelly donut, the baby in that home would be gone with the proverbial wind.

How many other government programs began by being “voluntary” or temporary and ended up becoming mandatory and permanent? A great many. And no problem has ever been made better by inviting government bureaucrats into our homes. (“I’m from the government and I’m here to help!”)

A better and more effective way to address the issue of growing violence being visited on babies and toddlers would be to truthfully face the devastating degradation of our culture, mores, and morals brought about by “progressive” big government policies themselves.

 

 

Immigration Without Assimilation: Death Knell For The West

 

The majority of today's immigrants, particularly the illegals, appear to loathe everything about the United States but it's money/wealth. Far too many of them are effectively saying, “We detest capitalism, your system of government, your Christian faith, Judeo-Christian values, and your culture, all of which we are zealously trying to change. But do continue to pay us and put us up so that we can live comfortably without needing to work.”

Also, “We much prefer the brutality, stonings, misogyny, pedophilia, arranged marriages, and gang rape of young women (and perhaps occasionally a goat or two) to what we have found here. Which is why we are going to eventually force you to dispense with Christianity, dogs, pork, alcohol, and popular music, all of which are sinful, evil, bad news. Not Halal!”

Who the hell would go along with that?! What kind of sad-sack civilization would tolerate this? The answers to those questions are: far too damn many of us, and most Western ones, apparently. As driven by the Communists, the Karens, the AWFULs, and assorted other indoctrinated and mentally ill folks.

These allegedly “tolerant” and “welcoming” clowns should try going to Somalia, Afghanistan, Iran, or any of dozens of other Muslim nations, attempt to get them to change their “religion,” customs, and culture... and see how that goes. They could unfurl their “Gays for Gaza” banners and feel the love.

The overwhelmingly vast majority of previous (and legal) immigrants, be they English, Norwegian, Irish, German, et. al., desperately wanted to assimilate with America…and become Americans. They were not looking for a handout, only a chance to succeed with hard work and a clean nose.

Conversely, 81% of Somalis in Minnesota (a.k.a. New Somalia) are on the government dole. Others are involved in almost ubiquitous lucrative fraud schemes. This is not possible in Somalia—or any other Muslim nation—because only Capitalism and free markets, combined with a Judeo-Christian work ethic, can generate that kind of wealth.

Yet, we find ourselves in the midst of allowing a tyrannical political ideology cloaked in religious garb to “fundamentally transform” our country. Preposterous but true.

So we see Mexican flags, Somali flags (even apart from the new state flag of Minnesota), and Palestinian flags, among others, in our streets and on our campuses. “Free Palestine!” They might try freeing their minds, instead.

The Quran famously requires Muslims to convert, enslave, or dispatch with “infidels” like us.

I have a countersuggestion for them: gratefully assimilate, seek legitimate employment, or get the hell out of the country.   

 

 

 

Am I A Truther?

 

North Carolina Democrat state legislative candidate Shelly Headen recently took to Facebook to post a picture from her vacation to Germany. Was the pic perhaps of a bucolic Oktoberfest scene? The Alps? The North Sea? A Black Forest Torte?

Nope, Headen was shown standing in front of crematorium ovens in Dachau, an erstwhile German concentration camp, now a somber memorial. She chose the accompanying words to compliment the photo: “Visiting Dauchau [sic] Concentration Camp in Germany… This is where Trump supporters belong.” At least 41,500 people were murdered there. How is this possible?

Astoundingly, on her Facebook page, Headen asserts that she is a CPA and business owner “running to restore human decency.” There is no metaphor, allusion, simile, or other semantic device that can come close to illustrating the insanity and depravity of that assertion. It is as insane as someone stating that a person who viciously murdered all three of her kids is “a darn good mother.” Oh, wait, that recently happened, too.

One might think that suggesting that one’s political opponents be subjected to mass extermination by crematorium ovens would not be a particularly good look for a politician. However, at this point who knows? Maybe it was just her hormones acting up.

Long-time readers know I often write about truth. The truth which we are Biblically encouraged to seek. Tragically, progressives/Democrats/Communists see that truth as out of fashion today. And so it is mocked. Reviled. “Refuted.” Dismissed. Even held up as evil. “The” truth is out. “My” truth is in. Which, they think, allows for mass murderers and wannabe mass murderers to be characterized as “darn good mothers,” and to say that they are “running to restore human decency.”

So, here we are: men can become women-- and vice-versa-- just by wishing it so. The COVID lockdowns and vaccines were both necessary and successful. And immigration-- illegal or otherwise-- enriches us beyond measure…while every ICE agent should be thrown in jail. (Yet, oddly enough, ALL invasive species are a direct threat to our environment and ecosystems!)

Boy Scouts are admitting girls. Girl Scouts are visiting mosques to try on hijabs and other fun accoutrements.

Progressives believe the violence they perpetrate is protected speech, but that conservative speech is violence and should be prosecuted.

We have come a long, long way from the days of “Leave it to Beaver,” “Father Knows Best,” and “Little House on the Prairie.” Down a road that ought not have been travelled.

When your culture is a sewer, the rats will proliferate. “Progressive” policies and beliefs have turned our culture into a sewer. A great big nasty one. We have ever more rapidly slouched towards Gomorrah. Sadly, when there is any significant pushback to this toxic mess, such as during today’s Trump administration, the rats go ballistic. And, for some reason, the majority of folks, including Republicans in positions of power, are hyper risk-averse and terrified of being called names, even though they know the smears are false. As someone once said, politics is downstream from culture. That has been made abundantly clear in recent years. We sure could use a man like George Washington again.

Will Headen’s claim that she is running to “restore human decency,” which of course means that we must put all Trump supporters in Nazi concentration-camp-style ovens and bake them until they are nice and crispy, disqualify her from being a candidate in the upcoming election? Probably not.

Or could her unspeakably vile post adversely affect other women who have aspirations of higher office? Probably not. Might be more likely she accumulates hundreds or thousands of supporters, clad in pink, making heart signs with their hands and donating to her campaign.

As I have noted before, someone, likely Orwell, once said: “The more a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.” Truer words were never spoken.

I am not a “truther,” in the sense that I don’t believe the 9/11 conspiracy theories, in specific. But it should be noted that a great many other “conspiracy theories” have proven to be true. A number of which I wrote about at the time. (Russian collusion, COVID, etc., etc.) If that makes me a truther, so be it. If we aren’t willing to stand up for even the most obvious—and important—truths, what will we stand up for? Nothing that matters.

And that’s the truth.

Islam, Marxism, Insanity Advancing Apace In North America

 

Apparently, women must now be accompanied by a male guardian to enter at least one retail outlet in Ontario, Canada. If Canadian women want to enter that shop, they must act like they are living under Sharia Law. If you must act like you’re living under Sharia Law, you are effectively living under Sharia Law. One would think this would send women’s libbers into paroxysms of anger, but this is not the case, because, you know, “Islamophobia.” Gotta be tolerant! Unless you are a Muslim.

Also in The Great White North, anything that you say, post, blog, or infer, can—and quite possibly will—be used against you via its ludicrous hate crime laws (“319, sub 2, ‘Willful Promotion of Hate.’”). And some Muslims are using this to harass the natives. Make no mistake, Canada is now a police state. No wonder it wants to join the likes of England as an Associate Member of the Europeon European Union.

What’s more, opinions and jokes can now be considered threats and hate speech in the Deranged Dominion. (An Ottawan, an Albertan, and a Muslim walk into a bar. The bartender says, “How can I help you boys?” The Ottawan says, “Hey, don’t assume our gender identity! I’ll have a Shirley Temple.” The Albertan says, “I’ll have a whiskey, straight-up, pardner.” The Muslim says, “Alcohol is not halal! Mohamed forbids this!” And shoots the bartender dead. At which point the Ottawan, clearly extremely disturbed, warns the bar’s patrons against “Islamophobia.” Please don’t send this post—or joke—to Canadian authorities. Or to the Democrat-Socialists of America, for that matter.)

In other news, not one, not two, but three Mohammeds have been charged with day care fraud in San Diego. There’s a shock. (Minneapolis says, “Hold my [non-alcoholic!} beer, I’ve got this.”) I am beginning to wonder if there is a single legitimate Muslim-owned business in the United States. And, an overwhelming percentage of illegal immigrants receive government support.

And yet, ignorant, pseudo-tolerant, virtue-signaling clowns like Democrat Hallie Shoffner, running to unseat Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), just told an Arkansas-based podcast that illegal alien field hands are so valuable she’d swap five U.S. workers for a single one of them. She’d deport five American citizens to keep one illegal alien? And there are those who claim that Democrats do not favor illegals/immigrants over American citizens! Perhaps she is fond of her gardener and pool boy. And what has any American employee of Costco, Buc-ees, Amazon, Ford, or Netflix ever done for her? Or any that toil at her local restaurants, salons, pubs, schools, hospitals, or waste management companies?

Attention all non-Communist, non-insane Americans: Democrats and their pathetic remoras in the mainstream media really do disdain you. Marxists really are on the march. Muslims, whether passively or aggressively, really are attempting a long-term takeover of this nation. Suicidal empathy really will destroy us if we let it.

I am utterly gob-smacked when I see how tolerant of evil a great many Americans have become. How okay so-called “feminists” and “liberals” and assorted other whackos and deviants are with the rise of Islam. And how relatively sanguine even many republicans are with the rapid metastasis of Marxism. 

We cannot be “tolerant” of ideologies that are trying to see to our demise, to put it politely, if we wish to survive. That should be obvious on its face. A society that welcomes, fetes, and rewards those who want to convert, enslave, or kill it, is obviously condemned to extinction.

 

Catholicism 2.0

 

Pope Leo XIV has appointed pro-synodality Bishop Pedro Luis Fuentes Valencia, C.P., to Military Ordinary for Bolivia. Valencia is open to Holy Communion for active homosexuals and to the “ordination” of women to the diaconate. Moreover, in 2023, the Bolivian bishops’ conference quoted him as admonishing attendees that they must have “the courage to make a different Church.” Does he want to “fundamentally transform” the Catholic Church? Christianity? If so, he is by no means the only Church leader who wishes to do so.

The Vatican itself (okay, Pope Leo again) formally asked Catholics to ‘esteem’ other faiths in its latest document on interreligious dialogue and “fraternity.” Said document notes: “The defensive entrenchment in one’s own position and the view that proselytism is the only way to engage with the other no longer make sense in a world that increasingly resembles an interconnected and constantly evolving global village.” Let me translate: 1) It takes a village; 2) Truth is relative; 3) Evangelism is so yesterday, and speaking of Christ is not nearly as important as getting along with other religions, even those that want to convert, enslave, or kill us.

As a Christian, this seems odd. Even hopeless and self-defeating. The document encourages “constant dialogue with cultures, religions, and consciences” in an effort to achieve “universal fraternity.” Good luck with that. Do we really want to achieve ‘fraternity,” universal or otherwise, with terrorists, pedophiles, and fraudsters? And then, “The poor, in all the forms their vulnerability may take, are the compass that allows us to know whether we are moving in the right direction.” Like, towards the poor? To be fair, we are watching the feminization, infantilization, and transing of nearly all mainline Christian churches-- in real time. And they are mirroring the rest of society as they become gayer and more Marxist and drift further and further away from Biblical teaching and truth.

So, Apostle Paul is out and RuPaul is in.

I’m sure he she will find Sharia Law to his her liking.

 

 

Which Upcoming Election Will Be More Momentous For The Nation

 

Comparing J.D. Vance, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and Ron DeSantis to Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, Pete Buttigieg, and Alexandria Occasional-Cortex is akin to comparing Washington, Adams, and Jefferson to Larry, Moe, and Curly.

Any rational, objective, sober person would have to admit that. Have to. The problem is, a significant percentage of the people in this country are neither rational, objective, nor sober. In fact, many are now apparently unable to determine what a woman is-- and also purport to be gob-smacked that a juror could not get over the fact that a woman “viciously murdered” all three of her children.

Ergo, I am still deeply concerned. Throw in the Democrats’ proclivity—and talent-- for cheating in various forms, and, sadly, nothing would surprise me. Moreover, if a blue wave washes through the upcoming 2026 midterms, that may be all she wrote for the republic, in any case.

If the newly minted Demo-commies take control of the House and the Senate, we will be back to endless impeachment hearings…and an end to the America First Agenda. There will be incessant talk of globalization, climate change disaster, green energy, “empathetic” immigration laws, defunding the police and military, packing the court, increasing the funding for NPR, reinstituting USAID in all its infamy, and putting Israel in its place. Land acknowledgements might be read before every PTA, board, and Girl Scout meeting. Drag Queen Story Hours would be held in every school, church, and library across the ever-more fruited plane. Mail-in balloting might become the only legal way to cast a vote…you know, “to protect our democracy.” Fraud would continue to consume obscene amounts of taxpayers’ money. The 20% or so of Somalis that aren’t on the government dole would become even richer through fake “learing centers,” non-existent adult day care businesses, and faux trucking companies, among other entities. Most, like the ones that inhabit the building in which I toil, will own high-end, new model SUVs and other expensive vehicles, paid for by you and I. Hope I can afford a vehicle like that one day.

If the DSA types win this November, we can look forward to even more anti-Christian propaganda, even more churches burning, even more Muslims praying in the streets of our cities, even more males in girls’ locker-rooms and bathrooms. And even more theft and looting…and even more small companies being forced out of business. Despite what they say, today’s Progressive Democrats really don’t care if there is a “chicken in every pot” as much as they care that there is pot in every household. Because they know that Christianity isn’t the “opiate of the masses,” opiates, crack, and pot are the opiates of the masses…and can make those masses so delusional they would vote for demonic clowns like today’s Progressive Democrats. Therefore, they want to take even more money from productive citizens and use it to give the homeless free crack pipes and illegal aliens free Medicare.

But don’t get me started or I might go off on a rant about these ignorant, satanic a-holes that want to destroy the last, best hope on Earth, eliminate personal freedoms, and make a mockery of God Himself.

Democrats Still Want To Keep Black Folks On Their Plantation

 

About a decade ago I wrote a post in part about Democrats disdain for black folks who wander off their government plantation. A couple of years later I penned one about a study that showed white liberals condescend to black people. (That shouldn’t have been a shock.)

Those “progressives” who try to make blacks believe the only hope they have is to rely on them (the “progressives”) to throw them a bone now and again—as long as they continue to vote the right way—are no different than the slave-masters of old. In fact, if blacks believe this message—and abide by the progressives’ wishes—there really is no hope for them, because if you don’t believe it is possible for you to achieve a better, freer, life on your own, it will be impossible for you to achieve a better, freer, life on your own. By doing this, progressives ensure that black folks who buy their message and obey them will never be able to escape a kind of mental, spiritual, and economic slavery. That is not moral, it is not caring, it is not tolerant. If you ask me, it is despicable and borderline criminal. The soft bigotry of low expectations isn’t that soft. In fact, it is devastating. But, just as Leftists don’t wish to hold others responsible, or don’t believe certain groups are capable of being responsible, they themselves do not want to be held accountable for any or all the damage they’ve done, either. In the wake of the Democrats’ indignant response to President Trump’s alleged attempt at bribing Americans to vote for Republicans in the upcoming mid-term elections, it must be noted that Democrats don't just bribe folks, especially black folks, they expect them to stay on their welfare plantation, unquestioningly, forever. If a black person dares to wander off, they are immediately set upon. The Democrats employ the equivalent of electronic fencing around the smallish perimeter of the plantation. Dare to cross, and the alarms go off. Because Democrats don't tolerate independent thinking, they demand obedience and obsequiousness. This should be anathema in a sane world. Yet, should a person of color (POC) somehow permanently escape their plantation, it calls the Democrats’ virtue signaling into question, thereby driving them mad. (Short drive, indeed.) So, you see, from the physical plantations of the 1800s to the mental and spiritual ones of today, Democrats haven't changed that much in terms of their racism. They just try to pass it off as caring and empathy. And they have largely succeeded. Remarkable.

As in the past, knowledge, independence, and courage can lead the way to an Underground Railroad of sorts, this one figurative…and freedom of the mind, spirit, and body for today’s blacks. So, my heartfelt message to them is to leave the plantation…and take a train to freedom and dignity. Perhaps prosperity will follow. It is high time to walk away from an old obedience that has never done you anything but harm.

And rest assured, those in the Party of Lincoln will welcome you with open arms. And no shackles.

 

Catholic Parents Have Their Daughter Taken From Them By The State Of Massachusetts

 

“We’re from the government and we’re here to help.” The nine most terrifying words in the English language, as Ronald Reagan once stated.

To what do I refer?

Per Life Site News: “A devout Catholic family in Massachusetts had their 15-year-old daughter taken away from them after they refused to refer to her with male pronouns while her school was secretly socially transitioning her behind the parents’ backs.

Joseph and Arlene Kutzko haven’t been allowed to see their daughter, Sophie, in nearly two years. Since then, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) has housed her in a boys’ dormitory, put her on birth control pills and antipsychotic medications.” 

Dear God.

It is hard for me to fathom the words “had their 15-year-old daughter taken away from them…” Was this in Stalinist Russia, North Korea, China, Iran? The Third Reich? No, Massachusetts. Apparently, there is no longer as much difference between these entities as one would think. So, the state “took” the daughter from her parents because they refused to participate in a pernicious lie? And tried to “transition” her behind her parent’s backs? The state hasn’t “allowed” the parents to see their own child in two years? And has placed her in a boys’ dormitory and given her antipsychotic medications and birth control pills. Who the hell approved these actions? Does “The State” now trump parents? And do real, actual boys need birth control pills? For what other purposes does “The State” have the “right” to confiscate parents’ offspring? To force them into a certain approved political party or religion? To make them believe the Earth is flat? Can anyone else see how heinously dangerous and evil this is?

When I was young, my father took me to see our baseball team on “opening day” on several occasions. The “home openers.” These games, early in the season, were always played in the afternoon. One year, when I was in eighth grade and in junior high, he needed to take me out of school after lunch to attend the game. School officials frowned on this and were not going to grant permission for me to leave. During the 5 minutes we had between classes, I darted across the street to a convenience store and called my dad. I told him of my school’s reluctance. He said, “no problem, son, I’ll come right over and speak to them.” About 30 minutes later, I was called into the principle’s office over the intercom. The powers that be informed me that it would, in fact, be perfectly okay for me to go to the game with my dad…who was standing far off to the side. The powers that be, my advisor and the principal among them, looked shaken and ashen as they proceeded to extol the virtues of father-son outings and spring baseball.

Moral of the story? Screw the government. My dad was there to help me…confront the government.

Any-- and every-- society that allows government to have the ultimate power over parents and families is a society that is morally bankrupt and ultimately doomed to failure.

In Defense Of Profit

 

Fact: we’d still be stuck back in the Dark Ages if it wasn’t for the profit motive. Why spend all your time, effort, and money/resources to invent something if there isn’t a chance of a big pay-off? It would make no sense. The cons would far outnumber any pros. Work-reward and risk-reward analyses would clearly show the trouble would not be worth it.

And we would still be defecating in outhouses because Mr. Crapper wouldn’t have invented the flush toilet. There would be no internet, smart phone, automobile, airplane, or gas grill. Dentistry would involve a couple shots of whiskey and…a lot of blood. Why struggle to come up with a better way, better widget, or to give superior customer service, if there is no reward for doing so-- and, in fact, an overwhelming likelihood of failure?

Socialists/Marxists/Communists simply misunderstand or deliberately reject human nature. All of history has proved this so. Young people are no longer taught factual history. AWFULs don’t care or reject it anyway, seduced by the lack of meaning in their lives and their consequent desperate need to feel virtuous or superior in some way.

Communism has never “worked,” except to kill off millions of people. More than 100 million souls in the Twentieth Century alone. That this may or may not have been the original intention matters not. Ask the families of those who perished.

The West, in history’s single greatest and most painful irony, became so wealthy because of Capitalism, free markets, and the profit motive, that the vast majority of its citizens no longer had to worry about staying alive or even working particularly long or hard… and became entitled rather than grateful. If the remote doesn’t work and we have to get up off the couch to change the channel on our big-screen televisions, it is a crisis. We have become soft, lazy, and infected with a perverse form of empathy, an empathy we shower not on those who deserve it, but on the most indigent, law-breaking, immoral, and violent.

There is yet another layer to lazy and indigent, as exhibited by those countries that have benefitted from the absolute protection of America to the extent they created cradle-to-grave welfare states instead of seeing to their own defense. That several of these nations mock or even appear to disdain America today is proof of their moral rot. As with all long-term welfare recipients, they have surrendered their dignity and autonomy, along with their work ethic—whether they know it or not. My heart hurts when I observe the stage four sickness of the soul that has enveloped Germany and England, once strong, proud nations that are mere pathetic shells of what they once were. And it pains me to no end when I see the same thing occurring in the erstwhile Land of the Free.

The best thing that could happen to the budding Socialists in the U.S., especially the young ones, is to spend a week at a time abroad in various other countries. Put a blue-haired, nose-pierced, Fidel Castro-loving college kid in Lebanon for a week. And then Niger, Syria, Afghanistan, North Korea, Chad, and Eritrea. And perhaps Venezuela. See if that whining snowflake comes back to the U.S. after a couple of months and continues badmouthing his homeland.

Progressivism…isn’t. It is regression towards chaos and immorality.  Communism isn’t a cure, it’s a disease. A fatal one. 100% of the time. And, like all diseases, it is more likely to be overcome if caught and treated early. Do we have the will to do this? Or will we keep our collective heads in the sand because it is easier to do just that?

As the great G.K. Chesterton said, “A civilization is not destroyed by wicked men; it is destroyed by weak men who cannot defend what is good.”

It is up to us in the West to decide. Do we save our nations, the most successful on Earth…or condemn them to the trash bin of history?
