On a recent episode of
“The View,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg apparently wondered why the North
Atlantic Treaty Organization has not intervened to save America from Donald Trump,
the duly elected President of the United States.
Goldberg stated, “Let
me just say this, here’s my question! Where is everybody?! Where is everybody
else?! We come to everybody’s aid.” She added of the alleged Trump menace, “We
help everybody. NATO,
they came and helped us after 9/11. Where is everybody?”
Coming further unglued, she bellowed:
“Where is the government?! Do you realize we don’t have a government?!” And she
then opined that this “should be our biggest bitch right now.”
We don’t have a government? That’s
not true! Weren’t you guys just super upset at Trump’s actions, so much so that
many of you went around with childish signs proclaiming, “NO KINGS?” We might
rightfully note that we have an abundance of bitches at the moment, such as Ilhan
Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Jasmine Crockett, an astounding number of relatively
affluent white women, and Goldberg herself, but one of them isn’t that we have
too small a government.
She was right about one
thing: the United States does help everybody. NATO? We prevented Europe
from being the Kaiser’s bitch with our entry into World War I and from becoming
Hitler’s bitch with our entry into World War II. There are thousands upon
thousands of crosses gracing cemeteries in France and elsewhere bearing the
names of American soldiers that attest to that fact.
What was Whoopi implying?
That Denmark or Turkey should have a crack at capturing Trump and putting him
on trial? Or that, say, Albania, Portugal, or Canada should attack the U.S. and
rid it of its duly elected leader? Would such an action be an attempt at
“freeing” the likes of the ultra-wealthy Whoopi Goldberg, or an act of pathetic
virtue signaling the desire to go back to the bad Old World Order, where the planet
was run by the likes of Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan, Adolf Hitler, Joseph
Stalin, and Pol Pot? The aforementioned ruthless dictators deliberately slaughtered
hundreds of millions of innocent people, whereas Bad Orange Man hasn’t been
responsible for deliberately killing a single innocent soul. (Unlike, say,
Hillary Clinton.)
Where is everybody else,
meaning all other nations? Buehler? Buehler? Anyone? I’ll tell you where
they are: dealing with their own problems. Most of which, at least in Western
European nations, stem from an utterly unsustainable influx of immigrants with
views antithetical to the majority of those in the nations they have chosen to invade.
The U.S. defeated Britain
twice…and then subsequently saved it-- and Europe—twice. Three times, so far,
if you count the Cold War that Reagan won without firing a shot. And many
Europeans mocked him.
The United States doesn’t
need the other NATO countries to come to its aid-- or to attack it. They are
simply incapable of effectively doing the latter. And not much better at doing
the former.
No, we will keep dealing
with murderous fanatical dictators while Europe continues its long, mythical
wet dream. We will continue trying to show it how to save itself, even as it
keeps importing ever more Muslims.
Many European leaders take
every opportunity to attack President Trump in specific and the U.S. in
general. I would caution them that they are engaged in the most existential war
they have ever faced…even if most of them don’t yet know it.
It would behoove them to
remember that when the U.S. conquered Germany and Japan, we gave those
countries back to their citizens within a few years, after spending billions of
dollars to help them become viable again.
Today we have captured
Maduro, a murderous narco-terrorist thug, and are attempting to aid the people
in Mexico, Cuba, and Iran, by helping to bring them out from under the thumb of
cartel, Marxist, and Mullah tyranny…and into the broad, sunlit uplands of a
free and prosperous society. We are also trying to prevent the Russians and
Chinese from having a death grip on vital arctic lanes and resources.
So, do you really want to
possibly take up arms against us, as Whoopi suggested may be the case? I hope
not, for your sake and ours. We have to deal with the likes of Ilhan Omar, AOC,
Adam Schiff…and Whoopi Goldberg. And you have to quickly recognize the
existential danger that threatens your existence today.
Or else, soon will come a
day in which America will have to fend off Marxism, Wokeism, Communism, radical
Islam, and insane suicidal empathy at the same time. And decide whether or not
to expend precious American treasure to save Europe for the
fourth time.
