Okay,
so maybe I was a little late picking a “Person of the Year” for 2025, but it is
always such a subjective matter, rather than an objective one. There are more
than 8 billion of us on the planet today, so narrowing it down to one is not
always easy. This year was no exception.
There
were great folks who achieved extraordinary accomplishments, such as Charlie
Kirk, Elon Musk, or President Trump.
On
the other hand, Charlie Kirk was assassinated, President Trump lives with
constant threats, and Elon Musk had his cars keyed. Many took to social media
to celebrate Kirk’s death. Could Satan be a “Person of the Year”
contender, in a, well, Satanic way?
Moreover,
it seemed like the more disgusting and hate-filled a candidate, the more likely
they were to get elected. Look no further than Virginia Democrat Jay
Jones, who is now the state’s attorney general, even though texts
surfaced prior to the election in which he wished for the death of his
political opponent, Todd Gilbert…and fantasized about Gilbert’s children
dying, as well.
Then
there is the burgeoning—and almost unbelievable-- Somali
fraud scandal, in which untold billions of American
citizens’ tax dollars have been handed over to fraudulent Somali shell
companies. Hell, it seems like nearly every NGO, charitable organization, and government
program is riddled with fraud. In truth, it seems like most governments
are entirely corrupt and fraudulent, the bigger the more so. Could/should
Beelzubub get the “honor?” I know it’s a stretch to call the Antichrist a
person, but many of us refer to Rashida Tlaib, Adam Schiff, and Tim Walz as “persons,”
so…
But,
no. My Person of the Year for 2025 is one we hear so much about, but that I
have never encountered. Leftist politicians and their media sycophants rant and
rave about them, implying that they may be a majority, but their existence is apocryphal
at best, as far as I can tell. I am talking about the “Islamophobe.” Muslims
are everywhere where I live, yet everyone I know smiles and says “hi” when they
pass by one in the hall or on the street. People cater to them and are, in
fact, loathe to criticize their behavior or even report fraudulent activity
involving them for fear of being called “racist.” Which has led to the
staggering and poorly disguised fraud being uncovered in Minnesota. And Ohio.
And Maine. And…well you get the picture.
It
does not make one an “Islamophobe” if one gets upset at 9/11 or a mass shooting
in which the perpetrator shouted “Allahu Akhbar!” Or many such shootings. It
just shows one isn’t a heartless monster.
I
have encountered many anti-Semites in the U.S., some quite open about it, but
no true “Islamophobes.”
Therefore,
if there is one, that person is astonishingly gifted at concealing his or her
whereabouts. So, congratulations “Islamophobe,” you are my Person of the Year.”
