No one can honestly say 2025 was
boring. Or unimportant. However, nor was it filled with sanity.
For example, Zohran Mamdani, a Marxist
Muslim, was elected Mayor of New York City. You know, the financial capital of
the world, whose tallest buildings were brought down by Muslim terrorists just
a few short years ago. Never forget, right?
Predictably, we are already seeing the
inherent hypocrisy in Marxist leaders and policies, and he hasn’t
even taken office yet. Moreover, Mamdani recently appointed someone who has no firefighting experience as the head of the Fire Department of
New York (FDNY). The FDNY’s new commissioner is, however, a lesbian, and
that appears to be all the “qualification” one needs to become Chief of Police,
Fire Department Commissioner, or Mayor of a major city these days.
Meanwhile, in Minnesota, Somali-gate just keeps getting
worse, though the mainstream media outlets, local and national, seem oddly
uninterested in the burgeoning scandals. Fortunately, independent videographer Nick
Shirley recently
shined the light on one. Shirley recorded footage of the Quality Learning
Center, licensed to care for up to 99 children, but suspiciously completely
devoid of kids at the time of his visit. When Shirley and an assistant
approached the building’s entrance, a woman yelled to others inside, "Don't
open up. It's ICE!” Probably not what one would scream if there was nothing to
hide. Even more pathetically, a large sign adorning the façade of the “daycare
center” read: “Quality Learing Center.” The center has allegedly received $4 million
in state funds, yet cannot even correctly spell “learning” on its own sign. This
place is obviously not just any old learing center. This place provides quality
edumacation!
Speaking of education, per a recent online video, two
female Somali school board members in Portland, Maine, recently declined
to recite the Pledge of Allegiance-- after which another (white) woman can be
heard acknowledging that the school sits on land stolen from members of the
Wabanaki Confederacy. As if that wasn’t enough wokeness for one meeting, she
then proceeds, incredibly, to state: “Equity
is achieved in the Portland Public Schools when there are no identifiable
differences in outcomes and experiences for any population,” at which point the
video ends.
The shunning of the Pledge and recitation of the Land
Acknowledgement were bad enough, but the assertion that the school district’s
goal is to see that “there are no identifiable differences in outcomes and
experiences for any population,” is mind-boggling and terrifying. Everyone has
different talents, IQs, and interests. Some kids are willing to work harder
than others. Thinking that “no identifiable differences in outcomes” is a good
thing—or even achievable—is far beyond preposterous. Believing that the
district could somehow mandate “no identifiable differences” in “experiences” is
worse. Every individual perceives things differently. Only a society of
cookie-cutter robots subjected to exactly the same controlled environment could
even approach such an outcome. Perhaps that is what too many in our public
education system are striving for.
If folks like those in charge of the Portland Public
Schools have their way, Somalis and tribal confederations will soon be all
that’s left of what was once America.
All that could be said at that point is, “Good luck.”
