U.S. President
Joe Biden recently announced plans to implement a military airdrop of
food and supplies into Gaza.
Say it ain’t so, Joe. Is the United
States aiding both sides in that conflict now?
Here’s what Biden did say: "The loss of life is heartbreaking.
People are so desperate that innocent people got caught in a terrible war
unable to feed their families, and you saw the response when they tried to get
aid in. And we need to do more in the United States, will do more. In the
coming days, we’re going to join with our friends in Jordan and others in
providing airdrops." Unfortunately, in classic Biden fashion, he said “Ukraine”
when he meant to say “Gaza.”
Even
more unfortunately, the food and supplies, like virtually all aid purportedly
intended for the “innocent people” in Gaza, monetary or otherwise, will end up
in the hands—and stomachs—of Hamas terrorists. Oh, and there are surpassingly
few “innocent people” in Gaza in any case.
Talk about moral confusion! This would be as if the U.S. had
dropped food and supplies into East Berlin in the 1950s!
In reality, this aid is less about
helping supposedly innocent people in Gaza, and more about helping Biden curry
favor with Muslim voters in Michigan.
Nauseating.
