Like many big cities run by
Democrats, Chicago’s crime rates have skyrocketed in recent years. The Windy
City’s spiraling crime rates include a shocking increase in the number of catalytic converter and vehicular
thefts.
But not to worry, Chi-town
denizens, your city’s new (anti-cop) mayor, Brandon Johnson, has decided to
finally do something about this disturbing trend. Johnson is filing a lawsuit
against Kia and Hyundai, claiming that their cars are simply—and apparently
illegally-- too easy to steal.
That’s right, give the
thieves a pass and go after those that make the vehicles. Makes perfect nonsense
in today’s senseless world.
Perhaps Mayor Johnson would
also like to sue silverware
manufacturers by claiming that they are responsible for people being obese. Or
pencil and pen manufacturers for their role in misspelled words and ransom
notes.
Come to think of it, why not sue food producers for
the nearly global obesity epidemic?
In fact, let’s sue the living hell out of any
company or entity that produces the products or food that makes our lives easier…or
possible. Makes sense, no? Logical? The right thing to do?
Sue the doers. Sue the makers.
And while we’re at it, let’s find a way to punish those
who tell the truth.
My bad, I guess we already have.
And it’s the crime of the century.
