According to San Diego County Supervisor
Jim Desmond, the San Diego County Board of Education will be sending teachers
for the in-person instruction of illegal alien migrant children at the city’s convention center. You
read that right, the illegal immigrant youth will be granted in-person
teaching while many of the county’s schools that serve tax-paying residents
remain closed due largely to teachers’ coronavirus concerns.
Understandably, this has not gone over
well with San Diego parents who have been
fighting in court to get their own kids back in school. Many of them have been
outraged to learn that kids who just came over the border—illegally
at that-- are getting in-person instruction from some of the very same teacher’s
union members who have said the COVID-19 pandemic has made it too
dangerous for in-person learning. And many of these illegal children haven’t
even been tested for COVID-19!
According to Fox News, the
San Diego County Office of Education says it is “providing the educational program for
the unaccompanied migrant children” because “we have a moral obligation to
ensure a bright future for our children.” Well, not our children, but
their children.
Truthfully, none of this is about anybody’s
children. It is about furthering the interests of adult teachers’ union members…and
the Democratic Party, whose members know the continuing rapid demographic
change assures them of (their) majority rule until the sun expires. Teachers’
unions aren’t generally big on moral obligations, but do believe they have a
moral obligation to ensure a bright future for…teachers’ unions…and the
Democratic Party they have largely bought and paid for.
