California Bakeries Refuse To Make "Trump Cake"

Nine-year-old Dylan “Pickle” Harbin is a big fan of President Trump. Presidential press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders made that clear to all when she publicly read a letter Dylan wrote to the president, in which he offered to mow the White House lawn. After Huckabee shared the boy’s letter with the media, the Washington Post tracked down- and interviewed- his family.
The paper discovered that Pickle’s mom SueAnn tried to get him a “Trump” cake- one that looked similar to a “Make America Great Again” hat- for his ninth birthday, but multiple bakeries in their home state of California refused to make the cake.
Strangely, most of the rest of the mainstream media didn’t deem this worthy of reporting, and there was no outcry whatsoever from progressives on social media or anywhere else. Yet several Christian bakers are still dealing with the repercussions of their refusals to bake cakes for gay weddings, and at least one of them was forced to attend “re-education” training. Chilling.
Logically, this story should put liberals in a pickle. If private citizens who own a small business can be forced to make cakes for gay weddings, regardless of their beliefs, shouldn’t they also have to make them for a youngster who likes his president? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right? Or is that phrase now verboten by the gender gestapo?
Of course, the private business owner should have the right to adhere to his or her religious beliefs. And, since progressivism/leftism appears to be a virtual religion to those who carry its water, perhaps neither the Christian baker nor the anti-Trump baker should be forced to make a cake for someone.
                Wouldn’t that be sweet?
