Stephen King Uses Train Crash For Political Commentary

Recently, a train carrying Republican members of Congress and their families to a retreat collided with a garbage truck, tragically killing one person and injuring several others. This prompted left-wing horror novel author Stephen King to tweet out: “A trainload of Republicans on their way to a pricey retreat hit a garbage truck. My friend Russ calls that Karma.”
After apparently being informed that the driver of the truck died in the accident, and taking some heat for his vile remark, he summoned the decency to characterize his tweet as “rather thoughtless.” You mean as in, “rather dead,” scumbag? Referring to the original tweet again he tweeted, “…for which I apologize (if one is necessary).” If one is necessary?! He also noted that the “Republican politicians, who can be heartless when they vote, immediately got out to help.”
At that point, he’s opining that Republicans can be heartless??!!
Mr. King wrote the book On Writing. Literally. It’s hard to believe he’d use others’ Misery as an opportunity to compose snarky political commentary. Maybe it was just The Dark Half of his personality coming out.
I saw screen shots of both tweets. His original “karma” tweet had 22,472 likes, almost twice as many as his fake “apology.”
                That is truly horrifying.
