Red Wave Flattens, Blue Wave Coming

 

So there was no red wave.

Despite runaway inflation, a looming recession, supply chain shortages, a cratering stock market, lock downs, vaccine mandates, surging crime, the indoctrination—and sexual grooming—of our children, open borders and the resultant surge in fentanyl deaths and the sex trafficking of minors, looming energy shortages, the balkanization of our nation by Democrats’ obsession with identity politics and intersectionality, Democrats embrace of the Great reset and globalism, and progressives’ never-ending push for evermore woke madness, voters did not punish the Democratic Party in general  in the 2022 midterm elections. In fact, despite truly unprecedented negatives, its worst case scenario is it will lose far fewer seats than is typical in a “normal” midterm election following a new party’s president taking office.

That is truly frightening. There are only three possible reasons for this, none of which are any better than the others. One, Democrats have so corrupted the election process that they can effectively control who wins and loses, at least in races that are reasonably close. Two, roughly half of Americans care more about their “right” to kill their unborn babies and to have the federal government take care of them from cradle to grave (since they were not aborted) than they do about economic disaster, societal splintering, surging crime, and personal freedoms. And, three, some combination of one and two.

Democrats know that the millions of immigrants pouring across our southern border will permanently alter the fabric of the nation—and the electorate. They know that this, combined with the almost total indoctrination of the nation’s youth by the educational system and their resultant fealty to the Democratic Party, means that conservative Republicans will likely never again win an important national election. Those under 30 voted overwhelmingly for Democrats in the 2022 election. Had it not been for this group, there would have been a red wave, or at least a red wavelet. Democrats know time, like almost everything else, is on their side.

This is bad enough. But one thing I haven’t yet seen properly addressed in any mid-term election postmortem is what this means for all of us going forward: the nutty far-left base of the Donkey Party will be energized and emboldened as never before. If you thought the pace of change was breathtakingly rapid in the past few years…you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Wait until you see what they do now. There is already talk amongst progressives that President Biden, who has overseen the most rapid—and radical—transformation of the country in history, is not radical enough for their liking.

John Kerry is saying the strategy to fight climate change should be rolled out ala the COVID-19 vaccines. If this is instituted, all of us will experience severe adverse effects, not just a significant minority.

Those of us that oppose this vast left-wing conspiracy and who would like to see The Swamp drained will be pushed further and further to the side. We will be openly chastised, mocked, shadow-banned, tracked, cancelled—and otherwise dealt with as necessary. You know, so that “our democracy” can be saved. Big Tech has already pledged to punish those who hold political opinions that differ from official, government-approved notions.

I have written of the coming demise of the (formerly) United States on more than one occasion in the past. None of which gave me pleasure. All of which made my stomach churn.

In a previous post for American Thinker I wrote: “Stalin is alleged to have said: ‘It's not the people who vote that count; it's the people who count the votes.’"

Los Angeles Times Op-Ed Says Press Failing Americans By Treating Both Parties Equally

 

History professor Robert S. McElvaine recently wrote an op-ed piece for the Los Angeles Times in which he stated that journalists are "failing Americans" by insisting on treating both political parties equally. Yes, as we know, there is nothing more dangerous to a representative republic than a free and objective press.

McElvaine claimed that the United States is in “the final stages of the most critical election for the survival of the American experiment since 1864," and added that journalists bear responsibility for protecting America’s future from "right-wing" extremists.

He wrote: "America’s future hangs on the defeat of the right-wing extremist authoritarians who have seized the name of Lincoln’s party. If we lose, news corporations and journalists with a misplaced sense of ‘balance,’ ‘neutrality’ and ‘nonpartisanship’ will bear a considerable share of the blame.” Down with balance, neutrality, and nonpartisanship! Screw objectivity! To hell with equal treatment, justice, fairness, equality, and equity when it comes to “journalists’” duty to the people! The people don’t know how to think, so the media must tell them what to think…or democracy is doomed! Mass indoctrination is the last, best hope for democracy!

McElvaine further ostracized reporters for not adequately attacking conservatives for pushing ideas that are "increasingly reminiscent" of Hitler’s rise to power. Um, “professor,” if anyone is implicitly threatening to round their political opponents up and send them to prison or concentration/labor/re-education camps, it’s far left Democrats. In fact, they’ve already done that.

Yet the Nutty Professor soldiered on, saying: "In the final days of this election season, Americans must recognize that the existential struggle we are engaged in now is not just a game. If the enemies of democracy prevail and take control of either house of Congress in the midterms, there will be no ‘wait till next year.’ They would probably refuse to accept the election of a Democratic president in 2024. The game would be over, if not permanently, at least for many years.” Projection! Democrats refused to accept the election of a Republican president in 2000 and in 2016.

Bizarrely, McElvaine’s op-ed appeared very shortly after a study by the Media Research Center found Republicans overwhelmingly received more negative coverage from the press than Democratic candidates did in the months leading up to the midterm elections.

Democrats have spent much of the past few weeks telling us all that democracy will die unless we vote as they tell us to. Oddly, they suddenly now believe there are objective truths. Two of them, in fact. One, that MAGA Republicans are evil. And, two, that the rest of us are too stupid to realize this if the news media’s reports were unbiased.

We get to pick “our truth” when it comes to, say, what sex or gender we claim to be. But not if we believe it’s problematic to allow an experimental mRNA vaccine/gene therapy into our body—or if we believe voting for Republicans is in the best interests of ourselves and our nation. I mean the “my truth” thing can only go so far, right? 

Anybody else see a problem with this? McElvaine’s op-ed is advocating for outright discrimination against one of the two major political parties—including its adherents who comprise nearly half of the electorate—in the interests of democracy!

The vast majority of so-called journalists, like the vast majority of so-called professors, are “failing Americans” by trying to convince them that they give a rat’s ass about democracy…when all they really care about is their own primacy.

 

 

Jeff Bezos To Purchase The Washington Commanders?

 

The National Football League’s Washington Commanders recently announced that owners Daniel and Tanya Snyder are considering selling the team, which immediately generated widespread speculation about a potential buyer. According to a person familiar with the situation, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, one prominent name was confirmed as having interest: Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Rumor has it that music mogul Jay-Z could be an investor in Bezos’ bid, as well.

Or so reported the Washington Post, a paper owned by Bezos, while also noting that the “potential sale of the franchise is in its early stages.”

Billionaires own almost all major league sports teams, naturally, so why not Bezos? If he does end up with ownership of the team, what changes would he make? If his time at the helm of the Post is any guide, he would remold the organization into the wokest and most left-leaning in all of sport.

The squad has already been renamed from the Redskins to the Commanders. Might Bezos change the team’s moniker again…from the Commanders to, say, the Comrades? The Authoritarians? Or perhaps, simply, the Marxists?

And I’d bet we’d see new “message” stickers on the players’ helmets. In addition to the vital league-sanctioned sayings, “End Racism,” “Stop Hate,” “It Takes All Of Us,” “Black Lives Matter,” “Inspire Change,” and “Say Their Stories,” I would expect to see, “End Capitalism,” “Stop Ableism,” “It Takes A Village,” “Abortion Matters,” “Inspire D.E.I.,” “Say Gay Stories,” and “Republicans Suck.”

The Washington Post’s trite motto is “Democracy Dies in Darkness.”

Let’s hope the Comrades don’t play any night games.

 

 

 

 

MSNBC Fires Tiffany Cross...Finally

 

MSNBC’s Tiffany (“Really”) Cross was finally shown the door recently due to the frequent inflammatory and hate-filled comments she has uttered on-air over the past several months.

The Pajama Boys at Mediaite (to steal a phrase from Mark Steyn) recently reported that “a source” told them that “comments and coverage from Cross did not adhere to MSNBC’s standards.” The source added that the network had repeatedly informed Cross that this was the case, to no avail.

Cross’s commentary was nearly always outrageous. For example, she routinely savaged white people, and has repeatedly declared that another American Civil War has already begun. Then, on Thursday, November 3^rd,  in an interview with “Charlamagne tha God,” she called the state of Florida “the dick of the country.” (Maybe that’s why so many women have moved there.)

But seriously, Cross didn’t meet MSNBC standards? Talk about a low bar! That’s like saying someone’s fitness and/or sartorial standards did not meet Michael Moore’s lofty expectations.

Cross, who issues vile statements like Visa issues credit cards, has finally been issued a pink-slip.

Thank God. Not “Charlamagne tha God,” aka Lenard Larry McKelvey, but the Real One.

Dead Guy Wins Pennsylvania Race And "Our Democracy" Is Saved

 

A Pennsylvania state representative who died last month was reelected November 8^th despite that fact. You can probably guess the representative’s party affiliation. Yes, Democrat Anthony “Tony” DeLuca, who passed away October 9^th, won in a landslide, garnering over 85% of the vote. (At the time of DeLuca’s death, it was too late for officials to change the election ballots, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.)

 

DeLuca, Pennsylvania's longest-serving state rep, easily defeated Green Party challenger Queonia “Zarah” Livingston, who is alive. (Livingston is a far-left extremist who ran on a platform including "environmental justice," and "ending the war on drugs.”)

This is the same state that elected John Fetterman, a man who lived with/off of his parents until he was 50 and who has been afflicted with severe cognitive difficulties after suffering a stroke early in his campaign.

What does this say about Pennsylvanians? And what Democrat couldn’t win in the Quaker State? Benjamin Franklin must be rolling in his grave. Which, come to think of it, would not disqualify the former resident from winning an upcoming election there if he ran as a Democrat.

If the state were to tweak another election law or two, DeLuca and/or Franklin could serve in perpetuity!

Maybe DeLuca identifies as living—or at least “non-dead.” Maybe, like gender, existence should be considered non-binary. One could be alive, dead, something in between (that could explain Joe Biden), both, neither, or one of an infinite number of other identities.

I don’t know if DeLuca and Fetterman winning is an all-out refutation of ableism-- or an amazing example of it. In any case, it is arguably the most remarkable feat the Democrats have yet pulled off in this election cycle, and that is saying something.

DeLuca and Fetterman join a long list of old and/or cognitively impaired Democrats, including—but not limited to—Maxine Waters, Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Jerry Nadler, and the Big Guy himself, Joe Biden.

DeLuca’s triumph was a bit unusual in the sense that, historically we have seen dead people vote for living Democratic candidates, whereas, in this case, the candidate was deceased. Perhaps in the future we’ll have dead people voting for dead candidates. Maybe the votes will even be counted by those no longer with us. Now that’s “democracy!”

 

 

 

Biological Man Wins New Hampshire Women's Beauty Pageant

 

A very large trans “woman” recently won a beauty contest in New Hampshire. A 19-year-old biological male named Brian Nguyen prevailed in the “Miss Greater Derry 2023 Pageant,” a contest staged by the Miss America organization. Brian is hefty-- almost literally twice the size of the other competitors-- and isn’t much to look at. But he she won anyway.

The Miss Greater Derry Scholarship Pageant is a preliminary event for the Miss New Hampshire Pageant and, ultimately, the Miss America Pageant. It presents its winner with a crown, title and scholarship.

Females, even beautiful ones, can no longer have-- or win-- their own beauty contests now. Males who purport to identify as females are taking away their crowns, titles, scholarships…and opportunities…just as they have done in sports.

Beauty pageants have largely done away with swimsuit competitions in recent years, so as not to appear “sexist.” Yet, ironically, the way things are going, they might soon institute a jockstrap competition. I’m sure “Brian” would fill one out nicely. (“That’s a huge bitch!”)

What’s next?

I don’t want to know.

 

 

Democrats Are The True "Deniers"

 

Democrats are the true “Deniers,” with a capital “D.” (They are a lot of things that start with a “D” for that matter. Disingenuous, duplicitous, dishonest, deranged, etc., etc.) They challenge any election in which they don’t prevail. They deny the existence of objective truth. They deny the existence of two sexes. And they constantly yammer on…and on…and on…about the demise of “our democracy” that would necessarily transpire if Republicans were to retake the House and Senate on—or after-- November 8^th.

Would a party that believes in democracy force people to allow experimental injections into their bodies? Would a party that believes in democracy censor all opinions with which it disagrees? Would a party that believes in democracy prohibit the questioning of election results? Would a party that believes in the rule of law cheer on the mass looting and burning of its own nation’s cities for months on end? Would a party that believes in equal justice under the law let many-time convicted felons out of jail without bail while continuing to incarcerate its political opponents who strolled through the Capitol Building—AKA the People’s House—per the bidding of Capitol Police and other unidentified “authorities?” Would they go ballistic when one of their own is mocked or attacked while cheering on and laughing when their opponents are similarly mocked, attacked, injured or killed? Would it believe in racial quotas? Would it zealously elevate the interests of fringe minorities over those of traditional majorities? Would it savage nearly everything and every document that birthed the most free, democratic, generous, and diverse nation in the history of the world? Would its leaders take every opportunity to run down their own country while on foreign soil? Would the party leader deliver a vicious, sneering speech attacking half his countrymen as “semi-fascist” from a stage done up to look like something out of Dante's Inferno or Hitler's Third Reich? Would a party that values democracy incessantly mock the truth and label dissenting opinions as “disinformation?”

Democrats deny the obvious: that they colluded to keep Trump from getting elected and to run him out of office when he was. They deny the divine: that unborn babies have the right to life. Yes, many even deny that we have natural rights granted by our Creator, instead purporting to believe government should determine who has what rights.

Democratic operatives deny Republican observers entrance into ballot-counting areas, yet they deny there is anything nefarious going on in those places.

Democrats are not fond of our representative republic and would deny their political opponents equal access to the fruits of democracy.

 Yes, our democracy is potentially on the verge of extermination, but not at the hands of those Democrats would blame. It is not mega-MAGA folks—or even (former) President Trump himself-- that are existential threats to our democracy.

No, our democracy is potentially about to be ritually sacrificed on a funeral pyre so that Democratic-Socialists may stay in power forevermore.

On this Election Day, let’s deny them that opportunity.

 

 

"Disinformation" And "Misinformation" Now Election Crimes Says FBI

 

Project Veritas recently released a document titled “2022 Midterm Elections Social Media Analysis Cheat Sheet.” The document is subtitled “What Are Election Crimes?” and “details what FBI agents should look out for leading up to November 8.”

And what might that be? Ostensibly, things like election interference, election fraud, voter intimidation, and such like. While these things are included, additional “Election Crimes” are, too. Crimes such as posting “Disinformation” and/or “Misinformation” on social media.

The not-intended-for-public-consumption “Election Crimes” document defines “Disinformation” as “false or inaccurate information intended to mislead others,” and adds that “disinformation campaigns on social media are used to deliberately confuse, trick, or upset the public.” “Misinformation” is defined as “false or misleading information spread mistakenly or unintentionally.” Disinformation is virtually all that Democrats and their sycophants in the mainstream media traffic in.

In reality, “Misinformation” is largely spread by low-information individuals who are the victims of “Disinformation” campaigns conducted by Democrats (and global elites). Their entire playbook for the lead-up to the midterm elections is based on “disinformation.” For that matter, most of what the FBI has proffered in the past several years has been disinformation, so it is more than repulsive that they are the arbiters of everyone else’s behavior and integrity.

Today’s Democrats don’t just try to put lipstick on a pig, they tell you it’s a Gazelle. (And demand that you honor its preferred pronouns.) If you have the temerity to question their preposterous assertion, they say you are spewing disinformation.  

As I have previously noted, projection and gaslighting are the twin pillars of today’s Democratic Party. Essentially the party platform.

I don’t purport to have any idea what happened at the Pelosi Compound. Regardless of my distaste for Paul and Nancy, it is disturbing and tragic what happened to Paul. Yet, the regime’s and mainstream media’s reaction to-- and immediate “explanation” for—the incident are almost certainly examples of disinformation. It is hard to believe that a former maker of hemp jewelry and nudist activist who apparently lives in a school bus in Berkeley amidst BLM accoutrement is an extreme MAGA supporter who somehow got past the Pelosi’s extensive security systems undetected in the middle of the night.

But I digress.

To Democrats, “Disinformation” and “Misinformation” are just synonyms for “truth.” And Democrats don’t believe the truth will set them free. They believe it will cost them an election. And that they can’t abide.

There’s not much scarier—and more detrimental to “our democracy”-- than the party in power labeling anything with which it disagrees “Disinformation.” (With a capital ‘D’ yet.) When that point is reached, it isn’t long before those in it start jailing their political opponents…something that the Biden administration has already begun doing.

If Republicans Win In Arizona, "Democracy As We Know It May Not Survive," Says Obama

 

Former (and sort of current) President Barack Obama used a rally in Phoenix Wednesday night to deliver a bat-sh*t crazy remark about America’s system of self-government. The Anointed One asserted that, if the Arizona Republican candidates are successful, “Democracy as we know it may not survive” there. He added, “That’s not an exaggeration. “That is a fact.” Opinions are now facts, as facts are “disinformation” to the wannaba tyrants called Democrats.

Democrats have routinely asserted recently that “our democracy is in danger” if Republicans do well on a national scale in the upcoming mid-term elections. Now they are doing the same at the local level. What will they claim next, “If the Republican candidate wins in West Topeka, our democracy may not survive?”

What bleeping gall! What preposterous preposterousness! Translation: “If the people elect someone I don’t like, it’s curtains for democracy!” Who is so stupendously stupid, or believes many of the rest of us to be, that they would seriously suggest diverse voting is anti-democratic? I mean, what the hell?! Would “democracy” be better served if there was always only one name on the ballot, followed by a ’D?’

I’m tired of these morons incessantly telling us that we need fewer choices and less free will if “our democracy” is to be saved. Yeah, and “arbeit machts frei,” Barry. Now tell us the one about the three bears.

Sadly, many Americans proudly signaled their obedience and willingness to give up their freedoms during the plandemic by wearing masks, social distancing, and getting repeatedly jabbed by experimental non-vaccine “vaccines.” If a majority of voters should cast their ballots for these lying, tyrannical clowns Biden and the Democrats in the upcoming election, they will have sentenced all of us to spend the rest of our lives living in a soft tyranny—or worse.

We will, as Reagan cautioned, “spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

 

The "Big Lie," A Democratic Forte

 

I am sick and tired of Democrats and their lapdogs in the mainstream media incessantly talking about “Trump’s Big Lie.” Never forget, the Twin Pillars of Progressivism are Prevarication and Projection. Their talk of “The Big Lie” is itself “The Big Lie.” Claiming, as is their wont, that the 2020 presidential election was the fairest and most accurate in history should elicit hearty guffaws or projectile vomiting from any sentient being. The assertion is especially ironic coming from a party that contests nearly every election in which they don’t prevail. A historical primer:

In the election of 1876, a series of unusual events lead to Republican Rutherford B. Hayes being declared the victor, despite Democratic Governor Samuel Tilden of New York getting 250,000 more ballots in the popular vote and garnering 19 more electoral votes. What happened? Glad you asked. The Democrats threatened to filibuster in an attempt to block the official vote counting. (Democrats like and utilize the filibuster when it aids them, want to abolish it when it doesn’t.) The issue was finally settled via negotiations at Washington’s Wormley Hotel in February 1877. The Democrats agreed to accept Hayes’ victory, provided that Hayes remove all federal troops from the South, among various other conditions. This “compromise” consolidated Democratic control of the region, virtually ending Reconstruction-- and reversing the gains that African Americans had made during the post-Civil War era. (It’s amazing that Black folks ever forgave the party for this.)

In 2008, Democrat Al Franken, aka Stuart Smalley, was declared the winner over Republican Norm Coleman in the Minnesota Senate race, only after demanding recount after recount, during which supposed “votes” were found in various unlikely places. Including car trunks, and, if memory serves, a vacuum cleaner. (I will never forget watching Coleman’s classy and magnanimous concession speech, delivered nearly half a year after the election. A speech which would never have been delivered by a modern-era Democrat.)

Democrat Stacey Abrams still purports to believe she won the 2018 Georgia Gubernatorial race. Abrams, who lost by more than 50,000 votes, once told Axios that she doesn't want the American people to be in a place "where we cannot legitimately question" and criticize voting systems in order to improve them. Try to “legitimately question” the 2020 presidential election and you will be kicked off social media, labeled a “denier,” otherwise ostracized, cancelled, and labeled in need of psychiatric attention.

Democrats were sure the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections were stolen from them by way of Republican shenanigans. And they spent years telling us all that Trump stole the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton with the aid of those damn Russians. Corruption was rampant, election integrity nonexistent. There was no other way Trump could have beaten Hillary, you see.

Yet, they boldly assert that the 2020 presidential election was accurate almost to the individual bleeping vote. That Biden received precisely 81,283,361 votes, as opposed to the 74,222,960 that Trump received. Democrats will swear on a stack of Bibles Rules for Radicals that Biden received precisely 81,283,361 votes, not 81,283,360, and that Trump got 74,222,960, not 74,222,961 or more. Amazing.

So, despite their past assertions, they still aver the 2020 presidential election was somehow the most secure and accurate, virtually perfect-- beatific even-- election in the history of the planet. For one brief shining moment, everyone…to a person….acted with character, intelligence, competence and unbiased purity (other than those nefarious Republicans, of course) so that the final ballot counts could not have been off by even one single solitary vote, regardless of ubiquitous evidence otherwise.

Even more incredibly, some Democrats now say they are terribly worried that Republicans will steal the 2022 midterm elections. And noted truth-teller Hillary Clinton, who told Biden he should simply refuse to concede if he was beaten in 2020, has flat out assured us that Trump has already figured out how to game the system to win in 2024!

Are they insane? Probably not, but anyone who believes them may be. They know that projection and gaslighting are all they have, so they use them ad nauseum.
