Minneapolis City Council Members Disturbed By Protests On Their Property

Minneapolis City Council member Andrea Jenkins told KSTP-TV that there have been protests outside the homes of several city council members in recent weeks. Protests? Gasp! Now she’s noticed. Council member Lisa Bender even had her home vandalized. Can you imagine?! Bender said she has never witnessed this type of anger directed at the city council in her 16-year tenure at City Hall. She stated, "No, I have not seen any council member be concerned about their own personal safety, or the safety of their families. And I think a lot of council members are feeling that right now."

Note to Bender: so is everyone else in your city. That’s because you and your fellow council members essentially condoned the recent rioting when it was destroying everyone else’s property and lives. And because you voted to defund the police. Twice. What goes around comes around. Right?

Bender wasn’t the only council member aghast at the turn of events. Jenkins whined, "I do not feel as safe in my home as I did just three months ago.” Which is why she—and several other council members—have hired private security, courtesy of the taxpayers whom they are attempting to strip of police protection. Talk about “privilege.”

Jenkins further opined that the stress of COVID-19, the death of George Floyd and debate over whether to defund the Minneapolis Police Department have combined to give rise to a level of vitriol towards government she hasn’t heretofore experienced. She conveniently forgot to mention the part that the government’s response to these crises has played in citizen’s disgust with the ruling class.

Jenkins also bemoaned her workplace’s lack of insulation from the mob, saying: "Minneapolis City Hall is one of the only governmental buildings in downtown Minneapolis that does not have a security protocol. I mean, anyone can walk into our building at any time." Egads! The proletariat can enter the hallowed halls of government! She noted she’d like to see the edifice’s security beefed up. But surely not with the police that she is so bent on defunding and disbanding! Perhaps with an intimidating gaggle of social workers? A German Shepherd or two? A “Protected by ADT Security” sticker on a couple of windows? Maybe hang a “Gadsden Flag” on the front door?

The “woe is me” whining from our “public servants” in the rare instances when their own actions adversely affect them is nauseating to say the least, even if darkly humorous.

Hasbro Doll Gasps And Giggles When Privates Touched

            “Ooh. Gasp. Tee-hee!”

So says a new Trolls doll from Hasbro when you push her button. Literally and figuratively, apparently. The long-time toymaker has already agreed to pull the “Trolls World Tour Giggle and Sing Poppy” doll from retailers’ shelves after a petition demanding it do just that amassed the signatures of almost 330,000 outraged parents. The doll allegedly “gasps and giggles” when a button located on its “private area” is pushed. One Utah mother made an online video demonstrating the sounds the doll makes when her button is pushed, characterizing them as “disturbing” and “sexual.”

The petition reads in part: “Our society is conditioning our children to think pedophilia is ok. This Trolls World Tour doll named Poppy has a button on her private area under her skirt. When you push this button on the doll’s privates, she gasps and giggles.” One question: how did all these parents discover what the doll does when her dress is pulled up and her “button” is activated? Just sayin’.

Hasbro says there was no ill-intent involving the existence or placement of the doll’s button. Julie Duffy, Hasbro’s Senior Vice-President of Global Communications, told the Providence Journal, “This feature was designed to react when the doll was seated, but we recognize the placement of the sensor may be perceived as inappropriate.”

Coincidentally, Hassis, another toy manufacturer specializing in dolls for kids, recently introduced a male “Poppy Sings” doll, which sports a fleshy protuberance extending from its groin area. When the protrusion is fondled, Poppy groans and says, “Oh, yeah, just like that, baby! God, yes!” The company says that this, too, was completely inadvertent and innocuous. A company spokesperson stated, “Poppy was designed to say that only when a user patted his stomach area. His response was simply meant to indicate his pleasure at a good meal recently consumed. There was—and is-- no sexual meaning or connotation to his utterances whatsoever. I swear.”

But white European males (scattered “boos” from those in attendance) wanted to colonize this land so they could get started building their Christian Capitalist Kingdom while enslaving or marginalizing indigenous peoples… and everyone else in the world. So tonight, we are going to raise money, hopefully a lot of money, to be given to lobbyists who will advocate for returning all federally-held land in this nation to the Native Americans…the real Americans…the rightful owners of this land. Media Lying, Deranged

              Anyone who has been in a coma for the past few years and still doesn’t believe mainstream media outlets are blatantly, wildly biased against President Trump, need only pay attention to the past few weeks coverage of the coronavirus pandemic vis-à-vis large gatherings of people. When some law-abiding citizens peacefully protested the months-long lock-down orders in a few states, the media dragged out legions of so called “experts” from whatever dark, dank and damp places in which they normally reside to solemnly swear that these crazy rebels, “domestic terrorists” really, were going to be responsible for the deaths of untold thousands of innocents. They were labeled “selfish,” “petulant,” and flat-out “dangerous” to boot.

              However, when teeming masses of protesters and rioters took to the streets of America’s cities to break anything they didn’t steal-- and burn down buildings with the utmost impunity—these same media outlets never said a word about the potential spread of the coronavirus. In fact, they were rife with “experts” literally telling us that the wanton destruction of our cities by writhing swarms of thugs was a public health benefit, all things considered, and that we’d be racist to criticize them. No better than the vile lock-down protesters, actually. Take that!

             And then Trump announced he was going to restart his rallies.

 The very same media buffoons who had nothing but praise for dense throngs of rioters in the streets, looting and burning down private property, then said that the Trump rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was “dangerous” and “reckless.” Sound familiar? Those who wished to attend the rally must be monsters, they said. Yet they wouldn’t even dare to call the thugs, thieves and arsonists pillaging America’s cities-- and assaulting anyone who stands in their way-- “somewhat inconsiderate.” They are deranged.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is real. Demonstrably more so than anything with which the mainstream media tries to indoctrinate us. The media moron’s preposterous pivots and rank hypocrisy would be funny if not so damaging to the last, best hope of Earth. A free society truly needs a free and unbiased press/media. Unfortunately, we don’t have one. Historically, it is often the case that a tyrant, a despot, will take over the media as part of a broader plan of controlling a nation. In the case of the United States—and possibly a few other Western nations—the mainstream media is taking on the role of the tyrant, the despot. It is deliberately misleading, lying to, and brainwashing those whom it is supposed to serve. It cares nothing about them or the nation they inhabit. It feeds off kudos from its own. It exists solely for its own sake, its own power. It lauds itself as it attacks anyone daring to disagree with its agenda.

To its never-ending shame, it holds power, but will never speak truth to itself. Or anyone else.

Professor Vows To Get Those With Whom She Disagrees Fired

              April Mustian, an incoming professor at Winthrop University who previously indoctrinated kids at Illinois State University, recently threatened to report to administrators any white K-12 teachers who dare to put up social media posts that she personally deems “pro-police anti-black rhetoric.” On April (coincidence?) 26^th, she posted on Facebook that she would take screenshots of any such comments and use them to get educators with whom she disagrees fired, according to the Young America’s Foundation.  

              This is quite Stasi-esque, a fact of which the learned scholar is apparently unaware. Colleges and universities were instituted to expose students and faculty to different points of view and engage them in vigorous debate, the better to arrive at the truth…or at least a better understanding of opposing viewpoints and their genesis. But debate is gone now, true science out the window. Teaching young folks how to think is so yesterday. Teaching them what to think is far more beneficial to your cause if you are of a leftist bent. (And all leftists are bent.) Liberal good. Conservative bad. Government good. Business bad. Globalization good. Nationalism bad. All other countries good. America bad. LGBTQIIA+ good. Traditional mores bad. Atheists, Agnostics, Muslims good. Christians bad. Black man good. Orange man bad.

 And all of these bad people and things must be silenced, cancelled, fired, or killed.

 In the name of tolerance, equity and inclusion.

Anthem Kneelers Now Celebrated

              Just a couple of years ago, most Americans viewed those who knelt during the national anthem with contempt. A majority of Americans believed that athletes who knelt during the anthem were being disrespectful of the flag, their nation, and the hundreds of thousands who gave the last full measure of devotion defending the country and its banner.

              That was so yesterday.

              A new CBS poll claims to show that a majority of Americans now believe that anthem-kneeling is an entirely acceptable form of protesting racial and other discrimination. A far greater percentage of young people approve of kneeling during the Star-Spangled Banner than do older folks. People’s of color are more likely to approve of this type of protest than their white brethren. By far the biggest divide, however, is found between white Democrats and white Republicans. Roughly 80% of Caucasian Democrats are totally fine with anthem kneelers, whereas roughly the same percentage of white Republicans are not.

              But, as the recent CBS poll shows, people’s opinions can—and do-- change very quickly, especially as regards cultural norms. I have no doubt that, by 2023 at the latest, Americans will be perfectly okay with professional athletes mooning television cameras while the anthem is being played. By 2025, players who are true social justice warriors will feel free to masturbate or take a big, fat dump on the field or court whilst the national anthem is played and the flag formerly known as “Old Glory” waves. In this way, players will express their “resistance” to the social and sexual norms heretofore ruthlessly perpetuated by the white hetero patriarchy…while bravely exposing themselves—and exposing America as the steaming pile of crap that they purport to believe it is.

              (Unless, of course, the national anthem and the Stars and Stripes have been replaced by the song “Imagine” and the LGBTQIIA+ flag by then, respectively.)

Dr. Fauci Now Urges People To Wear Goggles

Dr. Anthony Fauci, who recently violated Washington, D.C.’s, mask mandate by going mask-less during the Nationals’ season opener, has now suggested that Americans wear goggles or face shields for extra protection against COVID-19. Fauci did wear a mask while making the ceremonial first pitch, which fell far short (and about 45 degrees to the left) of its target. However, when he assumed the camera wasn’t on him, his wife and his friend as they sat in the stands during the game, he either wore the mask incorrectly or eschewed it altogether.

The esteemed health expert—and  septuagenarian sex symbol-- told ABC News Chief* Medical Correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton: “You have mucosa in the nose, mucosa in the mouth, but you also have mucosa in the eye. Theoretically, you should protect all the mucosal surfaces. So, if you have goggles or an eye shield you should use it.”

Dr. Fauci emphasized, “Gloves, earplugs, nose-plugs, condoms, hijabs, yarmulkes, dental dams, full hazmat suits, giant inflatable bubble balls…everything you have available, really, should be employed to keep you from coming in contact with the disease.”

He added, “I’d also like to see everyone wear humorous cummerbunds, stand on one leg, and continuously recite ‘Fauci is the man!’”

Leftist Dogma

Leftists believe there is only one legitimate opinion on the issues, that being theirs, and demonize those who do not share it as intolerant, exclusionary and divisive. They believe there is a Constitutional right to abort one’s “fetus,” but not to free speech, if they deem it “hate speech.”  They believe “the science is settled” when it comes to an unimaginably complex topic such as climate change, but certainly not when it comes to the plainly obvious existence of two sexes. They believe that second-hand cigarette smoke is uniformly deadly, but that the first-hand smoking of marijuana has numerous remarkable health benefits.

They believe religion is the “opiate of the masses,” despite its obvious benefits to people’s mental and spiritual health over the millennia, yet cling to an irrational, fanatical belief that Socialism will somehow make things better for us all, despite its long, sad-- and abundantly clear-- bloody history. They believe forcibly disarming law-abiding citizens will magically result in criminals being less likely to shoot them, not the reverse. They believe that dramatically raising taxes on those who work-- and paying more to those who don’t—will somehow lead to a more just and prosperous society. They believe that doing away with prisons and reducing the number of police will make them safer.

They believe the phrases “All Lives Matter” and “Make America Great Again” are racist dog-whistles (and a form of actual violence), but that statements comparing President Trump to Adolf Hitler are simply accurate analogies. They believe that Antifa members are essentially freedom fighters but that the Founders were naught but colonial occupiers of the worst kind. They believe capitalism is evil and that Cuba and Venezuela deserve credit for trying to equalize incomes and achieving high rates of literacy. They believe the United States is a racist, sexist, bigoted, patriarchal nation but that we have no right to criticize other cultures, despite the prevalence of wife-beating, female genital mutilation or their propensity to kill gays and lesbians.

They hold that sexual deviance is the highest form of righteousness and conscience, but that cis-males who are openly attracted to cis-females are likely “pervs” and are exhibiting “toxic masculinity.” They believe the death penalty—even for mass murderers—is cruel and barbaric, but that abortion is simply “women’s health care.”

To those on the left, the belief that anything—other than morality itself-- could be immoral…is immoral. Morality is a white male patriarchal construct you see. And that is beyond the pale.

Who are we to disagree?

A Time For Reckoning

This past week, House Democrats put forth the first-ever bill to repeal the Helms Amendment, which prevents U.S. taxpayers from being forced to fund abortions overseas. The House Democrats characterized the amendment as, you guessed it, “deeply rooted in racism.” Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) teamed up to introduce the bill, known as the “Abortion is Health Care Everywhere Act of 2020,” the text of which also touts the benefits to transgenders and people with uteruses in general. Schakowsky released a statement saying, “The Helms Amendment is a policy deeply rooted in racism. It imposes our arbitrary and medically unnecessary abortion restrictions on international communities, allowing the United States to control the health care and bodily autonomy of billions of Black and brown people around the world.” That, of course, is a bald-faced lie…in several respects. Abortion restrictions are neither “deeply rooted in racism” nor “arbitrary.” Quite the contrary. The Helms Amendment does not impose abortion restrictions—or anything else—on international communities or “billions” of Black and brown people around the world.  They are free to do as they please. It restricts our efforts to aid and abet the deaths of countless innocent Black and brown people around the world while protecting the consciences of a great many Americans, 75 percent of whom say they oppose using tax dollars to support abortion in other countries. Democrats either don’t care or don’t believe they will be held accountable for their actions.

Also this past week, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D- Calif.) said that China is "growing into a respectable nation" and urged folks to hold the nation blameless for the coronavirus pandemic. Several other prominent Democrats, Joe Biden included, seem to have fondness for—and connections to-- China and its ruling Communist Party. This despite knowing that the nation deliberately covered up the fact that the coronavirus had been unleashed on the world. And that it routinely engages in intellectual-property theft on our soil, is attempting to achieve total dominance in the South China Sea, threatens its neighbors, has violated its agreement with Britain and stolen Hong Kong’s independence while beating up thousands of innocent protesters…and has imprisoned more than a million Muslim Uighurs and thousands of Falun Gong members.

Oh, and has been harvesting their internal organs, too. Hamid Sabi, a lawyer representing the China Tribunal, an independent panel instituted to investigate Chinese organ harvesting, recently told the United Nations Human Rights Council that “Forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience, including the religious minorities of Falun Gong and Uighurs, has been committed for years throughout China on a significant scale.” The Tribunal’s final report on the issue determined that the Chinese government sanctioned the cutting open of victim’s bodies “while still alive for their kidneys, livers, hearts, lungs, cornea and skin to be removed and turned into commodities for sale.” China tacitly admitted to the practice by claiming it ceased using organs from executed prisoners in 2015. Sabi and the Tribunal have urged the U.N. Human Rights Council to investigate the allegations. Unfortunately, the U.N.H.R.C. has been too busy lately denouncing the United States for its tentative attempts to stop rioters from burning down Portland and many other of its major cities to worry about little things like the mass incarceration and organ harvesting of people the Chinese Communist Party deems deplorable.

Liz Throssell, a U.N. human rights spokeswoman, recently stated at a Geneva news briefing, “There have been reports that peaceful protesters have been detained by unidentified police officers and that is a worry because it may place those detained outside the protection of the law and may give rise to arbitrary detention and other human rights violations.” She added, “The authorities should ensure that federal and local security forces deployed are properly and clearly identified and would use force only when necessary, proportionately and in accordance with international standards.”

To Democrats, preventing the needless death of thousands of Black and brown babies with the financial assistance of the United States is racist. And wrong. To Democrats, the NBA, tech giants, and assorted other leftists and “progressives,” the United States is a despicable place of systemic racism. Trump’s tweets are beyond the pale, the Washington Redskins team name so hurtful it must be replaced. But China’s plucking of an organ or two from tens of thousands of people from marginalized groups, while they are still alive…at least for a few more seconds, minutes or hours…is no big deal, no big whoop, no problem. Why so uptight?

There are only two possible “reasons” for Democrats’ positions on these issues: they are mentally ill or truly, unadulteratedly, evil.

This is a time for reckoning. Let’s hope the reckoning occurs this November 3^rd. If it does not, it may be too late.

And a different kind of reckoning may await us all.

Mayor Lightfoot Shuns Mayor Frey

              Chicago Mayor Gordon Lori Lightfoot recently pulled out of a virtual roundtable discussion on the future of American cities when she found out that Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey would be sharing the screen with her. The event was to be hosted by Crain’s Chicago Business, one of the most prestigious business publications in the country. Lightfoot, Frey, and David Axelrod, a Democratic political consultant and former Obama campaign guru, were slated to discuss how COVID-19 and the recent riots will define the future of our nation’s cities. Ironically, it is far-left Democrats such as these who have sentenced the nation’s cities to a dismal, dystopian future, and their ever-dwindling number of inhabitants to a dark and dangerous existence.

              Lightweight Lightfoot lamely attempted to attribute her cancelation to a “scheduling conflict,” though it is abundantly clear she did not wish to share a screen with Frey, who is to mayors as Charlie Brown is to professional athletes. Frey let Minneapolis burn without lifting a finger to save it. He may not even have known it was on fire. During a May 29th press conference specifically to address the rioting, a reporter asked the mayor, “What’s the plan here? What are we doing?” Frey responded, “With regard to?”

              None-the-less, it is remarkable that Mayor Lightfoot, as clueless and feckless as anyone alive, chose to distance herself from Frey. After she forced barbershops and salons to close down due to the coronavirus pandemic, she herself had her hair done. She tried to explain her hypocrisy by stating, “I’m the public face of this city. I’m on national media. I’m out in the public eye.” Translation: “I wanted to get my hair done and I’m far more important than you people.”

              Lightfoot shunning Frey is akin to Hitler not wanting to appear with Stalin-- or Bonnie not wanting to be seen with Clyde.

              Ironic and humorous in one sense. 

              Sad, too.
