A recent Forbes magazine
article cited a study claiming that the majority of U.S. classrooms “teach outdated
ideas about the differences between sex and gender,” in part because
they rely on outdated textbooks that don’t clearly differentiate between the
two…and too clearly differentiate between male and female. The study, published
in the journal Science, says these books promote
gender and sex essentialism, the idea that these categories have
“fundamental or ‘essential’ qualities.” Gasp!
We all
know that males and females have no “fundamental or ‘essential’ qualities,”
right? They are totally interchangeable in every possible way!
It is
now heresy to believe in binary sexual characteristics-- and you will be in big
trouble if you don’t publicly recognize the vast, make that infinite,
variability of genders.
So now educators must teach lies, whether about sex/gender,
climate change, American history, or any number of other subjects, or risk
being excommunicated…or worse.
Ironically, this is reminiscent of Galileo being put on trial
for stating that the Earth and other planets revolve around the sun, not the
other way around. His detractors couldn’t countenance a heliocentric solar
system.
Today’s “progressives” can’t countenance any disagreement
with their agenda…because they believe the Earth—indeed the universe—revolves around
them.
