Florida To Mandate Only U.S., State Flags To Fly Outside Government Buildings

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently endorsed legislation that would ban flags other than the official banners of the United States and the state of Florida from flying outside government buildings in the Peninsula State. The bill, SB 1120, which subsequently stalled in the Senate, would establish that a “governmental entity may not erect or display a flag that represents a political viewpoint, including, but not limited to, a politically partisan, racial, sexual orientation and gender, or political ideology viewpoint. The governmental entity must remain neutral when representing political viewpoints in displaying or erecting a flag.”

Taxpayer-funded government/public buildings should remain politically neutral and not beholden to special interest groups? What a concept! Bravo, Gov. DeSantis! Of course, speaking of special interest groups, some in the “LGBTQ community” believe the bill was targeted at them. But that, of course, is so much BS. It is preposterous that a “Heterosexual,” “Polyamorous,” “Muslim,” “Jewish,” “Mulatto,” “BLM,” “Pro-choice,” “Capricorn,” or “Satanic Temple” flag should fly above any U.S. government building or edifice. Neither should a “Engineers Do It Better,” “Kansas City Chiefs,” or “Cisgender Alcoholics Matter” banner. Period. Even a “Jolly Roger” is not necessary. And we all know what banners bearing Swastikas and a Hammer & Sickle did to humanity.

If the Ten Commandments cannot even be posted in a public square, flags touting certain sexual proclivities and political viewpoints shouldn’t be allowed to fly outside of—or above—government buildings in an ostensibly free republic.

Conservatives know this in their bones, and act accordingly. Leftists don’t care about anything other than what can enhance—and exhibit-- their power. A banner from one of their constituency groups flying proudly above a capitol building perfectly illustrates this. Conservatives still believe in e Pluribus unum-- out of many one. Leftists want to divide so they can conquer.

Of course, leftists project their motives onto their political opponents.

But most of us now know this is just a false flag operation.
