The Partly Civil War

                The Partly Civil War is being fought as we speak. This is an all-out war on the part of one side, and a complete retreat on the part of the other. The Left wages a total, all-fronts war against American cultural and economic traditions, history, and raison d’être, while the right desperately tries to avoid being called names by deploying tolerance, civility and cowardice.

                Christianity is crumbling, Satanism is rising, gay marriage is the law of the land, men who wish to identify as women can use women’s bathrooms and locker rooms (and vice-versa), and it is now a crime to “misgender” someone (i.e. tell the truth). Progressives are pushing for legalized full-term abortion, “after-birth abortion” (i.e. murder), and 90% tax rates for the evil rich. The Ninth and Tenth Amendments have been completely brushed aside, while the First and Second are under sustained assault. Mainstream Americans are being mocked and lied to by the mainstream media. Nearly half of the country’s citizens have been labeled “deplorable”—or worse—by leftist thugs, while non-citizens are being wooed, coddled and praised.  Statues and memorials are rapidly coming down, barriers to thought, debate and discourse are rapidly going up. People are being attacked or refused service because of the hats they wear. The IRS, FBI, DOJ-- and every other federal government department-- is controlled by leftists willing and able to audit, harass or imprison those who stray from strictly politically- correct thinking. They act more like the Stasi, S.S., or KGB than agencies of a government of, for and by the people. Though they have sworn to uphold the Constitution, many of the unelected bureaucrats who comprise these agencies do their best to defile and destroy it.

               And yet Republicans…even conservatives…are afraid to fight. The left is waging a Bold War, the right a Fold War. So, the most radical socialist and LGBTQ+ agenda marches comfortably and inexorably on, while Middle America is ever more marginalized. The silent majority has been truly and permanently silenced.

  Never in the field of human conflict have so many been so afraid of so few.

  Because of the complete abdication of responsibility on the part of elected Republicans, The Snore War will end with devastating, irrevocable consequences…and irredeemable shame on both sides. The results of this one-sided conflict will ruin our descendant’s lives, limiting their prospects for eternity.

  But, what the hell. Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
