New York Politicians Ask Credit Card Companies To Track Firearm, Ammo Purchases

 

Approximately 50 New York lawmakers believe they have found a way to reduce firearm trafficking and mass shootings. These legislators penned a letter to Mastercard and American Express, requesting that the credit card companies flag purchases made at gun stores. (Credit card companies supposedly do not currently track specific items purchased but use merchant category codes [MCCs] designated by retailer type. For example, Mastercard’s quick reference booklet notes that purchases made at a gun store fall under the "miscellaneous" or "durable goods" retailer codes. Those two MCCs also include vendors of gas lighting fixtures, musical instruments, fireworks, party supplies, and luggage, among others.)

The letter drafted to Mastercard and American Express “suggested” that gun retailers be assigned their own merchant category code instead of sharing it with other non-firearm-related vendors. This change would allow credit card companies – and, consequently, government – to closely track firearm and ammunition purchases.

Democratic state Senator Zellnor Myrie publicly stated that he believes the public would agree with the lawmakers' request.

Let’s hope not.

What other purchases will be tracked…and to what end? If one purchases a copy of Guns and Ammo magazine, will it soon be tracked? (If not, why not, if the purchase of actual guns and ammo are?) What if you buy a sharp knife? A stout fork? Mace? Baseball bat?

And why shouldn’t we be flagged—and warned—if we buy too much meat or sugary foods? I mean, the government’s just looking out for us, right? Moreover, we deserve what we get, whatever that may be, if we buy a MAGA hat or a “Let’s Go Brandon” bumper sticker, no? And what if we don’t purchase enough tofu-- or LGBTQ-friendly merchandise? That’s utterly indefensible, as any sane person would admit.

America was founded on a near sacred belief in—and commitment to—limited government (of, by and for the people). Today, many folks don’t appear to believe in anything but big government. They may not admit that, but their actions—and votes—clearly prove that to be the case.

So, we appear destined to be judged by something akin to China’s social credit system, with the “help” of credit card companies.

So, patriots, Christians, the 10 or 12 Republicans with a spine, those with an appreciation of Millenia of accrued wisdom, people who still cling to the belief that there are, essentially, two sexes (and that there is a reason for that), libertarians…and anyone who dislikes being told what to do by incompetent, hypocritical, inveterate totalitarians in sheep’s clothing, it’s time we fight back.

To hell with the leaders of the Northeastern and Left Coast states. The rest of us need to figuratively quarantine them, lock them down, restrain them with border fences. Those of us who don’t wish to be cancelled or crushed by freedom-hating Marxist authoritarians need our own sanctuary states and cities. Why should we have to pay for illegals to enter our country and be granted freedoms and favors that the government would never dream of bequeathing to us?

              Why should plumbers, truckers, electricians, farmers, retail employees, carpenters, etc., etc., be forced to pay for the “education” of youth from wealthy families, especially those who get a degree in Gender Studies at Harvard or Yale and graduate detesting America, her history-- and the rubes in flyover country that were forced to pay for their indoctrination?

What might we, the people, find if we were able to track all the purchases of the 50 or so New York lawmakers who sent the letter to Mastercard and American Express?

 

 

 

U.N. Berates U.S. Over Supreme Court's Dobbs Decision, In Act Of Supreme Chutzpah

 

Recently, the United Nation’s Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination published its findings concerning a number of nations for which it had various condemnations and recommendations. Naturally, the committee reserved its fiercest criticism for the United States, the U.N.'s largest donor.

The committee expressed deep concern regarding the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, insisting that Washington quickly take special measures to protect abortionists-- and a woman’s ability to “terminate” her unborn child at any time for any reason.

The committee is comprised of 18 so-called human rights experts whose mandate is to monitor the implementation of recommendations by the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination (ICERD). The ICERD, created and empowered in the 1960s, currently consists of 88 signatories and 182 parties…from various countries including Turkey, Senegal, the Ivory Coast, Cameroon, and Qatar. All of whom, of course, are recognized bastions of tolerance, freedom, and inclusivity.

In fact, one of the racism experts, Ms. Tlakula Pansy, hails from South Africa, a nation whose Supreme Court just ruled that the singing of the anti-white song "Shoot the Boer" does not, in fact, constitute hate speech. Another expert, Ms. Li Yanduan, is a resident of China-- where the communist regime is still blithely implementing a literal genocide against the Uyghur population in Xinjiang.

The committee’s report on the U.S. alleged that “racial and ethnic minorities are disproportionately impacted by…higher risk of unwanted pregnancies and lack of means to overcome socioeconomic barriers to access safe abortion.” Racial and ethnic minorities are at a disproportionately “higher risk” of “unwanted pregnancies?” Higher risk? That makes it sound as if they have no say in the matter. As if one were talking about the chance of hail damage to one’s roof, for example. As for racial and ethnic minorities supposed difficulty in overcoming “socioeconomic barriers to access safe abortion,” statistics show a far higher percentage of minority babies are aborted than white ones. In fact, though Black Americans comprise just 13.4% of the U.S. population, they accounted for 36.0% of the abortions in 2015, which was almost identical to the percentage of abortions (36.9%) that year among white Americans, who make up 76.6% of the population.

It is repulsive that the U.N. blasts the U.S. for (sort of) allowing states to determine their own abortion laws, while it routinely ignores genocides around the world-- and is itself a bastion of corruption and scandal.

The United States should drastically reduce its funding of the “United Nations,” currently running at well over $11 billion annually. Or seek to have it aborted entirely.

 

 

 

 

Dutch City Bans Ads For Meat

 

Things are getting stranger in Harlem. Well, actually, Haarlem-- a city in the Netherlands. The Dutch city of 160,000 people, located near Amsterdam, has agreed to outlaw ads for intensively farmed meat on public places such as buses, shelters and screens…starting in 2024.

The move was approved by the city council last fall, but a councilor only recently announced that he had officially notified advertising agencies of the ban. Ziggy Klazes, councilor for the GroenLinks (Green-Left) party who drafted the motion, proudly told the Agence France-Presse (AFP): "It will be the first city in the Netherlands -- and in fact Europe and indeed the world -- to ban 'bad' meat ads in public places.”

Ms. Ziggy sniffed to the Trouw newspaper, “Meat is very harmful to the environment. We cannot tell people that there is a climate crisis and encourage them to buy products that are part of it.” She has also stated that it goes against the city’s politics to "earn money by renting the city's public space to products which accelerate global warming.” And no one would wish to go against the city’s politics! Land O’ Goshen!

As of this writing, Haarlem had not yet decided if the ban would include all "cheap meat from intensive farming,” but Klazes added, "as far as I'm concerned that includes ads from fast food chains." So much for having it your way, Burger King. And you can bet McDonald’s is not loving it.

Not surprisingly, the ban has been criticized by the Dutch meat industry and some political parties who see it as a form of censorship and stigmatization of meat eaters. Joey Rademaker, a Haarlem councilor for the conservative BVNL party, simply noted: "Banning ads for political reasons is nearly dictatorial.” Nearly? You think?

Incredibly, Amsterdam (and The Hague) have already banned ads for air travel, gasoline-powered automobiles, and fossil fuels-- and now Haarlem is set to add meat to that list.

What’s next? (I find myself asking that question frequently of late.) Why not ban ads for hospitals? Doesn’t GroenLinks know how much energy hospitals require? Talk about greenhouse gas emissions! Perhaps ads for government should be banned. No entity uses as much energy for so little benefit. Think of all the chauffeured limo rides and trips via airplanes and other conveyances that our entitled leaders and other politicians take, whether on “official duty” or vacation. And that’s in addition to the staggering amount of hot air they spew into the atmosphere. And, of course, ads for corn, wheat, and other produce must be banned. Think of the excessive use of water the raising of crops requires! Grieve over the use of fertilizer. Ponder the deforestation, the fencing of Mother Earth, etc., etc.

Why not ban ads altogether? For that matter, why not ban all human industry and endeavor?

Truth be told, it is God the elites are after. Elites can’t allow the existence of even the concept of any being greater themselves. Conservatives are in their way. Fundamentalist Christians are anathema to them. As are the Judeo-Christian values on which our nation was founded. So, they all must be cancelled.

Ultimately, our elites, leaders, and “experts” would like to ban us, the humans, created in God’s image, that don’t willingly conform to their every wish, desire, edict, and mandate.

And they are well on the way to doing just that, via abortion, birth control, and the disastrous COVID-19 vaccination mandates. (Get a booster every 3 months!) Yes, they are essentially going to ban humans, at least those of us that don’t come from elite stock.

The repulsive beliefs of our modern-day elites, our authoritarian leaders, were perfectly summed up by a chapter title on overpopulation in a book* by the late P.J. O’Rourke: “Just Enough of Me, Way Too Much of You.”

We know the elites won’t abide by their own edicts and mandates. Rather than allowing them to ban ads for the things that sustain us and make our lives better, we should vote them out of office.

And then go out and have a burger.

Student Group Aiming For "Total Animal Liberation" And Refutation Of Human Exceptionalism

 

Surely you’ve heard of SOS, right? Maybe not. The SOS to which I am referring is Students Opposing Speciesism. This SOS is a rapidly growing organization, based in the U.S. and Canada, that aims to bring about “total animal liberation” and opposes the notion of “human supremacy.”

Backed by PETA and run by students aged 13 to 24, Students Opposing Speciesism has seven registered “hubs” on college campuses, including UC Davis, UT Austin, the University of Maryland.

SOS defines speciesism as “the belief that all other animal species are inferior to humans," an idea apparently anathema to the organization of young scholars. SOS believes that “all animals deserve equal respect and consideration.” To wit, their website states: "[I]n the ways that matter the most, [animals and people] are all the same.” Quite. Now tell me the one about the three bears.

In a similar vein, Yale University recently launched the Law, Ethics & Animals Program (LEAP) with the goal of addressing America’s “outdated” and “insufficient” animal rights policies. Doug Kysar, a law professor at the Ivy League school, is one of those heading up the program. According to reports, Yale published Kysar’s assertion that society is in the midst of an important time for animals, due to factors such as revelations in animal intelligence that allegedly “overturn past beliefs about human exceptionalism.”

Is it only unwarranted human hubris that makes us think we are in any way above other species? Is it only for the lack of opposable thumbs that fruit bats didn’t write War and Peace or Atlas Shrugged? If chimpanzees were of a mind to, could they have built Manhattan? And who can say with confidence that a Moose couldn’t have composed a symphony or sonata on par with anything Beethoven produced, or that a deer tick (Ixodes scapularis) is incapable of understanding Einstein’s mass-energy equivalence equation?

White supremacy is bad, though its practitioners are extremely few and far between. (Far more common in recent years, to the point of nearly becoming institutionalized—systemic—is the concept of “all whites are bad and racist,” equally repulsive.)  To say that “human supremacy” is bad is preposterous. To refuse to acknowledge “human exceptionalism” is simply another form of nihilism and a rejection of reality. (Although, I must admit, people such as Eric Swalwell, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Jerry Nadler make me question my beliefs on occasion.)

Leftists are attempting to destroy the notion of American exceptionalism. And they have been quite successful at doing so, thanks to their own policies. They are hard at work overturning the biological fact of two sexes. They are continuing to hold up Socialism/Communism as the economic and moral ideal, despite the fact that all of history proves the opposite. Indeed, they are trying to erase history and discredit and expunge Millenia of accrued wisdom from societies across the globe. Because, though all other humans aren’t exceptional-- or even worth much-- they sure as hell are.

If the idea of human exceptionalism is overturned, what’s next? Is a Border Collie no different than a cockroach? Are plants the equal of, say, elephants or porpoises? Should single-celled organisms like paramecium be afforded the same respect and benefits as, say, Rachel Maddow?

Why are leftists, many of whom worship animals, so insistent on seeing to the destruction of the human race?

It is beyond ironic that most of those who purport to disdain the concept of human exceptionalism are essentially “woke supremacists,” and arrogant as hell.

Drag Queen Steals Woman's Gender, Money

 

A woman who goes by the Tiktok moniker “meggymomma” is claiming that a Las Vegas drag queen stole a wad of cash from her purse during a drag performance at the Treasure Island Casino. The (allegedly) aggrieved lady recently released a video in which she stated she was celebrating her birthday by watching the Drag Brunch show at a place called Señor Frog’s, when a drag queen who goes by the stage name “Shannell” swiped hundreds of dollars from her purse. At first, she thought it was a gag and that she’d get her money back…but she didn’t. She then confronted the performer, whose real name is Bryan Watkins, while still in the venue and demanded her money. Watkins allegedly claimed he only took one dollar-- and called the woman a “white girl” (an insult in the LGBTQ world) and a “Karen.”

“Meggymomma” then complained to management but got nothing but a cold shoulder.

“Shannell” can be seen on a TikTok video helping himself to the woman’s purse… and clearly taking a roll of cash from it. The video went viral, which prompted Voss Events, the company that produces the Drag Brunch show, to offer a settlement. The woman made a follow-up video claiming Voss Events offered to give her $700 on the condition that she take down her original video, as Voss Events (preposterously) claimed it was inciting “violence and hate” directed at those in the LGBTQ community.

What a perfect illustration and summary of leftist tactics! Abuse and steal from those you are purportedly serving, and, if they complain about this abuse and theft, accuse them of inciting “violence and hate.”

Democrats—and government entities of every type—routinely do this. It is their modus operandi, standard operating procedure, best practice.

And, tragically and sickeningly, it’s effective…because the sheeple don’t push back.

What a drag.

 

Cross-Shaped Pier Symbol Of Scary Christian Nationalism?

 

It seems that Christianity is now the one religion everyone is free to criticize, mock or be offended by. Even other Christians. Case in point: some members of the LGBTQ community are “deeply concerned” about a soon-to-be rebuilt pier in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. Why? Because it is to be constructed in the shape of a cross. Gasp!

The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, a Methodist group, established the town more than 150 years ago, and still owns the small beach and boardwalk, as well as the rest of the land that the town and its businesses sit on. (When buying a home in Ocean Grove, residents must enter into a land-lease agreement with the camp.)

After the town’s largest pier sustained serious damage from Hurricane Sandy in 2012, the association embarked on an extensive campaign to rebuild it. The groundbreaking finally took place in July, but the design of the pier has caused some trepidation among certain residents of the community and surrounding areas.

Douglas Grote, a retired Presbyterian pastor who lives in the town, has sent several letters to officials at the state and local level on behalf of members of the LGBT community, calling the pier design “Christian bullying.”

“I am so deeply concerned,” Grote told NJ.com. ”And I am so concerned [for] my neighbors who are scared and bullied.” By a wooden pier? They’re not particularly concerned about rising crime, street violence, theft, and car-jacking, but a large dock is frightening them?

Shane Martins, an attorney and Ocean Grove resident who is gay, claims people are “being hurt” by the pier. No, Shane, people are being hurt by criminal recidivism, rising inflation, and vaccine mandates. By contrast, piers let people walk over water safely.

“Once this pier is built like a cross, I believe that will be the point of a no return,” he said to NJ.com. “To say (the cross-shaped pier) doesn’t represent Christian nationalism — anyone who says that isn’t being honest.” A single jetty on a small strip of land owned by a church group represents Christian nationalism? Does a plethora of LGBTQ flags and Pride! banners being carried down city streets by throngs of people wearing next to nothing represent Gay nationalism? Should heterosexual Christians feel “scared and bullied” at the sight of just one such banner or symbol of the LGBTQ community? Does that mean we’ve passed the “point of no return?”

And then we have the recent Libs of TikTok video in which a person discussed using "god" as a pronoun. The self-described atheist claimed not to have a gender and said that "it's like I'm existing" and "not existing at the same time — god" and "I am a being" but also "not a being ... like god." Alrighty then.

The person in the video also stated that "'God' is me validating my agender-ness,” and added, "People can get offended. That's fine, but nothing else validates my agender-ness like that pronoun.”

The person’s pronoun is “God?” Because “God” validates agender-ness?

It might be good for that “person” to travel to Ocean Grove someday, walk out on the pier…and watch the sun rise.

I don’t know about “agender-ness,” but God validates the skies and the sea, the truth…and eternal life.

Pennsylvania Department Of Education Says Three-Year-Olds Should Have "Preferred" Pronouns Honored

 

According to a guide on the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s website, children as young as three years old can identify themselves as transgender, and the department recognizes the pronouns “ne, ve, ze/zie, and xe” as valid options for the kiddies to use. Additionally, in the section titled “Creating Gender-Inclusive Schools and Classrooms,” teachers are urged to inquire as to their students’ preferred pronouns to prevent making inaccurate assumptions about their gender identities.

The website states: “In addition to the traditional pronouns (he/him, she/her, they), some people prefer to use gender-neutral pronouns, such as ne, ve, ze/zie and xe. If you don’t know a student’s preferred personal pronoun, it’s always best to ask.”

The website also defines “binary gender” as the “faulty concept that there are only two genders: male and female.” Moreover, the department’s webpage includes a lesson guide encouraging teachers to host a “gender-neutral day” in their classrooms for grades 3-12.

The guide says that, as part of the activity, students should pick two to three ways they will reject gender stereotypes, and the teacher should make specific commitments to challenge gender norms in the classroom.

Yes, let’s get kids questioning themselves—and their bodies-- as early as possible! Let’s get them talking about their private parts in front of other kids and an adult by three or four years old. Let’s tell them that there aren’t just boys and girls, but a myriad of genders and sexes!

Let’s tell them that God was just kidding! Or lying outright! Or, better yet, doesn’t exist!

Better yet, let’s tell them that, even though we didn’t create ourselves and have no idea how we—and everything else—was created, we know better than any higher power or cosmic entity what we were supposed to be…and possess the power to make it so.

If a teacher asked me what my pronouns were, I would answer: “he, hers, they, ne, ve, ze and xe,” depending on what day of the week it is.”

But Ted Cruz (R-TX), speaking at CPAC recently, had a better idea. He introduced himself and then proudly asserted that his pronouns were “kiss my ass.”

 

 

Trans Woman Tweets That Trans Women Are Biological Women

 

Eli Erlick identifies as "Extremely queer & incredibly trans." (As opposed to relatively queer and common, garden-variety trans, I guess.) Erlick is also fond of using social media platforms to declare that transgender women are actually women. Period.

One of Erlick’s tweets states: "Trans women are natural women. Trans women are normal women. Trans women are biological women. Trans women are born women. Trans women are women.”

No they aren’t, or they wouldn’t be “trans.” They would not have had to transition. This should be self-evident, a priori.

In another tweet, Erlick proclaimed: “The only inherent difference between trans women and cis women is that trans women were assigned male by a doctor. Trans is an adjective that describes that assignment.”

Paraphrasing Hillary Clinton, if that’s the case, what difference, at this point, does the word “difference” make? Or “Biological.” (“Bi-illogical?”) Used like this, they have been stripped of their meaning, rendered moot.

For that matter, the word “cis” is nonsensical, too. Cis fill-in-the-blank is the same as whatever filled in the blank, so in using it we are just wasting a word and confusing people.

 If a “woman” can have a penis, there is no reason she can’t have an elephant’s trunk-- or ivory tusks and a tail. And pigs can have wings and I can identify as a Sheepdog.

I mean, trans Sheepdogs are natural Sheepdogs. Trans Sheepdogs are normal Sheepdogs. Trans Sheepdogs are biological Sheepdogs. Trans Sheepdogs are born Sheepdogs. Trans Sheepdogs are Sheepdogs. The only inherent difference between trans Sheepdogs and cis Sheepdogs is that trans Sheepdogs were assigned human by a doctor at birth. Trans is simply an adjective that describes that arbitrary assignment.

Right?

It is time we all wake up, shake off the woke spell we have succumbed to…and transition to grownups.

If our society is to avoid collapse, we must jettison belief in a “trans reality” and instead embrace cis reality. We must abandon pursuit of “trans truth”-- and seek the truth. Period.

And some truths are remarkably easy to see. Like the difference between men and women, for example.

Trans Men, Simulated Periods

 

Bryony Farmer, a YouTuber from Old Blighty, has produced a video instructing men who think they are women on how to simulate a period…complete with a recipe for fake menstrual blood. The Post Millennial recently reported that Farmer’s video begins with the written message: “Menstruation is something natural that is constantly associated with being a ‘woman,’ therefore it is completely normal for all women to want to experience this sensation and I hope you all can appreciate that.”

It is alarming that Farmer seems a little baffled as to why menstruation is “constantly associated with being a ‘woman.’” (Perhaps if Farmer were a farmer, he would realize that egg production is something exclusively female, as is the presence of teats and mother’s milk.)

And calling menstruation a “sensation” is certainly understating the affect—and toll—it can take on women. I hope one day Farmer and men like him can appreciate that. Menstruation, the ability to conceive and grow a baby in a specially designed sanctuary in one’s body—and the subsequent ability to nurse and nurture that baby for the first year or so of life via milk specifically produced for that task—are all divine hallmarks of human females. Period.

Aspiring trans women might say, “Men can menstruate, too. I mean, the first three letters of menstruation spell ‘men!’ Coincidence?”

But, “simulated periods?” Really? How far are we willing to go in our pathetic attempt to pull one over on God…question mark.

I believe there are too many simulated men now.

And far too much genuine ignorance and insanity. Exclamation point.

 

 

Self-Control Or Government-Control?

 

Former Speaker of the House Robert Winthrop once noted, “All societies of men must be governed in some way or another. The less they may have of stringent state government, the more they must have of individual self-government. The less they rely on public law or physical force, the more they must rely on private moral restraint. Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled either by a power within them or a power without them, either by the Word of God or by the strong arm of man, either by the Bible or the bayonet.”

This is why today’s hyper-secular progressive Democrats disdain religion. It is why Democratic politicians shuttered churches but not strip clubs during the plandemic pandemic. It is why they wish to legalize all drugs, and why they give away free crack pipes. And why they are so keen on unfettered abortion. It is why they claim there is no way to define what a woman is. Or a man for that matter. And that there are an infinite number of sexes/genders/equally valid sexual orientations. “Man and woman He created them?” What a bunch of bunk, they exclaim!

Lust is awesome, especially if not directed at a cis-gendered person of the opposite sex! Gluttony is okay. Have another toke. In fact, we’ll send you a crack pipe, free of charge. Hunter has a bunch of extras, anyway. Greed isn’t sinful, as long as it suits our needs. Pfizer, the Chicoms, Zuckerberg, Soros…all good! Sloth? Sloth is the one thing that isn’t a characteristic-- or tool-- of white supremacists! Envy, covetousness? You should damn sure be envious of anyone who has any more than you have! And you should show them your wrath! And take their stuff from them…or just burn it down. And PRIDE! is essential, especially if you are gay, trans, polysexual…or all of the above! One day isn’t enough to tout our PRIDE! Hell, one month doesn’t do it justice! 24/7/365 baby!

When people lose their moral compass, they get smaller-- and government necessarily gets bigger. (And authoritarians have ever more power.) This, and this alone, is the credo, the private mantra, the modus operandi, and the perceived divine tenet of today’s Democrat Party.

In short, “progressive” politicians also try to abort Christian principles…that they themselves may become gods.
