Another Assassination Attempt

 

And then there were three.

In just two years. There should not be more than one assassination attempt against a president on an annual basis. There should not be any assassination attempts, ever. Period. But, again, this president has endured three. At least. And yet he wanted to go back to speak to the large gathering of reporters until the Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies informed him it just wouldn’t be prudent or possible. Protocol, as the president stated.

So, this most courageous and transparent of presidents gave a press conference shortly after being whisked out of the Washington Hilton Hotel, during which he actually complimented the very people who have been savaging him and labeling him “Hitler,” a “fascist,” a “king,” and generally and incessantly smearing, libeling, and slandering him for lo these past ten years or so. Remarkable.

We know very little about the crazed shooter at this point, other than that he is from California…and can run very fast. Early reports indicate that he is a registered Democrat. Of course, many questions remain to be answered. How did he get through the outer security layers surrounding the hotel? Did he act alone? Is there any chance he was acting on behalf of Iran? Was he primarily targeting Trump or was he hoping for a mass shooting?

Yet there are a great many things we know. Some of which we do not want to know. But we must ourselves have the courage to seek the truth, wherever it leads us. When “my truth” trumps the truth, society is in its final days. The truth is that the mainstream media has worked diligently to discredit—and indeed vilify—President Trump since Day One. The Russia-Collusion Hoax, the Fine People on Both Sides Hoax, the Impeachable Phone Call with the Leader of Ukraine Hoax, etc., etc., etc. Calling him names and asserting that he is a racist, sexist, king, or Nazi. Some of the “correspondents” at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner tonight were to sport pocket handkerchiefs inferring that Trump is a tyrant who opposes free speech and brutalizes the media. Would a tyrant who despises free speech, and who is fervently trying to eliminate it, speak to a group of many hundreds of well-dressed “journalists” who are eating a lavish dinner and consuming copious quantities of wine, all while hoping to hear someone “roast” that alleged tyrant?

No, the real tyrants are those who take over campuses, despoil classic paintings, glue themselves to basketball courts, and block major roadways. The real tyrants are those who knowingly cover for massive hoaxes because they share in the hoped-for agenda-driven outcome, others and truth be damned. The real tyrants are those who would help in transitioning a child’s gender without informing that child’s parents, or who would label concerned parents terrorists. The real tyrants are organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center. Turns out, the SPLC gives money to the handful of existing real Nazis in America, funds the relatively few actual racists—and has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to remaining members of the KKK. Far-left groups such as these, and the equally far-left mainstream media, have demonized Trump and conservatives to the point they have made them targets. They bear responsibility for these assassination attempts and the actual assassination of Charlie Kirk and others. They should be held to be criminal co-conspirators.

It is a sad and ironic fact that this hotel is the same edifice outside of which Ronald Reagan was shot in 1981, so early on in his consequential presidency. As Trump truthfully stated, consequential presidents tend to be the targets of assassination attempts, inconsequential ones not so much. (Think Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Reagan, and now Trump.)

It would be great if this night somehow transformed America back into what it used to be prior to the Obama-Biden administrations, where things other than race and politics mattered at least a little bit. But that isn’t going to happen, because Democrats and their sycophants in the media will not let it happen. They will continue to vilify those that don’t share their Marxist agenda. They will continue to label those with whom they disagree as racists, sexists, transphobes, Islamophobes, and Nazis, no matter the devastation that may cause. They will continue with their emphasis on skin color, intersectionality, and class. As will the other organizations that benefit from these alleged inequities.

We must finally understand that “progressives” don’t want to solve problems, they want to profit from them, even as they demonize profit. Not enough racism? Then racism must be created. So that money comes in, ostensibly to help us fight the self-same racism we have paid to create. The same goes for sexism, climate change, and any other issue the Left deems to be a “crisis.” Solving these “crises” would be a disaster for them, as it would render them moot, impotent, and out of cash. They exist to foment and exacerbate problems… the better to suck up your taxes. That is the real truth, ugly as it is.

Trump spoke of coming together as a nation. It was a kind gesture, especially at this moment. But that can’t work. Already, many on the Left are saying that the Trump administration orchestrated this attack as a hoax to generate empathy among the electorate. Others are again bemoaning the fact that the attack wasn’t successful.

Sorry to say, the truth is that the Democrat Party should be designated as a terrorist organization and a hate group. As should the SPLC itself.
