Vice-President Harris Exploits Churches To Campaign For Democrat

 

Kamala Harris recently recorded a video to be played at over 300 Black churches across the state of Virginia. The Vice-President and Cackler-in-Chief is using the video to urge worshipers to vote for Democrat gubernatorial candidate (and former Governor) Terry McAuliffe, who is locked in an unexpectedly tight race with the Republican candidate, businessman Glenn Youngkin. Recent polls show the race to be a dead heat with each party’s candidate having leads within the margin of error.

In the video, Harris explicitly implores congregants to vote following their church services. (The upcoming election will be the first one in which Virginians will be able to vote on a Sunday.)

This is odd. I seem to recall something about the “separation of church and state.” In fact, Democrats repeat that mantra with religious zeal, as if it is the one thing they believe the Founders got right. They have used that idea as a cudgel with which to beat any Christian who might engage in public prayer, and  as proof positive that the Ten Commandments should not be allowed to be seen in a public space. Some have even suggested ridding our coins of the generic phrase “In God We Trust.”

But Harris and Democrats will get a full pass on this as they do everything else. The mainstream media wouldn’t object if Democratic-Socialists used every church, synagogue and mosque in the country in an open attempt to urge, coerce or bribe everyone to vote for every Democrat on their ballots. Even given the fact that many-- if not most-- Democrats and mainstream media members don’t believe in God, or any power higher than themselves. And have, in fact, essentially “booed” His inclusion in their party platform at their national conventions.

But hypocrisy is a fundamental part of the party platform, a core value of leftists…one they utilize in conjunction with proactive projection. Can you imagine if Vice-President Pence had made a video to be distributed to hundreds of churches urging congregants to see to the re-election of Donald J. trump? Might the media have termed the action “unseemly,” “unfair,” or worse?

We all know the answer to that. Yet, the mother of all hypocrisies is the Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal. Imagine if the media had a laptop computer of Donald Trump, Jr.’s, Eric Trump’s, or Ivanka Trump’s, that contained images of them cavorting with hookers, imbibing in illegal drugs, engaging inappropriately with a minor, and eliciting large and shady payments for access to “the big guy.” The media would not have covered that story up like Ted Kennedy trying to hide his actions in the Chappaquiddick affair. On the contrary, it would still be running “special reports” on a daily basis, even though Trump would have been run out of office and his offspring run in to prison.
