*Democrats, it is said (and obvious), never let a good crisis go to waste. Apparently, they never let a good funeral go to waste, either, as evidenced by the Paul Wellstone Memorial Fiasco and, more recently, by Barack Obama’s anti-Trump-and-Republican tirade at Rep. John Lewis’ funeral. Yet, incredibly, they may have sunk to a new low on the opening night of their national convention when they used Kristin Urquiza like a rented bicycle. Urquiza told the story of her dad, a Trump supporter from Arizona, who recently died of COVID-19 a few weeks after going to a karaoke bar shortly after the state’s lockdown was lifted. In a video message, she stated “My dad, Mark Anthony Urquiza, should be here today but he isn’t. He had faith in Donald Trump. He voted for him, listened to him, believed him and his mouthpieces when they said that coronavirus was under control and going to disappear.” Democrats don’t blame rioters for burning down buildings and attacking police, whether mask-less or not, but do pin the blame on President Trump for a man in Arizona contracting the coronavirus. And use that man’s death in a vile political stunt on national television. Sickening doesn’t begin to describe it. (#thewrongUrquiza)

*Pennsylvanians Richard Ross and his wife spent two years preparing for their family’s recent vacation to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Florida. When they finally got there, they were told their disabled 7-year-old daughter could not enter the park without wearing a facial mask. She can’t do so, due to her diagnosed sensory processing disorder. The Magic Kingdom would not relent. They returned home, sadder and wiser. The Magic Kingdom, like so many other things, has lost its luster, its mojo, its raison d’être, and its soul.

*Dr. Deborah Birx, White House coronavirus coordinator, recently waxed nostalgic about Italy’s pandemic lockdown. She stated: “I wish that when we went into lockdown, we looked like Italy. When Italy locked down, I mean, people weren’t allowed out of their houses. And they couldn’t come out but once every two weeks to buy groceries for one hour, and they had to have a certificate that said they were allowed.” Yes, that would have been awesome! How wonderful to have the government tell you you can’t leave your house except for one hour every two weeks to try to procure food to keep your family from starving. And that you needed a hall pass to do even that. Maybe the government can also tell us where we are “allowed” to go, whom we are “allowed” to go with, and what else we can and cannot do. Oh wait, in many cases, they already are. If that doesn’t sadden and frighten you far more than the pandemic does, you are already livestock. Or an obedient robot.

Media Largely Ignores Worst Mass Shooting In The U.S. This Year

              At least 20 people were shot in the early morning hours of August 9^th at a cookout in Washington, D.C. A 17-year-old was killed, and an off-duty police officer sustained life-threatening injuries when multiple shooters opened fire at the gathering in Southeast Washington’s Greenway neighborhood.  The event was attended by as many as 400 people. At least eleven of those shot were female. Apparently, a dispute broke out, leading to an exchange of fire. Authorities said they were hard-pressed to recall another incident when so many people were shot at once. Yet, incredibly, the mainstream media mostly avoided reporting on the biggest mass shooting in the United States this year. You see, the shooters weren’t police. And they weren’t even white. Ergo, nothing to see here.

              The Washington Post was compelled to report on the tragedy, if only because it is the hometown newspaper and people would have noticed had it, too, tried to bury the story. Stupefyingly, it chose to frame the story as one of lawlessness, not because of the murder and shooting of innocent people, but because most in attendance weren’t wearing facial masks. The paper’s report soberly noted, “The party and the tragedy that ensued revived questions about large gatherings that flout Mayor Muriel E. Bowser’s order that prohibits groups larger than 50 people and requires those older than 2 to wear a mask when they leave home and are likely to come into contact with others.”

              The mayor indicated that police might now have to take a tougher stand against…those heinous criminals who flout the law and societal norms by openly attending cookouts mask-less. Police were aware of the impending event through an online advertisement and had been monitoring it. Authorities are now considering penalizing the promoters of the block party. Authorities appear to think the reason 20 people got shot was because they weren’t wearing masks to a cookout and defied the mayor’s mask order. It used to be that people wore masks only when they were planning to commit a crime. Attendees said that people were having fun for hours and that the gathering was peaceful…until it wasn’t. A “mostly peaceful” cookout, as it were. 

              More than 115 people have been murdered in the District of Columbia this year, a significant increase over this time in 2019, which was itself a decade-long high. D.C. officials have attributed some of the killings to disputes involving gangs but have also said that criminal suspects released from jail because of coronavirus concerns have contributed to the escalating violence. But then they also said that a gathering that size shouldn’t have been allowed. I mean, since they weren’t rioting, looting and burning down buildings. Officials said the number of people at the party made it a clear violation of Bowser’s orders to control the spread of the coronavirus and noted that violations carry fines of up to $1,000.

Mayor Bowser stated, of the brazenly mask-less cookout attendees (not the indiscriminate shooters), “It’s very important that as a community we have a zero-tolerance for this activity.” She also noted that, in the future, police will have to “break up these events,” and “the community is going to have to understand that some people may have to go to jail.” Cookouts are dangerous, you see. She added: “We know it’s summertime, people have been cooped up and they don’t have a lot of places to go. There have been cookouts that have happened peacefully for years and years that are spinning out of control.” Due to mask-less people, apparently. Even though every peaceful cookout she referenced “for years and years” was attended entirely by those without facial masks. Perhaps there is another reason cook-outs—and nearly everything else—seem to be spinning out of control. Like the collapse of morality, religion and the nuclear family maybe?

One D.C. Council member recognized that enforcing Bowser’s mandates would present challenges for the police, noting, “A block party is the ultimate community activity. That’s funny, I thought rioting was. The same council member said that those congregating across the District must recognize that mask-wearing and social distancing make a difference in the midst of a public health emergency. She said, “We can only hope that people will follow the instructions given out by the mayor and the health commissioner. Unfortunately, some people in this community think they are immune.”

Actually, some people—probably many—in D.C. are immune to the coronavirus. The same can be said for people around the country. “Herd immunity.”

Unfortunately, none of us are immune to the idiocy, hypocrisy, bias and tyranny of the elites who endeavor to enslave us.

Will Lack Of Distinction Lead To Judgement Day?

As Dennis Prager has noted, Judaism is a religion of distinctions. I would suggest the same could well be said of Christianity or, for that matter, the United States as a nation. These distinctions have served us well over time, but they are now rapidly being eviscerated in favor of the new One True God, Tolerance.

Mr. Prager listed five key distinctions, which I will list here. If we are honest, we will have to admit that all five are under attack and weakened. In two or three of these cases, I would argue that the definitions of the terms that comprise these binary concepts and entities, and/or the way we recognize them, have been reversed. The primary distinctions are between: A) God and man. B) Good and evil. C) Man and woman. D) Holy and profane. E) Life and death. I will address them in that order.

God used to be feared and worshipped, considered omnipotent and ever-present. Humans were to be humble and reverential, as well as appreciative of their blessings. The Lord’s name wasn’t to be taken in vain, and Sundays were for rest, contemplation and worship. Today, many openly scoff at the idea of “some guy in the sky,” while they worship certain Hollywood stars and athletes. “G*d D**n” and “Jesus Christ” are used almost as often as the word “the” in movies, television shows and some popular music. Progressive politicians and bureaucrats deliberately dispense with God so that they can replace Him with government, i.e. themselves. “Send your tithes to us,” they say, “And we will bless you and keep you.” Especially keep you.

Good and evil are also now reversed. In fact, “bad” means “good,” to many folks. “That’s one bad ass car,” is a high compliment. Exercising judgement and expecting excellence or even decency is now bad…as in bad. Christianity is mocked, Jews are attacked, the Ten Commandments have been removed from public spaces, but membership in The Church of Satan and The Satanic Temple is growing by leaps and bounds. Rioters burn and loot our cities with impunity, cheered on by certain government officials. In some states, petty theft is being completely excused while calling a transgendered person by their biologically correct pronoun is considered a crime. There is a growing movement in academia to characterize competence, civil behavior and punctuality as damning relics of a white, patriarchal hegemony.

The distinction between man and woman has been all but obliterated, as has the very concept of binary sexes. Tragically, this has damaged—and is threatening to destroy-- one of the greatest joys of human existence. It also demeans how humans come to be and attempts to negate the Book of Genesis, which does not say, “male and female…and pangender, nanogender and at least threescore other genders He created them.”

As with good and evil, we have essentially flipped what is considered holy and what is considered profane. It is now considered profane to state that marriage should be between one man and one woman or that only women can give birth. The concept of “Love is Love,” regardless of the sex/gender, age, species, or number of beings involved, is now considered holy by “progressives.” As is belief in man-caused “climate change.” And unfettered abortion.

Life is so undervalued that “assisted suicide’ laws are popping up around the country, as are laws allowing abortion of a baby up to the moment of birth—and until just a little while after. Many believe it is immoral to put a single terrorist or mass-murderer to death but are super stoked about the slaughter of tens of millions of innocent babies world-wide every year in the guise of women’s “choice.”

God and man, good and evil and holy and profane are, obviously, closely related. As are man and woman and life and death. But, in truth, all of these are now part and parcel of two distinct worldviews. That’s right, binary outlooks. One recognizes the idolatry of man, evil, the profane, gender irrelevance, and death as the primary virtues to be enshrined and worshipped. The other considers God, good, the holy, complimentary sexes, and life as sacred.

The former belief system has destroyed every single society in which it has taken hold. The latter ushered in The Enlightenment, the United States of America, and unparalleled prosperity.

Is one better than the other? Who among us will dare to make that distinction?

             

Minneapolis Taxes Businesses' Rubble, Patience

First, Minneapolis officials let rioters burn down and otherwise destroy nearly 100 businesses over the course of several nights. They told police to stand down. Since then, incredibly, they have refused to let the owners remove the twisted wreckage of their demolished businesses without a permit. A permit they would not grant unless the owners of the now defunct shops, service outlets and eateries prepaid the second half of their 2020 property taxes. And contractors cannot provide an estimate of how much it will cost to rebuild their businesses until the debris is removed. St. Paul, the Minneapple’s sister city, has waived the tax requirement.

Don Blyly, owner of a bookstore destroyed in the riots, told the Minneapolis StarTribune: “Minneapolis has not been particularly friendly toward business for some time.” This is a candidate for Understatement of the Year, akin to saying that “Joe Biden hasn’t been the most eloquent person on the face of the Earth lately.” Blyly prepaid $8,847 in second half taxes a week ago, yet still hasn’t received his permit. Minneapolis officials lamely cited a state law for their intransigence. However, the law clearly leaves enforcement up to the counties, and Hennepin County officials say they made it clear to the city of Minneapolis earlier this summer that they would not enforce the requirement for any riot-damaged or destroyed properties.

Large stretches of Lake Street and other areas of the city have been reduced to piles of rubble. Piles of rubble that are still there, ugly, depressing and filled with hazardous materials. Basim Sabri is the owner of several properties on or near Lake Street. He told the StarTribune: “You can’t just allow a bunch of rubble and hazardous material to sit in the middle of Lake Street. People could get hurt. Where are our City Council members? What are they doing? Have they seen it?” They are too busy virtue-signaling and hiring private security for their own protection to tend to the needs of their city’s business community, Mr. Sabri.

On average, the paper reported, the owners of properties destroyed or significantly damaged owe $25,000 in taxes for the second half of 2020. Moreover, most of these owners will also have to pay $35,000 to $100,000 to have their sites cleared of debris. For many, their businesses were their only source of income. Already hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, the riots have left them unable to comply with the city’s mandates. Unsurprisingly, owners say the lack of progress has discouraged reinvestment and is forcing customers—and businesses—to look elsewhere.

To recap, businesses pay property taxes in large part to secure the services of the police and the fire department. City officials took the business owners’ first half 2020 taxes but then refused to let the police and fire department protect their businesses. Talk about a breach of contract. They didn’t demand any payment or recompense from the thugs and criminals who looted and plundered the businesses, but did demand payment of second half taxes from the businesses they let be destroyed, before they would “let” them clean up the mess the thugs and city created. Try to wrap your mind around that.

Shortly after the paper published the article, the city waived the pre-paid second half 2020 tax requirement. Mayor Jacob Frey announced the change and said, “I recently learned about the predicament and took quick action to fix it. For the sake of our businesses, we need to be removing every last possible barrier to recovery and reopening.” He recently learned about “the predicament?” That seems odd, him being the city’s mayor and all. Plus, Andrew Johnson is the one City Council member who has been sympathetic to the business owners’ plight. Frey issued a statement saying that he consulted with Johnson before deciding to waive the collection of property taxes as part of the debris removal process. Johnson has been lobbying city (and county) officials to address the issue and rectify the situation since June. And this is the first the feckless Frey had heard about it?

The wealthy are fleeing New York due to exorbitantly high taxes and a drastic increase in crime. The state’s clueless governor attempts to woo them back by offering to buy them a drink. Businesses are leaving New York, Illinois and California for the same reasons.  Now Minneapolis has joined the list of leftist-run states and cities seemingly determined to erode their tax bases to appease the frenzied mob.

Better raise taxes on the remaining businesses, right Mayor Frey?

The NFL Nixes Live Anthem Performances

              According to Front Office Sports, the National Football League won’t allow any live performances of the national anthem prior to NFL games this season. The league is also considering limiting the presence of military and police honor guards on its fields, a sea-change from even one season ago. The league claims the changes are simply a good-faith attempt to limit the number of people with access to the field to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Of course. Surely the NFL isn’t using the pandemic as an excuse to pander to left-wing protesters/rioters/social-justice-warriors and their aiders and abettors! No one would even suggest that the league is attempting to cuddle up to the BLM movement! Perish the thought!

              In fact, the league will allow recordings of the Star-Spangled Banner to be played before games. Oddly enough, however, “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing,” a.k.a. the Black National Anthem, will be played before every Week 1 NFL contest, prior to the national anthem, and may well be performed live in a number of stadiums.

The league will also employ other measures to recognize victims of police brutality and support anti-racism initiatives. ESPN’s The Undefeated reports that the NFL will collaborate with the NFL Players’ Association in listing the names of victims on uniforms-- via helmet decals or jersey patches—and will also place social justice messages in the end zones during Week 1 instead of team names. The messages will include “End Racism” and “It Takes All of Us.” How about “Bad Things Suck?” This is a pathetically entry-level attempt at virtue-signaling for the most powerful sports league on Earth. Additionally, the NFL is apparently going to produce educational programs about victims and has other plans to take advantage of the current climate of hatred, division and self-loathing that The Left has so successfully sowed.

Perhaps the league will sponsor “BLM Nights” at stadiums around the fruited plain and offer discounts to Antifa members, as well. Maybe it will introduce graduated ticket pricing, whereby a straight white Christian male, for example, would pay $300 for “ticket X,” but a non-binary, agnostic person of color would get the same ticket for $22.50.

A famous NFL owner used to exclaim, “Just win, baby!” Today that would be amended to, “Just virtue-signal, baby!”

Let’s hope that the NFL soon stands for “No Fans League”

Democrats, Media Blast Trump For Saying He Might Give RNC Speech At Gettysburg

              President Trump recently tweeted—as he is wont to do—that he is considering giving his Republican National Convention speech from the battlefield at Gettysburg National Military Park.

              Commentators and Trump critics blasted the president—as they are wont to do—for the remark, claiming that if he did so it would be proof of his alleged support for the Confederacy.

              The litany of fools included actor Rob Reiner who opined that if trump were to speak at Gettysburg, it would be to “celebrate” his “devotion to White Supremacy.” (Amusingly, Reiner himself is proof of the fallacy of White Supremacy, though he is unaware of this fact.) CNN’s Jeremy Diamond added that Trump speaking at Gettysburg “could be controversial” because “this is a president who has consistently positioned himself as a defender of Confederate symbols and monuments to Confederate generals.” Others have made similar statements.

              Does no one know history anymore? Gettysburg was the site of the Union’s most pivotal, if costly, victory. It turned the tide of the war permanently in the Union’s favor. It was also the site of Lincoln’s famous address lauding the sacrifices of those soldiers and calling for the healing of the nation’s wounds. It is literally the last place on Earth one would go to “celebrate” devotion to White Supremacy or the Confederacy. In this Era of Insanity, this Age of Unreason, if Trump were to speak at Yorktown, he’d be labeled a British puppet. If he were to speak at One World Trade Center (the Freedom Tower in New York City), Never-Trumpers would do a 180 and accuse him of being pro-Islamic Jihad. If he were to give an address at Pearl Harbor, the mainstream media would smear him as being nothing more than a sycophant of Japan’s Emperor Naruhito.

              But when politicians like Ilhan Omar (D-MN) speak to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and tells them to “raise hell” and “make people uncomfortable,” no one on the left accuses them of being pro-Islamic Jihad or anti-American. When President Obama spoke to then Russian President Dmitri Medvedev and winkingly told him, “After the election, I’ll have more flexibility,” the mainstream media thought nothing of it. Yet, if Trump ate a bowl of borscht, the media would find it proof that he is a tool of Putin.

(Background chanting heard) ”Death to Trump! Death to America! Death to the Great Satan!”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (on a “virtual” stage): “Welcome to the Democratic National Convention 2020, live from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Okay, just kidding, that’s where we were supposed to be before the Trump Virus ravaged our nation. You know, like, Republicans don’t think we Democrats like ‘fly-over country,’ but that’s just not true. Take Wisconsin for instance…please. Just kidding, cheese-heads! Who doesn’t like a state with ‘con’ and ‘sin’ in its name, haha? I wish we had been able to meet in Brew Town. There’s no better way to cool off than with a tall cold one…and I’m not, like, talking about Mitt Romney, heh-heh. No, seriously, we like Mitt now.  Anyway, a word about, like, the agenda for the next four days. We’ll be hearing more from the candidates on where they stand on the most important issues facing this country, issues like transgender bathroom freedom, illegal immigrant rights, criminalization of the First and Second Amendments, and legalization of heroin, crack cocaine and, like, necrophilia. Tomorrow, Rep. Ilhan Omar will explain to everyone how to volunteer for the Iranian Guard Corps Quds Force, and where to send your donations to Hezbollah. Wednesday we will craft the official party platform and, finally, Thursday, we will officially name and honor our nominee and hear an inspiring talk from her, I mean him…and her, er, his vice-president, as well. Wednesday we will be voting on a platform reflecting our core values and progressive, forward-looking mindset. Key, non-negotiable planks of our, like, platform include:

*Impeaching President Trump again…several more times if possible. There's still time! Failing that, we’ll shoot him. And his family. Oh, um, I mean in the unlikely event that we don’t defeat him this November.

*Banning the manufacture, sale and possession of all guns, including BB guns and rubber band guns. Also, banning the airing of the old television show ‘Gunsmoke,’ and all appearances by the rock group ‘Guns N’ Roses.’

*Keeping all American flags at half-mast until a Democrat is elected president, at which time we will ban them from public spaces.

*Keeping Americans safe (especially ourselves) by know-towing to our enemies…who are actually just friends we haven’t made yet.

*Protecting women’s inalienable health care rights and actually expanding them to include the right to abort their unwanted children up to the age of five and the right to sell their body parts via the internet if the revenue generated is immediately turned over to Black Lives Matter.

*Immediately stripping all powers from the executive branch of the government while a Republican is president, and permanently disbanding the legislative and judicial branches as soon as the next Democratic president is elected. For the people.

*Banning all extraction industries,  nuclear power, and destroying the energy sector, forcing America to utilize sustainable energy practices such as burning wood and dung,  suddenly freeing tightly coiled rubber bands, and shuffling one’s feet on a carpeted floor during cold and dry periods.

*Clearly stating that Socialism is a more enlightened economic--and moral-- system than capitalism.

*Acknowledging that any and all possible permutations of ‘marriage’ and ‘family’ are equally valid and divine. Love is love. Believe it. Or else. 

*Replacing the silly, misplaced worship of some guy in the sky with the serious, sober, truly spiritual adoration of…us. And Oprah. Replacing any Christian monuments with statues of Baphomet.

Well, it’s time for Rep. Rashida Tlaib to lead us all in singing, ‘God Damn America.’ Let the, like, virtual convention begin!” 

Michigan B & B Owners Forced To Take Down Norwegian Flag

              Greg and Kjersten Offenbecker own The Nordic Pineapple B & B in St. Johns, Michigan. They are Norwegian…and proud of it. As such, they flew the Norwegian flag in front of their inn.

              They don’t anymore.

              Why? They say they received roughly “two dozen hateful emails” from people who thought they were flying the Confederate flag. Two dozen. They claim the emails had gotten more hateful as of late. Kjersten said, “We have 4 or 5 really nasty ones that are much more hurtful.” Which led to their difficult decision to take down the flag. They should have left it up and added one with a giant middle finger protruding from an otherwise clenched fist. But, it’s daunting to take on the mob.

Kjersten told the Daily Caller: “We hang the Norwegian flag because I am a 4^th generation Norwegian-American. I am very proud of that heritage and wanted to share a piece of it with the people who come to visit our bed and breakfast.” She added, “The Norwegians are a peaceful people who love family and that is what our inn really is all about. We just want people to come stay with us and experience a wonderful getaway.”

Greg Offenbecker served in the navy during Desert Storm. Ironically, the couple has adopted two black children. The haters don’t know that. Nor would they care. The Norwegian flag does not resemble the Confederate banner. The hate-mongers probably don’t know that, either. If they do, they don’t care. It is nearly impossible for a woke person/Karen/progressive/leftist/identity-politics purveyor to pass up a chance to accuse someone else of being a “racist.” And, in so doing, reveal themselves to be hateful, ignorant, and small.

                                                         

          

                                   

Teen Vogue Op-Ed Calls For Abolition Of Private Property

Teen Vogue recently published an op-ed by columnist Kandist Mallett in which she declared that no one should have the right to own property. She called for the elimination of landlords while averring that “an eviction crisis is coming” due to the coronavirus pandemic’s heavy toll on the United States, which, she says, is evidence of “the failures of capitalism.”

Mallett noted that “The pandemic didn’t create this housing crisis, but it did further expose the cruelty of payment-based housing.” No, but she herself may have just exposed the futility of payment-based higher education.

She rambled on: “Instead of seeing housing as a right and something that should not be commodified, the state enlists its own armed forces—sheriffs and police—to remove occupants from residences if they cannot pay rent. The lack of protections for non-landowners should be to no surprise from a country founded on the genocide and colonization of indigenous peoples.”

Mallett ended by stating, “We need a housing movement based on a rejection of the construct that any one person should own this earth’s land.” Stupefyingly, Teen Vogue took to Twitter to tout the piece with an excerpt reading, “While we’re working to abolish the police, we must also work to dismantle what the police were put here to protect: property.” Why is a fashion magazine aimed at teenage girls espousing policy prescriptions to the left of Mao Zedong?  We must work to dismantle property? If the number of young folks currently burning buildings and toppling statues is any indication, the online rag has some readership--- and some influence. Or maybe it’s just catching up to what has already occurred and is making an attempt to seem “cool” and “woker-than-thou.”

No doubt Mallett thinks food and clothing should also be freed from the cruelty of the current payment-based market system. Commodities should not be commodified, comrade! Of course, that might make hypocrites of the fine folks at Teen Vogue. Not that its readers would notice. If ignorance were a virtue, they would all be Mother Teresas.

If queried, I’m certain Mallett would say that birth control should be free for all, too. “Oh, and sex toys like vibes and things.”

In its next issue, Teen Vogue will surely call for the abolishment of life and liberty, “both mere constructs evolved from white, patriarchal privilege.”

Has to catch up with the Democratic Party, you know.

Pro-Life Sidewalk-Chalkers Arrested

              A pair of pro-life college students were arrested recently for chalking “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” on a sidewalk outside of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Washington, D.C. The two were charged with…wait for it…defacing public property…which is extremely odd, since they were participating in a protest organized by Students for Life of America. I thought we all agreed that protesting was a cherished right of every American. And that Black Lives Matter. I guess Pre-Born Black Lives are the exception to the rule. The arrests were also odd since the group was originally told it could paint in the street and was even issued a permit to do so, with the temporary paint it had purchased. But, when they arrived at the clinic, police threatened to arrest them if they did just that. They then asked if they could use sidewalk chalk to convey their anti-violence message. They were threatened with arrest again.

              Yet, mere weeks ago, D.C.’s mayor painted “Black Lives Matter” slogans-- in giant letters-- onto the streets of her city with permanent paint, prompting the pro-life students to remark: “In doing this, she proclaimed not only what those of us in the pro-life [community] genuinely believe and fight for every day in front of Planned Parenthoods and other abortion facilities across America, but she also opened up the streets of Washington, D.C. for public expression.”

              Just not that kind of expression. Black Lives Matter good. Black Pre-born Lives Matter bad. Free speech for Marxists good. Free speech for Christians bad. Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, sex, gender-identity, sexual orientation, or (most) religions bad. Discrimination based on viewpoints and political beliefs good.

              If you happen to be a member of a protected group, such as BLM or Antifa, you can deface and destroy public property and burn down private property with impunity. You can paint your favorite slogans on anything you like, anywhere in the country. Others will applaud you. Or do it for you.

              However, if you are of a bit more conservative persuasion, and you dare to try to write a pro-life message on a sidewalk with Crayola Sidewalk Chalk that will wash off the very next time it rains…you will be arrested.

              Incredible. Or it damn well should be.
