The Coup

 

When a democratically elected government is overthrown in a semi-violent coup, that nation’s citizens are overthrown, as well. The plotters of this putsch, the media and academia, are far worse than the Marxist agitators who perpetrated the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917. In this case, the will of the people was arbitrarily overturned, 70-plus million votes were nullified, and the rule of law was trampled.

              Sixty years into the “glorious worker’s paradise,” comrades in the USSR were still obligated to stand in long lines in order to purchase some bread and toilet paper, while hoping there might be a fresh vegetable or piece of fruit- or, could it be?- a little decent meat available that week, as well. Planned, state-controlled, command economies always end in deprivation or starvation. Period.  See Venezuela. Cuba. Etc.

              It’s not going to work out any better for us here in the U.S.

As in the Soviet Union, only leftist, statist political participants are now allowed in the formerly United States of America. People are told what they can say and think, and where they can say and think it. They have been beaten and cowed and have ceded control to their politically-correct masters. People in the U.S. have never agreed about everything, of course, and sometimes disagreed about a great deal. But, what nearly everyone did agree on, and the reason many came- and stayed- in the United States is the reason we were united in the first place. It was an unshakeable belief in the Founder’s vision, in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The First and Second Amendments, in particular, guaranteed a generally virtuous people protection from a large, capricious and despotic government. 

              This ongoing coup is not a true revolution. It is a vast collection of entitled, empowered, narrow-focused special-interest groups demanding the reins of power, everything- and everyone- else be damned.

              It is, in fact, a reversal- a repeal- of the American Revolution. 

              Old Glory is coming down. Freak flags and Red Banners are rising.

 

Immorality And The Left

 

Walls are immoral. (Though they protect the innocent). Guns are immoral. (Though they protect the innocent, and level the playing field for women, the elderly and the infirm). Free speech is immoral. (Though it is the hallmark of a successful, tolerant, modern society). Sugar is immoral. Meat is murder…though abortion is “healthcare.” “Mis-gendering” someone is a crime but killing a cop in cold blood is an understandable reaction to a racist society. Radical Islamic terror is ‘workplace violence’ or is committed by a party or parties that have been marginalized by Western nations, the threat of which is entirely overblown, while the omni-presence of radical, right-wing, white supremacist groups is an existential threat to all minorities and the Republic as a whole. Having drag-queens parade around in grade-school classrooms in front of little kids in obvious attempts at indoctrination into the LGBTQ lifestyle is a healthy sign of diversity and is enlightening and protected by the Constitution, while pastors who recite passages from the Bible are threatened and silenced for their “hate speech.”

              On and on and on it goes. Where it stops, every rational being should know.

              To the left, the only thing that isn’t immoral is immorality.

              “Go to hell, you say?” We are already on our way.

Black Lives Matter Presses Biden-Harris Ticket For Quid Pro Quo

 

Patrisse Cullors, Black Lives Matter co-founder, recently sent a letter of congratulations to Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris, who the media have unilaterally declared the winner of the 2020 American presidential election. The letter, which Cullors signed “on behalf of the Black Lives Matter Global Network,” went on to press the duo to act in accordance with the group’s agenda.

“We are requesting a meeting with you both to discuss the expectations that we have for your administration and the commitments that must be made to Black people,” Cullors wrote. She boldly added, “We want something for our vote.”

A quid pro quo? How nice. So much for exercising your civic duty. Screw the republic, show us the money…or else! A thinly veiled threat emanating from a “global” Marxist network and directed towards an incoming American presidential administration is likely unprecedented. It is certainly unacceptable-- and dangerous if not rejected outright. It is, in fact, precisely what the Founders were warning us against when they noted that our republican government was only suitable for a moral people. When people choose to vote only for whichever candidate(s) they think will give them—and members of their particular group-- the most free stuff, everyone else be damned, their supposedly cherished democracy is not long for the world. This is especially true when special-interest groups attach specific demands to their votes, tacitly or openly, essentially selling them to the highest bidder. Is reparations the “something” that Cullors says BLM wants for its vote? Free healthcare and college for Blacks only? A limit placed on the number of children white parents can have?

Ms. Cullors, what would you think if a group of caucasians sent a letter to the Biden-Harris ticket—or to President Trump and Vice-President Pence-- saying, “We are requesting a meeting with you both to discuss the expectations that we have for your administration and the commitments that must be made to White people?” Would you be a tad skeptical? Upset? Scared? 

And what do Asian voters demand? Christians? 19-year-old vegan pangender atheists born on a Thursday?

Intersectionality and multiculturalism are anathema to a healthy republic. Particularly, if ironically to some, to a highly diverse republic. These twin threats to a heterogeneous society must be unassailably shown to be the clear and present dangers that they are if the American experiment is to be successfully continued.

This is why the (now much maligned) Founders believed in equality under the rule of law…and e plurubus unum.

And it is the only viable way forward. For all of us.

 

 

 

 

675,000 Americans Died Due To The Spanish Flu Of 1918

 

675,000 Americans died due to the Spanish Flu in and around 1918. Yet we didn’t “turtle.” (Or worry about calling it the “Spanish Flu.” Even though it may have originated in Kansas, but probably came from—you guessed it—China.) 110,000 died in WWI, as well, yet we didn’t throw in the towel. Then we had a great depression followed by WW II. Many, many more deaths. Yet, we did not give up. We did not lose hope. We did not change our economic and political systems. We did not attack each other. Or burn down our cities and destroy our monuments. Most chose to emphasize gratitude for what they had rather than express disdain for their hardship, envy of others, an entitlement mentality, or even great remorse for the times in which they lived. We won both world wars, survived the H1N1 pandemic and the Great Depression and then promptly went about the business of making our nation greater than ever before. That is the kind of tenacity that will impress friend and foe alike. How did we do it? And perhaps more to the point in today’s climate, why did we do it?

The population of the United States in 1918 was around 103 million. Today it is roughly 330 million, well over three times that of the country that suffered through the Spanish Flu. The 675,000 deaths due to the Spanish Flu would equate to approximately 2,163,000 today, more than 13 times the actual current number. (As of this writing, the U.S. has suffered “only” about 165,000 deaths due to the China Virus. Maybe the 1918 mortality rate and the adjustment for present population is what prompted the English professor who predicted 2 million deaths in America from COVID-19 to issue that startling and macabre forecast.)

To recap: despite a much deadlier pandemic—and a world war— in 1918 we didn’t shut down our economy, close our schools and jail people for being mask-less or failing to socially distance. We did not prevent them from attending church services or funerals. Why?

Over two percent of the U.S. population died from the (inaccurately named) Spanish Flu. Was President Woodrow Wilson utterly incompetent? Uncaring? Concerned only with his own financial and political well-being? I don’t know. But I do know that the media/press did not constantly badger, berate, mock and libel him. Nor did it do its best to do its worst by sowing division, envy and hatred among Americans of differing backgrounds.

We were figuratively—and literally—closer to our founding values then. We were more religious, less secular, and far more family oriented. We were, bluntly, younger and tougher. Where once we spoke softly and carried a big stick, now we babble incessantly and equivocate. And, worst of all, far too many of us have disdain for—and fear of—the truth. If we even believe in its existence. Which is why we are losing faith in our own existence.

Two songs seem especially poignant in these times. I have slightly altered the excerpted lyrics in each case by changing the “protagonist” from a man to the United States. (“The West” in general could be substituted, as well.) The first excerpt is from Frank Sinatra’s “My Way,” the second from Bob Seger’s “Like A Rock.”

The left has destroyed everything it has ever touched. It has destroyed countless lives. It is the destroyer of nations. It has become death, the destroyer of worlds. It must itself be rooted out and sent back to the Hades from whence it came.

If, instead, the United States succumbs to it, it will be the end of history.

Or, at minimum, the end of hope.

The 2020 Hoax Of The Year

 

We are living in a time of hoaxes, an era of deceit on an unprecedented scale.  

Global warming/climate change was one of the first great hoaxes of the 21^st Century, inherited as it was from the late 20^th Century. It is impossible to logically assert that man-caused global warming is occurring, as the planet has warmed more rapidly at several points in the past, prior to the industrial revolution-- and even before homo sapiens came into existence. And the climate, like nearly everything else, has always been “changing.”

The Russian Collusion Hoax came next, that being the preposterous idea that Donald Trump and his minions colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election away from the rightful winner, Hillary Rodham Clinton, who had previously rightfully stolen the Democratic nomination from Bernie Sanders. This hoax was also persistent, hanging around for years with absolutely no substance to it (much like Nancy Pelosi). This hoax has by now been debunked, repeatedly (something I wish we could say about Nancy Pelosi).

More recently, would-be Marxists from Antifa and Black Lives Matter joined anarchists and assorted other pathetic morons in looting and burning down large swaths of major American cities. Their apologists in the media cheered them on, incessantly referring to them as “mostly peaceful protesters,” as windows were shattered, fires raged, and buildings collapsed behind the very on-air “journalists,” reporting from the scene, that touted their peacefulness. Amusingly, in a few cases, these television reporters trotted out the “mostly peaceful” meme, even as they had bottles and debris hurled at them by the kind and gentle demonstrators. The “Mostly Peaceful Hoax” was born.

Then came the Coronavirus Hoax. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the existence of the virus itself is in question. Nor am I denying its seriousness. But the experts and the media deliberately attempted to create a world-wide panic by proclaiming COVID-19 to be the most dangerous plague ever to afflict mankind. At first they claimed we needed “15 days to flatten the curve.” After this decree was nearly universally and obediently followed, somewhat surprising them, they told us widescale lockdowns were needed, businesses had to be shuttered, jobs abandoned, and facial masks worn indoors and out. Mass social justice rioting was okay, they informed us, but attending church, weddings or funerals was not. Dr. Fauci gave his imprimatur to “swiping right” and having anonymous sex of any sort with a stranger, as long as both parties donned masks, but, like other experts, noted it was too risky to visit your grandmother in a nursing home.

Most recently, President Trump’s large lead in several states at the close of their polls on election day was, in virtually every case, somehow eclipsed in the days (overnights, wee hours of the morning to be more precise) to come, amid stunningly widespread allegations of cheating, malfeasance, vote-stealing and system “glitches.” Yet, after spending four years propagating the notion that Russia (and probably Macedonia by way of its content farms) had meddled in our last presidential election, leading to the Bad Orange Man becoming Commander-in-Chief, Democrats now tell us that it’s literally impossible to hack an American election and that Trump supporters are just a bunch of sore losers and whacko conspiracy theorists. In 2016, after Trump shocked them by winning, they urged people to “resist” Trump and his administration, no matter what. Resistance was patriotic, you know. Today, they demand we “unite” with the Harris-Biden Biden-Harris administration and its supporters, for the good of the country. Because, uniting behind whoever wins the presidency is patriotic, you know. The “Great Election Hoax of 2020” is a breathtaking example of chutzpah, hypocrisy, and immorality…even by modern-day Democrat standards.

Choosing the Hoax of the Year is arguably more difficult in 2020 than doing so for any other year in history. Each of the hoaxes have great merit and are truly preposterous in their own right. In light of the challenge, I’ve put much thought into the matter. Eventually, it dawned on me that the hoaxes are all related, virtual crimes perpetrated by progressives on the American people.

Democrats shamelessly used the coronavirus hoax to persuade Americans to vote by mail, allowing them to steal the 2020 presidential election, pending legal challenges. They then swore to any and all that the process and counting of ballots was all done entirely on the up and up, inconsistencies and anomalies be damned, only weeks after they continued to promote the idea that the 2016 election result was somehow engineered by the Russkies. In summation, they used the coronavirus hoax to give them the opportunity to get their own woman man elected, and then told their soon-to-be subjects to shut up and accept the results with class and dignity, and that the numerous accounts of election fraud were nothing more than the fevered dreams of far-right fascists.

Since 2020 is not yet over, it is problematic (to use a word progressives like) to choose a Hoax of the Year this early…but I have anyway. In fact, I’ve chosen two. The remarkably rapid pivot from the Russian Collusion Hoax to the Great Election Hoax of 2020 clearly constitutes the greatest back-to-back hoaxing in recorded history.  Therefore, I award them a tie for 2020 Hoax of the Year.

Someone once said, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” Anyone believing one of these hoaxes is naïve. Anyone believing both of them is insane.

 

 

 

 

Poll Claims 25% Of Women Can't Locate Their Vagina

 

             A new survey conducted by OnePoll purports to show that one in four American women do not know where their vagina is. I, for one, find it hard to believe that more men than women know the whereabouts of a women’s vagina, yet I can guarantee you that over 75% of men can pick out a vagina from the sundry other parts of a women’s body. Which is a good thing for the continuation of the species, I guess.

            Intimina, a Swedish women’s health company, commissioned the survey of 2,000 women. An Intimina spokesperson said the company hoped to reveal a glaring gap in American education, a strange goal to have, unless they intended to profit from the alleged ignorance.

            The poll also supposedly found that 46% of the women could not locate their own cervix, while 56% pointed to a different body part when prompted to identify their uterus. Only one in 10 women were able to name all the parts shown on a female reproductive diagram.

(I have a disturbing vision in my mind of Intimina employees and pollsters in a lab room next to a life-size replica of a female body, survey respondents in front of them. A pollster asks the women to identify the replica’s uterus and one woman dutifully opens the replica’s mouth and points to her tonsils. Another points to its earlobe. Yet another touches its knee.)

Danela Žagar, Intimina’s global brand manager, said the findings show that “we need to keep educating the public about how the reproductive system, its monthly processes and hormonal changes can impact a woman’s life.” Ask any husband and he’ll tell you how it impact’s his life, of that I’m certain.

Furthermore, I guarantee you 100% of males know where their penis is, even though I doubt that they are otherwise more in touch with their bodies than females.  This poll finding is either utterly bogus or it goes a long way towards explaining why women tend to vote for Democrats like Joe Biden in such high numbers. Some of those polled may think Biden is their vagina. And vice-versa. In any case, Joe could probably help sniff it out for the low-information ladies.

Let’s not even talk about Hunter.

Media Declares Biden Winner of 2024 Presidential Election

Virtually all important media outlets have now called the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election for Joe Biden. Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said, “Look, deep down we realize that we can’t actually determine the outcome of a national election, as that is up to the Electoral College on Dec. 14^th and subject to certification on Dec. 23^rd, but it’s going really well so far. Most people—and even institutions-- haven’t really questioned us concerning our 2020 call for Biden, so we thought, ‘what the hey, right?’ I mean, most people don’t have much patience or attention span anyway, and they like things resolved quickly, one way or another.” NBCUniversal News Group Chairman Cesar Conde added, “And, frankly, we just like Biden’s policies better than any jack-booted, Christianity-besotted Republican’s. So there!”

Several potential 2024 Republican candidates subsequently issued statements saying they were in the process of determining whether they would honor the media’s early call or risk facing sharp attacks from progressives if they were to contest the decision. As Jeb Bush noted, “No one likes to be branded a ‘fascist democracy-hater.’”

Scott stated that, in the interests of “probity and an abundance of caution,” no major news outlet has yet called the 2028 election.

 

Death Of A Nation

 

Stalin is alleged by some to have said: "It's not the people who vote that count, it's the people who count the votes."

No matter who said it, the quote is an excellent definition of tyranny. It is also, apparently, an accurate appraisal of what occurred in America in the hours and days after polling places closed on the evening of November 3^rd.  Yet Democrats, who’ve spent the last four years incessantly telling us that the Russians stole the 2016 presidential election from Hillary Clinton, have abruptly pivoted and now claim our election process is utterly meddle-proof, a thing of peerless integrity. Even as they were stealing the 2020 election from Donald Trump…and roughly half of American voters.

But steal it they have. For some time now, I have warned of the pending end of America as we knew it. Sadly, that day has arrived. The republic is finished. Yes, I know Republicans did much better overall than they were projected to by the “experts.” Republicans did not lose control of the Senate, though they came close to doing so. Shockingly to the pundits, they actually picked up a number of seats in the House. Maybe, in 2024, if we have the right candidate (Trump again?), we can…blah, blah, blah.

Unfortunately, that’s all so much wishful thinking. This was the presidential election we had to have to save the nation. That is why the now-radical Democrats pulled out all the stops to win it, even engaging in blatant cheating and corruption. If Biden channels his inner Obama and decides to skip the legislative process and grant immunity to 20 million illegal aliens by executive fiat, it is game over. No conservative will ever be elected president again. Period. That observation has nothing to do with racism, it’s just a simple fact. The already rapid change in the electorate can be clearly seen in the formerly red states such as Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina that have turned “purple” or blue. We are entering an era of one-party government, at least in terms of national elections. We will soon be the world’s biggest banana republic. Moreover, Biden recently vowed to recommit the U.S. to the Paris Climate Accord on “Day One” of his presidency, and is in favor of most aspects of the Green New Deal, guaranteeing that the American economy will collapse like a bad popover. He will also revive the Iran Nuclear Deal…guaranteeing Iran a viable nuclear weapon in the near future.

This didn’t just happen. This was a long-planned, well thought out scheme. It started with the radical left’s 1960s vow to embark on the “long march through the institutions.” They have all those institutions now. Academia, media, the entertainment industry/Hollywood, Big Religion, Big Business, and now Big Tech. Then came the coronavirus, or COVID-1984 as I have previously called it. Progressives used the virus itself as a kind of trojan horse. With the assistance of the aforementioned institutions, Democratic governors, mayors and health officials successfully instituted mask mandates and lock downs and instilled fear and terror into the American populace. They then urged everyone to vote by mail, if they cared about their friends, families and fellow citizens. “Stay home, stay safe.” Because, you know, “Staying apart will bring us closer together.” In turn, the unprecedented number of mail-in ballots allowed Joe Biden, Trojan Horse #2, to stay in his basement for seven months and still become president of the United States. (Until Kamala Harris takes over).

If the vote counts are accurate, which I don’t for a minute believe, then a remarkable thing happened: Americans chose an incompetent, incoherent, and nearly senile old man who despises their nation as founded, backs BLM and Antifa, champions abortion, supports policies that will necessarily lead to economic ruin, and who is essentially a wholly-owned subsidiary of China-- over a patriot with an unmatched economic record who has kept his promises and kept America safe and out of wars for his entire term in office. If we are that far gone today, no conservative could ever win in the future anyway, whether illegal aliens were granted immunity or not.

On the other hand, if corruption on a vast scale has occurred, and leftists get away with it this time, they are always going to get away with it, particularly since they will have gained even more power and control. I have recently heard many conservatives say they will never vote again, as it is pointless and therefore not worth it if their votes aren’t going to be counted anyway. I understand their feelings of disenfranchisement, but this, too, plays right into Democrats hands and assures one-party rule for perpetuity.

Joe Biden recently said, ”We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.” The media ignored his statement. Turns out, he was not only boasting, but telling the truth, something he is usually loath to do.

“The Swamp” is almost unimaginably vast, fetid and deep. Leftists have successfully trampled on the Constitution. They have broken the system, broken many Americans…broken America.

In 1787, while coming out of Independence Hall after the Constitutional Convention, a lady asked Ben Franklin if citizens were being handed a republic or a monarchy. Franklin replied, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

Which we did. For 233 years.

 

 

 

Schools Abandoning Traditional Grading System

 

              Secondary schools in the San Diego Unified School District have dispensed with the traditional A, B, C, D and F grading system due to racial disparities. Seems that Black, Hispanic and Native students receive lower grades, on average, than white or Asian ones. Apparently, classroom behavior has factored into students’ grades, prompting so-called experts to claim that this unfairly disadvantages students from poorer families and single parent households. Ergo, going forward, no letter grades will be given. Moreover, kids caught cheating won’t be penalized. Instead, they will be given time to “reflect” on their actions and receive Counseling.

              Conversely, students in California can reportedly be arrested and jailed if they miss a “30-minute period during the school day” three or more times a year. This law has morphed into a post-COVID-19 state law that requires teachers to “make sure students are actually participating and not just attending class” virtually. In fact, Lafayette’s Stanley Middle School recently threatened to arrest the son of Mark Mastrov, a seventh grader, according to the East Bay Times. The school’s principal, Betsy Balmat, says the school made three automatic calls to the Mastrov family after he allegedly missed 90 minutes of ZOOM class sessions, an assertion that Mr. Mastrov disputes. Mastrov says his son is a “straight-A” student and believes that he merely logged in shortly after the teacher had taken roll call.

              Papa Mastrov stated, “Out of the blue, we got this letter. It said my son had missed classes, and at the bottom it referenced a state law which said truants can go to jail for missing 90 minutes of class. I called the school and said, ‘Hey, I want to clear this up.’ I was told that it was the law. I said, ‘Are you kidding me? Then that’s a bad law.’” He also noted that families of other students have received similar letters.

              To recap, students of color (SOC?) in at least one California school district can now act up in class and even flat-out cheat without experiencing any repercussions, yet a white student like Markov can be threatened with arrest and jail time in another school district in the same state for not logging into a virtual class on time. Well, that makes perfect nonsense.

              Dispensing with grades and standards of behavior will not work out well for anyone. It will lead to the degrading of learning, respect, and the students’ ability to function successfully when they leave school.

Threatening students with arrest and jail time for being late to join a remote ZOOM class will do the same.

Election Notes

*Tragically for a democratic republic, most people no longer trust the election process in the U.S.

*Long before the election, Hillary Clinton advised Joe Biden not to concede no matter what. In a very real sense, Hillary herself still hasn’t conceded. Al Gore filed lawsuits, contested election results, and fought over every vote and ”hanging chad” for 37 consecutive days after the polls closed in 2000. So there is not much Democrats and their sycophants in the media can logically say about Trump demanding transparency and verification today, especially in light of the numerous, credible reports of fraud.

*In Pennsylvania, Democrats are actually suing to block observers from monitoring ballot counts. This is brazen, to say the least. It is like suing to have nutritional and freshness labels removed from food packaging, only worse. It is on par with trying to pack the court, eliminate the Electoral College, and ban the filibuster. Who would do such things?

*Georgia’s Secretary of State explains the late arriving (Biden) votes by saying that some precincts have “forgotten” to click the “upload” button. So, he notes, they’ve been sent a reminder. Yeah, right. That could happen to anyone. Even those who have one job, one button.

*The Michigan Election Supervisor says one of his state’s election discrepancies occurred because a precinct or two may have “pressed the wrong button.” What the hell? Are there Trump and Biden “buttons?” too? Incredible.

*A new Facebook group called “Stop the Steal” formed on Nov. 4. By Nov. 5 it had over 300,000 members. Facebook promptly suspended the page. This is literally Stalinism. It’s time for people to march on Silicon Valley. ”We are just as mad as hell, and we’re not going to take it anymore” (a line from the old movie “Network”) should be our motto.

*It is Ironic and tragic that Philadelphia is apparently the scene of such corruption and vote-stealing, as it was the home of the Constitutional Convention, which took place at Freedom Hall. Only a soulless person could fail to feel the ghosts of the Founders watching them. Democrats have taken us from Freedom Hall to Tammany Hall to Tyranny Hall. They should be made to pay for taking the nation on that despicable journey.

*Countless counties around the country that were won by Obama in 2008 and 2012 were lost by Biden. Dramatic refutation of the ridiculous claim that America is a land afflicted by systemic racism.

 *Democrats and the media now say it is impossible to rig an American election…immediately after spending the past four years telling us that the Russians rigged the last one.

To which I’d reply: “This is Anderson Pooper Cooper, CNN shill, and we see him like a would-be somebody, an effeminate albino pseudo-journalist spewing vile hatred and intolerance towards the president of the United States and all those who support him.” Cooper is as irrelevant today as pollsters and pet rocks.

*Strangely, Biden has an enormous advantage in votes counted in the wee hours of the morning, in places with no Republican observation. As yet, it’s unclear why. Also odd, Democrats absolutely own the over 110-year-old demographic. Dead people vote for them in lockstep, virtually 100% of the time.

*Hearing from many, many people—mostly conservatives—that they will never vote again, as they have no confidence in the integrity of the counts and process, so no longer believe it’s worth the effort. Leftists have broken the system, broken Americans…broken America. That was their plan all along.

*RINOs, as always, are timid. Many appear to be in hiding. To hell with all of them.

*If the “Hammer and Scorecard” rumor is true, it is the biggest crime in the history of the world. Democrats still cling to their Watergate stories. Watergate was an adorable little prank compared to what they've done in this election.
