Can't We All Just Get Along? (Kumbaya)

                Can’t we all just get along? I mean, deep down, we’re all the same inside, right? Surely, if we could just talk to our “enemies,” and show them we want to be friends, there would be no need for conflict and fighting.

                North Korean leader Kim Jong-un ordered the assassination of his half brother recently, an act that was carried out in an airport in Malaysia using VX nerve gas.

                “♩We are the world, we are the children…♪”

                Oh, and he also recently executed five of his own security officials (using anti-aircraft guns, a technique that seems to be becoming a cherished way to eliminate those that offend him) for making “false statements.” (He previously offed a top official thusly for dozing off in a meeting). He also routinely threatens to hit the West Coast of the United States with nuclear weapons.

                “♪We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let’s start giving.♫”

                A handbook allegedly found recently in an ISIS “training school” suggests the Islamic State terrorists are now teaching their fighters to eat infidels. In it, the group’s chiefs are said to even provide guidance on what parts of the body to devour, and how to prepare them.

                “♬There’s a choice we’re making, we’re saving our own lives.♫”

                Iran, the largest sponsor of state terror on earth, has taken the unprecedented gift handed to it by the Obama administration and…dramatically ramped up its threats to the United States. The regime still threatens to wipe Israel off the map, still stages “rallies” in the streets, encourages protesters to shout “Death to the Great Satan” (U.S.), and is feverishly working on its nuclear weapons and missile programs, treaty or no treaty, while it’s openly baiting and mocking America.

                “♫it’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me.♪”

                Domestically, punks, anarchists, ignoramuses and paid thugs show up at Town Hall meetings to disrupt the democratic process and hurl vile remarks at elected officials, military vets and ministers. And, in one such meeting held in Louisiana recently, they booed…Jesus.

                Remember: “You can’t hug your kids with nuclear arms.”

                In 2016 alone, according to a website dedicated solely to meticulously documenting terrorist attacks around the world, there were 1,274 attacks carried out by Islamic extremists in 50 countries, killing 11,774 people and injuring 14,303.

                 “♫All we are saying, is give peace a chance.♬”

                The canary in the (progressive) mine has died. The lengthy experiment in socialism, hyper-secularism, and inclusion without reason or end, has seen to its demise. This is the last, best chance for decent people to save the world, for those relatively good to stand up against the rapidly swelling evil. Extreme tolerance-naïve or knowing- and pacifism are not virtues. They are each themselves a form of evil, as they aid and abet it…and left unchecked must ultimately lead to the death of representative government and the rule of law.

                Remember, “Make love, not war!”

                After all, “Better red than dead,” right?

Democratic Demagoguery And The Party Of Racism

                Democratic demagoguery knows no bounds, particularly when it comes to race. They see everything in terms of the color of a group’s skin, and, pandering pathetically, incessantly brand Republicans as racists. It is a “testament” to Big Education and the Mainstream Media that this fraud is able to be perpetrated.

                The simple fact of the matter is that the Republican Party was opposed to slavery from the party’s inception, whereas the Democratic Party clung lovingly to that heinous institution the way it clings lovingly to the heinous institution of abortion today. It was Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, who freed the slaves via the Emancipation Proclamation. It was the Democratic Party that fought against African-American civil rights, integration, etc., for many decades after the Civil War ended, through Reconstruction and into the modern era.

                In fact, they still are almost unanimously committed to making sure blacks don’t reach their potential, but rather continue to serve the Democratic Party. A shocking claim to many of you, I’m sure, but it is none-the-less true. How can I honestly make that claim? And how, then, are Democrats able to get away with proclaiming that they have black peoples best interests at heart while Republicans  don’t care about minorities at all, and in fact may want to exterminate them?

                Here is the answer to those questions: Republicans in general haven’t changed their core beliefs in two key regards, at least. They’ve always believed in natural rights granted by one’s Creator, and have never believed it is moral to “own” a fellow human being. But they’ve also always believed that everyone deserves an equal opportunity, but not an equal outcome, which is not possible even with the largest of oppressive governments, anyway. They’ve believed in freedom, and the hard work and responsibility that that freedom necessarily entails.

                By contrast, once the Democrats cherished institution of slavery was no more and integration was imposed, they felt some of their power slipping away. Once blacks were allowed to vote, Democrats had to pivot. They decided that, in order to be a majority party going forward, they would have to come up with a way to win the black vote. The easiest way to do so was to use the hundreds of years African-Americans had spent in slavery and subservience against them. They eventually crafted a message using and preying on the fact that blacks hadn’t been on their own, hadn’t been in full charge of their own lives, and had been told what to do for such a long period of time. They told blacks that the deck was stacked against them, that they couldn’t succeed even if they tried. It would be too hard. Why? Because those evil Republicans expected them to work hard for their livelihood, and would refuse to shower them with free stuff (and empty promises), the way they would.

                In a brilliantly executed and equally twisted maneuver, they have kept many black people in poverty and figurative chains, while getting them to vote for their continued slavery (in this one respect, Democrats haven’t changed), keeping the Democrats in power for long stretches of time. And Democrats did all this, in large part, by accusing Republicans of doing/being what they themselves actually do/are. Mind-boggling in all respects!

                They’ve hijacked an entire race.

                And appear to be damn proud of it.

                

Heaven Yelp Us

                Yelp, the San Francisco based firm specializing in online reviews, will soon offer a new feature allowing consumers to search for businesses offering gender-neutral restrooms.

                Finally, I can leave my house again!

                “Yelp! I need somebody. Yelp! Not just anybody….” (My apologies to the Beatles).

                In a recent blog post, the crowd-sourced company stated that it would collect information from both businesses and customers in adding a gender-neutral bathroom category to its listings. The post averred, “At Yelp, we thrive on inclusion and acceptance.” The company sports a position entitled, “Head of Diversity,” currently occupied by one Rachel Williams. Ms. Williams gave credit for the idea to employees in the company’s products section who were “incensed” by efforts in parts of the U.S. to curtail transgender people’s civil rights. “The hope is that this feature gets business owners thinking about how they’re presenting themselves—who they’re supporting and why. Maybe it will start some conversations,” remarked Yelp’s Diversity Czar.

                I’m sure it will.

                Yelp was among the 53 companies filing friend-of-the-court briefs with the U.S. Supreme Court on March 2^nd, in support of transgender teen Gavin Grimm (!), in a lawsuit against his local school board in Virginia’s Gloucester County. Grimm wishes to use the boys’ bathroom at “his” high school, since it matches his “chosen” gender. In a nod to the Third Reich, the school board’s fascist policy currently prohibits him from doing so.

                The reactionary, hyper-conservative legal group Alliance Defending Freedom, has filed a brief supporting the board, and chastised the 53 companies for disregarding any concerns that the majority of students might have about sharing bathrooms and locker rooms with transgender schoolmates. The school board and the ADF should remember this very simple truism: you aren’t what you are, you are whatever you wish you were. Duh! I mean, hello!

                “Look, honey, Yelp gave the transgender bathroom at the Starbucks on Grand five full transgender symbols!”

Disney 2.0: It's A Gay New World!

                The Walt Disney Company is certainly positioning itself to succeed in the brave new world we are entering. No more Snow Whites and Bambis- at least as you once knew them- from this iconic studio. They are making a concerted effort to get with the times and the ubiquitous LGBTQIA program.

                The soon to be released live-action version of “Beauty and the Beast” will feature a gay story-line between LeFou and Gaston. Director Bill Condon told Attitude magazine that LeFou is confused about what he wants: “LeFou is somebody who on one day wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston.” He added, “It is a nice, exclusively gay moment in a Disney movie.” Well, it’s about time.

                Disney has already broadcast their first gay cartoon kiss. During a second-season episode of “Star vs. The Forces of Evil” on Disney XD, two males smooch. Moreover, in a subsequent scene, two ladies share an “intimate moment.” This isn’t even animé! Usually, in order to see gay cartoon porn, one would have to traipse down to the local adult novelty shop, video store or “Fantasy House,” or penetrate the shadier reaches of the internet. Not anymore! Disney brings it to your kid’s channel! How fantastic and convenient.

                Attitude joyously proclaimed Beauty and the Beast “Disney’s gayest film ever,” and added that it came with a “same-sex surprise” for fans. Yay! Members of the LGBTQ community (I was too tired to add the ‘IA’ this time) have been pressuring movie studios and filmmakers for more representation in recent years, especially more on-screen portrayals. Attitude’s editor-in-chief called this a watershed moment for Disney, and stated: “By representing same-sex attraction in this short but explicitly gay scene, the studio is sending out a message that this is normal and natural- and this is a message that will be heard in every country of the world, even countries where it’s still socially unacceptable or even illegal to be gay.” He also said the film would hopefully help to change attitudes and “bring about real social progress.”

                We can breathlessly await Disney altruistically pushing the social-progress boundary even further in the months and years ahead. In fact, I’m hoping the studio will re-imagine and re-make many of their former classics to better align with modern-day mores and sensibilities. If they wanted to appear even more cutting-edge, the studio could mix and match various characters and scenes from prior movies, and put them into newly coveted situations. The following are some exciting, yet common sense, hints and suggestions for more “normal and natural” scenes:

                *I’m sure Ursula would jump at the chance to get her tentacles around Goofy, if you know what I mean. The creative geniuses at Disney should be able to work wonders with this idea. Is eight really enough?

                *Disney could put Captain Hook and Cruella De Vil together for some truly twisted- and delicious- sado-masochistic fun. And the timing couldn’t be better. BDSM magic at its best.

                *Buzz Lightyear…and Lightning McQueen? I think we all knew that was eventually going to happen. Who would be able to hold back the tears upon hearing Lightning shout, “Take me to infinity… and beyond, Buzzy baby!”

                *Mufasa could definitely make Rapunzel roar! (Bonus: they could compare manes). “Don’t be afraid, Rapunzel. Trust your instincts. The roar will be there for you when you need it.”

                *Sheriff “Woody?” Really? You know he could make Minnie Mouse squeak. Take away quote: “Wait a minute. I just lit a rocket. Rockets explode, baby!”

                *A smiling Cheshire Cat could take Tinker Bell to places she’s never been. Wink, wink…meow!

                *The Prince wakes Snow White up by climbing on top of her and doing “the nasty.” Who wouldn’t be overcome with emotion?

                *”Beauty and the Beast: 50 Shades of Gay.” Never-mind, they’ve apparently already got this one in the can. Disney at its beastial best!

                *Pongo marries Perdita…and there’s a close-up of them doing it…doggy-style! Another Disney first!

                *Tarzan explores the jungle- and his sexuality- with Jane…and a chimpanzee. You would feel the tolerance and inclusiveness!

                *I’m guessing this one is already in the works: Princess Jasmine and Tiana in a torrid interracial lesbian scene. So moving! Bring extra tissues!

                I can’t imagine that any of this would confuse the little ones in any way. And parents will surely be glad that the fun, escapist movie they thought they were bringing their five-year-old to now may force them to answer uncomfortable questions about aspects of sex and sexuality that one that age can’t possibly understand, nor should be forced to face.

                Jiminy Crickets! They’ve taken this “If your heart is in your dream, no request is too extreme” thing…too far.

               

               

Democrats Demand Sessions Resign

                Otiosity, thy name is Democrat! If truth in advertising laws were properly enforced, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party, or DFL as it’s currently called, would be forced to change its nom de guerre to the Democratic-Academic-Media party, or DAM.

                Sadly, we now know, however, that these laws aren’t consistently enforced. For example, the New York Times has new ads out boldly touting itself as “the truth.” I’m sure they will soon add, “the light and the way” to that slogan. Talk about inaccuracy in media! What’s next, CNN claiming its acronym stands for “Conservative News Network?” MSNBC stating: “the bias stops here!?”

                In these surreal times, can an ad pitching the Washington Post as,  “trustworthy, virtuous, artless, hallowed, transcendent…divine,” be long in appearing?

                Come on. It would be more transparent and truthful if these outlets adopted a motto along the lines of: “Don’t question us…if you’d like to see your uncle Fred again!”

                These progressives are certainly entertaining. They accuse Republicans who are honoring military sacrifice- something they wouldn’t do- of “using” the veterans and their families, yet these self-same leftists believe that the people they use…should feel honored!

                And, suddenly, with Trump’s election, Democrats aver that it is a crime against nature for an American official to talk to- or be seen in the relative vicinity of- a representative of the Russian government. That’s odd. It wasn’t all that long ago that their entire foreign policy platform was: 1) If we can just talk to those with whom we disagree, everything will be alright and we could avoid these tragic wars the Republican hawks are wont to lead us into, and 2) Better red than dead.

                Ironically enough, though Democrats have called for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign because he twice met with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak when he was a senator and didn’t relay that fact to Congress during his confirmation hearing, it turns out that a number of Democratic senators have recently met with the very same ambassador and that Mr. Kislyak visited the Obama White House at least 22 times between 2009 and 2016.

Democrat's Disturbing Demeanor

                 In President Trump’s address to congress and the American people last Tuesday evening, and in Town Halls all across the fruited plain, Democrats are now willingly revealing themselves to be something truly repulsive and ugly. Many Democrats stayed seated when President Trump entered the chamber prior to delivering his speech, and virtually none of them attempted to shake his hand, both of these in contrast to long-standing tradition and protocol for both parties.

                To my surprise, Trump smoothly- presidentially- delivered an impassioned, uplifting speech, calling for unity and bipartisanship. One of the evening’s most memorable moments was when he honored Carryn Owens- the wife of Ryan Owens, a navy seal who was killed in action against ISIS just weeks ago- and, of course, her brave husband and his actions. He, and nearly everyone in both parties, stood up and enthusiastically applauded her husband’s sacrifice- and her own- in a nearly three-minute-long standing ovation. A few Democratic luminaries, however, such as Keith Ellison (who was nearly elevated to the head of the Democratic National Committee recently), Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders and Debra Wasserman-Schultz, appeared less than deeply moved- and possibly somewhat bored- and, though they originally joined in the tribute, clapping listlessly, sat down well before most others in the chamber. Later that same evening, Dan Grilo, a former Clinton aide/volunteer, mocked the widow Owens for “clapping like an idiot,” and letting herself be “used” by Trump.

                In a recent Town Hall meeting in Louisiana, Democrat plants- and possibly some actual locals- shouted down a minister who was attempting to deliver an opening prayer, turned their backs on a military veteran, and lustily booed when the minister mentioned Jesus.

                 Democratic bigwigs and operatives aren’t simply naïve and dumb. Conservative pundits believe that Democratic strategists are acting like this because they are scared and desperate. This is- sadly- not the case. They would never sanction- or participate in- these actions if they didn’t truly believe that this is what arouses their party’s base, and that this base will rapidly grow ever larger in number over the coming years, leading them back to power. And, unless current trends change, they are right. Period. Establishment Republicans would never engage in behavior like this, but are all too quick to step aside and let aggressive progressives have their way.

                The Democratic Party is careening ever more to the left. They are now the party of those that literally hate their own country, its Founding Fathers, Western civilization, and disdain Christianity, God, and Jesus. Additionally, they have contempt for those in the military- and the military itself- as well as those who are pro-life.

                That they so easily shun any pretense of decency, logic, reason, or morality in pandering to their base is sad, scary, and sickening.

                No truly knowledgeable, informed, sane, moral person could vote for the likes of Ellison, Pelosi, Sanders, or Wasserman-Schultz. Yet there they stand...or sit.

North Korea Pleads Not Guilty To Malaysian Murder

                 According to the Associated Press, a North Korean envoy rejected the results of a Malaysian autopsy showing that Kim Jong Nam was killed by the nerve agent VX. The victim, the half brother of North Korean ruler Kim Jong-un, may simply have died of a heart attack, the envoy stated. This would be a remarkable coincidence, given that while Jong Nam was waiting for a flight at Kuala Lumpur’s airport, two women darted out from different directions and inexplicably rubbed what appeared to be small rags across his face. Jong Nam was dead within minutes. The women both say they were tricked into believing they were just playing a harmless prank.

                Also contradicting the Hermit Kingdom’s claim is the fact that it pressured Malaysia not to perform an autopsy at all. VX is a banned chemical agent that can only be produced in a sophisticated state weapons laboratory.

                In a related development, North Korea’s government now says that recent reports that the Dear Leader ordered the assassination of five officials by anti-aircraft gunfire are erroneous, as well. In a carefully worded statement released yesterday, a government spokesman said that two of the men died of “natural causes,” one from “Irritable Bowl Syndrome,” another from “Dutch Elm Disease,” and a third from “Scabies.”

The Plot Sickens

                 General Michael Flynn may or may not have deserved to be ousted from his job as national security adviser. I don’t know, as I am not privy to all the details involving what he did or didn’t do. What is troubling, beyond question, is the way it occurred. As others have pointed out, Flynn was the victim of a political assassination, a soft coup, likely executed by a cadre of anonymous bureaucrats in the intelligence community, leftover from the Obama administration and opposed to everything President Trump plans to do.

                As theweek.com’s Damon Linker put it, “The whole episode is evidence of the precipitous and ongoing collapse of America’s democratic institutions.” Which itself is evidence of the precipitous and ongoing collapse of America’s morals and culture, political and otherwise. Linker is certainly not anyone’s definition of a conservative, but he gets it exactly right when he states that unelected intelligence analysts are supposed to work for the president, not the other way around, and that far too many Trump critics don’t care about the sensitive information leaked to the press by the “deep state” in this instance because of their hatred for Trump. Of course, had it been the Obama administration that was the victim of the plot, the Trump critics would’ve gone ballistic. In damning the leakers and in support of Obama.

                It is Congress’ role to conduct public investigations of alleged wrongdoing by public officials, if and when necessary. It is decidedly not the purview of these unelected, anonymous bureaucrats to secretly feed clandestinely gathered classified information to reporters in order to damage a President by taking out one of the members of his cabinet.

                As Linker concluded: “Selectively disclosing details of private conversations monitored by the FBI or NSA gives the permanent state the power to destroy reputations from the cloak of anonymity. This is what police states do. Down that path lies the end of democracy in America.”

                Sadly, to the most ardent leftists, destroying America while deposing Trump is not a tragedy, but a twofer. 

Media Reaction To Town Hall Questions Quite Different Under Trump

                The mainstream media is so childishly, petulantly, pathetically biased it is alternately funny and tragic. No one with an open mind and a smattering of reason could fail to recognize this fact. It is all the more deplorable because they continually claim to be unbiased, equal opportunity watchdogs, and champions of the American people.

                Consider their reaction to the (mostly staged) Town Hall grilling of Republican congressman by plants, stooges and a few actual garden variety citizens. ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, et. al., gleefully fill up their newscasts with video of people pleading for Obamacare to remain intact, castigating President Trump, his policies and supporters, trembling with rage and fear, shouting at their elected officials, and sometimes angrily storming out of the meeting altogether. After these clips the anchors would reappear and, beaming beatifically, extol the virtues of these plucky, ignored and abused pillars of virtue- engaged, involved and informed- exercising their God-given rights in a participatory democratic republic. Then, lower lip beginning to tremble now, eyes glistening, they talk of the current president and his government attempting to shut out the people, shut down the media, and exterminate women, people of color, and the LGBT community.

                Contrast this with the media’s reaction to pointed but civil questions directed at Obama, his policies and supporters, or any of his Democratic representatives in general during Town Hall meetings over the previous eight years or so. This self-same media would show brief clips of actual citizens standing up and brazenly asking a direct question of Obama or his lackeys, occasionally in a louder than conversational voice. After these clips, the anchors would reappear and, exhibiting sorrowful, condescending expressions on their faces, slowly shake their heads as they’d bemoan the obvious ignorance and racism inherent in these radical right-wing extremists attacking the very government that is so gallantly trying to help them.

                This is insulting and insane to anyone who truly believes in a free press and its proper role in a democratic republic, much as it is to those who actually believe in justice for all. In actuality, it is the press who have the bully-pulpit. And who are doing the bullying. Trump is one man, even if he is the President of the United States. And he has to sleep. Throw in everyone in his administration, and it isn’t a measurable fraction of the number of people in the mainstream media, who- incidentally- control what we see and hear as “the news,” and who are presently marching in lockstep/goosestep in an all-out attempt to destroy him.

            Recently, on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski responded to fellow co-host Joe Scarborough’s comments on President Trump by saying, “Well, and I think the dangerous edges here are that he is trying to undermine the media, trying to make up his own facts. And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he could actually control exactly what people think – and that is our job.” (Emphasis mine).

                The media think it’s their “job” to “actually control exactly what people think?” Nothing scary about that. Actually, there is. And, even more terrifying, they are quite successful in doing just that.

The Sexual Devolution

                 Facing off with Tucker Carlson, Democratic National Committee (DNC) senior advisor and transgender rights advocate Zac Petkanas stated that your gender identity determines your sex. That’s right, he believes the only legitimate way to determine a person’s sex is…to ask him/her. Moreover, he says that the question is “settled.” (See “You Get to Choose Your Own Gender-Zac Petkanas-the Science is-“: you-tube; 8:27 in length).

                It is stupefying how quick leftists are to claim that things like global warming and you-determine-your-own-sex are “settled.” They’ll wildly latch on to the most preposterous belief, like “The Benghazi attack was the result of an offensive amateur video,” or “Islam is a religion of peace,” even while refusing to admit that illegal immigration has not been a panacea for Europe or the U.S. They’ll proffer the most bogus of accusations, such as that President Trump wants to hurt your children and members of the LGBT community, but simply will not concede something demonstrably true, such as that dramatically raising taxes on businesses tends to hurt the economy.

                Sex is at our very core- literally. Each cell, every bit of DNA, is coded. We are built this way, by God or Mother Nature/Evolution, take your pick, for a reason. A damned good one at that. The survival of our species. If we had been able to choose our sex, and all or most of us happened to pick the same one, we could never have gotten to the point we find ourselves at now, approaching 8 billion and counting, with some people thinking they can change their sex as easily as they change their clothes.

                Calling the Sears Tower an igloo doesn’t make it one. It was precisely designed and constructed in a very specific manner to serve its function. It’s too late to change the blueprints now. If we put a green and gold jersey sporting the number 12 on a cow, that doesn’t make her Aaron Rodgers- or even a Green Bay Packer.

                I may want to be a world leader, but that doesn’t entitle me to that moniker. I may identify as a Bengal Tiger, but that does not mean I am one.

                Progressives live in a perpetual state of denial. They can’t deal with the truth. They can’t deal with reality. They can’t deal with opposing viewpoints. They can’t deal with defeat. Like spoiled little kids, they just throw tantrums and hope the grown-ups give in.

                Mr. Petkanas repeatedly called President Trump a “monster,” and asserted that he was “attacking LGBT kids” by giving back to the states their right to decide if they want to let men use women’s restrooms and locker rooms, and vice-versa.

                Trump a “monster” lefties? Preposterous. Besides, if you ask him, he will tell you that he isn’t- and that he identifies as…an effective president.
